1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Satoshi Nakamoto's Identity?? on: December 14, 2022, 03:35:51 PM
Lol. How would a cartel become Satoshi? and if he was a cartel what's his purpose in creating Bitcoin? To use it to run his cartel? what are the people thinking right now? You would still convince me if what they are claiming is something like a developer or engineer but a cartel? It needs technical skills to create or invent something like Bitcoin or Ethereum and I don't think cartels would waste time to something that they aren't sure if it going to be success or not.

holy crap and we want satoshi to win a noble prize. now way! lol

but why would you believe a a druglord who only care to profit and bang women can actually program such innovation that the cryptographers have been trying to get a breakthrough of that doublespending for years can only be solved by a methhead?  i wanna sniff what Paul Le Rous was sniffing.

1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 14, 2022, 03:16:20 PM
if the tip goes to the casino's chat/rep support BTC wallet maybe the gambler will consider tipping. sure its not compulsory.

in my country, its not also compulsory to give tips but i guess a person gives to impress lookers. here, tips are centralized which all employees are going to get their tips which is divided and shared for all to receive when they day is over.  unless no one see when you slide the $20 bill inside the employees pocket that makes it his/her own.
1463  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: December 14, 2022, 03:07:25 PM

1464  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: December 14, 2022, 03:10:23 AM

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 12) — Old and new mobile phone users must register their SIM or subscriber identification module beginning Dec. 27 under new rules issued in line with the law.
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Registration Act on Monday.

Existing users have six months to register the SIM or it will be deactivated. Owners of deactivated SIM have only five days to register and reactivate.
New SIMs sold will remain deactivated until end-users complete the process of registration.
The registration must be done electronically through a secure platform or website to be provided by the telecommunication companies to their subscribers.

Users will be asked to give some personal information like complete name, birthdate, sex, and address. They must also provide a copy of an identification card.
The IRR also states that any information and data obtained in the registration must be treated as absolutely confidential and shall not be disclosed to any person.

Telcos may disclose the full name and address of an end-user only in four instances:

*in compliance with any law obligating the telcos to disclose such information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act;
*in compliance with a court order or legal process upon finding of probable cause;
*in compliance with a subpoena issued by a competent authority pursuant to an investigation that a specific mobile number, was or is being used in the commission of a crime; and
*with the written consent of the subscriber.

"The confidentiality clause in the SIM registration shall take effect at the point of activation and shall continue even after deactivation of the SIM and for as long as the end-user's data is still retained by the PTEs (public telecommunication entity),” the IRR stated.

“For this purpose, the point of activation shall mean the time when the concerned PTE receives the required data or information from the registering subscriber/end-user," it added.

Fines and jail time await violators of the law.

1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education programs should cover Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. on: December 13, 2022, 04:48:23 PM
time will come one day that it will be added by schools but not really a requirement. there are college courses probably that will cover blockchain probably computer science. not necessarily Bitcoin. its the blockchain that is more important to learn for the students to prepare for this industry and what could be blockchain's use in the future.

advertising BTC will be for the school's cost when they offer the course.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 13, 2022, 04:07:09 PM
more precisely if I win big from gambling then I will become an investor for several crypto companies, because if on the other hand I have a lot of money as an investor then playing gambling it will spend my money every time, so playing gambling until you win big then becoming an investor will look wiser, BTW I think that child is just a gamer and not a gambler because true gamblers usually still have time to socialize with outsiders while people who are busy being gamers are more likely to be engrossed in their room  Wink

i can see that as well. most of the gamers who  stays in front of the computer 247 often just wanna sit wearing reading glass with a grade of 3.5+.
a gamer will have a set of friends a like who contributes more of their gaming experience and when exposed to BTC or crypto, they may end up playing the P2E games and not Bitcoin Casinos.

i consider myself an investor but sometimes also gamble. learned to gamble along the way.
1467  Economy / Services / Re: [Hiring Paid Testers] Testing our new Casino Platform on: December 13, 2022, 03:55:24 PM

i'm also ready for this. so why not just send the $80 directly to the btc address of the testers and add $20 to the accounts. not everyone will just sign up to CoinsPaid for the platform that we are not aware to be trustworthy.

there will be more testers going to join, with this approach and guarantees that it will build your reputation as well.
1468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The FED pivot? on: December 13, 2022, 03:41:04 PM
Guys there's an update from US, The CPI data just came in lower than expected!! (7.3% expected vs 7.1% actual)! Bullish for markets!
This means the Fed will definitely not raise interest rates by 75bps this time, the tightening policies are working out finally. This time maybe 50bps and soon to 25bps in the upcoming months to come?!
BTC will rock to 30k with ease imo if fed pivots or even slows down with those nasty hikes ! 🙂

we can only hope in the next press con of Pal. a lot of users above are doubting this could happen. but one thing is for sure about this raising interest rate, people hate it. they are tired of having 2-3 jobs to meet ends. the news about 7.1% is believed to have made this BTC price to roll up.

meanwhile crypto congress committee is about to take place related to FTX investigation and its not normal to see BTC price go up instead while they are attacking cryptocurrency. FED is happy to see SBF in prison and not able to testify to congress. yay! and for holders to be happy as well, they better low interest rate too. double yay!
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whales.bet -Decentralized Bitcoin Prediction Market running on Bitcoin sidechain on: December 12, 2022, 03:30:15 PM
It says here on the forum and on your website that you are a "trustless blockchain-based web application". Is this a mistake or is your application really trustless? That is, your application cannot be trusted? How can you use an application that cannot be trusted?

"Trustless" is a common term used here for decentralised. A platform that requires zero input from 3rd parties and only the users input is trustless because there is nobody that you need to trust to execute in the way you intend.

I do agree though, it's confusing because it also can mean not trustworthy

the user is an old user in crypto. he knows what trustless mean in crypto.

by the way, you have to connect your metamask to see the page loads. but after clicking, its just taking a long time. a minute past its still FETCHING BET... there really is an issue to it and i'm not using TOR.

after many issues, i already doubt about that 1:1 BTC on some wrap system.
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are responsible for the bear run on: December 12, 2022, 02:55:11 PM
there have been a lot of theories and conspiracy with FTX so that must have influenced people to see him the bogey man in crypto while acting like the savior after bailing out blockfi, celsius and etc.

every body buys his image during that time but according to wallstreet journal, FTX or SBF was actively trying to depegged USDT. that's one heck of a villain. although we hate USDT, what he did is something that will crumble the market. he could be doing more of this before this attempt.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 12, 2022, 02:11:09 AM
Seeing the same, in the place where i live, government officials are also participating, especially those police who love this gambling. Gamblers are free to play since they are heavily protected.

Police professionals here in our country are not allowed to participate in any form of gambling, especially in gambling like cockfighting.

That was prohibited because it might lead to self-interest and abuse. It will lead to kicking on the service permanently.

You will never see police here playing that gambling game that's why as much as possible they are hiding their identities just to play this gambling game.

i think it only apply if the police officers are wearing uniform and are on duty but if not, they can participate in betting on cockfight arena. most of the time events like these happens far away from the police stations. we can only notice there is a cockfighting going on when tricycles cram in a remote cite.
1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: December 11, 2022, 05:16:41 PM
Did Russia really introduced a single sanction against other country since Feb 2022 ? Never heard of that.
When they shut off the valve to their gas pipelines going towards Europe or when they stopped grains shipments, etc. that is also a form of a sanction without branding it.

I have read several analysts' predictions and most believe that Russia will win the oil price ceiling war and that European sanctions will backfire.
Like any war, this energy war result is also not possible to predict. There are battles in this war that West wins and some battles that East wins while the war is not yet over.
Considering that so far the oil producing countries are working together and reduce production and keep the price up, the chances of Eastern Bloc winning is higher.

P.S. The recent disruptions in China which is one of the biggest buyers of oil has helped the price dump recently. We've to wait and see how their comeback and their big buys (specially after the recent visit to Saudi Arabia) is going to affect the market.

not selling to countries who participated in the gas ceiling is one of the Russia's sanction. more like a retaliation to that gas cap.
its why it doesn't make sense blowing up the pipeline going to Europe when they could just shut the valve. but now that its blown, EU have no choice anymore. they could make a deal still if they have that pipe operating again.

EU in between suffer the cold winter and economic collapse as well as Russia not able to make money from the west and isolated.
they could really escalate this to WW3 while not using nukes but they didn't. this is just prolonging the suffering of the people.
1473  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: December 11, 2022, 04:53:52 PM
Corrupt people exist in all walks of life. These people commit fraud by exploiting the weaknesses of novices. For example, someone who is after making easy money will surely become a prey to these people. These two groups attract each other like magnets. Therefore, such problems will never end. In addition, persistently using centralized systems will always cause us to encounter such problems. These problems are inherent in life. I think the important thing is to protect ourselves and continue to tell the truth to the people around us.

That's right, things like that never end. If we control our greed, then no one can corrupt and cheat us and we should not blame them when we have greed like them. Just like you and me, if we weren't greedy, we wouldn't be in this market. The financial market is a market where there are winners and losers. If you can't stand it, then leave the market. When you lose, don't expect anyone's help because when you win, we don't share that reward with anyone.

it gets worse when the people from high places participates on the corruption. they are greedier because they know they are protected like above the law.

in FTX fiasco alone there are tons of them who are collaborating even when they are exposed on tv. kevin oleary for example is abut to turn the tables. he was paid $15M to be the spokesperson for FTX and will probably blame CZ for the fall of FTX. SBF wasn't even investigated while Caroline Ellison freely walks around. no action taken.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use? on: December 11, 2022, 04:31:41 PM
I recently played a slot game named "Wanted dead or a wild", on Livecasino.io and I so much liked it because of the great soundtrack the game had. I have asked here if anyone has an idea the origin of the songs used in slot games, there was no definite answer, so I am bringing it up here for general discussion.

Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use in their game development? Are soundtracks made specifically for every game (that will be an extra budget) or do they use selected already existing soundtracks and just pay the creators some royalty for using it?
Every possible thought as to how they get their music is plausible. Technology has made everything you almost dream possible as per composition, integration and adaptation of sound to fit a concept of spin or casino theme, very possible.
The music could be composed if they can afford an orchestra, it could be gotten from game music sites which offer a variety of sounds to pick from. It could also be gotten by using a creators sound and paying royalties. It depends on what the directors agree upon at the end of the day.
The aim of the music is to captivate the users to stick around more.

there are already digital music creator today, one would not need an orchestra to create one. everything is digital like techno music, all you need is arrange the beat and add some components to it. for the Wanted dead or a wild,  its great composition that fits for wild west but doesn't sound very country.

but i think staker is right about music libraries of the game developers. a full package offer for casino business.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Evolution Gaming - Free Bet Blackjack on: December 11, 2022, 03:53:11 PM
I play this type of blackjack on infinite mode. The only thing I hate on this blackjack type was the draw when dealer bust on 22. You should add this info on the thread because this is the major disadvantage of this game in exchange for all those free bets given. However Blackjack can still win even with dealer bust at 22 but the chance for dealer to bust at 22 is very high and really frustrating if you have successful double down and split then deal just bust at 22 to tie the game.

This game can makes player more greedy due to potential free bet and frustrated at the same time when draw at bust.

The new variation for this blackjack type is good base on the points that you mention but I will still keep away on this Blackjack type because free bet is not frequently happening. The repercussion of bust @ 22 is still painful.

technically you can always split but its not worth doing. but if free split the better for you, the seconds hand is like the free money you bet.
there is old and new rules for blackjack where you are allowed to split or not.

what could be the disadvantage when its automatically offered?
1476  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEX with orderbook on: December 10, 2022, 06:39:14 PM

you can check it out in this list where it says orderbook type https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/dex/  dydx i think it the top option since you only want to trade ETH.

you could actually just use swap after all what you wanna trade is ERC20 compare to real BTC/USDT which means an order book that has real BTC. there are several dex that you don't have to receive wrapBTC or the likes of it.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambing Halal or Haram According to Jewish Or Christian Faith? on: December 10, 2022, 05:45:04 PM

we all know within our self that gambling is not something to be proud of but its now a way to show your success to friends though.
its not enjoyable to see yourself watching sports on tv without something to expect if your team won.

are we going to stop gambling if the bible and quran says gambling is forbidden?  lets just ask forgiveness after winning.  Grin
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport Event Can Increase Our Money By Placing A Bet on: December 10, 2022, 04:41:58 PM

i rarely bet on worldcup and just lost the small trial amount. i'd rather stay with local basketball or the boxing than the fifa as i'm not aware of who to bet except reading the picks of the users.

comparing the normal days with worldcup, i think more users are going to keep betting especially the people from a country that participates the football sport.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2022, 05:43:01 PM
many of the kids in the 2021 bull run feels independent when they were playing Axie infinity earning $5000 a month. the party goes on every night with champagnes and then the music stops, everybody quits playing and back to asking mommy again.

to become independent, you would have to maintain the earnings to pay the bills or they'll cut line. yep interesting country wherever you may be. i'd love to be there too.
1480  Other / Archival / Re: Harsh crypto winter for all categories of crypto users on: December 09, 2022, 05:26:42 PM
Interesting statistics, especially on the layoffs, there is absolutely zero buzz about so many employees being laid off by these big exchanges, reasons are obvious, these are hired in bullish times when volumes on exchanges are high and therefore the work is too much as well, infact most of them are on bench as exchanges are earning good, once the earnings of exchanges go down and the quantum of work goes down these staffs are laid off.

even if its reported on news websites, only the people in crypto will notice this which is less than the 5% of the people on earth. but if twitter or amazon lays off, everybody has to be scared of the coming recession.

or perhaps these employees are indeed only hired during the bull run. they could be just contract jobs to last 3 months to which they are from upwork.
