Countdown to Full Member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 76

I think this journey is very challenging for me but your sincerity is one of the reasons for my encouragement and reaching my goal. Hope everyone will help me to move forward in this journey.

hi @Patrol69, you have good posts but you have to break your post-bursting habit (I saw some of your posts in posts in a short time between 1 post and another), give a minimum pause of 10 minutes - 15 minutes for the next post. I hope you are lucky to grow to the rank of a full member.
2062  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are different way to earn money through Bitcoin on: November 07, 2022, 05:37:27 PM
Can anyone earn Free Bitcoin Without Investing in it.

a few years ago maybe we could get free bitcoins from faucets but for now it's been very difficult because many faucets currently only provide small rewards.

your knowledge is an investment too so change your mindset from now on, you are impossible to get bitcoin without a decent investment, you have to push yourself on the best version of yourself, so you can get bitcoin from wherever it is (trading, gambling, signature campaign, blog posts etc).
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: November 07, 2022, 04:10:05 PM
We need to teach our children how to value things and how money is a purchasing power, the thing is.
Most children live to walk in the path of their parents and gambling and financial management must be properly and thoroughly thought through before exposing our kids to them, for this kid to have wasted such huge sums of money on gambling and women one night.

The point is, don't show something negative to your child, they will imitate it and think it's a good thing because you did it.

I think that the parents are responsible for the badness of the child. If a good child is always raised well by his parents, then that child will never go to the bad path. But even if he does, he cannot indulge in bad deeds.  A fear will work in his mind. And the child who has no Sassoon gets involved in many crimes.

that's true but not all children want to follow in the footsteps of their parents, environmental factors and religious upbringing have an important role in forming a child's mindset.

when I looked at this thread now I remembered that days ago I have seen very strange things in my city, I see children who are only 6 years old and others who are 8 years old having a cell phone and playing games, and these children spend most of their time days playing on the phone and then without a doubt they will start playing games of chance, because these kids on the phone do research and when they search about games for phone they will find games of chance and as they grow they will enter the world of gambling and they will not talk nothing for parents, I think it's a big risk to give a 7-year-old a phone. in the same way that a parent should not take their child to the world of gambling, this is not a good thing.

something like this is also happening in my city, many children under the age of 10 play Scatter Slots, they think it is a normal slot game but they buy chips to play and the money they use is pocket money given by their parents. the role of parents' supervision of their children is important.
2064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 07, 2022, 03:36:33 PM
There are so many people in the Bitcoin Talk Forum who have interest to discover the true identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. Also there are few who oppose the matter, that Satoshi Nakamoto must not reveal his identity.

I am so much confused regarding matter. So I think, it would be better to arrange a concensus about the identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. The members of this forum can vote for themselves and it will be helpful for Satoshi Nakamoto to make a correct discussion.

What is your opinion ?
One thing is certain that will happen if satoshi reveals his true identity, it is the tremendous terror of the government, his/her fans, and his/her haters. it's more beautiful and calm if we stay like this, keep speculating about who the real satoshi is and still assume anyone who claims to be a satoshi is fake.
2065  Other / Meta / Re: Want to Know on: November 07, 2022, 02:26:56 PM
I've been noticing on this forum for quite some time now that many legendary members use cap hats on their profiles without doing a signature campaign.  Why do they do this, I really want to know.  Please let me clear this up.
...

all the members you mention make posts not to be paid. they are not involved in paid signature or avatar campaigns, and they are not marketing a service so in conclusion, they wear that hat "just for fun".

2066  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies: Stay away and avoid all bounties! on: November 07, 2022, 12:18:32 PM
if we look at the current bounty section, especially those who participate in social media campaigns, they don't really care about the projects they participate in, what they know is that when a new project appears they have to join in it.

I do not support 100% for you to prohibit newbies from avoiding all altcoin-paid projects, some projects pay well even though most end up being scams and just a waste of participants' time. what you have to remind to newbies is that they must more selective in choosing the campaigns they participate in because not all new project campaigns pay well.
2067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin vs. Altcoins – projected Marketcap on: November 07, 2022, 06:10:20 AM
  • Circulating supply:
    • Infinite supply:
Some coins don’t have a caped supply at all and there will be issued more coins constantly.
For such coins, we need to look up properly how many of them will be in circulation at some point of time because such coins are at risk of MASSIVE INFLATION.
Altcoins have many risks and one of them is minting from thin air. Their developer teams can mint new flow of token if they want to use the Mint function. They can mint it to resolve the case of hacks, blockchain compromises or to benefit themselves and make investors poorer.

The risk is we don't know what they will do with that Mint function. If anyone has yet known about the risk, do a research about Terra $LUNA that is rebranded to Terra Classic $LUNC.

it also reminds me of Ethereum Classic. ethereum developers create new tokens for reasons of stronger security. altcoins are not very suitable for investment, especially long term, we will find a lot of drama going on there and it has happened over and over again in many projects. Bitcoin has never been changed or modified since it first appeared and that is what makes bitcoin so unique and special.[/list]

Dapatkah Om menyebut lebih spesifik lagi, setahu ane board gambling memiliki beberapa Child Boards seperti Games and rounds, Investor-based games dan Gambling discussion. Tolong koreksi jika saya salah.

2070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 06, 2022, 02:27:43 PM
In my country up to 7 people I knew very well ( friends and family ) want me to help them invest money in crypto, after telling them the risk involved and how it will be better if they learn themselves they turn the idea down..

Now they want me to invest their own money on coins and they aren't ready to choose the coins they will like themselves.

After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?

I've experienced something like this and I highly recommend that you don't accept requests from them (to manage their money), I have lost 2 closest people because I used to manage their money but the bear market and the value of their assets decreased made them think I cheated them.

They will think you look arrogant at first for refusing their request but in the future, you will still maintain a good relationship with them. The point is don't pretend to be a hero over other people's lives, especially when it has a relationship with money.

2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 09:49:41 AM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you

                                 OR

Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?
until now all gambling activities that I do only me and my partner know, but I have an alt account social media that I usually use to spread my gambling referral link, and also I have posted my winnings several times on that social media account, everyone who sees it will immediately make a dm to me and be interested in signing up with my referral link.

from that, I became convinced that actually many people enter gambling because they are interested in other people's wins and they are inspired by that wins so they think to follow in the footsteps of that people.
2072  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 06, 2022, 08:38:46 AM
...
What do you think? Are companies losing the battle for long term employee retention?

I don't know whether the data is accurate or not, if the employee stops working, how do they meet their daily needs, does the state pay for their living expenses or the state pays them a salary?
but in this case, different regions have different problems too, in my country because there are many job applicants, the majority of companies give tough qualifications to the applicant.

but if the company does not give their employees comfort then the company will find it difficult to retain their employees for the long term. Many experienced employees will definitely try to find job vacancies in other companies.

2074  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 05, 2022, 02:48:22 PM
Recession is coming and we know it. In some places it is staring us right in the face. Unemployment, rising cost of living, increasing food prices, falling stocks etc are some of the negative effects associated with recession. Despite this seemingly bad news, Warren Buffet said “In short, bad news is an investor’s best friend”. And another quote by someone goes thus "millionaires are made during a recession". I have been recently laid-off work due to the recent economic crisis in my country. I do not want to see this as a bad thing. So I ask what hidden opportunities does this recession offer? How can one take opportunity of the recession to become rich or at least not go broke?

Recession is a predictable thing, the people who can survive during a recession are those who have prepared themselves for it. the issue, a severe recession will occur next year, so preparing yourself from now on is a mandatory thing that everyone should do.
I'm sorry that you lost your job, but you have to be able to start something new or try to get a job that is less likely to be affected if a recession occurs, besides that, try so that you and your family can manage finances as well as possible.

I've sent BTC (0.064BTC) to Darkstar
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/bc1q59ygm8y9pzguvclskf5zt3gma7rckauaqef7qx

To be honest, Darkstar has asked me to give the money to the Pandukelana family, but it is an obligation in our place that the debt must be settled first, also dewo_sat said the same thing. And now it's up to Darkstar what to do with the money.

Thanks to Darkstar (:
I really didn't expect @darkstar to do such a noble thing, many lessons I can take from @darkstar, he prioritizes honesty, and virtue over money.

Congratulations pandukelana2712, you managed to become a legendary.
2076  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: November 05, 2022, 07:52:46 AM
a friend of mine came to me and he asked, is it possible to invest in bitcoin and crypto for the short term,? which is to meet daily needs, and I am confused to answer because I am still a beginner in bitcoin and crypto. and I want to ask everyone about it?
the price of bitcoin is very volatile, (become a short-term / day trader) it is still possible for your friends to take advantage of it to make a quick profit but remember, just one wrong step can make your friend lose his money.

there is one more way. although it is risky but the income from staking can be tried even though it is very small, if your friends have a lot of bitcoins, the reward distribution can be large.

you better explain to your friend to make Bitcoin as a long-term investment, he's better off looking for outside income and investing in bitcoin for the long term.
2077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 05, 2022, 06:18:30 AM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
(not financial advice)

I think everyone has their own needs but you must be able to manage your finances first before actually buying and investing in bitcoin for the long term. many people sell bitcoins that they buy before the price really goes up (profit) just because of an urgent need.

group your income and also your investments well, Bitcoin is highly recommended for long-term investments, so don't mess it up.

2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 04, 2022, 11:51:23 PM
...
Pique have announced about his last match against Girona at domestic league this week become last games as professional football and retired at 35 years old after many trophies success give for Barcelona. Losing defender position seems Xavi will try to signing new player for next window transfer opening, seems Pavad realistic target depending current contract at Bayern Munich expired at 2024 and he has give announcement not extended contract and want to try with new challenge at other team.

Inigo Martinez still left one year contract with Athletic Bilbao and seems have bigger chance to recruit him than Pavard, actually Bilboa will accept offering from Barcelona if really interested with Martinez if won't this player become free transfer.
it really makes sense what you say, I also think that martinez is more likely to go to Barca than pavard. Pavard is still one of the most important defenders for Bayern and it looks like they will difficult to let Pavard off.

...

All I can contribute is that pique wants to help Barcelona off the financial issues they have currently was the main reason he retired from football. He is now handing over the defending to Araujo to handle, when he is back he will fully be in charge with Christensen and Kounde to partner him. It's congratulations to him and good wishes as he approaches a new chapter
It is undeniable that Barca has not been able to get out of the economic difficulties they are facing, but it doesn't seem like a strong reason to make pique retire, he is one of the veteran defenders at Barca and surely there are many rich clubs out there who will accept him. or buy him from Barca.
2080  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education seems to have failed in some developing country on: November 04, 2022, 11:23:19 PM
...

CONCLUSION
School gives certificate but doesn't guarantee a job. Education never fails, it's gives knowledge and skills. This knowledge and skills acquired through it brings breakthrough on the long run. Therefore, graduate should think beyond getting a job after schooling but plan on how to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired through their education to create jobs for themselves and others.

there are millions more of them who graduate from college every year in almost all countries but only a few percent have the intention to change their country's economy through the skills and knowledge they get while others only aim to find work after graduation.
then it is important for the mental formation of every young person so that they can have a strong motivation to think outside the box and create bright and creative ideas, and schools can already implement this mental education.
