Overall a fairly balanced article, good journalism actually. I've bought the paper and it's a full broadsheet page.

Needed to generate a spreadsheet from my various histories, so knocked up some python scripts to convert the existing (bmc.py 2.0) output to CSV format.

Decided to bung them up on gitorious too ...

     https://gitorious.org/bmctools/bmctools/blobs/raw/master/spread-asset-history.py
     https://gitorious.org/bmctools/bmctools/blobs/raw/master/spread-bitcoin-history.py
     https://gitorious.org/bmctools/bmctools/blobs/raw/master/spread-market-history.py

     (Main - https://gitorious.org/bmctools)

I'm sorting by Time for each of the histories currently, as that was most important to me. Very easy to adapt to sort by any of the other fields though.

Any questions please ask.

No comments on quality - I haven't used python for a long time and they are functional NOT pretty ;O)

Ooohhhh, how would you feel if I were to include these with the command line client?

Is anyone else getting a "The site's security certificate is not trusted!" from GLBSE, using Chrome?

Yes it's self signed for the moment (until I get a signed one), I'm also wondering why this is coming up here.

Is this idea going to be listing on GLBSE for capital?
We are talking about it yes, I am getting tons of inquiry's every day about it. I haven't had the time to draft a shares contract, or even talk to my team about what we're going to do as far as splitting public shares go, because my site tweetforum was hacked and down for almost a week. It has taken alot of time and energy out of me, and thank god that xenland has been there to help me re-cooperate some of the losses that we went through at TweetForum during the hacking. I am 99% sure it was someone from this thread. If that's fine with you sir, we will be using your site as an exchange medium in the future.

That's what it's there for. Get in contact with me if you need help.

1607  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Android Released on: July 07, 2011, 05:17:19 PM
I don't have access to the market. Could someone put up the .APK?

This would be great.  Could we also get hashes from multiple people to compare to the APK provided.

I love the paranoia of this community.

Being paranoic does not mean that THEY are not after you.

I'm really only half joking, In the bitcoin community I've finally found someone as paranoid or more so than me, most of my btc contacts use GPG, it's great.

55000000 BTC to buy a share - may be in my next birth.

I like your sense of humor.

Money isn't the problem. The problem is I'm currently based in China.

I've been unable to get a signed cert so far, and I'm not getting one from the Chinese cert auth (that's even more difficult and also insecure).

Also with regards security of self signed certs, it comes down to a question of who do you trust, me or verisign.

http://webdesign.about.com/od/ssl/a/signed_v_selfsi.htm

The only issue is the warning that browsers pop up, makes people uncomfortable.

Market is down for the next 12 hours.
1612  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE's latest updates (an early Christmas present for non-techies) on: July 07, 2011, 01:43:56 PM
yes, still happening. only for price 0.5500....

OK guys there is a problem with the webclient.
It's a JavaScript float issue.

Dishwara, although you're typing in 0.55000, what is actually being sent to the server is 55000000.00000001

This wont be fixed in the webclient for maybe 12 hours.

It's a pretty serious problem I think, one that for some reason has only come now(which is strange because it's also there on the first web client).

I'm closing the market for the next 12 hours until it's done.

1613  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE's latest updates (an early Christmas present for non-techies) on: July 07, 2011, 10:10:56 AM
I am creating an order to buy DISHWARA @ 0.550000 BTC & my order cannot be created & giving a pop message with object[object] as error.
But i can able to buy from already asked amount.
Why is that?

This happens only when buy price is 0.550000.
It doesn't happen when buy price is 0.500 or 0.59 or 0.600

Still happening?

Some of the chart subpages (Trade History/Market depth) seem to still be broken, also the database below the charts still don't seem to include all transactions since the start of GLBSE. I guess this has low priority but I still wanted to report it. Keep up the great work! Smiley

charts had the readings backwards for a week or two, and has recorded that information. Thats what's being seen.
1617  Economy / Services / Re: Easy BTC for a little web design for GLBSE on: July 06, 2011, 05:13:42 AM
PM'd both of you.

Just to clarify, this isn't for a totally new site. glbse.com is there, this is an update, a few new buttons and a banner, that's pretty much it.

Is anyone else having trouble selling assets/shares because of the reserves issue?

Centimine, do you still have that problem?

Anyone who is please pm me your account number and the asset you're having trouble with.
