2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 27, 2021, 01:22:20 PM
That is why Twitch prevents underage groups from watching them and some countries are banned Twitch for exactly this reason. It is not about giveaways, the online casinos need fresh money flow which is easy to get with some help from favorite streamers.

The only restriction for gambling related content is if that content is sponsored and streamer are sharing link promotion or refferal codes which can invite new players to gamble because of this streamer promotion link. not because of what you said. CMIIW seems like in twitch right now. its okay to sharing gambling experience as entertainment for viewers but its not okay if the purpose of that video is for promoting such bonus link . ref link.

how big is twitch compare to youtube that did not took out the casino promotion videos of streamers?

there is no way twitch or youtube can stop streamers sharing videos.with reflinks of casinos. those streamers get paid through it, if they disallow these theyd just be moving to a new video sharing sites. this is why there is the need for decentralized social media sites.

while twitch have the rights to do so, streamers can also influence users to stay away from them. myspace ended this way.

2442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend got arrested in a p2p scam on: August 26, 2021, 02:30:24 PM

so your friend basically is the victim here but still got arrested for using BTC which the country declares it illegal. what a tragic situation. this is a very clever scammer. he probably target such user to make transaction with because he knew he is from a country that illegalized BTC.

p2p still needs kyc. you even provide bank details when using p2p platform.
2443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: US House meeting to end privacy, mining and software development in US on: August 26, 2021, 08:28:22 AM
That's the surprising thing, people don't seem to not care about their privacy anymore.

Why are you surprised, the average citizen never cared about privacy! Remember telephone books? A full book with names, addresses, and phone numbers, yet people were fine with it.
How would you feel right now if those were made mandatory again? Trust me after the initial outrage everyone will be fine with them again, for 90% of the world privacy is that annoying shit because of which they have to spend one extra click to set up cookie preferences when visiting a website.

lol i remember that phone book where you just have to look for the name and dial the number.

if Americans don't want to be like China, they better tag Yellen you are against this bill. If she wins because most probably she can bribe every senator and congressman out there,  there goes your freedom. they might even have the social credit system as a plan for you all just like China has.

miners are brokers as law. looks like its made by someone who doesn't understand how this works.

2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you consider living on crypto? on: August 26, 2021, 07:52:33 AM

it's hard to live with crypto only in my country. crypto users will have to convert their coins to fiat before they could spend, there is no way we can spend bitcoin directly since there are only a few stores that accept BTC.

for the people who considers BTC to be an investment, its gonna be hard for them to let go of their BTC. they expect the price to shoot to the moon so why would they spend it when it's going to be worth a lot later.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 26, 2021, 07:04:14 AM
Either Inoue vs Casimero or Casimero vs. Donaire is good. But I am honestly more excited to see Casimero vs Inoue. That would be more explosive. I'd definitely watch that fight and be entertained no matter who turns out the winner.

I'd rather see Donaire vs Casimero first. I like to see Casimero having another match first before entering the final stage which is dealing against Naoya Inoue. We didn't see Casimero at 100% during the fight with Rigo as the latter is always on defense and running mode. And for Donaire, he's no chance for a rematch against Inoue if he won't pass Casimero first to finished the unsettled business.

There will be more good impressions and possibly more recognition if Casimero will pass Donaire first. Winning against Donaire will create a bigger market too for Casimero.
Bottom line, the next match should be just between these 3. If Arum will spoil it and find other boxers instead, which I found there's a chance, we won't know.

Casimero Vs Donaire would be best. Its unification and the first time in the history of Philippine boxing that there will be Pinoy vs Pinoy unifying a world title. Donaire should just forget about that trash talk, it's part of the game now in boxing.

Casimero receives a big approval from a lot of boxing analysts. talagang mag ibubuga ito. among the top fighters in the Philippines, he stands out.

2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: August 24, 2021, 01:43:57 PM

i like lyn alden's insights but she is for long term trading.

ADA seem to be at its peak, i think its about to go down already. i would probably wait for its bottom again before scooping  ADA. its BTC that is going to be a lot higher or it coukd just go sideways for weeks again before breaking out 50k.

2447  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 24, 2021, 01:47:17 AM

nakita ko rin ang post sa facebook. ginu-good luck ng mga crypto guys ang post.

Yes, technically taxable naman talaga kase considered as income naten ito pero with the system that we have right now, I doubt maiimplement nila ito and I'm sure this will take time especially kailangan nila gawin itong batas before they collect such taxes.

Mahihirapan den sila imonitor ito kaya sa tingin ko ay malabo pa ito mangyare pero let's expect that the government will do everything to collect taxes from our crypto profits, mangyayare at mangyayare ito.

Better to stay low key and don’t post anything, marame ren kase ang inggit at baka sila pa ang magsumbong sayo

2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 23, 2021, 01:06:19 AM
If I just add my .10 worth of sat on Manny's performance and what could be the reason that he losses to an underdog here:

1. old age/Father Time - inevitable, every athlete needs to retire

2. ring rust - out for two years

3. not enough time to prepare for a replacement fighter - no game plan for Ugas, just go there and do your best

4. overtrain - he took extra rounds because he is anticipating a fight with Spence

5. Ugas at the prime of his career

This is not an excuse. Just finding out the possible reason.

Yes, I do agree with the reasons here. As much as we love to see Manny fights in his late 40's, I guess father time has caught up with him. Regarding ring rust, he said that he is hungry after not fighting in 2 years, but that's a long layoff and eventhough he is very active outside of boxing, I think it is very different.

In any case, we have witness one of the greatest boxer of our generations, just sad that he has to go out like in a losing form. Next up for Manny is his political career.

Call it an excuse because Manny said in an interview last night was that he can't move his legs. But Manny in his 40s still fights the boxer in his prime is already a plus for Ugas.  When De la Hoya fight with Pacquiao, he knew he didn't think of losing but it's just Pacquiao is his prime that when De la Hoya sees a punch coming he also couldn't avoid them and that's because the agility declines due to old age.

For Pacquiao's political career, he knew this fight could help him having a hero's welcome but now that it won't happen he might not push for the presidency. It was a mistake from the start to listen to the opposition who has no capability to win against the party of a populist president Duterte.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and interest rates and defi yielding gains on: August 22, 2021, 05:27:44 PM

defi is the future they say. but don't put all your trust to exchange, there had been many instances that they are hacked or some had even shut down and for $500k to be stored there is a major setback when all you did was sold your properties in exchange for this big holding you have. just try doing it on your own wallet.

32 eth as fast as i know is what is needed for staking ETH. i'd not be sleeping comfortably with $500k at risk that is not in my own wallet with the private key with me.
2450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting Or Gambling ? on: August 22, 2021, 04:06:49 PM

it's the same for anyone who engages in gambling in card games or sports betting has the same outlook of risk, it only differs from how much they are willing to risk. sports betting however could be much entertaining even when you lose because you get to watch and enjoy the game with more excitement than without having a bet. you don't feel the same when you play cards online but if doing it right where you can hold the cards and engage with players, the excitement is there.
2451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 21, 2021, 03:40:57 PM
trading today is a lot harder actually than what it was back in 2016 where only a few people spread fuds and they are just invented by the people in the forum but these are also the people who set up buy and sell walls on the exchanges. times change with bigger community.

people doubt you when you have not achieved anything. they only notice you when you become productive. get your kid a monitor for a chart to analyze because he could be your best hope to trade along with the pump and dump groups.
2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: August 21, 2021, 02:49:15 PM

if you are one of the johnny-come-lately but still have the billions to invest in crypto, you still could be rich but perhaps not the richest through Bitcoin. there is a way like having your own crypto exchange and make it popular than binance, then it's possible to accumulate BTC through your exchange. this method will probably make you spend millions too and getting homeless might be the result if you can't make it popular than binance.

why not just limit your expectation like, you get richer than what you are once you invest in BTC. it's more attainable.
2453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which was your worst crypto trading decision? on: August 21, 2021, 02:20:17 PM
Bought Etc 3 months ago at $30 sold at 35$ it went $180 24 hours after i sold Cheesy feelsbadman  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

damn that's a sharp climb.

we almost have an opposite experience with altcoins. selling too early and when i realize it was too early i bought back because the price keeps going up but after the buy, the price drops. when you trade base on the blogs you thought are credible, you end up losing your funds. what you are doing is let them manipulated you into their scheme of pump and dump especially if you trade altcoins. after losing a substantial amount, i decide to refocus and just stick to BTC because the charts reflect clearer than trading altcoin's chart.

2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 21, 2021, 01:39:51 PM
It will not matter how many times Casimero will show his middle finger because he did not have a good performance in his latest win. Nonito Donaire however, he shocked everyone in his latest win. I reckon that is a very good argument on why Nonito should be next.

Also, I read some replies that Inoue should be careful vs. Casimero hehe. How can you say this after his performance vs. Rigondoeux. Casimero showed poor boxing skills and was made into a chasing clown.

"Styles makes a fight", I'm not depending Casimero but though he looks bad on that fight against Rigo, he was doing a better job if we compare Donaire against Rigo six years ago if I'm not mistaken. If you put Inoue in front of Casimero then expect fireworks as both boxers would love to slug it out.

Casimero will not stop taunting Inoue until the latter have signed the contract because this could be the biggest purse of his colorful career.

That's absolutely right, there's no other boxer that could give him a good purse than Inoue, so he will talk shit anytime he wants so the monster will feel disrespected and will trigger to arrange a fight, and he did just the right thing because his strategy was effective, however, confirmation is necessary before we celebrate and that is the contract signing.

agree with that as well. casimero does want a fight that will really show their strength by pounding each other. you'll see it is his previous fights which is also what inoue wants. naturally, casimero has to chase when his opponent runs if it's their strategy just as rigo did. rigo successfully evade knockout which he could say a victory in that part. but i think there could be a knockout if they both just frenzied.
2455  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥|Best Crypto iGaming Platform with Profit Sharing Payouts! 💸 on: August 20, 2021, 05:31:54 AM

my country is rarely excluded from any crypto token offering nor a casino. it did confuse me when i saw the photos as it looks bet365 but this is btc365. this is still like the staking casino token, there is not anything different to others like betfury.  we have invested in to same projects as well.

can you tell us the price per token at least here in the forum and what made you think your casino will succeed?

2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on a sobar reflection mode. on: August 20, 2021, 04:40:19 AM
price will go up back again to its previous at $64k. whatever happens in between $30k to climb up again to $64k, it's somewhere lies to what traders and holders do when there is news coming out. when the price drops to $3k in 2019, the Bitcoin believers are already thinking of more than $20k. if you are one of them then just observe what bitcoin companies and institutions do and not what they are saying.

2457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: August 20, 2021, 03:31:12 AM

volatility is not a feature of Bitcoin, it's just the many are speculating the currency and many will buy because of its rarity and people will also sell because of the enormity of the profit. if you are a trader you will look at it mostly as an advantage but if you are a holder you will be regretful if you are not going to sell before a bear market. therefore a disadvantage only if you don't profit.

the long-term holders though are confident of buying more which they don't see volatility as a disadvantage.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. Government's $10 Million Reward on: August 20, 2021, 01:18:02 AM
found this one https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-ransomware-us-rewards/31361313.html

US accuses Russia of the cyberattacks recently which they said they have evidence but in the interview of Putin, they only cited reports from the media. Putin had also challenged them to provide evidence. US giving rewards to those who can track only shows they are not really sure of their accusation.

$10M will be a big amount that white hackers will really want to. should the trackers ask for escrow?
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 19, 2021, 09:56:05 PM
Things are getting better and better on Casimero.

Casimero on doping as he pushes for title fight

Quote
LAS VEGAS – Now it’s Naoya Inoue who’s stalking Johnriel Casimero.

The undefeated world bantamweight champion raised the issues surrounding doping and weight management should a fight with the outspoken Filipino is finally made.

Inoue, 28, again took to social media in following up on his earlier demand to arrange a fight with Casimero, hopefully before the end of the year.

“Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing,” said the reigning WBA and IBF bantamweight champion.

The tide has changed, Inoue is now more aggressive in making this fight happen.

We might see a great fight this year, and hopefully, there's no hindrance to it.
Great! I read somewhere that bob arum said that it will depend on Inoue's camp if they'll going to take the fight against Donaire, but seems that Inoue is more interested in fighting Casimero.

That social media thing that Casimero did really gather the full attention of Inoue's camp, for sure even the international medias already notice this news regarding to Inoue's showing his interest to fight the Pinoy champ!

Now we are just waiting for the final talk and the date once everything got settled between these two camps.

i have some doubts about casimero before but this time his swearing works to turn the tide. its yet not finally I've checked some articles where they both respond to tweets which its all still up to arum. there is no reason for arum to no approve this fight if both are up for it. i guess casimero will get a big fight after all to make more money and donaire is out of the picture now.

2460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: August 19, 2021, 08:27:59 AM
According to my opinion, Bitcoin cannot replace the physical currency as the governments of countries will not allow to use it as digital currency. Also, it is a decentralized currency. If the bitcoin is used as a world currency , then it will also affect the people's income.

a country will not give up their currency but Bitcoin can be used alongside with the digital currencies that they're now developing. it's not gonna affect the income of the people whether they are paid in BTC or digital fiat, is the same thing. it will only affect if they are not going to spend it cause they may see BTC as an investment like we do today.
