You know what man. I know the solution to your problem and I refuse to help you because you're acting like a punk.

Come back when you can act like a mature person and may be you'll get some help from one of us.

One of Us? LMAO - Have another convo with David ? Enlighten us all, Please. --Who exactly are you speaking for?

Thank you for proving to everyone here exactly what you are. ALL TALK - NO SHOW

So because I'm a punk. (Just want what was promised, if that makes me a punk, so be it) NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE BITBAY COMMUNITY can have the fix. -- Classy.

Maybe, just maybe, next time when you don't know the answer, don't go embarrassing yourself with "You're a meanie, and I'm not telling"

I didn't promise you anything, jackass. I don't work for you. I'm trying to help you and you're coming here like a retard getting all bent out of shape because wallet that got released 2 days ago isn't working for you.

How about have some fcking patience and wait till David releases the video for your dumbass so you can follow step by step procedure..or may be that'll be too tough for you and you'll expect him to drive to your house so he can hold your hands and show you how to get bitmessage addres.  Grin

I'm done with you.

Just wow again. You are not helping this convo at all. Stop assuming you have answers for me.

How does one send to a bitmessage address if one CANNOT put there OWN bitmessage address into the client first?Huh

If you sent it to me, how would I receive it if MY bitmessage address in NOT in the client???

The problem is one CANNOT put their OWN bitmessage address into the client. So therefore you CANT send to me

OMFG that was it?! Just confusion over the BitBay and Bitmessage addresses? Beautiful. Things are looking bright.

When I see it actually working Ill join in your celebrations. That wasn't THE problem - That was HIS problem.

Still waiting on those screenshots

Have you even read any of my previous posts? Stop treating me like I'm a idiot.

Your telling me I'm somehow doing it wrong and your sending to Bay addresses? - WOW

And where exactly does one input there bitmessage address? Any clue on that?
Because there is absolutely no-where to enter it?

Where it says "Send contract to"

I made a smart contract succesfully. Only issue is I closed the wallet so it didn't go through fast but it'll go through and I'll post a screenshot once it goes through. Have you tried creating one?

Only for about 2 months now.

The software that you think just came out feels like a re-skinning of BlackHalo, that some of us have been playing around with for weeks. (and can't get to work either)

Did you really just say that you created a contract but not really?

If it didn't go through than it didn't work. Everyone has gotten to the point that you are at.

Okay. Just talked to David and issue is that I sent it to Bitbay address. You have to send it to Bitmessage address. He said it'll be fixed in next update. Try that.

Don't close your wallet until it shows up under Contracts.

Lets see what we can get out of it.

Why are we concerned with IRC and GoDaddy ??

NO-ONE HAS MADE A SINGLE SMART BAYHALO CONTRACT YET  --- NOBODY!

If not a single person could get it to work then it just doesn't work.

The problem cannot be that we are group stupid and cannot find the "receive tab".(thanks for the tip)

Please don't tell me the solution is for us to PM David, one-at-a-time, to fix the issues we are ALL having with the smart contracting software.

Im not PMing anybody for a fix, and neither should you. (you cant take the time to even recognize that there may be a problem here, but have the time to respond to everyone's PM in here and those who downloaded the client)?

What good is it if your client works and the worlds doesn't?

We were promised working contracting software, just like they were promised 500BTC if they delivered it.
Quote
- 500 btc at completion of ico / delivery of initial wallet. (This threshold has been met.)
- 500 btc at delivery of wallet with integrated smart contracts
- 500 btc at delivery of our decentralized marketplace

And if it doesn't work, then nobody is going to stick around. Period.

...And I am a Halo supporter.

Point of releasing smart contract before marketplace was so any issue that occurs on user side can be fixed before marketplace gets added. First coin in the WORLD that has smart contract and decentralized marketplace. Offcourse, there are going to be issues. No one has ever done this before and we all are here to help each other

The best chat option i think might be Tox. A friend showed it to me but i have to learn more about it. What i do like about irc is its open chat room like setting which is superior for community stuff. But you know, that can be changed to a more private option although i do believe freenode supports Tor.

Did you see my post regarding Broadcasting?

I had set up smart contract yesterday and it's still showing as "Broadcasting" in pending offer. How long does it normally take to go through?

Could be something I did?

No, it should be broadcasting. Where it says who is broadcasting see if its you or them. If its them, they need the client open so it broadcasts and funds.

If you are supposed to be the one broadcasting, you can contact me directly for support and i can figure out why its doing that.

Just sent you PM with screenshots of what I see. I'm broadcasting

As vivid as this BTC thread is, The IRC channel #bitbay is silent.
Why? I really don't know, maybe peeps are too lazy to change the given channels into #bitbay?
And what are those names for at the bottom of the chat?

Keep in mind this thing was done in rush because people kept asking for it to release over & over. There are going to be issues and there are going to some things lacking. If people had patience we could've had perfect wallet. Also, don't forget it got released within 20 days of launch. That's the fastest any coin has EVER delivered. Name one coin that has delivered something as good within 20 days? I can't think of any.

There are going to be issues and those things should've been expected. I'm sure they'll be fixed when marketplace launches. Whole point of releasing wallet before marketplace is so everyone can  test and come with their issues so that can be fixed before marketplace gets released.

If I knew how the smart contract betting exactly works, I would make a bet on whether Christmas will be on the 25th of december this year. Grin

It's straight forward once you can see bitmessage address under your "Receive coins" or just create new gmail account and use it.

Only issue is it gets stuck in "Broadcasting". I'm not sure what's the issue there and I can't cancel it or I'll lose my coins.  Huh

Its seems as if a few people had questions about configuring the wallet. Just take a look at your receive tab. You can use bitmessage or encrypted email. Every page has a question mark that describes whats going on the page. If your bitmessage address isnt showing then PM me. Otherwise, you can use one or the other. If you send to a bitmessage address for contracts, the program automatically uses the address loaded in your receive tab. If you send to an email address, the program will use whatever email address you have loaded.

The list of approved email providers is listed if you hit the question mark. I usually just make a new gmail since its only used for communicating contract data. Let me know if you have any more questions thanks.

In Blackhalo this receive address is the original wallet address. That seems much more convenient than having to set bitmessage first.

It seems like I missed that post.

David, How long does it take for smart contract to go through? It has been numerous hours but it still says broadcasting. Any idea?

Mr Zimbeck dumps the coins that he bought from the IPO. That's what I think... Nobody in the world would dump such amounts at a loss.

Who is Mr. Zimbeck

This is normal selling as they investors who caught caught up seeing the ICO sell so fast didn't realise it was overpriced.

Zimbeck is not selling. The organizers of this scam are selling. Zimbeck just a developer, contracted by the scammers.

Thats all fine, who is Zimbeck? I haven't heard of him before today.

AltcoinUK, I must commend you on being stubborn as a mule. How about you leave your computer alone for a while bud? I know your parents are rich as fck but for how long you gonna keep using their free internet to spread your Fud?

I know you lost your lunch money in VIA but that's not the end of the world.

Get a job, you idiot.

bud i looked at the pending contract, under "who broadcasts" is says them. what does yours say? does that mean u gotta broadcast it somehow?

Mine just says "Broadcasting Transaction" and when I click it gives pop up saying "this will cancel the transaction and you shouldn't cancel or your money will be lost". I can't really do anything to broadcast it. It should do this on its own.

scroll all the way to the right  -does the last words say you are supposed to broadcast, or me?

It says

Who Broadcasts: Me

We started more than $1,000,000 market cap and now it's $432,925. Probably we cannot know what is the case, @toknormal says right...

I think it's good to buy now and hold it. In January there are few implements to add on to this, price will pump for sure...

+1000

It's not even a month old yet. There are lot of things coming in December & Marketplace (in January). Selling before that at loss is not very smart IMHO. Specially because you don't know what's really going on in the background. These guys are really putting lot of effort behind this project and you can see it from how professional that website looks. They try not to show off and give false promises before it's ready and so far they haven't given me any reason to doubt them.

It's not for people who likes to make money in day trading and it's definitely not for anyone who don't have patience and wants to get rich overnight.
