2581  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 28, 2022, 09:55:24 PM
Hello there. Basically title says it all. The question is targetting veterans on this forum with more experience than me.
If you could take a few minutes and write a list of the most trusted casinos, I would appreciate a lot.
I'm pretty new here and from what i've seen so far, 1xbit, bitstarz and a few more are not really accepted in the gambling community because they have bad reputation. This is for my website that will come out in a few weeks Grin

Thank you!
first you have to find out which crypto gambling site you are most interested in and also not banned from your country...

there are already many "trusted" gambling sites on bitcointalk and it's hard to choose one (making it the first), My recommendation is;

  • owl.games
  • betfury
  • roobet
  • stake
  • gamdom
  • winz
  • fortunejack
  • freebitco.in

I believe their greatest wealth is their nukes to be fair, without them, nobody could care about Russia and they would be the mockery of the world by now, the only reason they are still taken seriously is their nukes, get them out and Russia wouldn't be more than some poor third world nation.

However, their biggest export is oil/gas and interestingly wheat as well. Those three things cover for majority of their exports and actually majority of their income as well since they do not really have too many companies that work with other nations and bring in a ton of money. Oil is something that could end, there is a limit to how much you would have, which means unless they take precautions, they are going to run dry one day eventually.
Russian oil and gas will definitely dry up someday, but it takes a long time to get there...

what's interesting is that even though russian gas/oil will dry up but as you said yourself, they still have nuclear and also wheat which is one of their strengths. Russia is not a small country, their area is very large, so economic sanctions alone will not have a significant impact on them, the world needs something big to stop the Russian invasion to ukraine.
2583  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka defaults on its $51 billion external debt on: April 28, 2022, 09:14:27 PM
...
Countries that can't sustain a diversified income with a bit of savings or future debt can't sustain and vulnerable. Look at the USA, they are in big debt, and they do not have easy time paying that neither, each year they are growing that, why are they not worried or not defaulting? Because, they are spending that money to earn more in the future, the 500 billion debt you make today, could mean 50 billion a year in the future, the 2 trillion you spent could comeback as 300 billion a year.

So, basically it is a situation where Sri Lanka could have relied heavily on manufacture and still would bankrupt, or farming and still bankrupt, you need to invest into multiple different sources of income or you will do badly.
imo managing debt is not an easy matter, the power of the US and sri lanka is much different...

it is obvious that the US is able to manage debt into profit every year, that is their advantage but in contrast to sri lanka, their country has debt and also a high number of corruptors which makes the function of the debt bad. just see what will happen to sri lanka when they manage to get loan funds from the IMF and world bank, whether they will be able to manage the debt!!
2584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 28, 2022, 08:57:50 PM
You will agree Elon has really inspired many people to bitcoin his pro or against bitcoin tweet directly reflect the red and green candles on bitcoin charts.

With owning this huge platform of Twitter he can either break it or make it. I think.

Let if adopts "doge" as some kind of default crypto currency for Twitter it will be huge move and might effect bitcoin bigtime.

Or let say if come to sense and realizes the truth and embrace bitcoin I can't imagine how huge the green candle will be.
you're thinking too much, so far there has been no new official news about doge will be the default cryptocurrency for twitter...

since Elon officially showed interest in bitcoin last year, since then the bitcoin price has continued to stabilize around $30k+ till $45k. Bitcoin adoption will definitely happen and it can't be denied, even before Elon owned Twitter, Jack as the founder of Twitter has included a tipping feature with Bitcoin on Twitter. twitter, elon and bitcoin really good combination.
2585  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: April 27, 2022, 09:22:42 PM
until now, for me "one currency, one nation" is impossible...

I say this because what I have noticed, in this world there are still many adherents of supremacy who consider their ethnicity, skin color, nation, language and currency to be the highest compared to others. if they still dominate then it will be difficult to realize the dream of "one currency, one nation"

and also there are thousands of languages, nations and customs that have been created in this world, to eliminate them is almost impossible.
2586  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 27, 2022, 07:16:40 PM
...

How does this affect on the market? Or doesn't at all? On the prices of bitcoin?
I'm still surprised, that bitcoin is still associated with environmental damage lol...

the gas emissions released due to bitcoin mining do not have a big impact when compared to the emissions produced by factories and vehicles. FUD about bitcoin is one of the destroyers of the environment is spread by people who hate bitcoin, I will no longer believe environmental issues involving bitcoin will affect its price because bitcoin has not been proven to cause that.

If the sanctions are imposed on developing countries or small countries of course it will work,
but in the current case where it refers to Russia I don't think it will matter considering Russia is a big country with a lot of resources,
Regardless of all that, I really hope that both countries can resolve it through diplomacy or non-violent means
Russia's greatest wealth is their oil and gas...

Russia today is not like the former Uni Soviet, which was a superpower but Russia is the most important country in Europe and its surroundings because it is the largest supplier of gas and oil there, so when the western and US sanctions were given, they had absolutely another way not to be pressured by the sanctions. I'm not sure a ceasefire agreement will come soon, Russia has shown an attitude to keep in the war.
2588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 11:39:19 PM
I'm really curious what will happen to Twitter when it's 100% controlled by Elon Musk...

I have been using Twitter for a long time and admire it more than any other social media because on Twitter we can freely express our opinion (based on my experience) even though a lot of pornographic content is still posted (in some countries it is taboo) but there are limits that are applied. hope it's true, that Elon will make Twitter even better.

2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 26, 2022, 10:01:06 PM
quite salute to the performance of madrid, even though they lost but they are only 1 goal difference on aggregate from man city...

2 goals that were successfully executed by Benzema and 1 V. junior goal made Madrid able to catch up with Man City. The second LEG later (on 5/5 which will be held in Santiago) will determine whether Madrid will be able to advance to the final or even Man City will advance to the final. I agree that both teams still have a great chance of reaching the final.

2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: April 26, 2022, 09:17:20 PM

I am positive on every coins you holding except for Theta, other projects adoption rate is pretty higher than Theta and I believe that use cases are what keeps a project alive during tough times but still it depends on how people are utilizing the project, Theta is good but its survival depends on the team more than the faithful community and fans.
why do you think that Theta has no great potential in the future?

from my observations at CMC and Coingecko, currently theta has a market cap of $2.7 billion with transactions in the last 24 hours reaching $228 million. Theta has also been listed on many major exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin and Bithumb. The latest news I read is that Theta labs is working with American Idol. I have theta that I hold in my wallet, I'm pretty sure of the potential bullish on theta in the future.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 23, 2022, 05:17:59 PM
What an interesting and entertaining first half between lyon and montpelier, lyon managed to take a 2 0 lead but montpelier team with an impressive performance managed to equalize by scoring two goals on the 45+1 and 45+3 of the first half its not looking good for lyon team with this result they are 6 points away from the sixsth position which means their chances are really slim on participating on an european competitions next season.
playing at home lyon dominated very well in the first half but it was a shame they were caught off guard at the end of the first half so montpelier were able to create 2 goals at once in a short time. it was a mistake from the lyon players.
if lyon are not able to win in this match i think they will lose hope of being able to win the Europa League ticket.
Lyon really dominated in the match against Montpellier...

throughout the match, Lyon made 27 'shots' and 13 'shots on goal'. If they play as well as before since the start of the season then they will definitely finish in the top 5 and get a ticket for the UCL. but the ticket to the UEL is good enough for Lyon too.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 23, 2022, 03:50:40 PM
A really good game by Arsenal, although they were lucky with that Fernandes penalty.
United is now officially out of the top 4 race and this is the first time they lost 4 away games in a row since 1981.

As expected, City is cruising against Watford. Jesus is in really good form for them in the last few games, he's got 4 goals already.
The hosts played very well with a 5-goal advantage over Watford...

gabriel jesus performed brilliantly, he contributed 4 goals and one assist in this match, with this victory, man city is getting stronger at the top of the standings, it looks like liverpool have to give up this season's champion for man city.
2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Move-to-Earn (M2E) tokens on: April 23, 2022, 03:02:30 PM
I think right now with that coin, it's just a hype. I've heard of these M2E concept before like the name of that coin was sweatcoin IIRC. You'll get paid through jogging.
That's good because you're exercising and at the same time you earn tokens. But I don't have any news about that coin and where are they right now. And the same concept for the project that when you poop, you'll get paid too. I don't know with the latter if that's a serious thing when I've read it or it's just for the memes.
the concept of move to earn (M2E) in is really new for me...

to be honest, I really like YOGA and if every movement I do be it YOGA or other sports is paid for then it will be a good extra income for me. although I'm a little pessimistic about this M2E concept but it looks like this concept will be hype in the future.

I'm sad for all who lost because of this token...

This YOUC token has performed well in the last few months but in just the past week, its price and value have been shattered. responding to the issue that this token was hacked, I'm not so sure about the CEO's statement, I firmly believe that it's just their trick (they make drama).
2596  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka defaults on its $51 billion external debt on: April 23, 2022, 02:11:54 PM
I wonder why OP didn't mention about Chinese debt. 10% of their entire debt is along with China. Sri Lanka has already lost control of Goadar Port to China owing to the debt and now they have declared bankruptcy. Read more here,

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/international-business/explained-how-sri-lanka-fell-into-debt-trap-defaulted-on-foreign-payments/articleshow/90805938.cms

It is definitely a prime example of government mismanagement. Also their main source of income was tourism which got hit by Covid very seriously. We are seeing the cumulative effect now.
Countries that only rely on income from tourists are very vulnerable to bankruptcy...

I agree that the phenomenon that is happening in Sri Lanka is the result of "mismanagement" by their government. they can't afford to pay debts and interest on debt from china, the biggest income only comes from tourism and the sizeable corruption is a fatal mistake from the sri lanka government. It will take a long time for Sri Lanka's economy to recover.
2597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can newbie become rich with trading on: April 23, 2022, 01:25:01 PM
Trading look like a hard to understand game and for any new person in trading making profits is always hard that is why am here to ask how can a newbie make profit trading coins and what manual can be followed.
Trading is never easy as long as you think it's easy (newbies usually think trading is easy)...

even a professional trader still has a high level of loss, if a newbie doesn't want to learn slowly from the bottom/basics, enjoy every moment when trading, learn continuously and mentally toughen up to deal with any market price movements then it's impossible for them to become a pro in trading.
2598  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: April 22, 2022, 03:19:08 PM
The key to success and becoming a rich investor is to always do different things, when the market is red like it is today and makes many people panic and sell cheaply, then we must dare to be different, namely by buying, I believe that bitcoin has great power to skyrocket again so that by immediately buying we have the opportunity to get big profits.
whatever happens, buy at the right time is when bitcoin is at a low price and sell at a high price...

but the bear market often scares people, especially newbies who just buy bitcoin when the price is high or when the market is bull. when someone sells his bitcoin with a value that is far from when he bought it then that person has lost a lot. bitcoin price has great potential to continue to rise, so don't be afraid when the price goes down.
2599  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Perlu kah edukasi buat crypto ? on: April 22, 2022, 02:45:14 PM
edukasi tentang kripto tentu lah sangat penting...

2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 21, 2022, 02:42:36 PM
after successfully defeating Lyon, now Brest is ranked 12th (shifting Reims)...

playing at home makes Reims have the ambition to win. Lyon did dominate the match from the first half but Brest was more fortunate, it was proven in the 27' minute Mounie managed to score a goal through a penalty. The fight for 3rd place (between Rennes, Strasbourg and Monaco) is really tight, I'm confused about which team will be able to finish in 3rd position until the end of the season.
