Who said that the team are scammers? Why start something great and not have the balls to get it done as team? Crypto people are all children i suggest.

AltcoinUK, I must commend you on being stubborn as a mule. How about you leave your computer alone for a while bud? I know your parents are rich as fck but for how long you gonna keep using their free internet to spread your Fud?

I know you lost your lunch money in VIA but that's not the end of the world.

Get a job, you idiot.

Hehe, best thing is, his posts gonna get deleted again. That means, he invests time in this. Time, that nobody on this world will give him back. Nobody will give him back hours of his life, literally nobody. Hes shortening his life by hours. Same as he would smoke cigarettes, each cigarette costs 5-7min of life, death caused by cancer. You can see how worthless his life is. Cool

you try to focus on unimportant details in order to disguise the bigger picture here. If someone asks for transparency, how the hell can you try to come up with an argument that weakens the value of transparency? The shit you talk does not make sense at all, that's why it is shit huh?
Indeed, I am not a newbie in crypto, you got me. But I am sick of seeing a lot of people making the mistakes that I did in the beginning. And the scams become more and more sophisticated which makes it really hard to figure out especially for newbies. They get burned and talk shit about crypto in general.
It's not the time yet to call Bitbay an organized scam. But if the time really comes, Zimbeck will be on top of the list that I will spread about it.
I heard Zimbeck is intelligent. But that does not mean he is not ruthless or naive. Both might fit in case he really decided to work with scammers whereas I would have to doubt that he is very intelligent in that case because that would have made him make another decision.
If for any reason we as investors should not be entitled to know who exactly is behind this project, then Zimbeck as someone who claims to be a crypto currency supporter and innovator and someone who has a very good reputation in this business would definitely want to make sure to not support groups that eventually harm the development of crypto currency.
You may disagree (or not, but still claim that you disagree in order to protect your position in bit bay) and call me some untrustworthy newbie, but yeah, maybe you can rather explain why transparency is a bad thing in this specific case? And if you try to argue one more time that Zimbeck is not to blame because that poor guy just does not know who he is working for but needs bread and butter on the table, how does that go along with the overall mission he claims to be on?

Why dont you start with transparancy yourself and reveal your former identity then...

My wallet won't start anymore. Don't know what problem is causing this, so I want to reinstall it.
Do I keep my address when doing that or is there something I should think of like eg. backup the privatekeys?

Check your task manager and kill all halo / bay processes, then try restart.

Sometimes the wallet starts but hides in your taskbar until double click.

Whatever u do, back up wallet dat before uninstall if it comes to that.

If you close the wallet with the X mark, then it shows up in the taskbar. You have to exit it via the menu if you don't want that.
As far as I understand now from David the wallet.dat in the data map now has no function but act like some sort of buffer.
For the sake of security I made a backup of the whole BitBay map and reinstalled it.
The wallet now opens again and now I am figuering out where my former address is stored.
Thanks anyway for your response Wink

Update: I opened a wallet (open wallet in menu) with the former private keys and dang I got my address back. Smiley

They're good questions but most of them have already been answered in one way or another. Both by David, the Bitbay Team account AND the Bter account.

Though for clarity sake I agree with you that some of them should be included in this FAQ. You're right that people with these questions shouldn't have to dig through hundreds of pages to find the answers so thank you for listing them like this. If only to close this source of FUD once and for all.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=850267.msg9708219#msg9708219

EDIT: The list got deleted, probably due to the sentence that followed them but I do hope we can work them into the FAQ still.

So much fake volume on bittrex today, buying and selling their own orders over and over again to make it look like there is more interest in the coin than there really is.

Just guess. Or proof?
Fact: They announced to take care of the bot abuse a few months ago.
Guess: They did that in favor of their own bots.

It's straight forward once you can see bitmessage address under your "Receive coins" or just create new gmail account and use it.

Only issue is it gets stuck in "Broadcasting". I'm not sure what's the issue there and I can't cancel it or I'll lose my coins.  Huh

I don't know what I did. Maybe it was pc restart but the smart contracts now finally work. The contract finally picks my receive adress, which is set in 'receive coins' and is identical to the home wallet address.

You don't need the gmail adress, but it does make things a whole lot easier.

So let the smart contracting begin Cheesy is it still NFL or is there a new competition?
