2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 28, 2022, 03:56:25 AM
It will be a great fight tbh, so let's hope this match will happen in the future. Actually as of the moment most of the information are just rumours and click bait around the internet, but soonest for sure they will implement the fight between these two good fighters. And surely the most interesting fight..

This fight between Spence Jr and Crawford is confirmed to setup in Las Vegas in this year. Although the venue has been revealed by Crawford but the date of this fight has not been finalized yet. Boxing fans are desperate to see this fight and I hope the date will be revealed soon.

The title fight between Spence Jr and Crawford is set for Las Vegas

Is this official though? I checked most boxing forums and I can't find this news most of them are still in the speculation phase.

So for now, I'll just have to wait for the official announcement from either boxer or Spence promotional company. It's good if we get it from the horse mouth itself, just saying.
No official announcement has been made yet. So for now its just a speculation, though Crawford and Spence are open and agreed for this fight to happen.

Anyway many fans are waiting for this fight. Both boxers are excellent, (Spence as an amazing boxer while Crawford as an accurate puncher) and no history of losses yet. Thus they're really match to fight each other and see who will dominate the ring.

It seems though that this fight might be pure speculation for now as there are no updates whatsoever and no sources can confirm or deny if this fight is going to happen or not.

So it will be a waiting game, but in case that anyone is interested on the numbers that Spence vs Ugas did:

Quote
The show marked Spence’s third appearance at the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, minutes from his hometown. It generated a live gate of $5,000,260 from 37,022 tickets sold according to the final Promoter Tax Report filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a copy of which was obtained by BoxingScene.com.

https://www.boxingscene.com/errol-spence-yordenis-ugas-generates-5000260-live-gate-from-37022-ticket-sold--166555

I guess that is huge numbers, it's just the live gate, excluded is the PPV numbers.

Quote
Final pay-per-view figures were never released for the event, though the most optimistic projections indicate just north of 250,000 units sold.

But the live gates itself solidify Spence status as one of the stars in this welterweight division.
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $25K the bottom? on: May 28, 2022, 03:06:18 AM
Many people believe that $ 25k is not the bottom price this year, some even predicted to drop below $ 20k, but whatever happens I am optimistic that Bitcoin has the potential to skyrocket again, it has been proven that Bitcoin can skyrocket when there is a difficult situation in the year 2014 and 2018.
While it makes sense that people are worried about the potential bitcoin still has to keep going down, at the same time we need to see this not as some sort of crisis but as an opportunity, it is very unlikely that once the next halving comes and we see yet another bull run that we are going to see a price as low as the one we are seeing right now, so if possible we need to take advantage of the low price so we can reduce the average price we paid for our bitcoin while at the same time we increase our holdings as much as possible.

The next bitcoin halving will be the catalyst, no question about that. Well, yeah it make sense for people to worried this early because of the bear market, but it is what it is. We all know that this is going to happen so we should prepare ourselves at least in the beginning of 2022. And then once you prepared yourself, you will have to think of a strategy, and that is continue to buy at every dip even if it is not the floor price. Because the potential for profits will almost be there, no matter what price you buy during a bear market.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 28, 2022, 02:15:41 AM
I agree! However, he shouldn't take Vargas lightly because the man is also a decent fighter and have a much good experience than him but when it comes to KO capabilities, no doubt Magsayo have that advantage. He should relax, yes but not to rest himself, but in-order to focus more and ensure his victory while training hard. He must believe himself that he can do this because this fight will determine his future in the boxing industry, also, he have coach Freddie Roach to guide him along the way to success.

Magsayo surely already knows that and will never take Vargas lightly. His opponent is even considered a slight favorite. Magsayo 100% understands that he is up against a good and tough challenger. He won't reach his current status right now if on the way, he always looked easy at all of his opponents.

We always want to see a tough fight against our representative. A fight where we can see lots of exchange blows and until the final bell rings, we don't know who will be the winner at the end. That's a good fight to watch instead of a landslide one.

Well, that's right because I don't even recall that Magsayo was an arrogant or boast that he can defeat each player in his way. Honestly, I find Magsayo different from others even though he lacks something but I know he can make up for it and he's improving throughout the years.

Exchanging of blows? I bet we can see something like that as I know Magsayo won't back down for nothing, I wanted to see Vargas challenging Magsayo to bring the best of him.

Magsayo is a brawler so if he gets hit for sure he will also throw some at Vargas and see who's chin are going to break or hold on that exchanges. Mark also has some decent speed with power so he is willing to trade punches even if he gets tag along the way, at least he also gives some.

He is not arrogant, most Filipino boxers are, maybe that's who they are brought up, and majority of Filipino boxers started from nothing but they can dream big like Pacman. They just need to stay focus on those dreams and not to get the success on their head.
2444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: May 28, 2022, 01:48:48 AM
Did anyone see the face to face?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9B95lTsl0g

Both are throwing insults at each other and it's so hilarious. Davis seems to not take Romero seriously, but we will see what Romero can do to him in the fight.

LOL at Romero saying that this is going to be Broner vs Maidana 2 wherein he called Broner the big brother of Davis. And Rolly will be Maidana who totally whopped Broner's ass in that fight.  Grin

I predict for this fight to be something very similar to Muhammad Ali versus Ernie Terrell where Ali was telling Terrel in the ring to say my name while boxing him for the whole fight. It also appears that much of the sportsbooks do not want to give odds for rounds range and rounds betting if over or under hehehe. Tank to win with a knockout is the only best offer with odds of only 1.27.

In any case, in what round does everyone speculate Tank knocks out Romero?

In sixth rounds for me, I would say that this could be one of Davis easiest fight in years. So in the end, he will get the knock out here and it will not get to the judges scorecard.

I also don't think that Rolly Romero will be a threat, sure he might be a great fighter in the future. But Davis has faced a lot of champions and knock them out. Romero is not even a champion and his resume is not that good and hasn't face a good and complete boxer in Tank Davis.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 28, 2022, 01:06:52 AM
But as we all know, he has lived with his left hook so this will still be his main weapon against Inoue. Maybe though he has regained his confidence back after losing because he was able to make a huge comeback and win back to back and score a knock out against young fighters.

Those two wins that Donaire established after losing to Inoue play a big reason why he got his confidence back. If he loses even at one of those previous fights, there will be no chance for an Inoue rematch. Even if we can't compare the strength of those previous boxers that Donaire beat to Inoue, it's a good reference that Donaire still has it.

Looking forward to our Donaire winning. We know the big difference between them but upset always has a chance to happen.

Right, it boosted his confidence again, and that's why the promoters are also willing to put him in line with Inoue because of that big win, knocking out Oubaali and then Gaballo respectively.

As far as improvement goes, Donaire has the perfect plan in their first fight, it's that the is hesitant in the beginning that's why Inoue has built a good lead from him. Maybe in the second fight, he will come out the aggressor.
2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: May 27, 2022, 07:15:14 AM
Im holding. Not just holding, but also buying more bitcoin. People selling at dips and fomo buying at highest price all fools. Everytime it goes down everyone gets worried its going to zero. So they dont buy when they should be buying.  I dont think bitcoin will ever go to zero. Some altcoins future got erased with this tho.
It is nice to see that there are some people that get it, it is true the price of bitcoin can go down from time to time but if we look at the charts we see that on average the price of bitcoin only does one thing and that is to go up, so to buy it when its price is at the low side is without a doubt a good choice, now the price may get even lower than the current levels but for someone that is determined to hold their coins for the long term such a thing should not matter at all.

Go up in bull market, and then the opposite happens in a bear market which we have right now. Nevertheless, there are still a lot of opportunities in both market. Like buying in the bear cycle and then wait for the next bull run because as you have said, eventually the price is going to increased  and will it go up massively and hitting another all time high every 4 years. So it's a good strategy to fill our wallets in a bear market and simply hold as long as we can.
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 27, 2022, 06:31:04 AM
I remember watching the first game wherein the game resulted in a draw, though I do think that Canelo deserved that win.

On game 2, both of Canelo and GGG showed tremendous talent wherein GGG had this steel chin. Despite all the powerful shots that Canelo threw, GGG will not fall on the ground and he continued to fight like nothing happened. Though the game ended with Canelo winning, I think a draw was sufficient and equal on that match.

Now that the trilogy will finally happen, I hope that this fight will be more convincing compared to all the previous fights that it left everyone with their own opinions on who won on that match.

There will be no plan for a trilogy if Canelo looks really considered by many to dominate GGG in their previous match. GGG never questioned the results but the boxing community and analysts are. That's the reason why the idea of having the trilogy didn't get buried for years even though GGG is now almost 40 years of age and close to retirement.

There are lots of good fights waiting for Canelo but still, many are demanding that a fight with GGG should happen. It's because they think results from a Decision are crap and the true winner of their fight should be decided in Knock Out.

Exactly, many boxing pundits thinks that GGG won the first fight, and the second is very close as well. That's why the trilogy story didn't die and fans wanting it to see. And now it's materialized even though GGG is now almost 40 years old. But it's rather late than never, if Canelo won't give in, then maybe once both retires, there could be arguments as to who is really the best and this fight will be the decider.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 27, 2022, 05:46:16 AM
Is Haney called the second Floyd Mayweather? Haney is still learning the philly shell. I reckon he is not as skilful as Floyd Mayweather with this defensive style. Watch the replay of Haney versus Jorge Linares. Haney was not as quick to avoid the punches when he went into a shell and bended to his right side.
It's not only on philly shell, but his play style is similar with Mayweather, but Haney is just the slow version. I watched Haney often hug his opponent on purpose, walking away in the ring and giving surprise punches when the opponent didn't expect it, that's what Mayweather do. The only difference I see between them is Haney doesn't confident to play  in the corner and not have really good head movements.

So what's your prediction on this fight? Are you with Haney or Kambasos?

If he is not as fast as Mayweather, then we can expect that Kambasos will have a decent chance of winning the fight, because aside from being a good counter puncher, and aggressive boxer, he is also fighting in his home country.

For now it's really hard to see who will win, and even if Haney is the favorite, he will be boxing without his father on his side, so this is a big negative in my opinion.

On the other hand, George will be comfortable fighting at his native country, and has all the advantage in his favor. But Haney is known to be a technical fighter and this could be Kambosos weaknesses. If Haney is a brawler like Teofimo Lopez, then maybe George can impose his will. But if Haney play it safe and make it a very technical fight, Kambosos might find it difficult to adjust.

Live Right Now there is an interesting match between Sinner vs Carballes Baena.
First Set was win by the Spanish, but in the second set Sinner has made a break point just now (3-2 current score).
Odds are not the best (I have seen @1.30 in stake.com) but it's always interesting for this match...

Medvedev won 3:0 against Djere, and showing best tennis so far, but Rublev and Tsitsipas should be favorites against him in eventual matches

Tsitsipas though has to eventually make another huge comeback, Kolar can't convert a for set points in the fourth set to force a fifth and eventually Tsitsipas won the tie break.

Yeah, Medvedev is really playing very well in clay, Nadal and Djokovic will have their match later, and I don't expect anything funny going to happen against them.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEWO just got rug pulled on: May 26, 2022, 08:00:03 AM
Oh crap, so another project suddenly disappeared, sold of their crypto's and then left without any trace. For sure there could be another project in the horizon who are going to do this stunt again. So we might as well get the profits if you have invested on such shitcoins right now and don't wait till they pulled this kind of scam. And this is another big lessons for everyone to really get out while they can because it's hard to know who are the scammers and who's here for real.
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Bullish Trend Line? on: May 26, 2022, 06:46:22 AM
Hold your nerves because I feel that bitcoin is breaking the 30K barrier multiple times and hard to hold the above line while its constantly touching 28K and jumping to mid 29K. So it means we are reaching the last quarter cycle and soon we may expect below 25k even too the level of 21K.

And this could be a bad sign for us, if it continue to do trade in a sideway patterns without forming any trend lines. But now it's obvious that we are in a bearish line, so most likely if this pattern breaks then it could for the worst and get to $25,000-$26,000 range. And if that happens, then others might quit crypto for good, weak hands selling because they don't like what they are seeing. So again, why not take this as a chance to buy affordable bitcoin, IMHO.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: May 26, 2022, 06:14:19 AM
While browsing my Facebook feed I just saw this feed, Romero thinks he is the most explosive boxer in the history of boxing and when asked how he is going to be successful on Gervonta Davis, this guy just says Tank is easy to hit and their's no way he could not beat him.
His team is feeding him crap I don't know if this is just s strategy or really coming from his heart, this guy should be knocked out, so he'll wake up in the reality that he is not the most explosive boxer in the history of boxing, the guy doesn't know anything about boxing history.

https://www.facebook.com/ShowtimeBoxing/videos/502243731696012/

don't worry, he can always say anything he wants but the real action will be inside the ring. now, if he will lose, either he will protest that the judges are not fair or accept defeat and not be arrogant anymore. some boxers really do have high regards with themselves, to the point that they do not see the reality of things. Grin
we have seen these countless times, sometimes it is also their way of attracting the boxing world. if there's something to talk about, the better for their fight as it will give them more revenue because people would purchase the fight just to see him lose. lol

Yeah, this kind is too confident, reminds of of Teo Lopez, who is so brandish and talks a lot of about himself, about how good he is etc etc.. but then he got smothered by Kambosos LOL. And up to this day, he can't accept this defeat to George.

So we might see another one of this fighters that will be humbled (hopefully), when they got their first L. It could be he is hyping the fight, the problem is that no one really knows him so I doubt that a boxing fans will want to watch. Maybe they are going to buy tickets just to see how Tank will destroy this wannabee.
2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 26, 2022, 04:11:15 AM
At least Canelo making the good decision of giving us fans the needed trilogy instead of fighting Bivol again.

A good decision but not because of the fans. It was because if he will fight Bivol again, he might finally end up losing again. Haven't you noticed how silent Canelo is after he loses? If he really thinks he can go a win against Bivol in a rematch, he will surely be vocal about it. There's hesitation because he knows to himself he can't handle the underdog Bivol for the 2nd time. Cheesy

Instead, he chooses to fight against the older GGG and stick with the supposed original plan if he wins against Bivol. He thinks he can handle easily that old guy plus awaiting big money that will be generated by this match instead of fighting Bivol in a rematch.

At least though, we will see this fight even it's kinda late.

Of course, maybe he was just advise by his team not to take Bivol as this point because he will end up losing the fight again. And the fans is wanting to see this fight being made, so even if he came for a big L, he can still go and fight Canelo. And maybe the real money is with this trilogy and he knows that their fans are going to buy the ticket even if this is going to be expensive as they are eager to see the third fight.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 26, 2022, 02:49:36 AM
What a great comeback by Alcaraz against compatriot Ramos-Vinolas. I thought it will be a breeze for him after winning the first set 6-1. But then Ramos-Vinolas, gets into the zone, and couple of Alcaraz missed drop shots, he was able to win the next two set. And then Alcaraz, save a match point in the fourth and win on the tie break. Then on the 5th, he was down 3-0 if I'm not mistaken with superb back hand pass and win the set 6-4.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: May 25, 2022, 12:35:01 PM
While the market is on a downward trend, Bitcoin the giant of the crypto market has seen a drastic drop, and other altcoins followed the same trend, will we be able to recover, another coin like Luna did a total crash which is so bad for investors. In this scenario, can we still trust a high and unpredictable volatile I investment such as altcoin in this bear season?

I guess there are still some good solid projects that you can 'trust' and invest right now, specially in the top 5 or at least 10 altcoins. But remember, just invest what you can afford to lose as their is a huge risk involved.

The Terra Luna might be the biggest bust of the year though and it  really put a lot of strain on the altcoin market. Nevertheless, since we are in a bear market, this might be the right now to invest because they are so cheap and then just HODL and wait for the next bull run and hopefully your invested money will multiply in the coming years.
2457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: May 25, 2022, 11:28:36 AM
Theres a 50 - 50 chance of getting profit in copy trading, as the people you copy might trade with a wrong direction thus might put your investment into liquidation. I would suggest to invest also in trading knowledge, enroll with a good and risk free trading course.

Yes, for me it's really better if you are going to learn the tip and trade of crypto trading, sort of working your ass out, and in the end, it's going to be worth it if you are going to be successful.

Instead of just using copy trading (I never tried and never well), there are risk involved. And if ever you failed then you have nothing to blame but yourself. Copy trading will just make you lazy to be honest and will just rely on others, not good if you wanted to be in this game for long.
2458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 25, 2022, 04:07:24 AM
And fighting with McGregor, that's a good fight as both are popular, however, I don't think they'll earn bigger than the Mayweather vs McGregor fight, but still, it's a guaranteed million dollars fight.
What about fight with the clown brothers e.g. Logan Paul and Jake Paul lol, they make a lot money by just show a circus fight. I realized there's no more fight with the Paul brothers, I think he still seeking an artist or celebrities to fight with them or cherry picking a bad boxer to prove they're real boxer.

Well that's how those two are good at, they might be clown brothers, but they are making huge money in return. So as boxing fans, we really don't appreciate those kind of exhibitions starring this two and I don't know who are buying their tickets either,  Grin.

Anycase, we will have another great fight in the calendar, Canelo vs GGG.

And then Josh Taylor vs Zepeda (mandatory), but so far there is news that this fight might be on hold for now.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 25, 2022, 03:16:12 AM
We almost got an upset when Tsitsipas went down 0-2 against Musetti.

So he has to climb back from that deficit and win the next three sets in fashion. And then again, Dennis Shapovalov (inconsistency), and after the game he said he felt some pressure because of the Wimbledon decision, not sure how true is that but a lost is a lost I guess.

Later it will be Nadal against Moutet in the second round. And fellow Spaniards Alcaraz vs Ramos Vinolas.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 25, 2022, 02:28:23 AM
At least Canelo making the good decision of giving us fans the needed trilogy instead of fighting Bivol again.

And this will be a career defining moment for him, I guess the lost to Bivol will give him motivation to finished off the storybook story between him and Canelo. Not sure if the odds are out yet, I haven't check but Canelo will be the favorite here despite his recent L.
