261  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 17, 2024, 06:28:53 PM
A person's lifestyle is determined more by wealth, this is a character and a demand for some groups. It cannot be denied that people who have more wealth will definitely buy luxury goods. We can see examples around us, how the type of car they use is very visible from the level of the person himself. In my opinion, it should not be a compulsion if finances are only limited to meeting standard living. So everyone has considered it before deciding, except for some people who don't care about themselves and make their lives chaotic if they always force their will.
That is not "always" true, maybe more sturdy things so that they do not have to spend money all the time, but I realize comfort is a lot more above the luxurious spending in their case. I have a few friends (not really friends but crypto people) that I met along the way, and all they have in common that they do not go out and spend useless money. They do not go out and buy 5 prada bags.

They actually do end up buying a brand I have never heard of, not because they are cheap, because they are expensive too, but they look for things that can be used for years. They just want to sit at home, or do what they love, and not really spend money, if they have to, then do it once and don't want to do it again and again. Comfort is more important for all of them.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 17, 2024, 05:43:05 PM
I don't know what Spurs were thinking so they lost in the away match against Fulham and the score was not half-hearted where Fulham beat 3 goals without reply. It can be seen that the Spurs players played badly in attack and defense and in the end this made them unable to maintain the game and were easily broken through. I didn't think they couldn't get a single goal back against Fulham and it looks like they have to learn again from the mistakes they made in that match.

The previous landslide victory against Aston Villa seemed meaningless because they wasted the opportunity to get closer to the top 4 and shift Aston Villa if they won against Fulham. But this is football, sometimes even strong teams are unable to fight against weak teams and with this defeat Spurs have to be alert because Manchester United will soon pounce on them from behind.
I would understand if they lost barely, like that would have been something that makes sense since it's a close game and could happen, but they lost clearly and in a decisive loss. That 3-0 loss was not something anyone expected, I haven't checked but check 2.5+ goal win for home must had some huge odds without a doubt.

I think it's clear that we are going to end up with a greater return eventually, should be something that could take a while, and not really have a problem at all. I hope that we could consider the situation to be careful, because they could have been fourth and at UCL spot if they won and if they ever get this possibility ever again then they should be careful that they won't do and that could be important.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump Bitcoin over $70,000! on: March 17, 2024, 05:06:43 AM
market dynamic and macroeconomic indices might decrease the bitcoin. the sudden surge above the 70k mark is clamoring. Regulatory development will certainly pass negative speculation in the market. Technically, nothing is stopping the surge from a technical standpoint but will can also see it nosedive when the halving starts.

The increase in the price of Bitcoin which has exceeded $70K has indeed surprised many people or many parties at this time, but this also has its own reasons for the increase that occurred before the halving occurred. Because at this time we can also see that there are more parties who believe in Bitcoin and also several other cryptocurrencies so that there are more buyers in the market and this makes the market conditions pump before the halving. And I think this is quite normal for Bitcoin.
Yes, that is definitely true and I believe that we will reach to a point where it will go above 100k as well but starting this during pre-halving period is definitely shocking. I can't say that it would be all that confusing, it is going to be something that may take a while, but it is going to be decently managed.

Hopefully we should see something that may get to a point where it is not all that easy to do. I know that it is going to be something that may do well, but it will probably not going to be as good. Pre-havling never goes this high, so we should be careful with what we are wishing here, if we are not careful then the whole four year cycle thing could be broken and then we will not have any idea what to do next.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 16, 2024, 07:16:22 PM
Leverkusen definitely got by very thin margins at europa, which tired them out a lot, wouldn't be shocked with a surprise this week. To be fair it looks like we are going to see something that will take a while for them to recover, but meanwhile they will face many opponents and get back to europa again, so they can't rest a lot.

My suggestion would be using bench players this week, since they are too far ahead already, there is no point in trying to win, use the bench players and young players and rest your real squad, that way they could end up playing next up a lot better with their real eleven. This is a tactic that many teams use, and I believe that it would benefit them, if they keep playing their real players, they may get injured.
To be fair, they wouldn't evne care neither, thats the point. If Bundesliga was still a tight fight, and they still tried their best, then yeah even with being tired after Europa they could still win. However, they have like 10 point difference last I remember, don't know the latest situation but the difference was huge, meaning that with few games left, it looks like they may actually not do all that differently, and could probably do fine.

This is why I believe that we should probably consider this situation to be a little different, can't see how they are not all that well. I believe that we are going to put in something that would take a while, so Leverkusen could just put bench players and lose because of that.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 16, 2024, 06:19:24 PM
Mbappe to Madrid is great and all, but he will have to be playing striker there, and as we have seen in the last 2 seasons when Messi and Neymar was here and Mbappe played striker, he doesn't "like" it, doesn't mean he can't, he can still play there, and he is playing there at times even this year, I am not saying he will be bad there, he will be quite good there.

I am just saying, it is not his preference, if you gave him the option then he would prefer left attacking winger, he will still be around the goal, but he will be at the left side of it. Striker is a central position, and doesn't have a side, whichever side attack comes from, he will be forced to be there, including right side, which he dislikes.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 16, 2024, 10:51:52 AM
In my opinion buying altcoins at this time is like swimming in a river without a boat. Where have you been all this time? Because few months ago bitcoin was low price of almost all altcoins so that time was best for you. But some new altcoins are entering the exchange and giving good profit in very short time so you can buy those tokens as short time investment if you want. But if you want you can collect some ethereum for long time but at this time it will be dangerous to buy altcoins.
alatcoins season are not started yet i think alts bull run will start after halving end but no guarantee just people predict it, so i think still good time to some reliable coins,
those will pay high profit in the bull season. and yes a lots of new coins entering in the market everyday, if it's massive risk but also huge profit if somehow luck will luck favour.
I do agree that it may have not started yet, but buying it still makes sense because it will eventually start. I think it's clear that people are reacting to bitcoin movements first because bitcoin was the first coin to get ETF approved, which isn't a shocker considering it is quite high and the top ranked coin out there and the first one to exist.

However, I believe that all this hype for bitcoin will end eventually and when that happens we are going to end up investing into other stuff as well, and when that happens alts will go up. So, investing into alts right now is not a bad idea, you just need to buy something trustworthy and looks good so that you could make some money when the time comes, it should be a good idea.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: World changing and those who don't adopt this Will stay poor on: March 16, 2024, 09:51:24 AM
When it comes to sector importance then it should really be balanced as much as possible. Adjustments would be made if they've been able to see that there's lacking into that sector then this is the time
that they should really be diverting out some parts and put up some focus into it to make it at least be able to patch up if ever there's a problem. In speaking about opportunities then if you've seen that your government
wasnt able to provide those job opportunities then it would be that right that you would really be working on yourself for you to find opportunities without relying with the things that government provide.

You would really be staying up poor if you wont really be making actions on which it would really be that normal that you would really be having those kind of progress if you do sit idle.
You would really be needing to be wise for you to have that progressive life.
Making decisions and taking steps will definitely make you rich, because staying still doesn't make anyone rich (unless you bought bitcoin a decade ago and haven't touched it Cheesy lol) however, you should also be careful. Planning is the most important part and people do not realize how important that is, I understand that it feels like it may not be all that important, but planning on what you should do and how you should get richer is the most important part.

If you can do that then you are going to end up with a lot of profit, you will make insane amount of money from it as well. This should not be all that confusing, we are talking about being prepared for any situation and that has been always the thing you should try to do.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 15, 2024, 05:48:55 AM
Napoli's performance is quite weak now. They have been eliminated from the Champions League. And the team's performance in Serie A has been erratic. In the last 5 matches, Napoli won only 2 matches and drew 3 matches. This team won the previous season's title. Despite the squad being unchanged, their performance has deteriorated. So I think Napoli will sack their coach Francesco Calzona next season. They need a more experienced coach if they want to win the Serie A title again.
Napoli has been weak all season long, it is not new. I mean they got a new manager at the start of the season, and everyone assumed that they would just be a little bad but not a lot, which turns out was wrong and they were terrible, so what did they do? Fired the new manager assuming he was the problem, hoping to have a turn around like Roma did, but that did not happen neither, the new manager also sucks and the results are still terrible.

At this point, they should sit down and consider if the problem is with the manager or is it with the team. Players are not playing with the same passion that they played last year, don't know what caused it last year but they are definitely not caring about the result anymore this season.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 14, 2024, 06:08:23 PM
Gambling addiction is just like every other negative addiction, it affects the addict and the people who are closest to them, gambling addicts are going to lose relationships with those who care about them, their friends and loved ones would want to stay far away from them, because their addiction can bring others down with them, so sometimes it is better to stay away. If you want to help your loved one who is an addict, then it is recommended that you guys seek professional help, they might get better after that and recover relationships they have lost.
I'm never holding back whenever I sense a significant odd, I don't hesitate to play it. We can never be able to ruled out losses from the system, because if we don't lose, how will the system generates their monetary value? We will lose in gambling system because that's how the system is been designated. Gambling addicts are the worst set of gamblers, they will do anything to gamble and they become desperate to make money while forgetting the fact about gambling, its more like a trap. Gambling addicts will continue to suffer because they've dedicated more of their time to gambling and they won't be able to be independent in recording streak winnings.
I do agree that accepting of a loss is a big part of realizing what gambling is all about and realizing you could lose is the best way to not get addicted to it, most addicts always see a light at the end of the tunnel and hope to win something, when you know that you won't and only gambling for fun, then that makes things a lot better.

Why would you gamble if you know you are going to lose money? Well simple really, why are you buying a brand new xbox? You are not making any profit from it, why go to a cinema? You are spending and not making any, why are you buying that new leg set? You are not profiting. All in all, we do these things because we spend money and have fun, some of us gamble the same exact way.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 14, 2024, 08:22:02 AM
Well it crossed that sexy number and has reached new all-time-high and this will happen again as the bull run continues. This is not the time to buy because the price is overbought and rather a time to sell if you have not already. Because once the correction sets in the euphoria will end and the panic will start.

I am not quote the Wall street psychology cheat sheet once again because someone else would have already done so or you can read it yourself on the internet.

In short, if you have already sold, just wait for bitcoin to come back down.
I think that would be a bit more down the line. I understand that a correction may happen, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see a drop right away, plus even if you buy and then there is a drop, I am sure that it is going to be fine in the end later on. This is why we should probably see something changing, and that usually means that we are going to see the price changes eventually, not going to be all that much of a big deal.

I hope to see the situation going towards higher prices here and there, it could make it a lot more interesting. I see that people are not focusing on how to make the most out of what they have, and if they could just buy into bitcoin and hold long enough then they are going to profit from it.
271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have found a good Trading Course on: March 14, 2024, 04:32:04 AM
There are other channels on YouTube where you can really learn about trading. But most of the content creators I've seen about trading say that what they say is also not true; the others just say hype and make no sense. You will feel that they only want views, so they make video content.

And I also found that the explanation is quite okay, and there is truth in what he says and the explanation he showed in the video. This is what I do; I just combine the ideas of various influencers who teach trading and analyze what they say.
Before we decide to choose a channel on the internet to learn trading, we must first have basic knowledge about trading so that we can find out whether the channel we are going to follow provides correct information about trading or is just looking for profit for themselves, which you do very well. really combine the two ideas you get on the internet with the knowledge you already have before trading and if what is shown in the video is not in line with the knowledge we have then we don't have to follow it because it's possible that what they say is not something they understand.
This is the hardest part, you need some information before you learn the information and that is a very troublesome thing. You can't go in without zero information, because in that situation you may start learning it from someone who is terrible at this, and you wouldn't want to do that, it would not help you at all. However, if you are not going in with zero information, where are you learning it from?

I mean you need some small start first to become something that makes more sense later on. This is why it's a big dilemma and I feel like it does create some issues for some people. I hope that people can get over this situation and not really feel too guilty about it but they should stop and check the comment sections regarding the person they are learning from.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history, ATHs and bottoms. on: March 13, 2024, 04:58:52 AM
That's relatable to my thoughts as this time I don't see the pattern repeating because we have had BTC ATH before the halving which was not the case in previous halving cycles. This year looks bit different but we cannot rule out correction phase as some of us are saying there won't be corrections or very little correction but we cannot rule anything on that as only time will tell us about it.
Very true, even if you look at Bitcoin's historical data. every halving there will definitely be a pretty bad dump. and it happens over and over again.
but apparently not with the halving this time, because bitcoin continued to print new ATHs even before the halving occurred.
Maybe this is because many world investors are starting to look at and dive into the world of bitcoin. Moreover, it has been facilitated by the Bitcoin ETF.
I do agree that right before it could happen, but right after I do not think so. It is quite clear that it usually doesn't take this quickly to go above ATH, if you look at all the historical data, usually ATH is broken nearly end of the year at halving season, not before the halving, so we did something nobody really expected to see. I think that is why it's a little bit shocking to the world and we do not really know what to do.

I understand a lot of people are expecting to see something major, like 100k+ for example but at this point we have no clue how high it can go. I think it should be something that could be quite marginal and could actually make a lot of money for the long term as well, that should be the key.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: March 12, 2024, 04:49:52 PM
They have their own narrative behind, so If I were you, I wouldn't listen to them or to any so called experts in this market as there are non. So what if it will go down to $42k? What you are going to do? You going to panic and sell your stash? If that is the case then that's what they wanted you to do, sell your BTC at cheap price from you and the rest of us. But if you know how the market operates, I wouldn't do that. On the contrary, it might be good to continue to stack stats at $42k, even at the bull run, everyone can still continue to save and then wait till it reaches new all time high in 2025 at a minimum of $100k.
I think selling your bitcoin during this period could be one of the biggest mistakes you could ever do. Doesn't matter if it goes well or badly, there is really nothing that could be wrong with that. I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just holding your coins, it could be going down a lot, or it could be going up a lot and in both cases you should keep holding it.

If you sell because it looks like it peaked, then you could be wrong and it could keep going higher, if you sell because it went low then it could stop going lower the moment you sell and could recover and keep going higher and you would lose. The best thing to do is keep holding your coins and that should be the most important part of it.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 12, 2024, 09:19:06 AM
Liverpool were simply the better team in that game and I expected them to win the game but they weren't just prolific enough to convert their chances in that game even when they created so many clear chances. Pep Guardiola I think will be very happy with the result yesterday because his team was the weaker team but still managed to get a draw in a game that's as crucial as that game. Football will always remain the best sports because of the kind of quality moments it produces just like the game between Liverpool and Manchester City yesterday.
That is what I believed as well, like when I watched the game I felt like Liverpool fully dominated the game. However, when I check back on the stats, they have about same amount of shots, and nearly same amount of possessions, similar pass accuracy, it really doesn't have that much different in the end neither. That doesn't really feel like it would be that close, the game itself when you watched it felt like Liverpool had many more chances, like at least double if not more, and yet the shots on target were all the same.

So, I am guessing that it felt like that because of higher chances since their shots were a bit more closer? Not entirely sure but that doesn't mean that the game was one sided, it looks like it was pretty even.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 12, 2024, 08:21:42 AM
Porto will try defensive tactics because they already have the advantage in the first leg. Porto can play very well with their defense. This can be seen from the first leg. But Arsenal played as host in this match. That will give them additional morale and motivation to win the match. Even though it was difficult to win the match against Brentford, I think the match against Porto will be different because Arteta will really prepare a strategy and Arsenal will go all out to win the match. I predict Arsenal will progress to the next round.
Having a narrow lead of one goal in the first leg is still not necessarily safe for FC Porto in the second leg which they will play tomorrow. Because Arsenal is also a quite dangerous team when playing in the Champions League with the motivation of being the host, FC Porto still has to try to score a goal in the second leg even though they also have to make a fairly good defensive strategy because if the lead is still very small, of course FC Porto themselves must be aware that they still need to fight hard at home to Arsenal.
I agree, Arsenal is a far far better team and I am guessing that they are going to end up with a win easily and get ahead. That feels like that would be the most important part of the situation and should not be all that easy to get greater. I get that it is not going to be all that confusing, but it feels as if we are talking about something that would be a lot major. I hope to see something changing eventually, but if we are keeping this situation going then we need to really provide some big betting.

I will bet on Arsenal to win, doesn't mean that I will bet them to go to next stage, but I will just bet on them to win the 90 minutes which is very likely. To be fair, it is also very likely that they will go to quarter finals too.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 12, 2024, 04:41:42 AM
Girona this season has appeared very impressive since the start of the season until now their target of entering the top four has been achieved. And now they are only maintaining second place until the end of the season even though it is tough because Barcelona is slowly starting to catch up on points from Girona, who are currently only one point behind. Girona being in third place is also an extraordinary achievement, especially being able to compete for La Liga runners-up until the end of the season.

But what I'm afraid of next season is that if they don't bring in quality players then they will fall back into the middle of the standings, even in the UCL League they will fail in the group phase. Usually that's the case, because all the coaches at other clubs will have a lot to learn about how to stop Girona's tactics. This often happens to lower level clubs who suddenly find themselves at the top of the league. Just look at Wofsburg 2008/2009 in Germany, Leicester City 2015/2016. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico next season will still dominate the top four in La Liga.
I feel like it is not really going to be all that easy to handle, it looks as if Girona is doing something incredible but at the same time they made us so used to them being great that when they are doing fine, it is not really all that shocking. Think about it, are you feeling the same way about them as the start of the season?

Like for example during the first 10 weeks of the season and all, we were all so shocked that they were leading the league, and it was an incredible achievement. Now that I look at them beating Ossasuna, and I am like "yeah of course, as expected". This is why I believe that we are not going to get anything major out of this season, they will finish second or third at worst, the real success will be keeping this up next season.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 11, 2024, 05:51:24 PM
I am kind of disappointed from the rest of the Republican party runners, to be honest. I knew Donald Trump was likely to be the front runner of the race, but I was also expecting more of a tougher fight between him, Nikki and DeSantis. In the even one of the less likely runners (Nikki) was the last one to drop off the race and she did not endorse Trump.

I would like to be as sure as you are on the result of the elections, by the way. But I have not found myself yet to be in such position, Trump continues to gain sympathy among many of the Republican voters, specially since his indictments started to pile up one after another.

At this state of the presidential campaign, the choice seems to be in the hands of the silent Republican voters who do not think positively about Trump and are more likely not to vote for him (either because he will stay home in election day or will end up voting for Biden).
If American politics were normal, then Trump would not be in the race any longer and some establishment Republican would take his place as nominee.
To be fair when there is a president that goes for a re-election, not that many high quality people actually go for nomination. There is a huge chance that you do not end up getting endless amount of nominations, you try your hand a few times max and then you are done, and it would also impact your position as well, so you should be careful when you throw your hat in the ring. Plus, when you are the nominee, you end up saying bad things about other nominees, which means if you end up losing, you are going to get a lot of backlash on that.

So, only people who are not that great goes up against a re-election candidate. Trump and Biden has that advantage, but after this one, I am pretty sure we are going to get two new candidates for 2028 by both parties, and I am sure it will be pretty strong.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: March 11, 2024, 06:19:45 AM
Trading can be an up and down like the market volatility not all the time we are earning free money with the market, you can make a reset if you lose a position at the end of the day you are aiming for the profit. Based on my experience once the BTC gets sleep with the market price movement I hunt other pairs of coins that could be a potential good position, do the basic TA, check if ideal to trade and if you are quite confident to create a position. Every mistake is part of the lesson to trade so you can avoid it next time but if you continuously make this mistake and becomes a habit you are just wasting your money and time.
I agree that these movements are the parts where people make their profit, and these ups and downs are a must, both of them at the same time. This is why I believe that we are talking about something that's a little bit different, and not going to feel the same.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be something that could actually benefit everyone, so it should not be all that confusing to have both up and down. You can't have only up, and you can't have only down, you need to have both up and down at the same time. This should not be all that confusing, it is not going to be something that benefits you in the end. We should consider this part of the natural process of the market, and trade within those movements.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 11, 2024, 03:54:53 AM
I do not think that it would be "impossible" for him to leave, anyone can leave any club, it wouldn't be a shock at all but I think it would more in the tune of "unlikely". He seems happy there, but you never know what can happen. He is getting older, if he was 25 or something then I can see him leave for another team, that would make sense but at the end of the day we are not seeing them change at all, it seems like he is old now and nobody at high level clubs would want him, not to buy him at least.

Liverpool is the highest place he could keep playing for and he will do that. Kelleher is just experiment of Klopp, he likes to play young guys to rest older ones, but I am sure that Alisson will come back and play once again, many times, even after Klopp leaves.
I would guess that the leaving would more likely be more in the tune of him getting ready to retire. He doesn't have to retire, he could find some club in Brazil and continue, imagine like how Buffon did, that guy played until 45 but he was barely playing, he just kept himself busy, there are a lot of players like that.

So I am assuming that, if he ever leaves Liverpool, that means his playing is over, or at least his serious playing is over, and that means he will either go to Saudi Arabia, or he will go to some small club and play there for maybe as much as 10 years or a bit less but he will not be able to play seriously anywhere. Who would hire a 30+ year old for long term? Not really an ideal situation for a transfer.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 10, 2024, 06:06:34 PM
Napoli couldn't secure a winning score against Blaugrana in the first leg and its pure motivation for Barcelona to fight back in the second leg. Barcelona will hosts Napoli in the second leg of round of 16, an important game that deserves the big winning from the exact club that clinched on winning form. Nobody gets a clear view except for clubs that have fought really hard to enter significant phase in the UEFA Champions League. Xavi Hernandez will ensure everything works smoothly as plan for his side because he already missed out on the La Liga title race but the UEFA Champions League will be intact for them this season.
Both teams still have the opportunity to qualify for the next round of the Champions League. With the results they achieved in the first leg, it made the match much tougher, because both of them realized that their opportunities were still really wide open. Perhaps the difference lies in the status of the two teams in this match, Barcelona, who previously appeared as the visiting team, is now their turn to host. In terms of benefits, it is clear that this is a very big advantage for Barcelona.
However, Napoli, who will act as the visiting team, are not coming with resignation, they are coming with the target of winning, because that is what can enable them to qualify for the next round.
I don't know, I believe Barcelona is far superior than Napoli these days, sure Barcelona had some tough period this season but looking at how they are looking right now, I can say that it looks like they are doing fine in the end and not really dealing with that much trouble.

I believe that we are going to see them do fine as well eventually. I get that it looks like Napoli is close, but they had a horrible season so far and their initial manager was so bad that they fired him and yet the one that got there didn't improve the team at all and still end up making a big loss. I think it's quite obvious that we are going to end up with a lot more trouble on the long run, and that should not be all that easy to handle at all.
