2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 01, 2017, 02:40:49 PM

2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does Kraken support Segwit type address to withdraw? on: September 01, 2017, 02:35:48 PM
I was trying to withdraw a small amont of LTC to a Trezor from Kraken. Trezor gave me an LTC address, which starts with "M", so it's SegWit address.
When I have entered this address to Kraken, it gave me back an error message: "Invalid Litecoin address provided"
Did anyone faced similar problem? I've made google search, but nothing special. Thanks for the help in advance!

AFAIK the Kraken there is no statement about Segwit2x yet. As they have not signed that agreement. If the LTC address with the letter M starts does not work why not use the usual address.

is this also true for bitcoin? they are not signaling it for bitcoin too or just litecoin?
2503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top "must have" coins? on: September 01, 2017, 02:34:29 PM
Hello everyone, i'm just wondering what are your top "must have" coins that you think everyone should have? (for long term especially)

i think rain is a very good coin to have for long term, offers a very good pos reward, and the dev plans to have masternodes, so after the hard cap you can keep getting your coin, now this coin is only pos pow ended
2504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pura future on: September 01, 2017, 02:33:44 PM
A new coin comes in the name of pura already listed on coinexchange and official launch on exchanges on 28th august. What is the future of this new coin?

is this one? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2129477.0, how is this on exchange if it's not released lol, what i think it's that this oen is a clone of dash, nothing interesting to talk about
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins that are most likely interesting to invest in nowadays ? on: September 01, 2017, 02:32:17 PM
Hello guys,

I'd like to ask you about the best coins to invest in beside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, & Ripple.
Any Ideas, would be appreciated, I hope you'll give your idea + some reasonable argument for it, thanks in advance  Grin
BTC  Cool Cool

i think spreadcoin, signatum are good coins to invest now, they are fresh coin, and offer good possibility, spreadcoin holder get free helium coins, which is a new coin, and signatum is still a very hot coin
2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SKUNKHASH] Magnatum - Signatum Fork - No Limit - Unique Feature on: September 01, 2017, 08:25:47 AM
How this coin is different from signatum?

Liquid Blocks
The interval between blocks decreases in
proportion to the number of transactions, increasing
the network bandwidth, but preserving the currency
emission by reducing the reward.

Dat is unique feature

dont you think large supply per year is a problem?

yes especially because the supply is infinite, and this is stupid, the inflation will keep increase, this coin can't have a high value, but maybe the block reward will reach a very minimal reward?
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs should be Regulated but not by Government? on: August 31, 2017, 02:49:20 PM
ico are regulated in some country like they regulate crypto, i think if they don't regulate altcoin at all there is no reason to regulate ico, ico are altcoin if you see them in this way what's the difference between someone investing in altcoin on exchange and ico? none for me
2508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Explain Ethereum Proof of Stake on: August 31, 2017, 08:38:58 AM
you must be new to pos lol, pos is very simple, if ethereum use the standard pos and not decred ticket pos, will be like any other pos, where your balance is the mining hashrate, and generate other coin
2509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 31, 2017, 08:37:54 AM
it's because they speculate lol, you can do this in trading that basically feed your own investment, you buy at X rate a X amount, you then pump the coin to another higher X rate, and now you can dump on your pump lol, repeat, while other investors help you pumping your shitcoin

What's your favorite 3 altcoins and why?

I hope to discover new cool altcoins after this post
 Grin

my favorite 3 altcoin are spreadcoin, nexus and signatum, they have good dev and nice future project, they will explode after their features will be released, i also like them because they are still small but have huge potential, a big room to grow
2511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new Bitcoin on: August 31, 2017, 08:33:17 AM
Funny you mention it, just saw this project, could be the next BIG thing

you are delusional i don't think we can replace bitcoin ever, bitcoin is the king the most mined and accepted, and secured, other coin are very susceptible to attack and they don't offer anything new relevant, if this is another new ico will not beat bitcoin for sure
2512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you look for in a new coin? on: August 31, 2017, 08:32:08 AM
So, I've been thinking about looking into developing a coin at some stage.
I'd like to know what everyone looks for when supporting a new coin?
What kind of things do you like?
What don't you like?

i like coin with new algorithm, but i also like a good roadmap, with an active dev, i think an active dev is everything, if the dev if often mia your coin will die quickly, i also dislike the coin that go on small exchange first, it's better to aim big from the start
2513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ on: August 31, 2017, 08:09:11 AM
When I can buy BlackByte on exchanges?

it was say above you you can do it with the transaction, bot but it's a bit confusing because you need to use MB/MBB for selling your blackbytes

There is now a bot for Blackbytes trading: AxV6ohKFORqIGfGqCZgjK1HlL8vBiNltcWWaI0Rc9yN+@byteball.fr/bb#0000
You can sell or buy batches of Blackbytes chatting with this bot.

it is marked as semi-trustless at the store. What does it mean and how does it differ from BEEP bot?

how to use the bot? i launch the client and copy past that link on my browser? but all i get is upgrade required, and nothing happened, i have the last version

In you wallet top left menu go to "PAIRED DEVICES" then "BOT STORE" and click on "Blackbytes Exchange BEEB (Trustful)".

what is the correct sintax for selling? all this MB/MBB is confusing

2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are too low! on: August 30, 2017, 02:31:08 PM
Have a heart for the poor miners.

edit 20sat/b is way too low.

they are 420 satoshis/byte, where do you get 20 sat from? they are still very high, but it's because segwit is not used i think, otherwise should be lower
2516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: August 30, 2017, 02:29:45 PM
I am newcomer and very interested about bitcoin. I need a wallet before I am purchase some bitcoin. What is the best and most secure bitcoin wallet?

Your suggestion is very important to me

use bitcoin core it's the best and most secure, but require a large storage at first for synching the blockchain, but then you can use the prune mode to reduce space
