2161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Give new topics some time, you will learn a lot on: October 19, 2022, 06:00:34 PM
Newbies, do not make any hasty decision from fresh topics on this forum, wait till members reply that topic first because some people create topics like they know it all but if you give it time you will get valid answers from a combination of comments from other members,  reading through comments alone will enlighten you, unless you don't like reading meaning you shouldn't be on here in the first place.

I think it's unethical if we discriminate between someone's knowledge based on BTT account rankings, I've seen there are many newbies or low-ranking ones who have good knowledge and make on-topic reply posts.
some newbies do look disturbing because they make bad posts but we can immediately think that they don't have good knowledge and seem lazy to read even many who make plagiarism posts because they were lazy to read forum rules from the start.

....

I don't understand the Chinese government's thoughts until now because they never liked cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin, so I'm still not sure that one day China will like cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin just to take advantage of the situation or a desire that is still buried in the government's mind
if you google it you will find this;

Quote
China first moved in 2013 to restrict its banks from using Bitcoin as currency, citing concerns its inherently speculative nature threatens the country's financial stability. Over the years, the government has become even more wary.

reality is;

Quote
All central banks want to control them – the PBOC, the US Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank,” he says. “They have no interest in parallel currencies floating around. Some countries may not be too worried but in China it could be more of a concern.”

China can't control Bitcoin so they hate it.

I have some actors that I like right but if they make a bet I won't follow their advice because I know it's not their forte. most artists bet based on their feelings alone not with careful analysis, that's different from the predictors that are spread out there. despite the reality on the ground that luck has a big role, in-depth analysis is very important, besides that odds also affects.

Bisa jadi nanti salah paham jika yang mengedukasi itu orang lain atau yang bukan begitu ahlinya. ~
Sepakat sama agan DroomieChikito.

Bitcoin has been in circulation for more than 10 years, where is the Guinness book of world records, whether they really need more than 10 years to be sure that Bitcoin is a valuable cryptocurrency lol

2168  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 17, 2022, 09:37:21 PM
After reading so many theories, Analysis and the powers of crypto currency in a nation's economy, the greater impact it will bring to developed and fast developing countries. I began to wonder why is crypto currency not accepted in some area's and organization of the world, can we characterized this as lack of information, and awareness to the people. If this be the case, Can we find a way to adopted Crypto Currency as a Subject and integrate it into our school curriculum, or better still as topic and integrate it into Economy's. This has been on my mind, And I honestly need your contribution and your thoughts towards this. I honestly think crypto currency, BTC and ETH for example. Should be adopted globally and accepted by everyone. Thanks

everyone who knows cryptocurrencies certainly hopes that cryptocurrencies can be included in the school curriculum but again, each country/region has not been willing to do that because of their unreasonable fears.
The discourse about cryptocurrencies being included in the school curriculum in my country has also been discussed but so far we have not received a response from our government, they have said that cryptocurrencies disrupt economic stability, and to be honest it is a stupid statement.
2169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hard to detect scams nowadays? on: October 17, 2022, 09:16:02 PM
The only way to stay away from scam is to avoid all cryptocurrency except Bitcoin. I think whoever put this in his/her mind will never experience a scam. Bitcoin is the best for investment and always reliable.

Bitcoin has gone through many trials and also FUD but until now it is still very strong because Bitcoin is the only trusted cryptocurrency. What I really regret is that most newbies don't learn from this forum, most of them watch from YouTube and they are inspired to invest in shit tokens because of the brainwashing that is done by many YouTubers.

I still remember the phrase that is often said by YouTubers and influencers is "this coin or token will become the next Bitcoin". those who believe must have been trapped and will end up with regrets. remember that there is no "the next Bitcoin".
2170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: October 17, 2022, 08:53:04 PM
I am doing trading since more than Four years and earning good  but i want more capital for big trade setups, so any pro trader please suggest me that how can i raise fund for my trading.

I know nothing about  fundraising so please guide me through this process for my better future.

Thanks.
fundraising as I know is borrowing money from the bank or collecting money from friends and relatives but it is really high risk if you have to borrow money from the bank and also have to collect money from your friends or relatives, you risk losing money and damaging social relations you are so big.
if you have good skills in trading and already make money from it, why do you need capital from outside again, it's better if the profits you get, make it to your trading capital on an ongoing basis.

But i really want to learn more about this forum, what are the things i need to know before i can start contributing in ways which i am good at.
and how can i know where and when to make a post.
i only have a little and brief knowledge about bitcoin and crypto currency at large.

it will be much appreciated if the elders in here can guide me through.

Thanks.
so that you don't make posts that lead to spam, you must make posts on topics that you are good at, for example if you don't understand security then don't try to make posts on topics that discuss security.
making posts is like art, you have to write whatever you think yourself don't make plagiarism because it will get you banned or ignored. everyone starts their day in this forum with no extensive knowledge of bitcoin and crypto but if you have a high learning intention, then you will master it over time.
2172  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 17, 2022, 06:38:23 PM
Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse — and nobody's saying exactly where the money went

Quote
Meta has spent more than $15 billion on its Reality Labs metaverse venture since the beginning of last year, but so far, the company hasn't shared on what, precisely, money is being spent.

Some experts are getting worried the company is spending good money after bad.

"The problem is that they spend the money, but the transparency with investors has been a disaster," Dan Ives, a tech analyst at Wedbush Securities, said.

"This continues to be a risky bet by Zuckerberg and the team because, for now, they're betting money on the future while they continue to have massive headwinds on their core business," he added.

I always thought that Metaverse is a stupid idea, it can only succeed when VR is massively popular, which it is not right now. Zuck is trying to put a cart before the horse.
Quote
Meta is pouring money into its metaverse efforts, spending $10 billion in 2021 on the project alone, up from $6.6 billion in 2020, and $4.5 billion in 2019. What’s more, Zuckerberg expects to continue plowing cash into the business over the next three to five years.

I quite applaud Zuck's belief in the future of metaverse technology, he targets that in the next 15 years his project will be successful and META becomes a leader in metaverse technology, even though it looks very ambitious but he is making bets and he says he is ready with all possibilities that happen in the future.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is key differences between Bitcoin and tulip bubble on: October 17, 2022, 05:39:31 PM
I'm funny to see that there are still people who equate the tulip bubble with bitcoin. The Tulip Buble occurred in the Netherlands several decades ago and it was caused by the excessive FOMO that a few people did to profit from the sale of tulips.
bitcoin is much different, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that you can use for anything (investment or payment) depending on your wishes. so we have to stop the narrative of people who always link the tulip bubble with bitcoin.

...
One thing that I wanted to know, is that Youtuber is popular that has many subscribers? Do you think it is worth listening to him?

for those who already understand how things work on the internet, they definitely won't be interested in listening to the words that are done by YouTubers because they are just repeated words spoken by many YouTubers, they only copy-paste and modify a little.
but as neuroticfish said, newbies will definitely get caught up in the tricks of scammers on youtube because of the combination of greed and their low knowledge.

"I want to sing like the birds sing, not worrying about who hears or what they think."

- Rumi

I like Rumi's sentence above, every day we get into trouble in life, sometimes not caring about what other people say makes us less stressed.

Quote
“Do not train a child to learn by force or harshness; but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.”

- Plato

This sentence from Plato is also very extraordinary in my life, I applied it to my 2 children and it is proven that every child has their own expertise, if we force what we want on them, it will cut off the natural talent they have. I support whatever my child wants, as long as it's positive.

what drake is currently doing

drake makes a scene with his enormous bet for the el clasico match lol. barca played very cautiously after Benzema scored a quick goal in the 12' minute. Lewandowski has created several chances but no goals have been scored. It's a very exciting match, I like the atmosphere Grin

sorry I don't know much about this. so you don't have to bully someone if you feel great. just shut up if you guys can't help rather than bring someone down.

apart from bounties and airdrops, you can get free crypto from faucets, write blogs (you can try it outside this forum if it is still available like writing on read.cash or hive/steemit), trading or just take part in competitions in the thread games & rounds or service.

crazy, that's an insane amount of bets, if arsenal and barcelona (el clasico) win today then he wins more than $2 million. this is the difference between those who are crazy rich and ordinary people like me (who usually bet no more than $50) lol.

Same experience to me. We have multiple accounts on different e-commerce platform and social media accounts and all of them receives 500+ message per day each about inquiry of customers for there purchased. Missing them to reply for about 1hr will result to negative rating on my shop. I think Online casino has a worst time dealing with there customer inquiries since gamblers attitude is very aggressive and sometimes irritated since most of there concerns is money related.

People will never under how they feels handling tons of complaints in timely manner unless they experienced it first hand.
Many gamblers don't have great patience and I understand that because it deals with money and time. but having Customer Support that quickly resolves problems that occur is almost impossible (usually every problem and complaint will be processed in more than 1 hour) unless the developer uses an automatic robot that responds to all complaints and problems quickly and automatically but I doubt that such a system already exists.
