2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 31, 2021, 10:32:15 AM
I think centralization is always a turn off or disadvantage when it comes to comparing most platforms with that of Binance in whichever way, that is, everything from Binance in many cases comes with huge centralization, such as its DEX, etc and that will always keep people at bay. But yet, talking about smart contracts and how needful it ought to be as decentralized as possible, then one will uphold the Ethereum blockchain, and probably that's one of the reason it keeps growing and keeping a competitive advantage. However, comparing Polkadot and Binance smart chain, I find Polkadot better because of its high rate of decentralization and that alone is an addition and considering the fact the platform is still being developed, that is to say, when more services and features have been put in place, it will be far better than Binance smart chain which has been around before it. Nevertheless, let's keep our fingers crossed and watch what Polkadot will achieve in the next few months and if the team continues working hard, they will attract a lot of users and projects and if they don't, Binance smart chain will take over.

I would not call BSC and all products build on it "centralized". Its like semi-decentralized. It has delegated POS mechanism, it may be forked by community anytime something bad happens on network (due to abuse of main nodes power) etc. And thats the point of speeding up transactions. The faster you want your chain to be the more centralized it needs to be. At the end both (fully decentralized coins such as bitcoin) and semi centralized chains (such as BSC) will find its use cases. BTC is good as store of value, BSC is good for swaps, wraps, cheap SC.

Now 45 billions, so not so  much more..
So probably we can see much higher levels soon?
It was top of alt bubble. I doubt that they have that much steam left. I think that they will be stopped very soon (maybe 2x from now or even now) with bagholding whales dumping their bags.

BTW when you add photo, you can add parameters to make them smaller. For example width or height - [*img width=400][/img*].
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 04:35:54 PM
I removed  group name cause I don't want to advertise any pump groups, but this group already crossed 40k members..
So it would  be good opportunity to  get rid off ripple baghold :->

Great pick. You were right. +100% in 24h. Very impressive since its top 4 CMC coin. XRP looked to me very likely to be chosen by them but I put my bet on TRX. To shame. Maybe TRX will be third pomp coin. Lets see. Wonder if they will continue to pump for 3 days and +1000% just like with DOGE and others. I doubt we will see 200%+ gains.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 12:16:14 PM
very surprising, but the market data is still untraceable, meaning it can't be traded yet. if it has been tracked, for example on binance or maybe yobit at such a good price, i think the WSB hodler will get a good profit and the coins will also definitely grow.

It is not a coin/token and will never be traded. Its just way of advertisement that coinmarketcap used to promote this reddit chanel and its achievements (AKA helped to become shiller king of crypto)
2445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 11:14:20 AM
WallStreetBets is actually quite huge. No wonder Doge coin pump so much for a couple of hours. Streamers and giant youtubers are talking about them so I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly pump XRP for the sake of pumping it and memes.

Yep. They unlocked unlimited power. They can pump anything they want. Personally, I can't wait to see how they will use thier new power and how it will affect whole crypto industry. Thinking about it all the time starting from tommorow. IMO it will create alt season that will be used by whales to cash shitcoins to bitcoin before bitcoin final rally to 100k+.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 30, 2021, 11:04:27 AM
In my opinion, both projects are great to invest in, the only issue with the Binance chain is that it is more centralized than polka dot. The good thing about the Binance chain is that it is backed by one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange. But, I have not seen any successful projects on the Binance chain whereas on Polkadot there have been few projects that have been successful. So, if I investing then I will equally invest in both the projects and hold them for long term.

Name project that is successful on polkadot. I can name one that is successful on BSC - its pancake swap, TOP 7 biggest DEX, top 114 token.

BSC (aka BNB) is not only a chain. Its great investment product, yield passive income from launchpads, lauchpools, burns (~15% supply annual) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208144.msg53299809#msg53299809.
2447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 10:59:10 AM
Many people still believes altcoins season has already happened

We had defi bubble not ALT season. If you go back to 2017 you will know what true alt season is. Random alts (top 10 included) did 100-400% daily profit. 5000% monthly. We didn't see such thing now.

I just hope people are wise not to get burnt in all of these,

No, they are not. They will never learn. Greed will always win.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 07:28:50 AM
Monero is not looking so hot yet

Was talking about TRX (tron) not monero but .... monero might be good pick too. WSB became famous by fucking with wall street funds, they might be interested fucking with US and recent laws that push bittrex to desist XMR.

Same with XRP:

I heard Ripple (XRP) will be shilled next weak (I have to ask friend, who told me that about sources and will try to come back to you).

XRP was attacked by SEC last month. I think that insighters from government might hold big shorts position until now.

Chłopaki wpadł mi ciekawy temat ale nie mam czasu przekładać na nasze:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313203.msg56221725#msg56221725

Co sądzicie? TRX kolejnym dogem a to wszystko jako początek alt season?
2450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 29, 2021, 06:57:19 PM
What happened:

1- WallStreetBets (subreddit with 6.2 mln users) shill and short squeeze GameStop (NYSE stock) from 20$ to 400$ in 3 days (from 4$ to 400$! - from ATL few months before).
2- WallStreetBets short squeeze AMC (NYSE stock) from 1.9$ to 19$ in 3 days
3- WallStreetBets came to crypto and pumps Doge from 24 sat to 260 sat in 1.5 days.
4- WallStreetBets is being welcomed by CMC with best possible advertisement (listed at #0 place, before bitcoin) - to make sure everyone in crypto knows about new shiller king.

5- binance (owner of CMC) helps in shilling doge - 15 tweets from binance and 10 from CZ in last 30h.

What now? WallStreetBets will simply stop, right after becoming shilling king? No way. They have at least few billion $ to earn in next few weeks simply buying, shilling, pumping and dumping.

What will happened:

1- WallStreetBets will continue to pick coin and shill them
2- massive pumps will push investors to become "pump hunters" - searching for next thing that will be pumped
3- this will pump whole alt market
4- this will create new alt season
5- this will pump whole alt market even more.

What are your bets for next WallStreetBets pump? I guess it may be TRX. We all know that Justin Sun is a good friend of CZ and as I posted above ... CZ (whole binance and CMC) is doing a great job in helping WallStreetBets reach to every crypto investor (CMC advertisement, tweets about doge). TRX might not be next pump but its highly likely to be one of them.

BTW:

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron
He is shilling Wallstreetbets too.
https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1355163433700745220
And looks like Wallstreetbets started to shill TRX too.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 29, 2021, 05:38:15 PM
At the end its all about user base and money. And binance is king of both. They generate like $1 B in profit just in Q4 2020. It will be $2B in Q1 2021. CZ once asked during interview -aren't you scared that one day someone will come with better product? He answered... I hope we will buy him and merge before he will grow.

Crypto is also open source. There is nothing that could stop BNB to copy polkadot code and open binance smart chain v2 (v1 is compatible with etherum, v2 could be with DOT if DOT will grow big enough).

IMO BNB should be nr. 3 CMC and sooner or later we will see it there.
2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Leverage / Futures Trading permissible in religion ? on: January 29, 2021, 05:22:09 PM
I dont know about halal but Many Religions laws and doctrines was written thousands of years ago and those laws may not have illustration with trading online as we do now, but religion is practice now as a fanatism hub and even if there are no illustration, religion scholars who is against the trading will find away to Bend those law in Favour of what the like and don't like.
I don't bring religion into my business, once my business don't require cheating on someone, harming someone, or endangering someone's life.

Pretty much you've exhausted the topic. 100% agree.

1- no one wrote down rules about trading thousands of years ago
2 - even if there are now some people (eg priests) who think otherwise, these are only their interpretations

but..
trading may cause behavior and arouse emotions that are described as sins (such as greed). If you trade based on your strategy, trying to put emotions far away ... there is nothing bad about it. You just add liquidity to market.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 29, 2021, 10:35:50 AM
Yeah, very usefull, but focus of general crypto community is in defi clouds, sadly.

Maybe new binance lauchpool will throw some attention on identity on blockchain solutions.

https://research.binance.com/en/projects/litentry

"Litentry is a decentralized identity aggregation protocol across multiple networks, featuring a Decentralized Identity (DID) indexing mechanism and a Substrate-based credit computation network."

Its completly different story but ... might build some hype around idena in next few days.
2454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1INCH Speculation/Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2021, 10:30:06 AM

and a small price update - the 6000 sats has now been breached and the tradingvolume on Binance is almost 200BTC Smiley

the next price update - 8000 sats has already been tested several times today with a trading volume of ~300BTC

I see we even hit 10000 sat. Nice pomp. 3x in 2.5 weeks. Looks like defi bubble might not say final world (at least with projects that have value - big dexes)

Quote
The total value locked in 1inch is closing in on $1 billion, and the decentralized exchange aggregator has processed nearly $6 billion this month.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/1inch-price-rallies-30-as-its-monthly-dex-volume-nears-6-billion

Wait for todays volume with and Musk pump Smiley
2455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 28, 2021, 04:53:06 PM
In case of 51% support, the funds will be automatically unlocked in favor of the wallet of @redDwarf03:
0xf429e36D68BE10428D730784391589572Ee0f72B

Otherwise, the coins will be returned to the foundation wallet:
0xcbb98843270812eeCE07BFb82d26b4881a33aA91

So we have first usage of smart contranct and first automatic govermance decision? 0 hype about it? It went out unnoticed? Damn we have to be in last stage of market cycle (depression).

Its 51% of network or 51% of voting nodes?
2456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to get your first crypto Visa card!! on: January 25, 2021, 03:53:20 PM

Personally, I did not find where to read the comments about Binance Card!
But I found  something intresting....

The text below the logo-free mock-up has since been scrubbed of that Visa mention.

Just checked my binance card and it has Visa logo on it but much less visible than o photo 1 (not that bright).

BTW how is it possible to offer 8% cashback? Where those money comes from? How they achived that while my regular credic card from bank costs me a few dollars a month.
2457  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the point of collateralized loans ? on: January 24, 2021, 05:56:49 PM
There is no doubt the gas  fee is making innovations for Ethereum Dapps o stall, but you say all these because of the amount involved in the transaction, assuming you are well capitalised this won't be an issue for you, I have paid $20 for $100 transaction before that was when I believe Ethereum will likely self destruct if it can't solve it scaling issue this year because we now have some promising L1 with better transaction speed

In most cases better transaction speed = lower decentrealization. Its impossible to cheat math.

I think that when it will become a real deal devs will impement second, semi-centralized layer that will offload main network immedialty. You will have an option to go on main chain for 10$ or on side-chain for 0.1$. With 100$ transaction you will chose semi-centralized option with 10 000$ you will go with main, more secured, decenteralized chain.
2458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to get your first crypto Visa card!! on: January 24, 2021, 05:45:59 PM
Damn. Didn't know there are some many options. Thanks OP

I have binance card. They have up to 8% cashback (you forget to mention about it). I'm not sure why they have so low user score(3.43)? Is it possible to read comments?
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: January 24, 2021, 05:38:02 PM
A review of them is good indeed. Being a part of the house will make investors win or lose along with the site which makes investment = gambling. Some people prefer to lend their money to the site and get commission instead making their investment secure and increase wherever the site is winning. Dunno if this type of investment is used somewhere but after this quite long run, I feel disappointed by the current concept.

Isn't it because of bitcoin bull run? I mean that rapid bitcoin movements gives investors enough emotions - gambling is not needed. Low volume affect the final result to be more exposed to extreme cases (like whale gambler). Are there any statistic about volume on yolodice? Did it drop significant?

Do obsługi takiej transakcji oddelegowano aż 3 pracowników firmy. Obecny w budynku byl również pracownik ochrony. Co więcej mogli zrobić?

Aaa i skaradzione zostały złote monety a nie krypto/kasa z krypto.
