2401  Other / Meta / Re: Full time trash posters on: December 22, 2014, 08:50:21 AM
I report any of these guys that I see and as someone on a sig campaign I do try my best not to make shit posts, most likely they're also trying to cheat the system and make multiple accounts because they tend to use the same writing style so they're probably doing it to try and make some quick coins.
2402  Economy / Services / Re: CLOUDMINR.IO || Sign. campaign Up to 0.4 BTC/month || 0 Spots available on: December 22, 2014, 07:01:54 AM
Thank you, was asleep when it happened but I've received the payment, this was a good campaign!
2403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Christmas, it's too much of a chore on: December 21, 2014, 10:43:49 PM
Im spending this xmas alone without any special interactions and its not any better.

Is it bad I'd be absolutely happy about that if I were in your position? Tongue
2404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theoretically, is a Bitcoin Credit Card possible? on: December 21, 2014, 10:28:43 PM
Credit has never been an alien phenomenon and it could certainly be done with Bitcoin however as we've seen with exchanges, people who blatantly abuse this kind of system and try to pretend they have more Bitcoin than they actually have etc. will be spotted easily in this kind of market.

I remember some sort of chinese exchange getting set up at one point awhile back and it had somehow gained several hundred in BTC trade volume in just a few days, of course, everyone knew that was a load of crap so they avoided it, you can expect that kind of thing to happen with credit cards.

Fractional reserve lending is very unconvincing when what people are lending out has a fixed supply, that's why all the bankers use paper now and abandoned precious metals.
2405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you work online? What's yout way to stay away from distraction? on: December 21, 2014, 10:21:26 PM
OP and repliers what you guys work at ? I wish I could work online at home feeling comfy af specially now during winter which is a PITA going out.

Well when I'm working on Jewellery I can't really do music, not with headphones and stuff anyway because I might ruin them or get myself set on fire ( yes genuine hazard because I use a blowtorch ) but for a lot of my work I just need a decent computer with an internet connection. Once I get everything set up I'll also be dealing with molten metal so that's a definite no no because I need to concentrate so I don't set the house on fire.

I am pretty much unemployed right now, haven't broken that tax threshold yet but I hope to in 2015 lol Sad Tongue
2406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Microsoft bastards are uploading your private picture on the internet on: December 21, 2014, 10:01:03 PM
Don't upload personal photographs etc. unless you want them to be up on the internet forever, this is why it's a good idea to use chat or in fact call instead because unless they somehow stream it to their servers which I hope they're not doing they shouldn't really be able to mess with that.

I has leave all social media for privacy issues. But for a long time skype did not upload your private file sharing on the cloud and let it visible for everybody, what a stupid thing...

Really is time to make sure everything is encrypted because there's no way corporations like Microsoft are going to respect our privacy lol Tongue

For annoying them about God up to Christmas I suspect.
2410  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea threatens "merciless" response over Seth Rogen film on: December 21, 2014, 04:46:05 PM
Yep I saw that news item, I'm still not convinced in the slightest that it's actually North Korea, simply because like with Iran the west is spoiling for a fight and looking for a legitimate excuse to invade them.
DPRK is a chinese protectorate, so let them try.

Yeah but as we know from Snowden's leaks even the Chinese are getting tired of North Korea's bullshit.
This could potentially be the turning point for the Chinese for them to stop supporting NK

That's exactly my point, I think like with ISIS the world is just getting fed up with their bullshit.
2411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Christmas, it's too much of a chore on: December 21, 2014, 02:33:18 PM
I see what you're saying. It isn't too much of a bother to me, but it is a nice "break" from my routine. Besides, I actually have fun buying presents for my family. I see how it can get annoying or too intrusive, though.

So trips doubling in time when you just want to go out any buy some food doesn't bother you? Tongue

That is awesome, thank you for sharing your method. I really do wonder how much gold / silver has been falsely sold to people.

I just found it on a very detailed blog, but of course I don't have the bookmark anymore, should be fairly easy to find though because it was at the top of google.
2413  Other / Off-topic / Fuck Christmas, it's too much of a chore on: December 21, 2014, 12:58:58 PM
I am now actually locked in my room with a bowl of cornflakes and my laptop to do work because now I have to face the inevitable swarm of family members that make the house feel extremely small and force you to make polite small talk and even if you do the shopping early it still feels like it's a rush to get everything done by Christmas day.

Honestly, I could do without presents if it meant I could do all my work and game in peace :S things aren't as bad this year thankfully but it's still a case of "Too many people gtfo out of the house!" >_<

Also posting some Bill Maher up to illustrate my point, oh and for fucks sake the Christmas music! Not to mention strictly come dancing.

2414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with Storj right now? on: December 21, 2014, 12:35:05 PM
There was a guy on poloniex who spotted some kind of new dashboard on their website, I think somethings going to happen towards the end of the year like they planned so I'm asking aroound.
2415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes I question my libertarian beliefs on: December 21, 2014, 12:08:18 PM
There's nothing wrong with helping people, that's one of the greatest lies that is spread about both Libertarianism and Anarchism, it's just when you steal other peoples' money at gunpoint to do it that it's wrong which everyone else seems okay with.

Just as long as it's not their money being stolen of course Wink
2416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's going on with Storj right now? on: December 21, 2014, 10:50:07 AM
I'm hearing things you guys about how driveshare is going up, do any of you know what's going on with it? You think it's going to be released before the end of this year?

2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remittances: a solution for migrant workers on: December 20, 2014, 11:37:00 AM
According to the Bitspark website, deposit and withdrawal with national currencies isn't available yet.

This is precisely why you don't advertise before you have an actual product, it's amazing how many companies which should know better do this.
2419  Other / Off-topic / Re: How often do you check bitcoin price? on: December 20, 2014, 10:34:19 AM
The price has stabalised a lot now so naturally I'm not needing to check it as much 1 - 2 times a day for me, sometimes I don't bother at all because so little is happening.
2420  Economy / Economics / Re: Co-op Bank fails stress test and Lloyds and RBS remain at risk on: December 20, 2014, 08:41:38 AM
My knowledge of economics isn't that detailed on LIBOR and the interest rates etc. but I am focused a lot on all the money printing and extremely dodgy shit happening with the precious metals markets and just seeing if the central banks even have any gold anymore let alone silver.

I think though higher interest rates would affect the banks lending policies quite a bit but as usual the news networks will focus on totally irrelevant crap to keep the public ignorant of what's going on behind the scenes. It's like when they talk about reducing the deficit all the time and quietly increase the spending or forget to mention that the whole system operates on the constant borrowing and lending of debt and would collapse in on itself it anyone actually did anything about the budget.
