2421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: September 04, 2016, 11:35:28 AM
We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
OMG, seriously? Hack bitcoin with a calculator? Only in case if your friend is a geniuous. If it takes HOURS for strong mining machines to generate bitcoins, how long do you think would it really take to HACK btc...

2424  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 19, 2016, 04:16:54 PM
Right now i am earning close to 0.01btc per weak with my signature campaign but i just dont know what to do with them.I want to grow them and reach a good amount of btc but only collecting will take a long time to reach a good amount. So i start to gamble with them and till now since 3-4 weaks i have lost all my signature campaing earnings.I win at the start but i become greedy and gamble more and then lost them.
So i decided not to gamble with them can any one tell me what are the other options which i can do with my earnings.
Ohh, I feel sorry for you, I guess it's a typical situation, when people earn money and afterwards they lose all of 'em, or even more because of gambling, you're lucky you don't owe a huge amount of money to some gangsters Smiley
And about your question..well, it's for you to decide what to do with your earnings, do the same that you do with your dollars, it's all just money after all..
2425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 17, 2016, 07:16:35 AM
Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh
I live in Ukraine and in my country people barely know what bitcoin is, not even speaking of using it Smiley
2426  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2016, 07:09:54 AM
how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..
Tell them the story of it. The fact, that once its price was more then 100 times lower sounds incredible! It must be seen as a beacon of hope.)
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: August 16, 2016, 04:29:04 PM
Let's say I generate a new address and by some miracle it has Bitcoin already in it belonging to somebody else. Is it legal to just take it? I understand those odds are very low, no need to lecture me, I'm just interested.
100% illegal, it's a stealing - when you take smth that doesn't belong to you, no matter was it a deliberate theft, or an accident.
2428  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 16, 2016, 04:22:31 PM
what you will chose amomg them.and why do the banks are afraid of bitcoin.why banks are not much smooth and faster like bitcoin.if banks start accepting bitcoin as payments then will it became a revolutionary for us?can bank can solve our mining or money curculation probems.
Bitcoin Wallet - this is the future, its main advantage automatically working system, so arleast you can't get robbed by your own bank, but there is always a risk of being robbed by a cracksman.)

I wish I could, I find btc very convenient, unfortunately my country is not yet developed enough for using btc in public places.
2431  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Olympic games should be abolished on: August 14, 2016, 09:36:07 AM
They're like war, really. Only without guns. Sport isn't nation against nation, it's athletes against other athletes. Let the best guys win, and let's forget the stupid, stinking, blood-tainted flags behind them.
I give you my 100% agreement, in my opinion it is more like Gladiator fights, not the wars, but still, it is far from civilisation.
2432  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 14, 2016, 09:30:57 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
I think it would be still popular, because it is very convenient. But, maybe some of people would stop using it, because there would be no more reason for investing money in it.
2433  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think would happen if all drugs became legal? on: August 14, 2016, 09:27:13 AM
I read somewhere in the the forum that after the silk road bust, online drugs sales has actually increased. so that got me wondering, what possible outcomes do you see if all drugs became legal? do you think that would make society better? worse? same?
I think nothing would change much.. I mean, whoever wants to use drugs - they already use them. I think society will even become better, considering the fact, that lots of people, especially teenagers, take drugs only because they are prohibited and that is one of the most attractive things about them.
2434  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you work of off your passion today? on: August 14, 2016, 09:16:49 AM
s the title says, can you make a good living from doing something you love or has that time passed long ago?

PragerU video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVEuPmVAb8o
Sure you can. Why has that time passed long ago? Making a good living has never been an easy challenge. I think if your work is something that you love - you've already made a good living, no matter how much you earn.
2435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam and stereotypes on: August 14, 2016, 08:45:16 AM
All the stereotypes here thinks that Islam only orders to kill ..but let me tell you Islam Gave rights to women and gave every human being their rights to live and right to make property and rights of the neighbours ............Islam is here for the previous 1400 years and Islamic terriosm Only started After United States started to Invade Muslim Countries ? Whats your take on this
I totally agree with you, Islam is not the thing, which most people think is it. Terrorism has nothing to do with religion. We don't consider Christianity as terrorism, nevertheless they did the Crusades..
2436  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: August 13, 2016, 03:12:53 PM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum
Probably it is possible, but not for a long period of time, because there are also other btc users, who aren't bitcointalk members.
2437  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 13, 2016, 03:07:16 PM
How safe is it?
It isn't safe at all, it is a cryptocurrency after all! But you can give it a chance and, maybe, you'll win this game.
2438  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 12, 2016, 01:14:59 PM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.
For sure I'd buy more btc, but not too much, because if it dropped to the price of 1$, it could easily drop lower, than that, so it's quite risky.
2439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 10, 2016, 10:20:54 AM
Do you think that people hate bitcoins why?
Are you hate bitcoins or like it.........
But my answer is I LIKE BITCOIN.
I think some people don't like bitcoins just because they don't know anything about them, or because they have no ability to get them.
2440  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: August 10, 2016, 09:34:56 AM
Should I believe in Bitcoin ?
I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy  , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?
I think you should take a bit of gamble and invest some money in bitcoin, as long as it is quite stable and reliable developing currency. But if you don't wan't to lose your money you can invest only a half of it. Smiley
