2481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is safe haven right now ? on: February 06, 2018, 03:11:25 AM
Best thing to do is just HODL for now. If you've only invested in sound coins then i would'nt be too worried.

I'm hodling Tether, but It seem Tether will get in jail soon. And all Altcoins are dipping more...

So you sold everything at a loss?

I'm hodling Tether, but I read more bad news about Tether today on Cointelegraph

balls of steel

It is sad china will miss out but thats just how it is.

2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: February 05, 2018, 11:32:49 PM
ICO will die I'm afraid of go the regulated accredited investor route ... its for your own safety.

Without that then icos are just 100% premines where you trust the dev to do what it appears he is doing.

There is not room for trust at any point ............actually that is the point.
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is what i buy during the crash. on: February 05, 2018, 11:25:14 PM
I bought the only real projects that are really undervalued

bitbay
blocknet
byteball
komodo
sys

2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roadmap VS Quality on: February 05, 2018, 04:57:49 PM
ROAD MAP = DREAMS

Unless the difficult parts of the road map have been completed or there is HARD evidence the dev team can complete these parts it is just a bunch of promises and dreams.

there are perhaps 20-30 real proven dev teams on this entire board that are capable of producing something of real interest and not just something btc can do

2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will verge beat bitcoin in terms of market cap on: February 05, 2018, 04:49:50 PM
wtf is wrong with these random crazy questions...

pick any random coin and ask will it beat btc?

no reasonable case  at all for even for proposing such a ludicrous idea?

why would verge of all the projects out there mount any challenge to a project with such investment and adoption like btc has?

why would verge even be something someone would invest in over other projects have dev teams that have produced something of far greater use that required far more talent in design and coding?

2491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach to $700? on: February 05, 2018, 04:35:47 PM
where do these noob turds appear from asking dumb shit every 5 mins.

When do  btc holders pay noobs turds to take their btc off of their hands?

Start getting real

2492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suicide due to losses due to investment in virtual currency on: February 05, 2018, 04:01:18 PM
Sad
A Korean student has committed suicide after falling into a depression because of a big loss of money invested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. A 20-year-old Korean student has been found to have committed suicide after falling into depression due to huge losses in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The body of the victim was found at his home. The victim has earned 200 million won (about 200,000$) from investments in cryptocurrency.
it's so sad. Rest in peace.

She should not have killed herself, bitcoin is not over and can still rise again, she's too quick to conclude things.

Was female? in this case could be many other mental issues at that age in a females life to cause such actions. Females of late teens /early 20's notorious for this kind of thing. I have not examined the current scientific or psychological studies to explain this but it is a critial time frame for femals naturally. Males tend to top themselves later in life again that explanation for that is not something I have examined.

Regardless very sad but you can be sure the mass media will be diving on this news like the vulturous scum they are trying to whip up some reaction.

I mean so many girls have committed suicide because someone said they were fat or ugly on face book .... should we regulate who can use face book.

This is sad news but putting due to virtual currency as the sole cause is of course incorrect. It was probably just one of the multiple triggers for this action.

2493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suicide due to losses due to investment in virtual currency on: February 05, 2018, 03:50:20 PM
come on let's be serious if we listed every suicide due to financial loss in every market then there would be an entire sub forum for it.

sad news but regardless of the reason for loss you would need to have other serious issues to take this action.

Stable individuals simply do not kill themselves over financial loss especially at such a young age.

Sad news no doubt but not something virtual currency can be held be responsible for. There would be other factors.

During the big stock market crashes droves of people took this way out.

People who run their own business which goes bankrupt also take this kind of sever action.

I don't think you can base regulation on the 1 person from millions of people that take this action due to one factor of many in their lives.

2494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: “Crypto Fraud “ of the year on: February 05, 2018, 01:58:20 PM
INITIAL DISTRIBUTION IS KEY TO ALL CRYPTO

ICOS OR POW IF THEY HAVE NOT DISTRIBUTED CORRECTLY AND WIDELY THEN SHORT TERM OR LONG TERM YOU ARE DOOMED.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IF the United States were to put regulations on cryptos, what do you think ? on: February 05, 2018, 01:55:19 PM
Of course no ban

Of course regulations will be enforced hard for tax

that's the only way they will allow mainstream adoption.

new york just approved a large electricity contract for bitcoin mining did they not. I can actually see the USA catching up and taking over china now they are out in terms of being the new crypto leader. To me the US has been a bit of a slouch picking up on crypto compared to JAP and other nations. They need to get going with it faster and harder.

When the winds of change come - some build walls others build windmills.

Strangely that is an old chinese proverb.
2496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your best ICOs! on: February 05, 2018, 01:41:50 PM
Hey peeps!

I missed out on yesterday's Arcblock ICO  Cry because of this i am looking for new icos to invest in.

Shill me your best icos and I'll do my research on them before investing Smiley

How did you miss out??

if it was a capped insta ICO sold in a few hours scam... then it was and still is a scam and one to avoid in the future.

ICO's must be widely advertised and open ended or they are a scam
2497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suicide due to losses due to investment in virtual currency on: February 05, 2018, 01:26:03 PM
When the stock markets have crashed before many people have taken the same action.

WHat i don't get here is he gained 200k and then killed himself?  what you do mean he thought he lost but then after he died it turns out his coins mooned or what?

Or do you mean he lost 200k of his initial investment?

I see many more of these to come if they invest in ICO's most will turn out to be scams or failures.

Stick to well known developement teams who have produced something of value that is already functional that way some value is locked in if it has a good use case.

sad story though. 20 is young age to do this

2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 05, 2018, 06:49:03 AM
My thought is a good PR is better than a good marketer. Being in industry articles is way more important than marketing campaigns.

Also a good rebranding may be quite useful to promote the coin. In particular, Raiblocks rebranded to Nano, which looks much better. I believe, if Byteball rebranded to Bytes (Balls is also an option Grin), that would draw more attention on Coinmarketcap.

And we need more exchanges. XRB was listed on Binance due to its active community. Why Byteball can't do that? Maybe March distribution will change something.

First change the units to megabytes then ticker mega

POW coins are going to make a big comeback

POW with fair launch protocol like back in 2013 is the only trustless way to distribute coins.
