How can i learn to use the platform & work here for longtime as i am new here. i have not much knowledge about it.The proper Guidelines can be given by someone? I read the pins and I understand alot but i want to improve my experience ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Hello, and welcome to Bitcointalk forum. Better late than never. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) You will not be able to progress here if you only focus on "work" part. As others have already pointed out, read and learn more about the topics discussed here and get actively involved in the discussions, and you will find that there is much more to it than just work. This forum is an excellent source of information, and the members are very friendly, and they also share information and advice with each other. But first of all, I strongly recommend that you take your time and read the topics that other members have recommended before me. This will help you to avoid the beginner mistakes that many newbie members make.

lightlord isn't a fool, he couldn't possibly be unprepared for the worst thing that might happen to him. Lightlord's gambling business must have run automatically, and he has staff who can certainly run his business with or without him inside. I always wish good things happen to lightlord.
If that were true, then how can you explain what happened a few months ago? I do not know how familiar you are with the facts here, but what you are saying does not add up.

I think I was a bit scary. I also like having a level of control over where my money goes and some things can be pretty risky. Even the first investments I made were in commodities because of their stability and the fact they have more chance of achieving something. So, when I saw the emergence of cryptocurrencies, I never thought that they would have any significant value or become a threat to fiat currency or the central banks.
What made me come around was the element of peer-to-peer transactions. Also, the fact that the technology has been improved over time and the development has been led by the crypto community itself.

Calm down, buddy! There is no need to lash out at other members if you can't participate in the discussion constructively. Everyone has the right to their opinion on this forum and you should respect that. Swearing and personal insults are completely inappropriate.

~ I am sorry but if we are having a situation where "if lightlord dies, all of your money is gone with him" in a casino, then I would say it is perfectly acceptable to write here. What was the defense for him being not around? "He is sick and he can't come constantly until he is better", so it means that if he is sick in the future, we just have to wait for him? That's unacceptable and very good reason to write here.
Very well said. This is exactly how I feel. Despite this being one of the darkest scenarios you describe, it does not mean something like this can never happen. But, what about Zodiac1233, who has been active in this thread since it started? He is a lead developer at Bitvest, and if I'm not mistaken, he knows lightlord in real life as well. If lightlord had health problems, why didn't Zodiac take over the casino management or at least let the public know what was going on? That would be an acceptable course of action, IMHO.

Plagiarism (copy paste).User: MalenasanzPost link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379848.msg58899102#msg58899102archive: https://ninjastic.space/post/58899102Decentralized exchanges
Decentralized exchanges are crypto exchange platforms that allow users to buy, sell, send, receive, and trade crypto-related assets in a decentralized system without a central authority. It purely works on a smart contract protocol.
DEX promotes Peer-to-peer trading, enabling users to directly transfer funds from one person to another with no third-party involvement. Yet, it has drawbacks, like users are supposed to deposit crypto into their crypto wallet to make transactions. Also, it requires KYC verification and crypto wallet integration.
The benefits that DEX offers are as follows
Fund Control - Users have direct access to their funds, and there is no central authority that can hold your funds from using them. Security - Most of the DEX uses a smart contract system that is immutable in nature that prevents scams, thereby offering more safety and security. Privacy - KYC is not involved here, as mentioned before, so there will be no private information leakage or theft. Now, one can get a clear idea of how a DEX works and the benefits that it delivers.
Here I have listed some promising decentralized exchanges below,

Since Bitvest was first mentioned on the bitcointalk forum, it has gained a lot of popularity. Without the bitcointalk forum, Bitvest would probably not exist today. Of course, they can stop their promotion here, but I doubt they can attract new clientele without it.
I do not think so, not all casinos get a success by advertising the casino in this forum. This forum is just one of the way to promote the casino because there are many other places out there to advertise a project such as social media where many other products uses social to promote/advertise the product. It is exaggerated if you think that this forum is the only one place to attract new players. Without a doubt bitcointalk is the biggest crypto related forum but it does not mean that there is no other place to find customers/users. No, I do not think I'm exaggerating. 777Coin and Bitvest are among the oldest crypto casinos and, according to what I have seen, advertised on this forum exclusively. For example, lightlord does not even maintain any active social media profiles, as opposed to most newer casinos. Due to the fact that these are unlicensed and unregulated casinos, which, by the way, are not very visually attractive, they could hardly compete with today's market. Although I could be wrong, but I think that lightlord's only advantage was the reputation he has built in this community.

~ Plagiarism of hd49728's work by RajaDen.
Unfortunately, he has already edited his post and added the source later. However, I still believe this is a violation of the "No duplicate posting" rule. He basically copied hd49728's post and reposted with minor modifications.

Use a computer or change your phone broswer to a computer version. It does not work on mobile version Visit https://imgur.comThat is true, and it is also possible to use imgur mobile app without needing to log in on the website and I find it more user friendly. I do not think you need to log in to Imgur website to use their image hosting service. It works for guest accounts as well. By the way, there is also imgbb.com as an alternative.

Of course you can run a casino without advertising it on Bitcointalk. However, when it comes to cryptocurrency casinos, Bitcointalk is by far the largest forum in the industry. Also, I believe that the cost of advertising here can be a lot less if we dedicate some of our own time.
Yes, even without forum advertising, you can operate a casino but the forum is one of the best ways to introduce and get exposure for a casino. That's why you see a lot of casinos are advertising through campaigns because it's lesser in cost and effective in the niche. The exact target market is in here, you have bitvest and other crypto casinos. People in here are versed with cryptocurrencies and a mix of being a gambler so that's really effective marketing. Hopefully, the owner is feeling well this year. Since Bitvest was first mentioned on the bitcointalk forum, it has gained a lot of popularity. Without the bitcointalk forum, Bitvest would probably not exist today. Of course, they can stop their promotion here, but I doubt they can attract new clientele without it.

But holding a coin that you don’t have plans to sell for a long time and earning percentage on them doesn’t seem like a bad idea to me.
It depends. Are you comfortable keeping coins on third-party sites over which you have almost no control? Some people are not comfortable and prefer keeping coins in non-custodial wallets or cold wallets.

I think most people still don't understand how the Bitcoin fee rate works and the best kinds of wallets to use when spending Bitcoin.
I completely agree. Some people are stupid, so they either use custodial wallets or exchanges that rob them on transaction fees, or they are stupid, so they do not know how to set a custom fee when transacting crypto. Talking about high transaction fees when it comes to Bitcoin is absurd.

Gone are the days when bitcoin was mined with a Mobile phone...
Yes, as Odolvlobo already said, Bitcoin was never mined with a mobile phone. Some altcoins might have been, but never bitcoin. In fact, you can't even run a full bitcoin client with a mobile phone as far as I know.

I personally don't care if it is Elon Musk or a random guy who says he thinks who Satoshi might be.
In the wording Musk did not say that he knows who Satosthi is, but only what he believes or considers most likely. And there was the name Nick Szabo. Of course, you could dismiss this as pure speculation, but maybe Elon Musk knows more than we do. However, as I already said, I personally don't believe that Szabo is Satoshi. But I guess everyone has their own opinion on that. Not sure what to think about this whole Elon Musk/crypto thing. He may have a hidden agenda, but the guy does have a history of doing some odd things. Well, at least Musk didn't say Craig Wright was Satoshi. That has to count for something. I wonder if CSW will sue Musk for defamation? lol

I hope more people respond. A lot of 25-50 would be really great!
Since I have some testnet coins, I guess I could also assist with testing. What is the minimum deposit or withdrawal amount? I think it would be best if you posted the link to your platform so anyone can test it. You would probably get more people interested that way. Best of luck!

How can I mine bitcoin from my android mobile phone?
You cannot. Bitcoin mining is dependent upon a hardware with dedicated processing power and dedicated energy, and mobile phones don't have those features. In fact, you can't run a full bitcoin client in a mobile phone, either, so the idea of mining through a phone doesn't make much sense. If you are serious about Bitcoin mining, then you should read this " First time/Small miner reference for getting started."
