261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RavenCoin will moon next week on: June 12, 2019, 03:58:22 PM
Have you heard anything about RavenCoin mooning within the next  week or two.

There was a rumour that the team will have the event and they are going to present something that will make it grow 5-6 times in price?

Or is it a fraud?   Huh
Don't believe in rumours, If you base your buys on rumours then you might lose a lot in crypto.RavenCoin is good(Do your research), It will go 5x+ without any rumours or fake announcements etc..
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2019, 03:45:16 PM

Would love to transition all of my family expenses to crypto!

There are so many places where Bitcoin is accepted, A few sites I know of like egifter,Bitrefill,Namecheap etc..  You could search on google for loads of sites.
263  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why are people rushing to buy the IEO at Binance? on: June 10, 2019, 05:32:31 PM
Re: Why are people rushing to buy the IEO at Binance?

Probably because people are hoping to get the same returns like in 2017 ICO bubble. They're basically bigger gamblers; as if bitcoin wasn't risky and volatile enough for them.

It's the new hype in investing and investors are in a hurry to take part because they know that it could probably not last, just like what happen to ICO on its heyday, where every ICO launch are successful even those duplicate project, I'll give IEO two years like and it will suffer like what ICO is suffering now.
Exactly, IEOs are hot now but eventually they will become like ICOs. But after that there might be some other thing that would make money.
264  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Phone for 2fa on: June 09, 2019, 07:04:30 AM

If you use Authy - all of your information is saved on your Authy account. Meaning, all of your 2fa accounts and info are linked to your phone number. That means you can remove your SIM, put it into another phone, and that new phone now has the same functionality as the old one.

Looks new for me,this is app is available for android? I am currently using google authenticator, recently I am upgraded to oneplus 7 pro for that I removed all the 2FA accounts from my old phone then reinstalled everything on new mobile which is kind of headache for a lazy person like me.If there is something will automatically transfer I will go for it. Smiley
Yep. Authy is available on Android, I've been using it for years. Make sure you use strong password for encryption, Whenever you setup Authy on a new device (Previously backuped) you'll be asked to enter decryption password.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - next generation platform, Secured by Bitcoin on: June 08, 2019, 04:46:44 PM
and what about ledger ? is it safe ?
Ledger is safe. Problem was related to Agama wallet only, If you didn't input your Ledger seed or WIF then you're fine.

I know the team is now trying to do damage control, Komodo is a project I have been with since the start and I don't understand whythe team is still having this problem, remember in the beginning one of the first exchange the tokens were listed on got hacked, can't recollect the name of that particular exchange.now the team is hacking investors money
To save people's money team hacked themselves. This was only Agama specific attack, Ledger and other wallet users weren't affected. It shows how good the team is, Compare it with Gatehub hack(XRP), They weren't able to do anything while Komodo team were able to save 90%(Still not clear on this might be more) of the affected fund. Everyone will get their Komodo back.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - next generation platform, Secured by Bitcoin on: June 08, 2019, 07:24:51 AM
Spent all your ICO money? Now you are stealing from people who are on vacation or those who can't access their wallet.

This is a good explanation why no other major exchanges wont list this vaporware coin
ICO money is still there and it's used for notarization costs. Komodo team swept balances to save it from hacker, If hacker had it first before Komodo team, It would have been catastrophic for the project. Even XRP wallet got hacked and they couldn't do anything to stop it but Komodo team did what they had to.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: June 08, 2019, 07:02:58 AM
Telegram Shitgram who cares...  we need pump! Are we gonna grow wings and fly or not. Seven months have passed, noobs have been shaken out, its now safe to move up to a higher altitude. Waves is like a stupid toddler with fat thighs, cant go straight direction, just messing and mocking around like a goddamn slob. It just needs a nice leg kick for it to start moving.
"Safe to move up"? Lol. Pump will happen when you least expect it, Did you miss the last pump? Maybe upcoming sales of VST tokens will get Waves pumping.

Last pump? What pump? Are u retarded, open the fucking chart and look at the pattern. What do u think about the last seven months of waves progress? Huh  Cheesy
You're stupid. Wasn't Waves pumped to 0.0012 BTC few months back? You being stupid obviously bought at the top and now bitching about pump, Smart people sell and wait for opportunities like current one, I doubled my Waves with that pump. If you don't like how Waves is performing move to something else, Go cry somewhere else.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: June 07, 2019, 05:03:32 PM
Of couse that IEOs could turn out to a scam. There is no warranty that this can´t happen. But you can reduce the risk by choosing only IEOs on reputable exchanges - Bittrex and Binance.

Imagine fraudsters who conspire with a cryptocurrency exchange. And that they will steal $ 100,000,000 and then you yourself will figure out the credibility of authority. No one can give us guarantees of success. Keep this in mind when choosing a project and you should not believe the picture.
Would Binance tarinsh their reputation for just $100 million?  Have you seen BNB's marketcap, It's fucking $4.5 Billion. They are making so much more money out of their IEOs pump and dump and so are a lucky few. Small exchanges IEOs are questionable though.

If you have already used Agama in the last 2 months with that seed than its "ok" to use it again to move the funds. If you have not used it for more than 4 months then you can leave them just on the seed. We recommend moving all funds (all coins) out Please remain clam and move your funds securely. What wallet can I use? 1. Paper wallet (best to use in offline computer) - https://support.komodoplatform.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000024508-paper-wallet-guide 2. Use native mode from source - https://github.com/jl777/komodo 3. Use pre-compiled binary for native mode - https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/komodo/releases/tag/beta-multios-0.3.3b-2 4. KomodoOceanQT wallet - https://komodoplatform.com/komodo-wallets/ - guide: https://support.komodoplatform.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000027990-install-komodo-ocean-wallet 5. Ledger 6. Send to Exchange (if you trust CEX)

So basically, if you've not used the seed in any shape way or form for over 4 months you can chill??
Yes, Malcious package was introduced in March that transmitted typed seed to a remote server. But just to be safe create a new wallet and use it until there's a new non JavaScript lite wallet available.

So even if you copied and pasted your seed into agama you would be ok?

They failed to mention any of this in the announcements in discord, they made it seem like everyone needed to move funds out of agama immediately. I guess its better to be safe than sorry but I dropped everything I was doing yesterday to move funds out...took me a while to find best alternative too.

I must say that out of all my years in crypto I have never come across a situation like this, where the CORE DEVS release a wallet with code that would allow peoples funds to get stolen..
No it wouldn't be okay, Typed/copied seed or WIF from version 3.5 and above transmitted everything to a remote server, Moving every coin to a new wallet is advised. Team did mistake by relying on external packages, That won't happen again as they're building an alternative to Agama.

272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: June 05, 2019, 06:34:26 PM

Even i am not interested to trade the coins in the HitBtc exchange because we are hearing many negative comments from the people who lost their money through this exchange. It is good to send the token to the TaaS smart contract in order to get our full value to the coin.

To get Taas tokens out of HitBtc is expensive, now fee is 7.972 tokens (over 10$), some time former this was something 25 tokens, I think that 1 token would be OK, surely HitBtc is taking what they can.

Not only with the TaaS, but they will also charge a very high fee for depositing the coins in their exchanges. It is impossible for any customer to hold the coin in HitBtc exchange because recently we are hearing many negative comments about this HitBtc exchange.

There seem to have no choice left here. HitBTC use to be great, I have been using the exchange for sometime, if you don't mind the withdrawal fees, its going to be your exchange to go specially when they are the only who list the coin.

Im wating 3 Weeks now to get my account veryfied. Send them the Documents via Email. But nothing happend... damn. Hopefully my Id is not used for shitty stuff...

Is it now a mandatory to verify accounts with documents?
Yes. It's mandatory to do KYC, You won't get the liquidation share if you're not authorized, there's plenty of time though to do the KYC.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - next generation platform, Secured by Bitcoin on: June 05, 2019, 05:34:24 PM
Oh, dear... what's todo if i cant start my agama to transfer the coins. i'm using my password -> agama (0.3.6b) is starting and then everything disappears. Just a white window.. Cry
First check if your balance is on your addresses on kmdexplorer. If it's there then use your seed in chameleon wallet and then create a new wallet using versus and move everything there. If your funds are moved by kmd team then file a claim https://forms.gle/kAQYPcN2aEwU83av7
Don't panic. Join telegram and or discord groups for updates or clarifications.

congratulations everyone for getting scammed !!
Scammed how? Did I miss anything? Price has fallen a lot and I don't see any hope of it to returning to It's previous high, Unless they list on Binance or announce huge partnership.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - big announcement on the 1st June on: June 03, 2019, 05:11:46 PM
Hello, what is your opinion about new social platform Voice  that is going to be launched by Block.one (creators of EOS).
Do you think that they can succeed? Even Google wasn´t successful with its Google+. And do you see any use case of EOS on this platform?

Only time will tell. I do hope people to move from the current broken social network platforms to fully decentralized ones (Some day).
276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I am looking for a virtual visa or mastercard of $10-$15 in return of btc on: June 02, 2019, 05:02:30 PM
I want to get a virtual visa or mastercard that can be used internationally. I have Indian debit cards but unfortunately, I can't use them for international purchases online. I need a card of $15 or less. Can you suggest me some companies or sites where I can buy it with bitcoins?
Doesn't your bank offer international cards? You should ask your bank to enable it maybe or open an account with a bank that provides international transaction facility. Most of the virtual cards don't work /provided in certain regions, So better call your bank.
277  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloudbet/fortunejack legit? on: June 02, 2019, 04:51:07 PM
I can vouch for Fortunejack, I've gambled there before, They're in Crypto gambling scene from 2014 I think. I have no idea about cloudbet, Never played there. That said you must do some searches / read reviews before you deposit some coins for gambling.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB overtake ETH? POLL on: June 01, 2019, 06:00:05 PM
In a sense it has already started taking over ETH, Look at all the IEOs on Binance. . Many ERC-20 projects are moving to Binance chain, Binance will slowly take over and control everything! Except ATOM they haven't listed any new coins, They're only listing their IEO tokens. So project which (are forced to) use BNB are getting listed on most used / liquid exchange, Don't you think they're controlling everything? No more user voted coin listing.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hack any wallet? on: June 01, 2019, 05:44:39 PM
So there are 12 words chosen from thousands to recover any wallet.

If you iterate through random word combinations you will eventually generate a wallet that exists, correct?

I know the number of combinations is astronomical. But in theory if you keep generating random phrases, you might eventually stumble upon a wallet holding millions?

There are brute force attack software versions that are used to crack passwords just by guessing random letters and numbers.I think that such software would need years to generate the correct 12 word combination.

It would take centuries to maybe stumble upon a wallet with Bitcoins in it. Brute forcing seed is just useless at present time, In future who knows we might have systems that might be able to, But by that time we would also have better way of protecting our seeds, Only those who lost their wallet / didn't upgrade wallet will be affected.
