1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is gxc coin potentially good? on: January 22, 2023, 04:15:13 PM
I want to know from all my friends about gxc coin, does gxc coin have good potential for the future? because I saw at CMC the supply was only 100 million,
and if I'm not mistaken in 2021 this coin has also experienced a high price increase ... but now the price has fallen,
what do you think about this coin?
is this coin worth making a long term investment?

Well majority of the coins have been pump during the 2021 bull run, so GXC is no exception.

However, we don't know if this coin is going to survived this bear market, as you have said, it has fallen dramatically. And even if it just cap to $100 million, that is still not the only factors that investors are going to put their hard earn money on it, or for any project for that matter.

It should have a solid use case, strong fundamentals to be able to get the consensus and keep this project afloat in the next bull run. So no one can answer you in my opinion, as we can't see what the future holds.
1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping After The Arrest of Sam on: January 22, 2023, 04:01:38 PM
As others have said, the price increased has nothing to do with SBF. On the other hand, what he did was really put the price into a lowest low. And now we are back to where we should be before the collapse.

For sure others are very happy to see the price at $22,000-$23,000 that should be our levels around November.

In any case, we could only hope that justice will be served in this case, and those who are responsible should be put to jail.

Cannot believe Medvedev is out, well done to Korda.
I believe Medvedev is becoming a very average player, he hasn't really been able to build
on his success of 2021.

Murray v RBA up soon as well as Dimitrov v Djokovic, hopefully Dimitrov takes the first
set from Djokovic and we get a value bet because it's hard to see Djokovic losing.

Gallant effort by Dimitrov in the first set, but Djokovic didn't get an inch and won in a tie break. I thought he will give Dimitrov some breather in the first, but maybe he doesn't want to extend and he need to take a rest, 2 sets to nil, and most probably he will end the 3rd set as well as he is 4-1 ahead.

I agree with @Trofo, Murray doesn't look good and I don't know how he can survived against Agut, but it seems he still had the second wind, he is up 2-0 in the 4th set and server. So let's see if he has some magic and heroic comeback once more.
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 21, 2023, 10:23:10 AM
If this fight will be at 154 lbs then it's clear that Spence vs Crawford won't happen now not unless the latter will also move up.

The fight was one of the weirdest matches I have seen. Why not just Spence moved up in the usual way and vacate his 147 lbs belts?

How did it become possible to fight at 154 lbs when the title at stake was meant for 147 lbs? There's a current champion at 154 lbs so how this fight between Spence and Thurman will turned out? After the fight, like it will still consider as 147 lbs fight lol.

WBC is making things confusing and a bit technical. Why this fight should be that way when there's a normal process? They are crazy.

There's no opportunity for Crawford even if he will follow Spence or Charlo at 154 lbs because in the end, the same thing will happen, he will get toyed with Al Haymon and eventually, would waste another year that could be more fruitful. Crawford just need to be patient about his situation because eventually, Spence will vacate all the titles because I don't think the latter can always bring his belts with him at 154 as there's already an existing champion at the said weight class.

Yes, and if I'm not mistaken, Charlo is also with PBC stable, so he is under Al Haymon so Crawford can't just chase him as well to get a 154 lbs belt if he decided to move up.

Charlo is the undisputed champion in 154, unless he loses to Tim in their fight, Crawford will not have a crack at him because of the previous issues with Al Haymon and how he put PBC at a bad light (perhaps he is just telling the truth). So in any case 147 or 154, Crawford is in a the bad state, as he might not have chance to win another belt without going to Al Haymon again and negotiate and get the short end of the stick.

1 Do you have games like in my country in your country

You mean in local casinos? yeah, I have played this game for the last 5-10 years as it has many releases already but the game still remains the same I guess.

2, is this game easier than what I imagined?

Still based on your luck I guess, or the RTP set up, nevertheless I have said, I have been playing this for many years and most of the time I got a good hit and win big. Specially for those Greek mythology themes, this is one of the favorite for casino slot players, specially if you hit those wildcards in the middle of the reel, for sure this is going to be huge payouts.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 20, 2023, 07:27:01 PM
  -  As far as I know, there are other Mcdonald's franchises that accept cryptocurrency, I just don't remember what crypto it is, but as far as I know, there is a McDonald's franchise in the area of Taiwan that has already made such adoptions in the crypto space.

Now, if these McDonald's plans happen, it will be another good impact on our crypto believers, that's for sure. I hope these plans of Mcdonald's go ahead.

Not sure how big impact to crypto believers though, yes McDo is a good store and one of the most recognizable around the world. But still depends what kind of Metaverse and how us will used and take advantage of it.

And with that, all Metaverse are hype isn't it? It's just how the project are going to be promoted, everyone is on the bandwagon right now and we haven't heard any company yet that says that their Metaverse is a success, in my opinion. So it will take some time before we know the impact of McDonald's Metaverse if it is a success or not.
1507  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: January 20, 2023, 05:59:08 AM
Even though this is a bull trap, we are seeing the price rise to $21k and on its way to $22k. And whether it will achieve today, tomorrow, or even the day after tomorrow, our profits will increase. But some say that this time is a bull trap coming. And after this, the price will go down again. Whether it is a bull trap or a real uptick in bitcoin, we must remain vigilant and not let our guard down because anything can happen. It is also possible that now is the recovery phase for bitcoin before it jumps to the last ATH and creates a new ATH.

If that is the case then we can't call this a bull trap anymore as the price continue to go up. We have seen it go as high as $21,500 in the last 2 days and I thought it will continue to go to $22,000.

But some minor correction but then again we are back to $21,000.

So doesn't look like bull trap, on the other hand, it could be a bullish run, and the next stop could be $25,000. ATH though could be around 2024-2025 and not this year. We still need for the catalyst to happen, and that is the block halvening.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 05:21:32 AM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

I think if you register with your email, then you will received promos and what not to entice you to comeback and play with them again.

But I'm not sure if bonus is also included, maybe 1st or 2nd deposit bonus, but still you need to have money to play first before you can get that. As compare to what you have described like a voucher or something that you can get a discount on your next shopping or trip. So they are very different and not comparable to casino promotions.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 20, 2023, 04:30:57 AM
I was not expecting Inoue to challenge Stephen Fulton first! I was speculating that he will challenge Akhmadaliev then challenge Fulton for a unification superfight. It appears they want to first take the more difficult challenge hehe. Inoue would be making more money if he had half of the super bantamweight already through Akhmadaliev before challenging Fulton.

I think I will say that Fulton is a better matchup for Inoue, it's a tailor fight for him and Inoue has all the advantage and I might be thinking that he will score a knockout against Fulton.

Fulton doesn't have the power and as far as speed goes, I have Inoue as the faster between the two.

So it's a right choice for Inoue to get to him and take that belt easy, IMHO.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: January 20, 2023, 04:05:50 AM
^^ I'm still not totally sold of Plant's knockout power or what his training has been doing on him. He is not known to have one punch ko as far as I know. He just caught Anthony Dirrell very cleanly with that punch and so he goes down hard and was not able to come back from the canvass. And no offense to Dirrell, but he look shot already and way past his prime in my opinion. They just glorified Plant now as someone who has a one punch knockout artist but he is not. Against Benavidez, it might be different though as Benavidez has the advantage as far as power goes, IMHO.
True, of the 22 fights he had, he only had 13 KO's, so we cannot consider him as a KO artist.
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/684493

That also depends on his opponent, and against Benavidez, I doubt he would win by KO, maybe the complete opposite will happen if he will not be careful. He losses against Canelo, so we can say he is not really that great, just an average boxer IMO.

Yes, again, we appreciate him getting the knockout of the year against Dirrell, it was the timing and it was really perfect. But that is the first time that he won with that statement knockout against someone and then now we think he is a great KO boxer which is not. As you have said, he is just an average boxer who gets the job done the last time. But Benavidez is strong and maybe he is the one who is going to sleep on the canvass this March 25.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 19, 2023, 09:31:59 AM
Bitcoin is again churning out support on the 1-hour time frame, I hope it doesn't actually get broken this time on a minus -3% overnight crash given this is not strong support (only formed in the last few days) or bitcoin has to hit bottom again which is very dull.

Yeah, there was some negative news earlier that put a damp to the rally that we have like in the last 10 days. Nevertheless, settled down a bit now, $20,700 seems to be strong support for now.

So I do believed that we might have bottom for now, and this strong support will carry us to the next level, $23,000-$25,000 should be the next obvious target in February. Just continue to accumulate though, still the best time as the price is still very cheap.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polygon network going to be an alternative to BSC network? on: January 19, 2023, 04:16:31 AM
The demand for BSC network has increased due to increase in gas fee of Ethereum network. Most of the Altcoin projects are now using the BSC network. Even some Ethereum network's Altcoin project is switching to BSC / Polygon network.
But now it is seen that some Altcoin project is being launched in Polygon network. We know that gas fee of BSC network is very low and transaction speed is high. So for which benefit, all these projects are being launched on Polygon network instead of BSC?

Well i think nowadays we have so many L1-projects or L2-projects that are all offering smart contract functionality that we really have a big choice now, which network we want to use. Back in the day there only was Ethereum which offered smart contracts and that was a huge game changer for the whole crypto space because smart contracts were necessary for all the stuff that we are having today with NFT's, tokens and of course Defi with it's yield farms and so on.
Obviously ETH had huge problems during high traffic phases which made it almost unusable for small investors like me because a transaction often did cost more fee than the value of the transaction itself was.
Polygon and BSC are both having relatively low transaction fees so there is no big difference in that regard. It all comes down to which chain has the bigger adoption.

But still though, I think ETH still leads any other L1 smart contract and dapps, although their is BSC highly touted as a big risk and competition for ETH, so far it's ETH that's in the first place. The only reason that the projects did stay away from ETH network is the network fee, but since it moved to PoS, then perhaps this issues have been alleviated already.

But as a developer, it's good to have this kind of alternatives so that they can rightly choose which one fits their needs.

So it's a win win for them and for us crypto enthusiast.

1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 19, 2023, 02:22:51 AM
Yes, for us it's not really fair to see this fight at 154 lbs and without any belt of Spence in line for the Thurman. But since they are in the same stable and control by Haymon, Thurman can't do anything about it. What the boss says will take into effect and it seems that the body is willing to give this exception for Spence to fight without any belt unless it's Crawford. So this could be very well a done deal already as it is reported by many insider. I haven't heard anything from the camp of Thurman though, but as I have said, he is the B-side so no complaint from him whatsoever.

If you guys remembered, I asked if the Thurman vs Spence will be a title fight but it seems it's not.

Then just recently, the fight was sanctioned as a mandatory defense for Spence by the WBC.

A bit confused here, I thought they were fighting at 147 and not on 154. But why there's a term that no belt at stake here? Am I hearing it right?

Then what's the purpose of this fight especially it was sanction by a higher boxing authority?

I'm confused as well, if there's no belt involved, then we cannot call it a mandatory fight and Spence could say no if he wants to. Well, even if there's no belt involved, it will be okay for fans that are desperate to see some action as we will definitely see a real action of these two.

If just for fans' satisfaction then that fight is a waste of fight if no belt will be at risk.

Keith Thurman is clearly just being toyed and no point in risking his life for nothing.

He has a good portfolio in the first place so if that fight doesn't have a stake in line, it's a clear disrespect for Thurman just for Spence to have a fight after a long period of rest.

If he is being toyed, can he refused this fight or not?

It's clearly disrespect, but he is also under the stable of PBC, and chances are, he will and might accept it without any resistance from him. He can't go against the wishes of Haymon because they are trying to milk their cash cow Errol Spence and for sure Keith knows that for sure because he was once their banner fighter at 147 lbs until he got injured and lost the fight to Manny. So I think this will still be a go fight for Keith.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 19, 2023, 01:30:49 AM
Meanwhile, have read a news article that Donaire and Moloney will slug it out for the WBC belt vacated by Inoue. This is good news for us fans of Donaire as we all know that he still have some tricks to do the job even if he is 40 years old.
It's still floating.

But if it's guaranteed and official then Donaire will just have to prove himself that age doesn't matter and he's still a great guy to box with. He'll take back what's taken from him.

And I think that he's going to have more intense training and will be more pursued to win this match after his loss against Inoue who will just leave his rank and division.

Floating but confirmed official since the conditions were unlocked which is Naoya Inoue moving up a weight.

I believed Donaire should be able to handle Moloney as the former already experienced a difficult fight in his career, which is facing Inoue.

Remember that Donaire is the first one to put Inoue on a verge of losing that's why I'm sure he can handle other boxers in the bantamweight now that Inoue is out of sight and no more tough opponent is left in that division for him.

I agree Donaire has a good chance against Moloney, but here's the thing, Moloney is being promoted by Top Rank, and Donaire under Richard Schaefer, his  Probellum company.

However, Arum says that he doesn't want to work with Probellum because according to him, it has ties with Irish crime lord Daniel Kinahan, who was sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Treasury. So that makes things complicated again and we don't know if we will see this mandatory fight this year or how will the sanctioning body goes with their number 1 and number 2 contender for the vacate title if their promoters refused to work with each other.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Shocks the World on: January 18, 2023, 11:02:51 AM
Dear Op what are you talking about ETH=BTC are you sure you are not dreaming? Dear No altcoin can compete with BTC as you can say that the Whole Altcoin market in total strength is almost a worthy competitor of the King BTC. Less than that you can't even compare them.

For a simple example check current market capital =

BTC market capital =

so always remember BTC > Whole Altcoin Market

He is not talking about the price if you read the context of his statement. He is pertaining to increased of the number of validators of Ethereum due to the upcoming shanghai hark fork of Ethereum which probably gives more reward to all validators.

You can read full news here: https://news.bitcoin.com/ethereum-validator-count-surpasses-500000-ahead-of-upcoming-shanghai-hard-fork/

Probably but what shocking to us is him telling us the ETH will be the next crypto King?

So regardless if it has top million validators or what not, I doubt that it can topple Bitcoin on top of the food chain. Even if we talk about the price, or market cap, ETH is still way below. So I don't think there is something that we should be in shock with the number of validators.

It could be the numbers that Ethereum didn't expect, but I guess it just shows how Ethereum becoming so centralized now with that number of validators?
1517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 18, 2023, 10:51:53 AM
If you notice, we are having slight sustained upward trend, which seem to indicate that barring catastrophic news, such as another FTX, that we can get back to $20k and beyond.

It's like a week since you have posted this and yeah, the upward trend still continues up to this point, $21,000 and counting. There's no news yet like the FTX and hopefully there's none in this year.

For anyone who is in on this, we know that sub $20k prices are extremely cheap, the thing is that there have been extreme downturns because of the leverage explosion but at the minimum that things return to normal the normal is a 2023 with upside.

For sure there are speculators, whether short or long term, who filled their bags last year because the price is cheap. But still though, at the current price movement, we can still consider this it as a discount because we are still in the $21,000. And maybe at the end of the year, this could double as I can see $40,000 or higher this year.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco on: January 18, 2023, 02:25:40 AM
Haney is a Muslim, and if I'm not mistaken, Ramadan will take place March 22 and will end April 21.
I just knew this one from you, thanks for this. One month of preparation will be okay i think (after the Ramadan) for a boxer like Haney.
I didn't know this too so thank you for that information.
They are strict with their Muslim rules and I think Devin Haney already notified his managers about that event. It's sacred so it should be respected.

If ever the odds will come out how much do you guys think the difference will be? Is Devin Haney a heavy favorite like the odds in Tank Davis' fight against Hector Garcia? IIRC, it's Davis @1.05 only. Or will it be a near fight.
I can see different predictions from a few websites right now with Haney @1.50 and Vasiliy Lomachenco @2.60 -ish but I know they are not accurate yet.
A big change could happen before the fight.
I've also seen a tweet that it won't take place in Madison Square Garden. So Vegas or Crypto.com Arena or what the fans are hyping up or suggesting, Middle East, Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, I think it's about right that Haney could be around @1.50 betting favorite, but Loma should not be far behind, for me it should be around @2.20'ish.

They are just trying to look for the venue that will really maximized their profits I guess, but in any case, it will be a huge fight regardless of the venue. Much better if it will be the US though for me.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 18, 2023, 01:46:17 AM
When it comes to defense, I'll go with tank davis. His footwork is so good that he dodged a lot of punches from his last fight between him and hector garcia. His punch is so powerful that bigger opponents can't take the damage in their body. I don't know if Ryan has a body that can take the punch of Tank but he is an orthodox fighter and he has a crazy fast hooks and jabs. He dropped Javier Fortuna with his crazy jabs. The hook of King Ryan is also powerful so we should expect that we can see hooks vs hooks between him and Tank.
Hector Garcia is too slow on that's fight, he can't predict which side Tank will punch him, that's why he get many punches landed on his face and his promoter stopped the fight since Garcia complaining about his eyesight.

Ryan Garcia once fall when he was fight with Luke Campbell, so it's proving if Garcia doesn't have a tough chin. Tank just need to play like this to beat Ryan Garcia, fast and unpredictable, it will shock Ryan Garcia.
Both are close fighters, their accuracy is their premium talent, and both are young with a chance of one punch KO. I think we will see knockdowns happen but they will fight back. Like that time Ryan Garcia was knocked down by Campbell, he went back up and ended it with a liver punch that made Campbell unable to stand up.
He must be more aggressive here though as he is the challenger. While the Tank starts slow, the strategy could be to not let him have an opening. More attacks, and get that haymaker land as early as possible. I am worried Garcia's chin won't be able to handle Davis' hook though.

The power though of Campbell is way below Tank's level, so imagine if Tank caught up Ryan with that left hook, gonna be good night for Ryan as I doubt that he can get up from the power of Davis.

On the other hand, Tank was hit by Hector Garcia in his last fight, and if that is Ryan Garcia it could also ended up in a different outcome.

So we will see which one with landed that first left hook and what will be the reaction.

If we're talking and would bet about who got a much tougher chin, my vote will of course be going for Gervonta Davis for sure because that's already proven. Now I know that Tank Davis haven't had a bad hit in his career that can match with Ryan Garcia's left hook but I'm almost certainly sure that Tank Davis can somehow withstand or shake it off, but if it's the latter? I don't think he can shake it off that easily, Campbell's punch almost gave him a good night sleep, how much more if it was Tank's.

It's really hard to see though, Tank is really very cautious not to get hit, but I think throughout his career, he has been touch by many boxers but the same, not as powerful as Ryan Garcia's left hook that's why he was still standing and never been knockdown in his career. So it will be first time for both and we can speculate how will they react if they got hit and who is going to be the first one to land that clean shot.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2023, 01:22:29 AM
This is the reason why Donaire suddenly changed his course after knowing that Inoue will vacate all the belts once he climbs the next weight class, supposedly Donaire will go down at 115 pounds in super-flyweight division because he knows that he won't be holding any belts while Inoue is still in bantam weight but after knowing the fact, he is now maintaining the weight and I've heard that he's already scheduled to fight once WBO belt was vacated. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not that Donaire suddenly changed his course but it was an option right from the start. It's just that some conditions were met.

As you mentioned, WBC mandated a fight involving Donaire if Naoya Inoue decided to vacate all his belts in the bantamweight.

Moving forward, since Inoue now officially moved up weight, Donaire will now instead push on the better option which is competing again in the WBC Bantamweight title against Australian's Jason “Mayhem” Moloney.

I guess though the condition still base on Inoue, and now that he has official going to super bantamweight, it make sense for Donaire to stay at the bantamweight and fight against Moloney for the vacant belt.

And if by chance Inoue decided for at least fight another one in the bantamweight, it's either Donaire moving down to 115 lbs and could remain semi retired. But the good thing is that the first condition has been met so Donaire will have another crack to get his belt back.

Also, Donaire is more suited in the bantamweight division rather than looking for a title at 115 pounds as I'm inclined that his career might end sooner that what he expected. Having a fight against Moloney for the vacant title is already a good opportunity for Donaire to display his prowess again in this division that he was once a champion, it will be a perfect bout for him to test if he can still do few more fights or it's time for him to hang up his gloves.

I agree, although some of us would likely advise him to retire because of the brutal beating he got from the hands of Inoue, this boxers still seek something before they finally hang up their gloves.

And this could be a make or break for Nonito, if he lost this one, then it's better to quit because he doesn't have anything to proved. But if he can win again then he has to go and will have to defend that belt and yes, this could be his second reign at bantamweight.
