261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: January 03, 2021, 07:42:07 PM
I don't think that there would ever be such service it is like convincing people to be a gambler without a fear of losing.
If they couldn't control their own bets then they should stop gambling or they would justbe destroyed due to addiction.
My sincere concerns toward this type of service if ever exist is, it will definitely help in the increase of gambling addicts to what we have had in the past. Gambling is all about luck and if a service decide to add insurance for gambler believe me they will definitely end their service on short-term. Such service will incur huge loose withing a short-period of time becasue everyone gambler out there will buy into their service to share their loos.

263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: January 03, 2021, 03:12:22 PM
Odds are very important this is to verify that you are doing it right and you have a good chance to win, yes I do look on the odds, it's very tempting to look on the odds, because we all want to win and we like to assure ourselves that the odds favor our bets and we can proceed with it.
Truly said, sometimes most of my games (sport games) do give me headache when choosing games by their odds, there are tempting odds in most of my gambling platforms but with control and discipline i do ensure the management of this. The best i do for myself during this period is going with the teams i understand best and am a fan of and not the other way round, chasing after odds si sometimes disastrous.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: January 03, 2021, 02:53:42 PM
I have been curious about these, trying to know exactly the countries of the world where gambling is more. I don’t live in any of the country’s but I have Always known Australia as the hotspot for gambling.
Likewise me too but what i know about the list is: Australia is not just a poor country like ours but rich country, so, see them staying on top of the list not a surprised to me. Also, we shouldn't forget that some other countries were gambling is be banned and monitored by government might be involved in using VPN which could equally contribute to this top list of gambling countries IMO.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 03, 2021, 02:42:22 PM
Sorry for your big loss, if this things won’t happen we will not realise the importance of 2fa security feature. But I think even without your 2fa enabled, the site should automatically notify you if there’s a suspicious login to your account. In my opinion the site was accountable for that incident.
I don't think that they should be really accountable for this, and op still has a mistake for not enabling 2fa when we know that this kind of incidence is becoming more rampant. It's a part of being careful and securing our account but since he didn't enable it, he was vulnerable to getting robbed. But it's good that their support team is responsive and helpful to op though I don't think the site would be giving back the money that he lost or something because it's not really their fault. At least op learned his lessons now.
Their response is the worth help (enough) but doubted if they will give some money to OP as it was not their fault. it is really our responsibility to take care of our account and that OP might not also blind to what it happens around, we can't just ignore the rampant hacking incident but it was very unfortunate how OP neglected to see and let this thing to happen before he realized.
I hope we never hear this thing again and to know how important it was.
There were such incident in the past and nothing was actually not be given to the victims becasue it's not the fault of the gambling platform but the gambler. Possibly this will be a lesson to all gamblers and investors to be careful about securing their account first before proceed to make deposit. Sincerely, most of my gambling platforms registered always go along with 2fa except if the gambling platform doesn't required such, but almost my cryptocurrency exchanges do go with 2fa for more security against hackers.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 02, 2021, 09:52:26 AM

I think even logan paul thinks he has no chance.
We don't need to read what he think, he really has no chance against Floyd, no one can beat Floyd even in an exhibition fight. Logan Paul here does fight to make money, not to win, just trying to be realistic here.
Then; even Floyd Mayweather does too, they are both in the same boat, we can't quickly forget what happened in Floyd Mayweather last fight, they all shown they are after the money and not give out entertainment fight we used to see in their respective fight. Basically, these types should be scrape out becasue they are making the boxing industry boring honestly.
I doubt they will. even with its boringness it still brings money and these money-hungry promoters/"boxer" aren't going let this opportunity pass. even with this circus show, I am still glad that there is still boxers worth watching where they give their all in order to win and not just for the money.
You mean in the likes of these unmatched boxing we are currently having in this industry you're glad to still watch their boxing?, the last that happened doesn't worth my watch and ("Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20") this won't also worth my watch becasue logan pau isn't a match to Floyd Mayweather in terms of ring management|positions, we need a fight we all will be happy to watch again.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 02, 2021, 09:26:32 AM
I don't understand how anyone can live out of gambling
You can use search engines to look for those people that have made it through gambling. A lot of lives were made out of it and professional people used it as a source of income.
That is why they're called professional gamblers.
And the beautiful thing that has happened to most of these professional gamblers is: almost all of them went bankrupt at the end of their lives. Some of us just love reading some part of stories than read the tale end of such stories, even in my dear country many of them i knew went down their lives to bankrupt and end up to commit suicide.

269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: January 01, 2021, 09:20:26 PM
Stop loss reduces the risk of trading a lot you keep the stop loss, even if the price goes down you don't have to face much loss. But as prices rise so do the currencies stop loss reduces the risk for every trader to trade in that case their capital is much safer the price increase of currencies depends on the demand of the market.
And we should always remember that this tool isn't available on spot trading. Well this tool is the best thing that will happen to anyone in this industry when the coins price went down horrifically and the trader stand a bigger chance to buy more coin. This is the only tool that help in managing huge risk while talking trading in term of margin and future cryptocurrency trading.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: January 01, 2021, 08:50:37 PM
Due to what is happening in the Bitcoin market would made me stand with the said price becasue the movement in bitcoin price when it hit the value of $25k was amazing and without delay it moved to $29k. The value of the current bitcoin price has clearly shown that with some little push from institutional investors we could easily clock the value of $35k soonest, so, for us to get the bitcoin price at this $35k isn't something that's hard becasue we're close to clocking $30k. Some will buy bitcoin when it price move considerably.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will reaching 100k be a self-fulfilling prophecy? on: January 01, 2021, 07:32:17 PM
Actually Youtuber has no knowledge what are they talking even hard to understand their analysis. Youtuber only care about their views and they try to put attractive title to get attention from the viewers it's better your use mind before make any investment because nobody can give us guarantee in case of loss.
Most of these you-tubers are influencers and i for one don't have respect to whatsoever they said or saying to a particular project (even in terms of price) in this world of cryptocurrency. There is no point in listening to a prophet without a prior knowledge of prophecy like in this case, most of them don't really understand this technology in my humble opinion compare to them making forecast for the industry, i have long ago learned not to trust any of these prophets.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have jump to $27000, can this be maintain by 2021? on: January 01, 2021, 07:07:58 PM
Bitcoin waiting for $50k after success raise above $29k, just waiting few months later bitcoin back on the track and keep going up for this year, good moment for bitcoin back again to higher price after last year become dominance for bitcoin price break above $20k. Later bitcoin raise more higher price and maybe more than $30k in this year.
There is probably a resistance for $30k becasue several times the Bitcoin price has hitted the said $29k+ without making it move toward the $30k, but, the said amount isn't that hard for bitcoin to meet. If bitcoin price will continue with this trending then the $30k amount won't be far for realizing before the month of January, 2021. Currently, if the bitcoin dominance continue there will be more higher value than just aiming at the $30k landmark before the first quarter of 2021.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.US is going to suspend XRP trading and deposit on: December 31, 2020, 07:43:15 AM
Binance US going to suspend XRP trading and deposit from january 13!
https://support.binance.us/hc/en-us/articles/1500000956801
This fight is for the US base cryptocurrency exchanges only, so, Binance among others must comply strictly to avoid the wrought of the SEC in accordance to laws that govern them, though this law suit will have serious impact on ripple existence but doubt if this project will come back strong again. The fact that the law suit doesn't affect other jurisdiction shouldn't give hope to it investors of still holding their scam coin becasue it will do more harm to them than expected.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1inch exchange token claim on: December 31, 2020, 07:32:12 AM
it has become a trend now to only use the exchanger to make transactions to get big prizes as has been done by UNI and 1inch the prizes that are not small but very much, honey i not got that moment continue to transact in the new defi exchangers likely they will do the same
Not a trend mate, there are still some new decentralized exchange that doesn't airdropped tokens to participants (traders), the two exchange we have seen was UNI and this current one 1inch. Well, the two exchange has done good by not announce their positions before hand becasue this would made many traders game the whole process. Though haven't be lucky from the previous two that happened but will but my ass together to look-out for the upcoming one to participate.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: December 31, 2020, 07:08:41 AM
SEC Sues Ripple Over XRP Cryptocurrency

The news is here. They claims that the ripple violate investor-protection laws. Combine with the latest airdrop, Ripple can not stand before a big storm like this. But I believe it will become stronger when it overcome this crisis. To me, ripple has long a strong and trust asset in the crypto world. Even if it is centralized, ripple and xrp are better than any bank
Ripple come back strong?, well, maybe after 2-3 years of battling with the SEC because this law suit against them is likely to exceed 2-3 years from now. As you have ax-ray what made SEC sue them, ripple has done more harm to investors than good, so, doesn't deserve a come back as a cryptocurrency in my honest opinion. For them to come, they should restructure their project in accordance to the rules that govern cryptocurrency and not fiat.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OKCoin suspend XRP trading and deposits (after Coinbase announcement) on: December 31, 2020, 06:59:18 AM
coinbase, bitstamp and now okcoin, this is really bad. in the market, ripple is the most unlucky altcoin because it is not enjoying the ongoing increase. the more exchanges that start suspending ripple, the harder it will be for ripple to survive. and maybe this will be the hardest time for this coin.
This will definitely be the hardest time for ripple (if the coin will be back to existence again) becasue after these aforementioned cryptocurrency exchange de-listing ripple from their platforms more others will follow which won't be good for ripple as altcoin. Well, i don't really blame SEC for this suit against ripple becasue they did more harm to investors (including myself). Most of the time it value went down was from their unlimited supply in their shitcoin which they used as an advantage to unlimitedly dumped coins on investors regularly.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 31, 2020, 06:46:38 AM
Cheesy maybe 50BTC will be okay to take care of myself and my families, we'll know that there are currency differences between us forum members and base on my currency i would love to hold 50BTC.
Hia! You raised a very outrageous and unrealistic standard here oh. Do you know what that 50btc amounts to in the present day Naira value? Even those top Nigerian polithieftians are likely not to have that type of cash stolen from the government. That's >$1,425,000, then multiply it with the naira. That's very huge. Well, I think any discerning and business oriented person in my country will secure their future with 3-5btc thrown at them at the current level. For me, that's all I need.
You're absolutely right, but not just for myself alone, if this be realizable then my first generation won't beg the government to survive. You might look at this 50BTC big for an individual but probably not for my first generation, the 2-3BTC won't be of help in anyway to my first generation. Those polithieftians don't usually stole for themselves but both for their generations unborn, maybe after this post God will make this 50BTC deposit into my future wallet  Grin.

Cheesy maybe 50BTC will be okay to take care of myself and my families, we'll know that there are currency differences between us forum members and base on my currency i would love to hold 50BTC. The future might not be clear but with the said Bitcoin anyone future in Nigeria should be very clear like crystal balls. Although things might be different from now that will make the wants increase in the nearest future becasue "human want can't be satisfied."
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian crypto educator returns $80k in bitcoin recieve by mistake. on: December 30, 2020, 06:45:21 PM
really good to hear that there are still people with good hearts in the world, shows there's still hope
It would be rare to have such people around now but still humanity in the world exists and really that person needs to be applauded for his wonderful act of being honest and retuning back which was not his bitcoin. Today its value would be huge but still kindness never goes waste and he would receive it in some or other way in his life much bigger.
Sincerely speaking the value as at today would made anyone in Nigeria live rich but he returned the funds back was something else, becasue many on social media criticize his gentle action. Although, we all know how far the name called Nigeria has been ridiculed on the internet and many don't believe that the said country can have reputable inhabitants who possibly could make a point, it's will take time to redeem the country image but there are still good and kind heartened individuals like this one.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done to you? on: December 30, 2020, 06:23:42 PM
Categorically, the price  Bitcoin give recently made me believed that it value won't come down to some ridiculous point anymore as we have seen in the past years of Bitcoin. Bitcoin proved everything beyond reasonable doubt that it investment on long-term won't just be in vain but such that will be reward-able. At the moment Bitcoin has reinstate my instinct for it existence, because most of us doubted Bitcoin price to make it all time high this 2020 and the surprise wasn't just like what we saw in the past years of Bitcoin existence.
