1641  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping of sale threads with alts on: August 27, 2022, 11:58:31 AM
There are bumping related rules which restrict a user from bumping the sales thread before fixed time. But some members are bypassing this by using alt accounts to bump their threads. They just some question related to the service or leave a positive reply on the thread. Is there any way to put a check on this ?

The best way to deal with such posts is to report them to the moderators as low value spam. If they are excessive, some newbie accounts might even be banned for such behavior.
1642  Other / Meta / Re: Additional security measures to keep account secure on: August 27, 2022, 11:48:05 AM
2FA should be more than enough for an extra security measure. Even if someone steals your password or finds a way to break into your account, 2FA (one time password) on your account protects you against such attacks. In case you lose your password, you can still reset it by entering a valid email and a 2FA code. Of course, there is no such thing as 100% security, but this should definitely help a lot.
1643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Blokbro plagiarised Content , Roadmap and Whitepaper from LockNess.io on: August 26, 2022, 04:20:38 PM
I understand your reasoning .. but I believe that a person who really wants to launch a bogus or scam project, first checks all the details without making mistakes, and second does not make changes repeatedly on the site because in this way he avoids leaving as few traces as possible .. another thing does not put its identity on the site ...

None of your arguments hold water. Throughout history we have seen numerous examples of different types of scams. Some are pulled off by professional fraudsters with almost flawless execution, while others are less professional and more ridiculous work of amateurs. The mere fact that you disclosed your identity does not necessarily imply your honest intentions. More often than not, scammers use fake personal information to give themselves credibility and to mislead their victims.

I simply felt that for this small project it was enough to continue in this direction and see how people reacted because I know that the concept of KYC on the address is not well seen by the community and dedicate further time was not worth it. Regardless of the plagiarism and the mess made by the fake programmer, as I have always said, I'm not here to scam anyone and so much time to look for money. I wanted to see what the community thought.

I am baffled by this. Why even start a project if you do not consider it worth putting your time and effort into it? That statement alone makes me think that this was just a failed attempt at quick money grab scheme, and not a serious undertaking. The point is, scam or no scam, it does not matter. Because if you (for whatever reason) do not consider a project a worthy challenge for you, you are better off doing something else and not wasting your time, or worse, asking people to invest their money in something you haven’t really figured out, or do not even care about.

I have received a lot of criticism regarding the KYC on the address but I believe that in the future it will be necessary for the full adoption of crypto around the world. I remember that many people of a certain level in 2016/2017 (e.g. the CEO of binance) were completely opposed to the current KYC and had declared that they would never include it in their exchenge ... now instead we find that they have fully adopted it .

This is completely irrelevant.

30) Stalker22;

It is your loss. I have no problem investing $500 to $5,000 in a project or an idea that looks promising. The risk/reward ratio is critical, though, and in your case, not being sure what the product will be, the reward is not worth taking on.

There are a lot of very savvy people out there who will happily lend you money for a project that is promising. Too bad you didn't look up for an angel investors before you decided to try to scam people. Now you are stuck with your bad reputation and financial situation. Your reputation is ruined, and your future here is ruined. That is a tough way to go. Hopefully, you will move on to other pastures to make a buck.

According to this post, the author of findmycoins.ninja is a member CryptoSpoon, but he has not been active on the forum for years.

1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: August 22, 2022, 10:23:14 PM
ETH was able to the price of $2k already and that is because of the hype of the merging but then again, if the market is still in the bear trend and if Bitcoin is still down, it’s hard to see the altcoins to pump that much and with $4k price of ETH, it can only possible to happen if Bitcoin will break the resistance. Few months left for the year 2022, and we are still far from that price most probably, we can’t achieve that easily.
I know whenever the bitcoin price drop drastically ethereum will follow suit but then in the category of altcoins, Ethereum is still the king even though ethereum is under price right now and that is because of the present market conditions. 4k ethereum price may look unrealistic before the end of 2022 but then nothing is impossible in this market anything can happen.

If Ethereum were to recover and make it back to 4K USD by the end of 2022, that would represent an over 170% price increase. While this seems hard to achieve right now, it could very well happen in the long term. Ethereum is in a very enviable position right now, and they are currently the leader in smart contracts, dapps, and other platforms built on top of blockchains. So there are a lot of reasons for optimism about it. But we cannot predict the future. No one can. So do not take this as a guarantee of anything.
1648  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What the pressure for success comes with on: August 22, 2022, 09:57:08 PM
Before the year 2024, I plan to re-strategize to create enough awareness for crypto in my society, create an enabling ground for lectures and solve some problems. Before then, I will keep developing myself intellectually and growing. With the efforts, I have made, if, in a working society, I know what the result could be.

The basic idea behind cryptocurrency is to cut out the middleman (the bank) and for you to control your money. It is not just an investment platform where people buy and hope that the price goes up, it is an entire system of decentralized trust networks. It opens up a whole new dimension of self-determined trading. The best way to get started is to find some friends who knows something about crypto and create a group between 2-10 people, this will help you all in trading together and also gives you an opportunity to discuss with one another which would ultimately help you in deciding whether a coin is viable or not. Always consider placing a portion of your money in proven coins, such as Bitcoin. Those coins have the best chance of retaining or gaining value.

In the end, cryptocurrencies still have a lot to offer. Their use cases are many and their potential is nearly limitless. In other words, there is no reason to be hesitant about getting involved. So do your research, and see where it takes you.

Stalker22, I think you've never even heard of this browser Smiley It is a Chinese 360 Speed Browser, but I do not recommend to install it to your main system. If you understand Russian, here is a thread about this browser. There you can find portable builds, cleaned from unnecessary stuff. Here you can try them. And it has this function.

You are right. I have never heard of it...  Most interesting. I assume the main purpose of this browser is increased privacy?

EDIT:
I found the English version of the site: https://browser.360.cn/se/en.html and https://browser.360.cn/ee/en.html
1651  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is suicide the best option? on: August 21, 2022, 11:26:01 PM
What do you think can be the better option? Your thoughts.

It is really hard to have an opinion or even try to understand it. Around the world, so many people are struggling with unemployment issues and financial problems. As a result, people do not have the ability to provide for their families. What can one do if they cannot even provide a meal for their children? It is really hard to understand how this situation has come about. It seems like there is no hope for them, but there is always hope if you try hard enough.

The world has become a very fast-paced place. People are always on the go, traveling here and there. As a result, they do not have the time to sit down and think about what is really important in life. They are too busy trying to make money and provide for their families. But people should take a step back and look at their lives. They need to realize that it is not all about money, but also about their families and friends. They should not give up. Life is full of ups and downs. It seems that it is always easier to look at the down moments than to look at your positive side. It may seem hard when you are going through some tough times, but every day can be a great day! You just have to get up and see the light. Your life can be better with some determination and a positive attitude. You never know what tomorrow may bring you. The best thing you can do is enjoy each day as if it could be your last.
1652  Economy / Reputation / Re: STAKE.com cant give my money back on: August 21, 2022, 10:57:30 PM
Everyone saying that it is not real because the thief sent the coins to stake. Have you lived IRL?

Everyone says that your story is not true because you are not able to provide convincing enough arguments.

Of course he will send it to stake for 3 reasons:

1. He wants to double the money, he is young and he was never able yet to gamble with bankroll.

2. He doesn't know how to use a crypto wallet but he knows he can send away coins to stake. Unfortunately stake is the most fucked up site for first deposits with their aml policy and wager 1x rule (but most users seem they have no ideea about it even if they are hero/legendary (useless) )

3. He believes he can withdraw to cash from stake.

To summarize, even though he has no experience gambling with the bankroll and does not know how to use a crypto wallet, he managed to steal your laptop, open your Stake.com account, find your LTC deposit address, make a transaction from your unprotected wallet, try to withdraw, and in the end, gamble away almost all the money. Wow, he really learns fast!

But the story sounds real and can happen in reality, everyday. Whoever says that is sounds fake, should receive a ban. It may be fake, may be not the whole truth, but to sound strange? It is a classic 15-21 yrs old kind of stealing.

Nope. Your story sounds like the script for a very bad low-budget indie movie.

Where is the point in having a password on windows? Can be taken down from the phone in seconds.. There is already a crack on windows11 since the first day it was launched

I would love to see some evidence for that.

I didn't know you were being sarcastic, now I met my doctor and he confirmed I have dementia, I'm confused what to do next.

Okay, later we are gonna have a nice little lesson on decoding sarcasm. I may even drop a tutorial with pictures (resized) especially for you.

If u telll truth about everything they dont want this ?
~

When it comes to "truth", I think it is important to understand that your views are not the only ones, and that we do not have all of the answers. That is why I am a big fan of the forum discussions.

They are a great way to hear from other people who have different opinions than you, but they also give you a chance to learn from them and grow your understanding of the topic. You can learn more about why people disagree, and that gives you a better sense of where your own opinions lie. I have been reading a lot lately about how different people have different opinions on various topics, and that is just fine! Think about it: if we all agreed with each other 100% of the time, there would be no point in having any kind of discussion.

It is great practice in learning how to think critically, because it forces you to consider new perspectives and make sure that your own opinion is well-grounded. It also helps make sure that your arguments are well-founded as well, and in this day and age where people are quick to jump on social media to share their opinions on anything, it is important not only for yourself but for everyone else involved that your arguments are well thought out. And the best part? You get to learn from new perspectives and grow as a person in the process!

I don't see anything funny about that. Yes, I need to search for long phrases.

Sorry about that. I meant it as a joke.

And I don't use any extensions. It's a built-in feature in my browser. This feature has no character count settings. It's just a list of search engines in which I can search for the highlighted text. For some reason Google and other search engines look for text of any length, but Ninjastic trims it. So I'm wondering why that's the case.

I am unfamiliar with a web browser that has such functionality out-of-the-box, and the screenshot you provided does not indicate which browser software you are using. Would you mind sharing that information so I can try to reproduce the issue?

I still have a Smerit I can send but you need to create a good post, either topic or trying to fix people's issues online, as far as its related to crypto you are good, do this and I won't be the only one sending merit to your account.

The expectations you place on him are too high. How is he going to make good forum posts now that his account was banned over three months ago?  Grin
