2461  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 13, 2023, 09:57:13 PM
I have a suggestion, post all of those picks you've made in the first post and indicate if it's a good pick or a bad one. That will show the stats that you've got from all of those that you've made and that will give a conclusion or idea for those that would like to follow what you'll be picking.
This thread is gonna be basically your prediction/tipster thread and it suits more on the Gambling discussion rather than here in the Gambling. Most of the threads here are announcement threads of the casinos, official ones, and if there have been some tipster threads in here, they're likely unmoved and haven't been seen by the mods so they're not yet moved.
2462  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and Rich on: March 13, 2023, 09:32:44 PM
We all know the quote "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" I heard this quote when I was in high school now I'm grown up. I always wondering why?

Is it that the rich have already wealth the day they are born? Have savings and investment?

While the poor doesn't have any of those?

The point is I started in low before having some savings and investment. I'm not saying I'm already rich but I can say that I'm better than before. Can you guys share your ideas with this topic.
Not all rich are born with a silver spoon and many of them came from rugs to riches. They have come with all of their hardships and smart work and that's why they've become rich. And as they progress into being rich, they've come to understand how it's possible for how the rich to become richer. They're all smart in money and especially if it's not inheritance money, they'll invest it. Rich has got rich mindset while the poor got a poor mindset if you get what I mean as it all starts with how they think once they've got the money. The rich before receiving the money, they're already thinking of which investment it shall go to. While the poor think of what wants they should buy upon receiving their money or salary.
2463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 13, 2023, 08:56:04 PM
I have tried to deposit into a known casino from the forum (not stake) and then tried to withdraw after playing there a few times. They're strict with their ruling and required me to do a KYC. I do get the reason why they're doing that and it just caught me by surprised because that's not what they intend to market and advertisement. It was really a different experience for me but I have to comply so that I can withdraw my money after the compliance, they allowed my cashout but I have never used them again because of that experience that I got from them. That's why those casinos that are truthful to their promises about being nonkyc as long as the withdrawals aren't that much and you've got no red flag from the casino's system upon withdrawal, that's what most casinos should try to copy.
2464  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 13, 2023, 08:23:25 PM
I am saving a little bit from what's left of me but mostly, I keep everything in my investments like bitcoin. But we've got the same reason, as you save for your future, I do invest for my future as well. I have the discipline in investing but whenever is cash in my hand, I have no idea how it's so quick to be gone.  Cheesy
That's why the only way is to put that into investments so that I won't touch it anymore. We have to save and invest from now on, as we've seen the world's economy is unstable and we don't know what might happen soon. There's a reason why we should do that so whenever a turnover comes into our lives, we've got something that we can use in times of need. Whether it's from your investments or savings, you've come prepared to deal with it.
Savings is a must thing but not fully be put up in fiat form but rather it should really be put up on some investment like crypto or other assets like real estate or other investment which arent on fiat form which you do know that it could really be able to provide out some potential earning or income which you could really make use of on the time that you do really need it or simply that could generate more income.
We are really that prioritizing on things which we do really like specially on making money and able to survive into those hard time specially if its needing up some funds
considering that we are living on a world where inflation and recession is inevitable.
Yeah, inflation will be taking a big portion of its current value and that's why it's best to be placed into any investment that we understand. In my case, it's mostly with bitcoin and that's my savings that I'm treating right now. It may not be in the form of fiat but we know that fiat's printing during the intense height of the pandemic made its value lower due to its supply. Whilst for bitcoin, we're all aware that it's got a supply limit and its transparent on how many were in there in the economy circulating but we just don't know how many have been lost forever and that makes it worthier because it adds value to the current bitcoin in circulation now. I just don't know if I'll be selling if I want some or if I'd remain firm waiting for the next bull run and with the another bull after it. Hopefully that all of us meet for those next bull runs.

2466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Includes happiness and Bitcoin on: March 13, 2023, 07:25:16 PM
But my concern is that, could it be hacked?
Every system and software that's connected to the web could be hacked, there's always that possibility of being in that scenario. But the developers and companies that produce such ATMs, they've taken measures to their security, and for sure that it won't be easy for the perpetrators to commit such acts. There could be attempts and that's why securities of such systems are continuous in terms of updates to avoid into being potential abuses. As for having a bitcoin ATM nearby, it really brings joy to the enthusiast out there. I wish that I'm also near to one of it in my country, there are two already but I need to allot travel time on it since it's not from a nearby station/mall.
2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 13, 2023, 06:45:17 PM
That's so nice of you that you didn't take advantage of those bettors that want to have some additional chance of winning through your picks. Because in the past, there have been those tips being offered just because they've been winning with the sizeable amount and chances that they've got were better than the rest so they think that they should open a service offer for producing tips and picks every day. But most of those didn't go successfully and just as you've mentioned, it's good that you clear that in gambling there's no guarantee for all of the picks that you'll do which is true. You might also satisfy some folks that have been looking for your losses because they're not satisfied about what you've shared which was only about your wins.
2468  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 13, 2023, 06:10:25 PM
That really is something that you shouldn't be thinking about anymore. That is happening to many families and when someone's favor isn't granted, they're acting dumb. You don't need that type of guy in your life even if he's a close relative to you.
You don't have to think of his problem as you don't have anything against him, if he gives you attention then reciprocate but that's it. Whenever both of you are in the same place, you just guard your place and you don't have to be showy to him just because you don't lend him any money because you owe him nothing and you owe him no money. The wrong thing about borrowers, there shouldn't be any heart feeling when a relative rejects you, they also have obligations to make and that what you must understand.
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: March 13, 2023, 10:56:16 AM
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?
You have the idea I guess. When the price of bitcoin goes on high during the bull run, alts do come with it, right? And if bitcoin goes $10 soon, the price of altcoins are gonna be cheaper than what it is right now. But here's the thing when bitcoin drops to $10, there will be a lot of people that will be quick to buy those cheapest bitcoins in the market ever. They've seen it not just once not just twice but many times that it has recovered from its dump and that's why it's not gonna be a matter of price if that happens especially for bitcoin and, I think that the same scene might be created for some few altcoins that's also known.
2470  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: March 13, 2023, 09:17:07 AM
I am also a social seller, it really gives me a lot of benefits, it saves me space, staff as well as taxes...Social networks are like other means, the benefit or harm is only the user's fault, not the fault of the social network. It's all human behavior.
Social networks have various reasons why they're made mainly their sole purpose is for profit but they do understand that at the beginning, there should be a service and feature that many users will be able to benefit from. And from that perspective, they've delivered that service for everyone to enjoy, and as technology advances, online shopping, selling, and transactions have been rampant so they're the easiest medium to be used by everyone. It has no gender and status bias because it's for everyone to enjoy such features which can be accommodated by them whether your purpose is to sell products or make your business presence through their platform which is visible and truly helpful for most entrepreneurs and companies.
2471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do politicians smokes? on: March 13, 2023, 08:23:35 AM
What do they smoke?
If you have watched the series Narcos on Netflix and if you remember the scene that Pablo Escobar used for making his child warm. Then, that's all the politicians are smoking, money. Money makes them so powerful up to the point that they can do anything to a person's life and even end it. It makes them so powerful but forgets the moral and main reason why they ran for political and public office. Money is just like smoke, it has a smell that lingers on their nose up to their minds and that's really addicting. And this is for those states and countries that have corrupt politicians, yeah you may think about literal money that's been rolled up like a cigarette but it's all about it.
2472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: March 13, 2023, 07:44:39 AM
It's proven that you're at best when you just woke up in the morning because our brain just came from rest through our sleep. I have proved to myself that whenever I just woke up, I'm more productive and capable to do things that I have. You're not yet exhausted so your daily routine in the morning is really gonna help you decide better with your trades. And basically, if your practice is making you productive and you're happy with the results of it, there's no need to change it and you can continue that until you think that it's no longer effective. But as much as you've explained everything, you're doing a good job and that's what a good routine in the morning does and you only need to maintain it.
2473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoGPT on: March 12, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
I avoid such projects that are putting themselves close to what is hype and currently popular. They've got no actual originality because they're attaching to what's popular at the moment. I'm done with those projects copying or making their names close to the trendy things today like in the past about TV shows, AIs, meme coins, now we've got these popular AI made by OpenAi which is the chatgpt and now, a developer sees the opportunity of it trying to get some investors by just adding the name of the popular app to their project. The website was even made just this 2023, so what I am expecting about it? If the fade of chatgpt goes down, this project might also lie low.
2474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 12, 2023, 11:24:31 PM
They're like small kids trying to learn about technology but as kids, they've got no resources. While the aged people, they've got resources but lesser time. IMHO, nothing wrong with them putting themselves into bitcoin as there's no requirement for being aged or a young kid. But their resource like pensions should be spent wisely and they could still be reckless with spending their money which might result in the misallocation of their budget. I want them to understand bitcoin but if it's about their attitude towards investing, I think that there's gonna be a gap with that because you know that our young at heart folks might be intimidated by small volatility upon looking at their portfolio value.
2475  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 12, 2023, 10:55:55 PM
In some conversations that I have had with some rich people who are old, they most times always say that they invested in real estate and that was how they made some fortune. Young people understand that investing is key and paramount to securing a better future like these Old rich men did then, But the question now is what exactly to invest in for young people. Is it wise to follow in the steps of the old rich men who had investments in Real Estate, or do they completely now invest in cryptocurrency? The answer is sometimes traced to the one that offers the lowest risk and loss of capital.
IMHO, it's wise and proven to follow that path of investing in real estate but don't just limit yourself to being a young person to that investment. There are younger ones that are willing to take more risks since they can still do that while failure won't be matter to them at an early stage of their lives. In reality for real estate, will require any investor a huge amount of money to start whether it's a cash purchase or through a mortgage and only young people that are born with silver spoons can afford to do that. So for those starting young professionals, they really have to start somewhere and invest elsewhere first but they should put it on their list to invest if they are ready in real estate.

The less riskier from Real Estate and cryptocurrency is Real Estate, but less risk,, less reward. The risk that come with the higher volatility of cryptocurrency makes the profit that can be gotten bigger. Will you go for less risk, or big profit?
I don't understand the first sentence but going on, I'd choose to be on both boats. I've taken much and less risk so it's an easy thing to deal with.
2476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 12, 2023, 10:26:52 PM
You can still trade and be drunk at the same time. There's this type of drunk that knows what he's doing while someone who's drunk that he's already in other dimensions. So choose what type of drunk you're experiencing and if it's the latter part then don't spend and waste your money doing trades if it's too easy for you to throw money on an instant. But you know what's the best drunk and crypto stories that I've heard? It's about the legendary "I am HODLing" by gamekyuubi. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0)
2477  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why should we observe Every that matters about our kids on: March 12, 2023, 09:56:25 PM
And because they're threatened by the abuser and they think that it's the end of the world for them so they wouldn't call it out and just obey whatever the abuser tends to say.
Being open and always being together with your children will help that observation and it won't let them keep a single thing or two and they'll be able to be vocal with almost everything because they're comfortable with you and they should be because you're their parent.
It will also play in your mind as a parent on why your kid or children aren't too vocal to you and they're keeping secrets to you, in that case start asking yourself why. Don't let their feelings be far away from you.
To achieve that thing, the parents should starting not only a parent connection with children but also a friendship connection. Their children must feel at a young age that they can be their friends too, where the kids will be open to them about anything that's happening on their life. When you start noticing that your child is being quiet and not so vocal to you, as his parents, you should be alarmed because something might happened already maybe in their schools or they started overthinking things which can lead to stress that is not good for their mental health.
Go outside every weekends or free time, have bonding with them, always complement them and remind them how you love them so much, by small things like that it has a big impact on them. Because they will know that you are there for them in time of need. Do not just observe but go do some action for them as they are your kids and for them to be build and ready for the real world in the near future.
Having a friendship connection with your kid is true, your child won't be feeling uncomfortable telling what they want, what they feel, and what they think about something. They'll be vocal about such incidents and situations and that's a result of having good parenting.
The goal is to have them closer to you as a parent and don't put such barriers from being their parent because when kids feel they're intimidated, they'll start to flee or avoid you at most times because they don't like the approach to them. There's no other person that they should come in when they feel they're in trouble but none other than their parents. They should see you as their hero.
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 12, 2023, 09:25:45 PM
Yeah, it works for them and that's why they won't change a thing with it. Until it's valid that they're seeing it no longer effective then that's the time that they have to restrategize their tactics. But as long as it's working, there's no need for them to change that as it's not being called by their demand. As much as we want to make things easy, it's for them to tell and do things whether it's really needed or not.
While the impact of it for an individual is quite big but for them, if someone goes to the landing page, that's all they need to do because once a gambler is enticed with the promos, they wouldn't mind about stuff of registering because they already caught their attention about the promos that they can see.

but do take note that if the requirements are quite not reasonable, people will talk. and they can give bad feedbacks if they got screwed because of misleading adverts.
for sure, those too-good-to-be-true bonuses have corresponding requirements, in which, most gamblers will fail to complete. the casino would know if their tactics are not working if less people to none are availing their bonuses.
These days, most customers are really vocal and for sure that they've been dealing with lots of them on a daily basis. So if it's been brought to them not just once or twice, they'll not be ignored until the changes have been visible from the customers that have shared their concerns with them. As long as the requirements are reasonable and they can be said to be competitive, there will be gamblers that would always chase them regardless of the prize is as long as it's achievable and very easy to comply with. They do conduct surveys from their customers and if it's not that effective anymore, the changes will be discerning for those customers that have come to take the notice of it.
2479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have failed too severely, time to give up? on: March 12, 2023, 08:54:30 PM
I'm not into that nature of business and that's one of the businesses that I find noble because if it's not for the farmers regardless of what you farm, what we shall eat?
IMHO, just keep on doing what you're doing and if you think that you've failed because of the customers that are not even eager to what you're explaining the benefits and discounts you're giving to them upon paying through bitcoin, that's okay. You don't have to stress yourself from within and just always be willing to accept bitcoin whenever you've got a surprising encounter from a random customer that's very open to that idea and who knows, one of your customers in the nearest future is also a bitcoin enthusiast for which you'll talk a lot about it.
2480  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 12, 2023, 08:26:26 PM
I think one of the perfect reasons is being lacked financial education. Because it deals with everyone, whether you're an employed person with a good salary or someone jobless and you've got no motivation, being lack of financial education will just make you do your own stuff that you used to do even if it's unproductive. Because in my case, I'm not really good with money and even if I've got some basic thoughts about finance and how to handle money, I can still spend on worthless things when my emotion comes. So, not just all about being financial educated but also controlling your emotions towards spending habits because if you're earning that money hardly, you'll think about of the best ways to spend them and you've got a dream of coming out of the rat race.
