261  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Big Halvening Price Rise on: July 09, 2016, 11:01:47 PM
There will be no big BTC Halvening price rise. You heard it here first.

It will need some time to see that the price or will increase or decrease, this because miners are mostly affected by the halving. Now it's the beginning of the month and probably most of miners have already paid the bills so starting from the next month i expect the bitcoin price to be changed.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are now at block 420,000 on: July 09, 2016, 10:58:29 PM
The production of Bitcoin has been cut in half.

Happy halving everyone!

Why should I be happy? Why the halving should make me happy? I saw some people (maybe VIP) in LA celebrating the bitcoin halving, is it really needed? I saw a drop on bitcoin price then went back to normal but we can't see immediately the effects.
263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How old is earth on: July 09, 2016, 10:55:27 PM
10 years or something

OP is not asking for your age Cheesy. There are many theories about the age of the earth but ranking should be like this, Universe > Our Solar System > Earth. From an article that i read [1] the age of earth should be few billion years.

264  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: July 09, 2016, 10:48:55 PM
It's coming

That's almost half of the current price, I don't think that bitcoin price will go so much lower because it's not the time to see a big crash instead of an increase of it. Even if the crash happens i think that the price will be $400 and up.

266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hacker trying so hard, should I be worried ? on: July 09, 2016, 10:22:50 PM
I wanted to log in as everyday to my Yobit account to get the daily reward of my promotion for them via my posts. Usually I can log in from any IP with 2FA google authenticator. This time although I was accessing Yobit from my home PC it asked for a code in which was sent to my email. It was a long string of capital letters. Now I have my email with 2FA also cannot be accessed without mobile phone sms code from other computers.
Should I be worried or is just another try from some persistent hacker which cannot beat the 2FA so far ?

As long as you have the 2FA I would not worry about the hacker(s) attempts. People can try resetting your password but I think it will not affect your current password(depends from the platforms).
Suggestion: try to use another email address only for exchanges.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's Halving Day! What Can You Say? on: July 09, 2016, 10:19:18 PM
The moment we all have been waiting for (well, to most of us but not all!) has come. Does your excitement or expectations about halving are happening at the moment or nothing has changed?

How and what do you feel now that halving is already here? Are you happy or frustrated at this very moment?

I think that a good number of us have thought that when the halving will happen the price will increase immediately but we can see it didn't happened, the halving effect will be seen probably at the end of this year or next year.
268  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgent loan for my family on: July 09, 2016, 10:11:33 PM
While I was checking my account I saw a negative feedback (not from DT members) and was worried why?

I'm surprised how OP of this thread put the address of mine, don't know the reason, also nobody has notified me about this.

I've been informed on rather short notice that our budget will be cut down, effective immediately.
As a result, our second payment later today will also be our last payment.
I'm sorry about that.

Todays payment have been made (5fc02cf10267af45cb996412a66c81d136f2767fc6303c0fb4c16dc82212808e).
This concludes our signature campaign.

Payment has been received, thank you. It was a good time being here and sorry to hear that the campaign is ended. Until next time. I'm thinking to not remove the signature and the avatar until I join a signature campaign.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halvening! Can I buy Bitcoins at this high price? on: June 29, 2016, 06:23:08 PM
Hey, I am about to get some money and I have already bought Bitcoins at a low price some years ago and I am pretty much not interested in buying right now, but I thought it would be a good idea to open up a honeypot for dem sig spammers, that I can put on my ignore list. Most will not even read until the end, so it does probably not matter if I actually put some content in it or not. I guess I can simply throw some interesting words like "Blockchain", just to pimp it up a little. First I thought I could open up some more topics with the question about what I can do with 1.6 or 2.7 Bitcoins, but I couldn't decide what number to use. I think I should end this one with some interesting stuff, like:
Is Bitcoin really going to die or do we have still time to buy?

Thank you for your time.

We all have still time to buy bitcoin but seems that halving is not affecting the price recently after the huge pump and recent crash, the bitcoin price is staying around $650, we can't say that it is going to die as we don't know what will happen but you can give it a try.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many mining site were closed?Halving is near what happen to the bitcoin? on: June 29, 2016, 05:33:26 PM
who can we trust about mining?do we have any source on how to get bitcoin?

I think that you should not count cloud mining as a good way to earn money because they will close soon. From my experience I have seen many cloud mining that were pretty much active at their beginning but after a period of time they slowly delay the payment, cut the earnings in half or more and the end is scamming their users like most of them did. The best way to earn bitcoin by mining is not cloud mining but mining with your mining rigs.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: June 28, 2016, 03:43:43 PM
Well i am expecting for ethereum and now i am still waiting for ethereum price will crash in 1 usd..
But for now according to  price chart ethereum still fighting and i think they can recover all trust from other people..

I don't think the ETH price will crash to $1 in the near future, at the moment it is $14+ and it is going good in the most popular exchanges, we understand it was a big crash but i don't think that it will drop so much as $1, i think that it is profitable for the miners more than bitcoin sometimes.

I hope it will not go below $1. It depends on the solution of the DAO crisis and how the locked Ethereum are dealt.

$1 is equal to 0.0016BTC and it is really a small amount comparing with the price now at 0.02BTC, not even 10% of the current price. I think that the price will stay 0.015+ for a while because it is going good even though the recent 'hacks'.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if ETH survives? on: June 28, 2016, 02:29:06 PM
I will do nothing!
This case just shows how prone to failure this whole system still is and probably will be in the future due to it's massive complexity. And if you have read the chat logs you realize how centrally controlled  and governed it is.
If Ethereum should survive it's value will be a fraction of what it is now.

For a while I have been stopped trading for a while and was lucky that i didn't invested in ETH when the price started crashing, but now the price has become better but still not safe to invest lots of money there. In case ETH survives then i may invest a bit and then increase the volume time by time.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: June 28, 2016, 08:59:06 AM
Well, no. Halving is not profitable for the miners because their earnings will be cut in half, many miners(those that have old mining rigs) will quit so the difficulty will decrease a bit but we have in market those that have large hash power like s7 s9 and they will continue its job. Halving can be profitable only for the traders, investors because normally the price should be increased a bit but not doubled.

Looking for one to run a mac application 24/7

I don't know what is your total budget for this but I have found a cloud mac service (like windows rdp), you have different plans but since you need 24/7 check the pricing http://www.macincloud.com/
P.S may i know what kind of app is that, i can run it half a day but not 24/7.
278  Other / Meta / Re: 502 bad gateway Error ! What's going on? on: June 27, 2016, 09:20:53 PM
I am getting this error from now every time i open a new topic it give me error 502 bad gateway i need to refresh the page twice or thrice times to open it . Why is this happening ?

It's not the first time that we get the error page of 502 bad gateway, try maybe clearing your browser cache but I think that people are DDOSing the forum, maybe hashocean Tongue?

Are bter and yobit being DDOS'd?

I keep getting an intermittent cloudflare error for both exchanges today. One minute they are online, the next they are offline, then they go back to being online. If it was only one exchange I might assume it was a problem in the exchange, but two being offline at the same time makes me suspect DDOS attacks.

Yobit was being ddosed but it came live again and still is, about bter their site time to time is down, i just logged in there and it is working now, but I'm surprised why do you still use bter when they were hacked last year and still didn't have returned their users's money.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: June 26, 2016, 05:39:18 PM
Time is flying but the price isn't, I'm a bit surprised a bit today when i saw that the bitcoin price has been decreased for -$90 which isn't a small amount. Don't know if is the right moment to sell but things are going bad, the charts now have become all red.

Exactly, but I think you should not sell now, but you should wait for some more time, as majority of users have a feeling that price will again start to rise as we get near to halving.

I think that nobody recommend to sell the bitcoin now, it is not a right moment, neither the price is good [it was better last week(s)], the price today has been dropped for 30 dollars and don't know how long will this go but hope the halving will increase its price.
