Having bitcoins and gold seem horrible right now but having any fiat currencies will feel horrible within a few years when having bitcoins or gold will mean you are rich

2423  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: April 29, 2014, 02:47:01 PM
oh dear such drama! iv missed BTC train cause i had a relation with a bitch and she was breaking my balls big time, so i need time of the house to keep my insanity, we broke now all good! Cheesy
and i missed the LTC train because i think the LTC wallet was broken (taking ages to sync)
well hopefully im on BC train Smiley

If Bitcoin will suceed big; the price now is extremely small, especially since we are pre-USD decline and pre-huge financial storm on the US and Europe

If it doesn't succeed you will have miss a bubble Wink
2424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinbet.cc -- $340,000 stolen, the worst 45 days of my life. [Long] on: April 29, 2014, 02:45:38 PM
its been said a few times that that customer service guy was paul and that blogger from many pages back said he was paul regan from florida.

i'm about 97% certain this is his facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/paul.regan.313

i sent him ONE message about coinbet and he changed his privacy settings almost immediately, but i have the original page up on my computer still with all his information.  he's from florida, formerly NY and if you google coinbet, paul regan you get to that profile.

https://www.google.com/search?q=facebook+paul+regan+coinbet&oq=facebook+paul+regan+coinbet&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60l2.6826j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

i think he's the weakest link and we should all take a trip to florida and confront him.  see what he knows.

So you are getting closer to the owners, it seems it was a case of bad management, can someone confirm?
2425  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Satoshi only spent 50 BTC. Here's where those coins are now on: April 29, 2014, 02:44:00 PM
Satoshi is the name of a government, possibly even US.
They will not cash out BTC to fiat.
I strongly belief that Satoshi is the name of a government agency of some country.
All the events points in this direction for me.
People will disagree with me, I don't care.

Just my 2 satoshi's

You don't give any arguments or clues

Do you think these are all his coins?  If I were him once I got to 1 million in that wallet, I'd have switched over to mining into a different wallet address.. held onto the 1 million as an investment and spent the rest.

Oh and I doubt that satoshi will become the richest person in the world.. first of all, proof of stake is being figured out by coins like Nxt and going to use something like 1200 times less energy than Bitcoin to run, not to mention being significantly more cost efficient for the same security.  That aside.. even if Bitcoin did get to be worth as much as the USD these days, Satoshi would be approximately just as wealthy as Bill Gates, though granted he could actually spend his without needing to cash out his stock and crash it, because everyone else would simply hold onto any BTC he's handed them.

Satoshi will probably never spend his stash
If a BTC is work well into the 6digits he would be the richest person on the earth providing he exists, he is alive and he has access to his BTC

Well 1 million is kinda nice Smiley

1000 is pretty nice, 1,000,000 is extraordinary

Are we collapsed yet?  Grin

Just hit a new 24 hour high less than 60 minutes ago:
Last Price: 432.501 USD Low: 412.971 USD High: 438 USD
The Bear's push lower is now collapsing upwards.  Smiley

We have seen that a few times but we keep coming back down until we won't

I am in watch mode right now

Both, look at the first message

Error 521 for cex.io for me today, how much is the Ghs?

Tu as un problème horizontalité ?

2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Final Warning for Long-term holders... on: April 29, 2014, 02:30:10 PM
Every time I see this topic come up in my recent topics list I think: how nice of OP to give us one final warning. How considerate of him!

This is one of those threads where the volume of replies is massively out of proportion to the quality (or rather, lack of) in the OP.

It keeps being bumped, I wish I wouldn't see a thread in "show new replies to your posts" if I unwatched the thread

Final warning!

But the happy hour was a one time thing? It would be nice to have it every week

Agree.
It would be great to have happy hour or some special event every once in a while (say, every 2 weeks or every month) Smiley

Every week Grin

Guys, now you are able to see your "playing achievement" under the statistic tab. You can use this to track your  playing progression or brag to your friends about your current achievement Smiley

*Many thanks to FUR11 for the idea Smiley

Wow this is great news, will there be any badge for a newbie?

By newbie, do you mean smaller requirement?

Imagine becoming a  Celebrity   Earn at least 10 BTC from referral bonuses.  Shocked

"Indigo   Win at least 100 BTC from the site." is not be too easy as well  Grin

It is too bad the previous betting doesn't count and that there is no give away related to the achievements

It should become more achieve-able along with the size of bankroll Cheesy.

Previous betting also counted boumalo. You can try to refresh your browser again, previously it's still calculating your progress.

Achievement's giveaway is an interesting idea, will think about that too, thanks for the idea! Smiley

Ok good it would be nice to get x free satoshis/24H depending on how much you have bet on ED like the feature on PD3

Based on Stunna's response to my post, it doesn't sound like the older members of PD2 will get anything special in terms of starting at a higher level.  That would be a bummer.

I'm trying to figure out a way I can allow for this, importing accounts isn't a simple option though as the back-end has been completely rebuilt from scratch and we have a completely different DB/structure. Doing it manually would be a major hassle as well.

Maybe restrict it to ID's with a certain amount of bets and/or btc wagered. Wink

ID's that bet more than 10BTC and ask to have their account imported

It's been the most beautiful and competitive faucet for a little while...
But still 1000 for whitelisted guys it's good...
I'm so excited for PD3 coming... I will earn my good points. Roll Eyes

How do you get whitelisted? Wink I get 500s which is nice but I don't mind receiving 1000 Tongue

Apparently they don't do whitelisting anymore so we'll just have to wait until PD3.

Ok

500>8000 atm it feels pretty good  Grin

I wonder how much will the faucet be for the players from the higher levels
