2521  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] What have you learned on BITCOINTALK FORUM? Share Your Experiences. on: November 07, 2019, 06:59:01 PM

I know that some of us here came to this forum for money and thru the years, the main purpose of this forum which is to spread information about cryptocurrency has been slowly removed. I always say, read and read and read. Rich people right now didn't become rich in an instant. They spend many hours reading. Learn here on the forum, use the search button because most of the knowledge that we need regarding crypto is here already. Its just we don't have time to read. Thanks. Smiley
Well, sadly due to peoples big need to earn and make a living or sometimes out of greed. they tend to take advantage of things that was being freely given to them right in front of them because they all want more, people tend to want for more. for more better and for something very big up to something impossible and that is to earn so much through this forum. They think there's a shortcut into getting rich, little do they know that the things that they are taking for granted is akso the same thing that could help them.
2522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: November 07, 2019, 06:49:41 PM
The KYC process annoys the hell out of me. I remember a time when you could trade coins freely and without owning up to your identity at all. Not that I'm hiding anything, I just don't like every man and his dog having a copy of my government ID - I feel that's very intrusive. I mean the whole idea of cryptocurrency was anonymous peer-to-peer trading without government intervention. Now it seems you can't fart in the wrong direction without someone breathing down your neck.

I mean I get it, exchanges, ICO's, etc, want to be on the safe side -- although what I really object to is these places accepting my crypto first and then telling me that I need to give them a mugshot if I want to use it, or withdraw it again. It's a nightmare.

Anyone else a bit miffed with all this identity craziness we're in right now?

Or am I just being a grumpy old man?
Although KYC seems to contrasts the essence of  anonimity feature of crypto, its undeniable that this Know your customer is really very helpful especially for those who are making big transactions and needs to guarantee safety. Your annoyance won't matter to them and won't do anything because everyone is still traceable despite of the anonymous feature that was introduced to us.
2523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: November 07, 2019, 06:44:54 PM
Please stop your whining here if your friend dont know nothing about blockchain and crypto then teach him so he can be independent

Don't let them invest in what they don't know about

how can you invest into somthing if you have no clue about what are you investing in at first place or is just about 21st century beg??
Why would someone invest into something they don't have any clue about? They must know something about it but just knew it the wrong way or have fed wrong information. Let us all help building a new environment here in crypto space. that one that is free of scam victims because of being naive and showing negligence of the things that you could have done something about. By this time the reason "I didn't know isn't acceptable because ignorance is not an excuse since it was your own responsibikity to feed yourself essential information.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: November 07, 2019, 06:37:22 PM

Who won't need a good project? Its just like collecting experiences and knowledge so you could present a nice resume. Enthusiasts needs to know that in every aspext of their life here in crypto space,  continouos learning is very essential because the world keeps on emerging and innovating learning what to consider before you can tell that the project is good will surely help you avoid loses.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: November 07, 2019, 06:29:17 PM
How to choose a good investment project
I understand that many of us do not suggest investing in ICO but I have to say not every ICO scam, invest in IEO no matter  the  exchange is, it is better than investing in ICO.
However, these steps help to judge the project.
1.   The team behind the project, it is extremely important to see who guides the project, experiments, are they able to implement the road map.
2.   The idea of the project, what the project solve, is the project can change something or introduce something new.
3.   What has been done and are there any steps the team is taking to prove credibility.
4.   Is the project is ICO or IEO, IEO will be better.
5.   How many exchanges the project listing.
6.   The type of the exchanges(however this is not issues as some project cannot go with top exchanges, top exchanges required a lot money).
7-     check (twitter, facebook, telegram, website metrics).
8-     It will be good if the project has ann on bitcointalk forum.
9-     Pay attention to what the team promised, it should not be far from reality or promises to enrich or quick profit (such as 200% profit).
10-   Look for old project in the market at least 3 month old.

What makes an Investor flawed is skipping the part where they get to know who manages and who are the people behind a project, they only focuses with how much profit the project could offer to them, totally compromising the safety and the credibility a project must have before being qualified as a project worth investing.Investors and al the crypto enthusiasts should know how essential it is to do a background check, not only for the safety of their investments and assets but also for the sake of building the world here in crypto space where we are all a contibutor.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: November 07, 2019, 05:52:15 PM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?
We can't really tell what we can do to punish them because things like this is beyond and out of our control so sadly we can't really guarantee that there could be an action to save the kind of world we want to create here in crypto space butbwe can still do something about not being a victim of scam ICOs and preventing beginners to be scammed by being educated and knowledgeable about this type of scams, then raise awareness about it or giving some tips about careful and wise decision making in terms of choosing ICOs.
2527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: November 07, 2019, 05:41:52 PM
That’s pretty simple: Patience. Don’t be afraid that you’re going to miss out on the next big thing. The crypto market is constantly growing and changing and there’s more than enough investment and trade to go around for everyone. Don’t invest in altcoins that you aren’t sure about, don’t give into FOMO, and don’t trade above your means.

Patience is the very key attribute a trader should have, the volatility of the coins, the market price, the unpredictable movements of chart, issues m, bullish and bearish trends are surely going to test a trader's patience. Although having knowledge is also essential, being someone who has knowledge alone but doesn't have enough patience could still result to losing and unsuccessful in trading. The need to make a very solid decision once they entered trading isn't possible without long patience.
2528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: November 07, 2019, 05:27:07 PM
Comparison is really killing the trade business. Most traders have left their trading plan because they feel they are not making enough money but forgetting that they are suppose to believe in their skills and gradually develop the capital.
People are busy comparing theirselves to other people about where they are right now and where other people are. Thinking and seeing that the grass on other garden is greener thamntheirs but isn't doing their thing to make their own grass greener, instead they would copy other's planting strategy without knowing that there is healthier, greener and so much abundance waiting for them with their own strategy and just needs time to develop but then they would abandon it and try what might not suit them, this analogy is very much suited for trading. How jealousy and wanting other people's luck could ruin what has been planned and awaits you.
2529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading simulator about cryptocurrency on: November 07, 2019, 04:59:48 PM
Is there any trading simulator in trading or a game that you could practice trading about bitcoin or cryptocurrency?
So beginners could start trading without any hesitations.
There are pretty much number of trading platforms that offers trials that are using different trading strategies that might suit you. There is e-toro and  it could bevery suitable for beginners because it's automated and isn't that hard to use for a beginner. But as a beginner, you should also consider studying how trading works because its still your strategy and is in your hand where you're tradung relies in the end, tradung platforms are just tools the work is still yours.
2530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware! You are not safe if you are using facebook! on: November 06, 2019, 06:44:21 PM
Beware! You are not safe if you are using facebook

because facebook is a network which is managed by CIA, and not only CIA, there are many more agencies those are tracking you, including all of your activities, and furthermore, facebook does not care about your privacy, last year, facebook sold 250+ million users data.
This isn't a secret trying to be hidden from people, in fact you could even notice it by yourself because there are instances that facebook will show you advertisements being timely relevant, surprisingly known by facebook when in fact you only talked about it with one person on your facebook messenger, was that a coincidence? Nope, I don't think so. Now that people knew about it, of course they won't stop uaing the app just because of that but they could take caution and filter out informations that they are spilling upon using it.
2534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: See a bitcoin/crypto scam site? Don't just ignore it. Report it. on: November 06, 2019, 06:06:49 PM
This could be through scam promotions on Bitcointalk, Reddit, or any other social media sites, or maybe through Google ads, etc. Instead of just completely ignoring it, spend a few seconds reporting the scam site as to hopefully prevent potential victims from falling for these scams. Even if the difference to be made probably is just minuscule, it could make a difference.

Remember, it only takes a few seconds.

Everyone is at stake with these scam bitcoin/cryptocurrency sites so it would be of big help taking and making even little actions to stop it. We can.make a better crypto community by spreading awareness also, it could be in a way of reporting it to social media crypto groups or making a thread about it here in forum, giving advices about how you found it, how it's scheme works and hoe to avoid it.
2535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: November 06, 2019, 06:01:33 PM
There is a major issue which is becoming resistance in the way of Bitcoin to be accepted globally and it is its "Volatility".
In the near past we have seen Bitcoin dropping more than 15% in a matter of 3-4 hours. And there are a number of cases in the past like this.

This property is too much dangerous for any entity which is holding Bitcoin. If a company sells products/services of 10000$ and receive payment in Bitcoin, and bitcoin loses 10% in one day then basically company has lost 10% worth of their products.

Scenarios where gross profit margins of the companies are less, this property makes nearly impossible to accept payments in Bitcoin. If volatility of bitcoin is decreased in the future, it would be  a major step ahead.
Bitcoins volatility could be lessen and is controllable with the help of massive adoption. If there will be lots of users. There are theory that suggests that the volatility if bitcoin could drop if there would be an increase in business and customer usage. The reason of the latter is, the sensitivity of the exchange rate is being lessen by tge usage of payment creating an estimation that there's a large welfare loss of 1.4% of consumption that the current Bitcoin scheme generates. It could be lessen substantially to 0.08% by adopting an optimal design reducing mining and just focuses exclusively on money growth.
2536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Will not Ban Bitcoin Mining! on: November 06, 2019, 05:24:04 PM
China will not refuse such an opportunity
China is known to have a great political management and great leaders that's why their economic status is also great, and there's no way  China won't let an opportunity this big slip through their grasp. Also their president Xi Jinping announced that they would support and will invest for a further research about blockchain and other businesses related to it, one of those is bitcoin.
2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: November 06, 2019, 04:54:55 PM
bitcoin is being used in so many places throughout the world but it can be so much more. It's obvious that there are so many freelancers in every country. Firms, companies, startups etc.. have a limitation that they can hire freelancers only from their country since they can pay them only in their native currency to avoid hassle of exchange. But if firms, companies, startups etc.. start using bitcoin as a payment method to hire freelancers then there will be so many opportunities for the freelancers since they can get work from anywhere in the world. I don't know why has  this not become a huge thing until now. This could really change the life of freelancers and give a better end result/product to the company they are working for.
The main point of the trend of uaing bitcoin by freelancers is because butcoin is hassle free and doesn't need any intermediaries to perform any transactions just do it and your done. Also using it doesn't have taxes so theres no decrease if their profits. Bitcoin only makes freelancing easier but doesn't have anything to do with freelancing directly. Like it was only used as payment method but as for the works needed, that's only natural, nothing special, its just like how the freelancing are doing even before the bitcoin era.
2538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology "bottled" up on: November 06, 2019, 03:32:26 PM
Read the full story: https://www.forrestvisions.com/blog/blog-post-blockchain-technology-bottled-up

It is always good news to hear that companies are exploring the possibilities that blockchain technology can bring. Even if they are not using Bitcoin, it is still helping the community. I think some people are oftentimes looking into their own self-interest and thinking about the "profits" which is why Bitcoin is always the front of the conversation. However, some other good things are happening in the cryptocurrency space that doesn't offer an immediate investment. Thoughts?
Putting bitcoin and profits out of the picture, blockchain could still pave its way to the mainstream because of it's usability and its technology. China's president Xi JinPing's announcement of  urging banks about upgrading their application using blockchain technology and supporting the idea of using blockchain related transactions and business. Blockchain's ability a digital ledger and its ability to keep record across many computers, the records cannot be retroactively altered without manipulation within the blocks is really what a bank and a financing industry needs.
2539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: November 05, 2019, 06:24:13 PM
The biggest mistakes developers make that leads to bad ending for many projects are

1. Huge Discounts
Many new projects are still making this mistake over and over again, huge discounts like 50% is insane and it always bother me how the hell the early buyers won't end up dumping since they have already see big profits.

2. Lack Of Solid Products and Ideas
Lack of working products and real use cases is why many investors are not taking new projects very seriously, no one would want to hold such tokens or coins for long, developers need to start working on how their project's token or coin will be very demanding throughout the globe

3. Bad Exchanges
Imagine new projects that make over millions of dollars in ico or ieo and end up listing on bad exchanges with no enough volume, what do they expect to happen?

This types of mistakes are usually a result of lack of strategy in handling or managing projects. Most people are already jumping into the business without really studying the nature of it, not bothering to know what could be the possible failures that the project could possibly end up making them caught off guard once bad luck hits them. It's important to identify what are the threats waiting for the business so you could already come up with a counter plan to avoid it.
2540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 05, 2019, 06:16:57 PM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
It would be helpful if you'll do another backgeound check about the campaign so that you could clear your mind with the doubts regarding the credibikity of the bounty. Second, it really depends on the situation, there are times that the bounty is prolonging the campaign because the demand is good and the project is having a good outcome or the project isn't meeting its goal with their initial time frame so they extend it to meet the goal and this isn't actually good. Identify whether of the two sitiations you are in so that you could decide.
