1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made yoi think of investing in bitcoin at the current market? on: November 18, 2020, 06:32:51 PM
No need to ask again, because history will repeat itself,
and that is certain to be true, many factors influence the increase in bitcoin,
one of which is mass adoption, this is a very healthy increase, because compared to 2017,
2020 is an increase because bitcoin fundamentals are much more well and this will be a bullish start.
What's the substance of this claim? History of a market price which is volatile in nature and is having no consistency with its direction? Reality is simple, no one is certain of the futuristic behavior of Bitcoin and other cryptos simply because things happen in an unpredictable manner. Since you have mentioned history, are you aware on how huge the expectations were in the same year when Bitcoin reached its ATH? There were expectations of a higher market price but what happened is the total opposite of their expectations. Same thing occurred on the following years and that I think is a more valid reason.

But to invest or not, I'd choose to hold and wait for the dump to occur if there will be, to be able to buy at a lower market price and earn bigger profit. Investing at this moment is more risky I think. Since I don't want to risk that much, I'll just be patient with how the market behaves.
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 18, 2020, 05:52:09 PM
It's just that people who play gambling for fun will be able to overcome greed and only place bets on what they can afford to lose. So when they lose in gambling, they won't push their luck, or even play again to recover that loss (at least not in a hurry to do it).

You are right. If someone gambles only for fun, he will never get addicted to it. Because if he thinks gambling is just a game, he will gamble with the money he will use to spend on hobbies. So even if he loses in gambling, he will not faces any problem. So take gambling only as fun, and stay happy.
If I'm not mistaken, this is probably the reason why such activity was made, which is to just kill time. It just involves money which gave weigh to its importance for the gamblers. Some are even putting their fate on it towards a wealthy life but that's a Misconception. Cliché as it may sound but the house will always win. There are players winning jackpots but surely, more players are losing big time. Due to greed and frustrations, losses just keep on bloating from aiming to also win just like the lucky players in this industry. It won't be easy to all of us but we should really limit ourselves from gambling too much because we will just expose ourselves in risks from doing so.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 16, 2020, 06:23:21 PM
Most crypto users are familiar with the HODL (Hold On for Dear Life). It's a good thing if you can HODL. I want to say HODL for dear life, not for lifetime. There is a reason why am I saying that. During the last bull run in 2017, I had more than enough funds to start a real life business by selling my Bitcoin. And to be honest, starting a real life business was too important for me since I was doing a job abroad. But sadly, I was greedy and had been waiting for more bumps. Eventually, I regret and now I can't do anything with that fund since bought a dew worthless shitcoin.

So if I HODL for dear life, then I should sell it for my need. Even I would won more BTC now since there were many opportunities when bitcoin dropped up to $3K.

What's your opinion? Should we HODL for Life or for Lifetime?

Just Hold for life because for me holding bitcoin has a limitation and timeframe where you will be able to sell it to gain profit. When you say hold for lifetime , it means you will just hold it and there's no plan to sell. Bitcoin price is very volatile and not stable which means you need to buy when the price is low and hold it until the price go up and take your profit. Then after that you are going to buy again in deep then hold again. This is just a cycle.
Your statement of holding for a lifetime contradicts your idea of buying during the low times and selling at high times. You should Address it in such way that there will be good times to sell, and holding alone will not give you profit. This is the mistake of some investors; the price is already "high" to the point that selling as this early won't make you regret doing so, but they will rather hold-still anticipating bigger profit, then correction will occur in a sudden. They will be left nothing to do but to again wait for another market price increase which is uncertain on its occurrence.
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 16, 2020, 05:44:08 PM
however you should be grateful, because you can sell it at $ 14100,
maybe a lot of people sell Bitcoin at $ 10000 because when the price is $ 10000 a lot of traps and make people think down,
but this is not the end for you, you can buy it back.
What's done is done already. And that is correct, some people made "bigger" mistakes at a lower market price compared to OP's selling point. But what we have here is circumstances. Those who are not having that much of financial problems could take market dumps more than those who are too secured with profit. Investors are simply selling at the early point to secure the profit because they cannot afford having no profit at all once correction occur in a sudden, which is on the other hand possible due to natural market volatility. Whether to sell early or not, it does depend on the investor's situation.
1625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: November 14, 2020, 01:40:34 PM
I don't know what will happen in the future, but in my personal opinion Bitcoin is currently more than 50% only used for investment or trading. Even though Bitcoin actually has the purpose of being the corpse of digital money, I don't think its use is yet optimal.
That's because of limitation regarding its usage as an investment. Also to which it is more beneficial for the users. Bitcoin provides convenience to the users when it comes on transactions but it is also a profitable investment. Given the aspect of profit, it is not surprising to know that more users are into investments than casual users of such digital currency. And the possible reason regarding this concern is that people are having second thoughts of spending their bitcoin on daily basis since it has a tendency to generate profit as its market value is increasing. But to whether being a currency or an investment, it does depend on the user itself on how will such technology be used.
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people rebel against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2020, 11:32:15 AM
Last few months I saw an article, that make me shocked, how some killer open their mouth in the court to tell the judge how the woman paid them with bitcoin to her husband that is making court to start investigating how the transaction was made to carry out such act. Assume it's fiat money she use to pay the killer, do you think the court will still like to investigate the  type of currency used for the operation?
India is trying to Re-ban bitcoin in the country just because some people said is a scam currency.
What is your opinion?
Why will the court do such thing? It would be a waste of time. More likely, they will focus on the "killing" incident, and the mode of payment has nothing to do with it. Imagine if fiat is the medium of payment in this case, will there be changes? The killer won't still be caught due to such reason. They should more investigate to how did the crime happen. I don't really get the topic itself. Why should we be against Bitcoin due to its involvement in crime, wherein it is a fact that other digital currencies and fiat currencies are also being involved to such activities?

1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 22, 2020, 11:55:53 PM
If you are already seeing yourself losing on the gambling games you do play, better stop for a while and better get your luck the next time around. Do not aim to chase your losses for you will just end up wiping out all your funds seeking to recover the money you have loss in the gamvling game you have engaged with. There are still lots of chances of playing so do not put all your money into a one day of getting happy go lucky. Once you have already noticed that you are losing consecutively, better back off and go home rather than chasing for loses that you cannot further recover for the fact that you will just be risking your money into near wipe out once you chase your loss on hoping that you can recover your money.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 22, 2020, 11:28:15 PM
The discovery and creation of a vaccine for a new virus is really expected to be so hard to be done so we can really expect that it might take long before a vaccine could be available in the market and can be safely used by any people for we all do know that we have different immunization so a vaccine to be created must be safe to all mankind having no worsening of the problem which it supposedly end up the covid-19 to be able for us to get back to normal meaning no face mask, no health threat and the economy can undergo recovery. We all know that it might take long for the vaccine so as much as possible we must take good care of ourselves first until the vaccine becomes available for all of us.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 22, 2020, 10:38:57 PM
There are certain field of works that using robots can efficiently do the task faster and a lot more accurate compared to humans but still that does not guarantee that robots can now replace humans for there are still certain field of works that humans can do a lot better than robots which give it a tie for both parties. Why there is a certain need for replacement when both humans and robots can be in companion on things to make all those a lot easier to get accomplished combining both humans and robots working all at the same time. Robots are invented not to replace humans, but it is to make workloads easier to be carry out and executed for robots are classified as machines that makes work a lot easier.
1633  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 21, 2020, 11:56:24 PM
I am very blessed that up until now I do still have my job even at the presence of this pandemic that we all do know many have been negatively affected due to lockdown and quarantine which brought people to stay indoors and temporarily to permanently not be able to get to work making many people jobless which is really a big difficulty on where they will be getting their money for expenses because they cannot be entirely be dependent on the government's assistance because they do still have lots of expenses that the assistance fund cannot fully cover. But let us just all hope that sooner before this year ends or early next year, vaccine will be discovered that can totally fix the problem so that all can get back to their works or seeking for another job opportunities.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 21, 2020, 11:36:52 PM
Still even with the existence of such innovative machine known as robots that are intended to make works easier and faster at the same time, still humans are much greater and irreplaceable specially when it comes flexibility and skills required to do the tasks. Upon watching the attached video, yes, it is really impressive to see a robot serving foods to customers but that will only apply on fancy restaurants for if we are talking about mobility or the ability to get in crowded places specially on fast food and low budget restaurant, still humans can do the job even faster and accommodate the customers on a friendly manner which is one of the characteristics I always seek upon eating on a restaurant because food is really the basis but the additional factor comes on how accomodating the waiters and the personnels are towards their customers.
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 21, 2020, 11:00:52 PM
Almost all countries experiencing pandemic is already slowly re-opening their economy because it cannot taken for too long staying into such situation that they won't do anything and just keep on waiting for the vaccine to come wherein we are still not yet sure on when it will happen. Slowly re-opening of the economy is just good to slowly get into the recovery stage after the direct negative impact that this pandemic have brought up affecting both health and economic concerns. It won't make the pandemic worst if the people and government will keep coordinated on implementing the strict health protocols to prevent the further spread of virus because if they won't do such, then expect that it will really get worst. But if they wanted to slowly get back to normal, then be cooperative and think not just for yourself but also for the people around you.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 20, 2020, 11:24:12 PM
For me, the effort of players and the team management as well to bring back the live sports event despite of the fact that there is still an on going pandemic that will prohibit mass gathering so no audience will be present at live stadiums to witness the game to follow the health protocols to avoid the spread of virus is already a big move towards success because even at this difficult time, still they have managed to bring back the sports event even without supporters watching them and they are playing like in a practice game. This was just a temporary set up so it was just fine and we must be contented on that for once the cure have been discovered, we can already get back to the old times. But for now, the gaming in the new normal for me is still a success and not a failure.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 20, 2020, 10:54:45 PM

My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.

What you can just learn and strategize on playing roulette is the amount you spend on playing. Other than that, it is purely based on luck already for the fact that roulette is a life application of the mathematical topic which is probability wherein roulette is making use of random spin to showcase the prize or reward you are going to receive for playing. You cannot barely strategize on how to play roulette for you are fighting against the game of chances which is lucky people can attain to win the biggest prize on the roulette.

1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 03, 2020, 11:48:21 PM
Bounty scam will not go away as long as there are hunters that are willing to join even if the project is an obvious scam. But it is good to see that there are now social media campaigns that are bitcoin paying. Though we already saw that before, but seems, it is going back again. The good thing is that the manager handling that campaign does accept btc and not token or unknown alt. That is also for the welfare of the participants. At least, they are sure that they are getting paid with valuable coin rather than worthless token that is not yet listed in an exchange.

I agree. Bounty scams will never go away just that fast and seamless as long as there are members that are patronizing bounty campaigns even most are already obvious scams that are trying to lure new members to get an engagement with them.

Everyone always hopes that there are no fraudulent projects on this forum but it will never happen. fraud is always rampant, we don't even know that scammers are around us. but as a bounty hunter you can still avoid reporting allegations of the Scam project and warn people not to get involved in it either.

Yes. We literally and sincerely hope for that thing to make happen but it seems like too impossible to be done because there are still people who creates or developes fraudulent projects and scam people that are not yet familiar in this industry.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 03, 2020, 10:19:35 PM
Hi, guys!

Do you have any idea what will be the next trend for 2021?

I guess NFT, but what is your opinion?

Let's discuss it!

Thanks.

I haven't heard of that NFT anyway, I seriously do not have any idea about this coin you were talking about but since you have mentioned, I might try to research about that all due out of curiousity because if you were aiming to say that it will be the next trend for 2021, then it must be something in there.

Actually I do not have any idea as for now what will be the next trend for 2021 for we are still months before the year ends and still we are on the problematic stages of our lives because of the current situation in our surroundings. But maybe before the year ends, a clue would come out what will be the next trend in the year 2021.
