Why would you treat others the way you want to be treated? Wouldn't it be smarter to treat them the way they want to be treated? Not everyone wants to be treated the way you like to be treated so that's not much of a golden rule.
It's money that was stolen and should be reclaimed. You talk about being placid over taxes but I think the ones who are truly accepting are the ones just blindly paying. If you understand that taxes is theft and that money belongs to you and you have the right to reclaim it any way you can, then you should pursue it. Government money will just be used to drop bombs on brown people somewhere or to buy cheeseburgers for a family of degenerates so why not get as much as you can and put it towards something worthy?

If they kept the money they stole from you separated somewhere so that you could reclaim your money back, I would understand it.
But that's not the case.
Government makes you complicit by giving you the money of someone else.

Listen, if you are sometimes morally unsure in such situations, I found it helpful to replace the words taxation or stealing with the word RAPE. Then suddenly everything becomes absolutely clear.

So they stole from you, and now you think you can steal the money back.
So you were raped by government and now you think that you are somehow entitled to rape someone else.

That's also what you mean when you say "it would be smarter to treat them the way they want to be treated"... sounds very self-righteous to me.
I have the impression that your desire to be an anarchist doesn't come from moral principles but is more like an act of rage... And act of revenge.
You were hurt and now you want to hurt someone.

You never have the right to hurt someone. You only have the right to defend yourself.

I hope that one day, millions of people will stand up and hunt the tax collectors away, like they did before.
THAT would be morally acceptable. Not believing that one wrong justifies another wrong.

Again, using social Marxism to try and pressure me into acting in what you define as a socially acceptable manner. Why are the people demonstrating, people attacked, 'punks'? I think most of you are in the wrong place, darkcoin was never meant to be a mainstream, good samaritan coin. it was meant for the dark web, for anarchists, and for libertarians.  It's so we can avoid illegal taxes and can purchase goods outside the spying eyes of big brother. There are two different types of anarchist, and we don't get along at all, actually polar opposite. And if you put these two types of anarchists in the same room they will never see eye to eye. I am an anarcho-capitalist.. the other is an anarcho-communist which is what an "anarchist" has traditionally been. I hate commies.

It's not about socially acceptable manner. It's about first principles. Do unto others as you would have them do to you (Golden Rule)

Punks are still statists who don't want to get rid of government, they would rather have THEIR OWN kind of tyrannical government to boss people around the way THEY like.
People who are demonstrating are never anarchists... demonstrators are still statists and still believe they can change government by playing by its rules (voting the right politician, passing legislation xy, etc)
Anarchists don't demonstrate, they simply boycott and refuse any cooperation with statists and government.

How can you be an anarcho-capitalist but desire to get free stuff from government???

Your "plan" makes totally no sense to me, desiring free stuff is totally socialistic to me (and you blame me for using social marxism???).
Nothing is free, someone else has to pay for it.
It's about the moral principles you know. You need principles if you want to be a true anarchist, or else you are just an opporunistic punk who gives a crap about society and likes to "game" the system for his own benefit.

Government is like cancer, I do not want or need ANYTHING from them.
If you accept free stuff from government, you are helping the cancer grow.
I am not going to use this cancer for my own benefit... instead I am going to shun it and help create the system I always dreamed about: Freedom based on morality and voluntaryism.

NEED DARKCOIN BUT HAVE NO MONEY?
There are MANY government assistance programs available that if you qualify can help you get some free darkcoins! One thing you can do is get the free cell phones they give to low income and then sell the entire phone with the minutes it comes with to someone for a set amount or monthly dues. Another thing is EBT cards. You can get food assistance and trade that for money that can be used to purchase darkcoins! Another good tactic is to apply for SSI. Fake an injury that makes it impossible for you to work, use the monthly checks on as much dark as you can get! Any other ideas welcome.

Doesn't work for me.

Am I not feeding the machine when I keep using it?
Government programs are like a protection racket: innocent people are forced at gunpoint to pay taxes, and you have to jump thru many hoops to get some of the money back or to qualify for a program.

I will never work for government, never accept or beg for handouts...

I'd rather work to create an independent system OUTSIDE of government, and make government obsolete over time.

Your plan actually makes the government machine stronger, don't you see?
You think you are hurting government when in reality you become complicit with its exploitation.

I enjoy watching ignorant anarchists like you get pepper sprayed and shot with rubber bullets.

Here's what we do to your kind where I come from.  Is this you bitch?

That's sad.
True anarchists are very peaceful freedom-loving people and have nothing to do with the fascists you show in the photo (both the cops and the punks)...

Don't let bigc1984 paint a wrong picture about the core values of a true anarchist.  Sad

Anyone can call himself anarchist, much like anyone can put on the "anonymous mask" and claim "we are legion"...

I myself am an anarchist, and you don't see me behave like that.
I am against government, and for voluntary interactions with my fellow human beings.
Force and coercion is always wrong. NO exception.
I am living by the non-aggression-principle, and I know how to behave and how to treat other freedomloving people.

So please don't take it out on the anarchists...  Smiley

"You are no less of a slave just because you get to re-choose your master every so many years" - Lysander Spooner

"Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, barter is the money of peasants – but debt is the money of slaves" -Norm Franz

This quote adjusted for todays technology would probably go something like this:
"Gold is the money of centralbanks, darkcoin is the money of gentlemen, bitcoin is the money of peasants – but fiatmoney is the money of slaves"

99.99% of taxes goes towards paying for the INTEREST on debt.

+1.

Now we can argue if it's 99.99% or "just" 80-90%... or something like that... but the biggest part really goes to the banking regime to pay the interest on the money they created out of thin air!

That makes me think that we still have slavery today. It's just more hidden now. Not open slavery with shackles... but hidden slavery with fiat money and taxes... so that most people don't even realize that they are enslaved.

Pretty sure they'll put you in jail for a long time for that. Can't do much to fight the man from behind bars.

The first most important step is to get rid of the brainwashing.
To recognize that taxation is theft, and not "beneficial to society" as they want to make you believe.
Taxation is based on coercion and force, and is therefor immoral.

Ofcourse you should pay taxes... they point a f***ing gun to your head... so it's wise to play along, and pass the wallet to the burglar.

But it is important to NOT have stockholm-syndrome (loving your oppressor) so that you can retain your moral integrity.
But sadly I see stockholm-syndrome everywhere...
people are robbed blind every year, and they don't dare to state the obvious... they would RATHER think that they NEED to be robbed for the benefit of society...

Taxation is the big wrong of our times. Much like slavery was the big wrong for centuries / millenia but most just accepted it.
One day in the far future this will be recognized by everybody and they will say: WTF were they thinking???

2549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | Fork for Masternode Payment on: July 08, 2014, 03:19:17 PM
Privacy is not illegal!
yes, but money laundering is and thats basically what a masternode does.

Money laundering is such a bullshit term... much like "terrorism"... or "thoughcrime"...
It is very dangerous that we let the government decide what "clean money" is, and what "dirty money" is,
because ofcourse money doesn't stink. Money is just numbers.
Government wants to control everything we do, and wants to restrict our possibilities of what we are allowed to do. Therefor they invent bullshit terms like money laundering.

Jon Matonis from bitpay said it best in this article:

Money Laundering is financial thoughtcrime.

http://www.americanbanker.com/bankthink/money-laundering-is-financial-thoughtcrime-1058902-1.html

Thoughtcrime... you are not allowed to think stuff.
Political correctness... you are not allowed to say stuff.
Money laundering.... you are not allowed to use your money the way you like.

Wake up people, what happened to "protection from confiscation" against corrupt governments?
This was a notion that has always been important since the dawn of history. It is never illegal to secure yourself against the people who want to damage you.
It doesn't matter if those people have funny costumes and badges and call themselves government. That's just theater to make you think they have somekind of "god given" authority over you.

Primer. I wish cancer upon you.

I wish the same to you and your entire family.

I haven't posted in a while... so I came back to ask what's going on with this coin and why the continuing price decline...

... and I see people who wish cancer to their respective families... lol..  Huh

WTF???

About a month ago I discovered Darkcoin. I bought in over .02 after reading about what it was trying to do. I invested far more than I should have as I was certain it would keep going up.

I am in absolute despair right now, I still haven't told my wife how much I lost. Honestly, I'm terrified of the thought. It was money we could have used as a down payment on a house, or to send the kids to college. Money that pretty much would have been useful somewhere else.

We live in an apartment and have been saving for a house for years.

I'm sick to my stomach now. I can't sleep at night because my mind races through series of 'what-ifs.' I honestly don't know what to do. How do I tell my wife the money is gone?

I'm thinking about leaving everything behind and going off to some other country as that is how heavy the burden feels right now. I know my kids would miss me but I can't stand the thought of them knowing how much of a failure I am.

It's hard to read about all these people talking about all their profits and how much they made. I hope they realize for everything they've gained is off the back of someone like me who saw something they thought was a worthwhile investment and got burned.

Man, you have not lost anything until you sell.

Right on.
Fatherof5 (strange name makes your story sound like typical trolling)... but that besides... you only realize a loss if you sell at a lower price than where you bought in.
If I were you, I would keep on believing in DarkCoin and help it succeed in one of the many ways that exist:

Tell other people about its benefits. (Socialmedia, etc)
Tell businesses you know about DarkCoin and work with them to adapt DarkCoin...
Help DarkCoin by creating Videos, Advertizing, Websites, Services, etc.. (I don't know your skillset though)

Oh, and also:

You can always offset a not so favourable DRK position, by buying more at a much lower price, and therefore getting a better AVERAGE price.
But I don't know how deep you are in the shits. But if you bet your house to get rich quick, although you have "5 children"... well you get no sympathy from me...

361 coins on coinmarketcap. All competing. All trying to attract the same money.

I wouldn't look at it this way.

The worlds available investment capital is in the TENS OF TRILLIONS, not the laughable 10 billions that the total cryptocoin marketcap is.

So obviously altcoins are trying to attract NEW people with NEW money.... so trying to take away from other coins instead of attracting new people is totally retarded.

Having an opinion and having that opinion challenged is what moves humanity forward.

Being rude to people who are not rude to your community does nothing but hurt your community and the value of your currency.

If you took the totally retarded personally, let me make it clear that it wasn't directed at you, but at the general altcoin scene.
Kinda makes me wonder, how it's even possible that somebody could take my phrasing personally???

Well. She def. needs the D.
Maybe instead of showing her V she shows her D. The D is a separate entity existing in a very small breed of crypto. It simply overwrites the V.

Well, she already has the D.
So disappearing the V to show more D is not fair to the people who want to see the V.
We must have BOTH the D and the V, or else something went wrong.

I tried, it's too small... you have to take into account that it's a GIF.
