I have a message trying to send my XMG:

How to fix it?
Blockchain redownload or some of wallet commands?

Is the wallet fully synced? Also see if -rescan does the help. |

Trying to get the magi wallet fixed at poswallet; they said it keeps disconnecting every few seconds.
Does anyone have a fix for that?
They contacted me a while ago and I provided a link to blockchain to fix. |

I'm sorry, but I didn't read anything interesting in the first page of this thread. What's the point of a new PoW coin?
I don't doubt that if one chases something popular and "interesting". One of the focuses regarding the overall vision here is about low-energy mining, as opposite to mining secured with the cost of energies which would be a concern sooner or later. I advocate it as an important step (IMO) for the crypto towards future usage. Certainly I don't impose limits (features) just like this. |

The news does sound uncomfortable, and sort of sad, that one decision could make so much difference just in seconds, and not just us but many too. I recalled the time when they are yet gaining the popularity we had some associations with them, talking about listing XMG with submission through web, reviewing in IRC, etc. I guess this isn't their style any more. While I'm nowhere certain how I can be effective, I'll certainly talk to them.

at DMD we have the problem one all time high hunt the next and still we hardly gain any slots on coinmarketcap
its a general crypto raise this days which affect any serious projects (and even some who dont deserve it)

I've added a FAQ section in the OP. There is a "FAQ" at the very top that links to where the section is located. Currently there is only one entry in dealing with one of the PoS questions as just being asked. I'm aware that we're missing documentation, and as I mentioned (long long ago), I'd bring up a wiki site. It was so so much overdue, while it does be something I got to do.
I'm also aware people are looking forward to what magi is gonna be, so called roadmap. I thought it'd be something quick; well, it's easy to say it but NOT easy to do it, and I would certainly not add things that won't come true. It's rather assured that I'm thinking what to add, seriously, and what's added shall be in consistence with the magi's vision under the overall cryptocurrency scene, which is the base line.

Since I'm running both https://poolinfo.systms.org and https://poolinfo.systms.org/map/ i've decided to make my node public for anyone to use and connect to. IPv4 IPv6 addnode=2001:41d0:302:2100::4c54 As this node is used for showing connected peers on https://poolinfo.systms.org/map/ , an guesstimated position for your connection will be showed on the map with wallet version and your isp. I will not publish the connected ip. So please, feel free to use them Thanks, bud. I suggest to setup above nodes as much as possible. BTW such fun in exploring the map. |

Hi sir, its version 1.3.1. and windows 7 64bit. it shows that it is synchronizing with network, it takes forever For quick sync: 1) Backup wallet.dat; 2) Delete everything under the Magi or .magi folder except wallet.dat; 3) Download block chain from here http://coinmagi.org/bin/block-chain/ and unzip the file; 4) Put all of the contents under the folder m-blockchain into Magi or .magi; 5) Launch the wallet. |

So : I checked on the Pi and there is not that address anywhere in my wallet. Also, while there is outcoming transactions in my history on my Windows computer, they do not appear on the Pi. All of this is very strange, so if someone could help me track it all using a block explorer and find a solution, I would grate him by let's say 200 XMG.
Unfortunately, Everything I can think of to get your funds back has already been tried - I hope you somehow manage to recover your missing Magi. But could you find a particular reason of why there is an outgoing transaction on one wallet and not on the other one ? I think my initial theory was right : this is an unfinished staking. Still waiting for someone that could nicely help me find out what is the problem and if there is a solution. Joe would definitely be the guy I need. It would be definitive from exploring your transactions: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg. If the address you're inquiring is not present in your pi, I guess that's why the missing track. |

Regarding the plans, in addition to prior plans already in progress I have some features else in mind including the wallet itself, the miners, and some easy-handle tools for staking / mining, things like that. Additionally, I seriously consider something else to be merged into the coin, for example, anonymity would be a one on the list I'd look at. It seems like I need some more time to get these sorted out, just to be sure the things are good to go and to be done firmly.
You all are welcome to suggest the features you want to be into the coin.

Hey ! Long time since my last come. And sadly, after another try to reach up my wallet on my Pi, I got a blk[something] error. I do not know what we said last time about this, but I might be generous if the problem is solved tonight !
Hey bud, do you use the new wallet? What if you follow the new release guide? You mean on the Pi ? This thing is so much a mess to use. I wish I could extract whatever I need to and put in on my Windows computer and do whatever is needed there. Can I do this in some way ? I don't know the Pi, if it's a linux OS you just need the wallet.dat file located in the .magi folder in the /home from your user. Install the magi wallet in windows and put the wallet.dat in the blockchain folder, I think it is located under %APPDATA% by default, I changed the blockchain folder on my setup so I don't exactly know where is it by default. Do a backup of your wallet.dat before doing anything if you accidentally delete this file you will lose your magi. I can not find the wallet.dat file on my Pi (and yes it is running on a Linux OS). I browsed manually the files and could not find it, nor with the search function. I hope you found .magi folder as mentioned by Elar. I'm afraid you have a different db version from official release, so moving wallet.dat to windows won't work. One simple thing is to empty all stuffs under .magi folder except for wallet.data, and relaunch your magid or qt wallet; let's see what happens then. |
