2463  Other / Chinese students / Re: Offer For Chinese Students on: March 18, 2011, 11:25:32 AM

2464  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Chinese Paper-cuts's cartoon on: March 18, 2011, 10:29:31 AM
First, what are you selling?

Second, most western people dont have QQ.
2465  Other / Chinese students / Re: offer new ideas on: March 18, 2011, 10:26:00 AM
It is still not clear what you are offering.

Nefario:

Is john / v1l1r [ johannes.desiakk@gmx.at ] one of your students by any chance ?

http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4205.0

He has the behavior of typical spammer + poor english.
However what is weird, he keeps repeating that he is not a scammer.

No, not one of mine.

Guys, you need to work harder on the translation, the jokes dont make sense.
2468  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Photoshop picture retouching. on: March 18, 2011, 04:45:34 AM
not at all. punks like to turn the flag upside down and hate the queen. it's like saying fuck you. some even wear the swastika for shock value, but they all hate nazis (punks are anti-rascist, pro-environment, anarchist, ...)

that pic... nice work Grin didn't think i could be more of a hotty than i am

How can you tell if the flag is upsidedown?

But yeah, good work on the picture.

What other sources I've read that vnc is not great for remote pair programming. Too slow.
2470  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: About all the posts from Chinese with poor Engrish on: March 18, 2011, 03:21:25 AM
Arrested, I don't think so, but I would certainly get fired. You don't need to break a law for that to happen. Think of the headline "college teacher forces students to promote western technology & ideology", I would be BBQ'd.
2471  Other / Chinese students / Re: Offer For Chinese Students on: March 17, 2011, 04:40:46 PM
He will pay.
2472  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Wonderful Chinese on: March 17, 2011, 03:36:52 PM
Yes, you could do a chinese food cook book (as a pdf) and sell it for bitcoin.
2473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the "little toe" crypto currency on: March 17, 2011, 03:18:20 PM
won't work -- not enough significant digits.
I'm assuming this was pun intended Wink

Yeah,  I had missed it.

I never told them that bitcoin is free money, they know this. This is them being lazy. If you see more posts like this I think it's best to just ignore it.

They have been told what they need to do.
2475  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I CAN HELP YOU! on: March 17, 2011, 03:12:53 PM
I like it. So for op, for english practice, I give 1btc if you describe me your typical student day in China. With as much details as possible, like including what kind of food you exactly eat and so on. If you make it long enough (include some additional descriptions maybe, like how your room/university looks like, or what kind of classes you have at university, and everything other that comes to your head, pictures welcome), I give additional 1btc.
Friends, if I  describe China college students' daily life for you, you will give me 1BTC?
[/quote]

Yes they will, but the quality must be quite good, good spelling, good grammar etc.
2476  Economy / Marketplace / Re: help each other on: March 17, 2011, 03:10:57 PM
I'll pay 3 bitcoins if you write "hello bitcoiners"  on your hand in chinese and place a  shoe on your head and post the photo  here . Include a bitcoin address printed on a piece of paper somewhere in the photo for an extra 2 btc

 Cheesy

Could I ? Is that a joke ?

Yes you could, it is a joke(its funny for him) but if you do he will pay you.
2477  Economy / Marketplace / Re: translating services on: March 17, 2011, 03:05:45 PM
xieweiyemeng, send me a personal message, or post your bitcoin address so that I can pay you!   Grin

2478  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you want to learn the chinese kongfu of the Bruce Lee?We have the video on: March 17, 2011, 03:03:11 PM
How much for the video?
2479  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: About all the posts from Chinese with poor Engrish on: March 17, 2011, 02:59:31 PM
Thanks for the infopost! Was wondering what was going on, but figured you were behind it.

I'll try and help out where I can, being civil, etc but unfortunately I don't think I need anything they're offering.

Thats fine, if you dont need anything then you dont need anything. Dont do charity with these though, make them work for their btc. The closer we grt to end of term the more desperate the lazy students will become, and I am sure many of them will resort to begging. Rewarding begging will do nothing to help them learn.
2480  Economy / Marketplace / Re: T CB on: March 17, 2011, 02:10:24 PM
I can't see the picture.

Also what do you mean "Want to know"?

What are you offering?
