261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 13, 2024, 03:53:44 PM
Both.

I stop whenever I win or lose using a threshold amount. For example, I will stop gambling whenever I hit already x2 of my bankroll or when I bust my current bankroll whichever comes first. I’m always playing money that I allocated for gambling which is small.

I believe should start deciding to draw the line before they gambling so that they can control the situation without knowing it because they have no choice than to stop such as using a bankroll that you can afford to lose or too small to even notice.
262  Economy / Gambling / Re: coins.game confiscated 32,800 dollars of my money and blocked the user!!! on: March 13, 2024, 03:49:32 PM
Reading the issue seems valid not because coins.game already have pending existing issue against a forum user but rather cheating on roulette is not possible especially if it’s from a live games, The OP already provided screenshots about his winning bet lightning roulette which is a very good sign that he is genuinely telling the truth about the source of his profit.

Coins.game seems starting to show a dark side by not paying those significant wins. They will find a way to find a small violation to confiscate the users profit. How come a multiple account will is related on how the OP win using roulette games.

Maybe it’s already time to warn forum members for this casino until the issues resolved? It seems like their reps is not available here so there’s nothing to do here to resolve this case using the forum.
263  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 13, 2024, 01:22:54 PM
We have different perspective and way how to support our favorite team. But in the world of gambling we can support our favorite team by betting into casino which means if we like the team and we bet into the casino and the team we bet for is the winner then we will win also and that's a good way of supporting on our favorite team they will win then they will win too. But in reality it's up to us if we gonna support them by watching or we gonna support them by betting still the last decision is ours.
What you are stating makes no sense whatsoever. Betting in favor of your favorite team does not equate to supporting them. Do you think they would gain some sort of advantage if you won/lost money by placing bets on them?

They clearly wouldn't. Gamblers who think like you rarely stay in the profit zone in the world of gambling.

I think they are pertaining to dare form of support. They are risking their money in exchange for believing that their team will win. There are different type of support and not all support should be directly affects the team.

This is how fan base work. They are doing some random dare based on the result of the game of their favorites such as shaving their head, not eating for the day and other crazy things. It’s not really a literal support to the team, I believe you can categorized it as support on their own way.   Wink
264  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: PCSO Discussion thread on: March 13, 2024, 01:17:22 PM

Grin Grin Grin
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 12, 2024, 12:21:44 PM
From what I have gathered, signature campaigns seem to be the most effective on the forum but what are some of the other strategies people have used in order to get their projects off the ground?

Aside from the forum Signature Campaign. The most effective marketing right now is the referral commission using influencers and streamers that will promote the casino. Casino can gain an instant sign up once they landed partnerships with streamers that has a strady follower watching all his streams.

I will use as an example my country Philippines. Most the streamers here that previously promote gaming content is now promoting online casino. There’s a lot of gamblers in my country regardless of financial status. Streamers can easily attract their followers by showing winning big and doing some minor giveaways to anyone who watch the stream or signup using their affiliate code.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot game with increasing RTP on: March 12, 2024, 08:25:52 AM
Sounds interesting. I haven't tried playing the game yet, but I think I have tried similar ones before, where RTP improves as you progress. I'll try to check this out next time when I play slots.

The increased on the RTP is not significant when I check the game info. It just increases 0.1ish percentage per level while the max level total RTP increased is not even greater than 1%.

The only feature that makes this game interesting is the special game when you break the hive because it will give a special bonus round which you can’t get if you didn’t maxed out the level of the hive or the RTP for this game. Push gaming games has a very low RTP yet very volatile when you hit the jackpot.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 12, 2024, 08:21:01 AM
So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

Using those betting site kill the fun of sports betting because you are not playing anymore but just copying someone prediction. The satisfaction on winning using somebody’s analysis is lesser compared when you are the one do analysis and win.

People should bet on sports betting because they really like not because they follow someone prediction without any idea what you are betting with. Also losing your bet using someone’s prediction will cause you more pain since you lose your money without you enjoying the game. Following someone tips will not make you satisfied so it’s better to not bet totally if you don’t trust yourself and just play the regular luck based game such as slot games.
268  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 12, 2024, 05:38:09 AM

Does your “friend” bet on same matches as yours but on opposite side? Because there’s no problem if you both on same matches on same exact pick. But if you’re always have a contradicting bet then this will surely raise a suspicion for arbitrage betting which is not allowed in the casino because you can freely get rakeback and other passive reward such as airdrop and lvl up reward without losing anything.

But at least you should recover your initial deposit unless the other account successfully manage to withdraw the balance which cover your initial deposit. This story of yours about multiple account that involves family, friends and other relatives is the common reason of those players caught doin arbitrage bet and different kind of abuse.

No, my friend never even bet on any same game, he is not even playing on Shuffle anymore. Also myself I did not do arbitrage at all.
All I did was play casino games (what can be wrong about that, it's even dumb to play those games in the long run but I liked it just for fun) and some NBA sports bets. I guess they did not like that I won more than I lost. And therefore they conveniently assume I must be the same person as my friend. To confiscate my winnings is extremely rough and very doubtful act, but to even confiscate my deposit it simply theft.

Multiple account is strictly prohibited and assuming you are correct about the other account is from your friend that is not already using it, is your friend account doesn’t involved in anything shady betting before because there’s a chance that you might be connected on whatever your friend does as long as you already have a connection established on same IP.

Casino will not typically use the multiple account violations if both of you doesn’t do wrong on your account. This case is very hard to justify on the forum because both the casino and you needs to provide documents that will prove both your case. On casino side, they need to reveal connection and the exact reason for the punishment. Only @Ndumm can give you exact answer on your issue.
269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM REPORT | Heisenberg63 on: March 12, 2024, 05:31:18 AM
Adding more info.

My last deal I did had the same LTC address so in spite of Heisenberg63 loosing his phone his wallet access should remain with him.

check my last deal with Heisenberg63 in Feb with LTC address same as he asked me to make payment on Friday and ghosted me after.

screen shot: https://imgur.com/YCNzqjO

The chat just got cleared. I am glad I took screen shots of whatever I could.

I will be surprised that he will use the excuse that scammer use his hack exchange account that login on his “lost phone” that doesn’t have any security pin, pattern or face identity security.

He should start changing all his account password including his telegram info since he does most of his transactions in the forum the moment he lost his phone. This seller that is too irresponsible to secure all his account after losing his phone is worthy not to be trusted on any future deals.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: March 10, 2024, 02:27:17 PM
The massive awareness to keep bitcoins for as long as possible promotes people to develop the attitude of saving, just like saving money. Do you agree with this that people who are very good at saving money become very good at keeping bitcoins when they finally start doing cryptocurrency? Or do you feel that there is no similarity between keeping bitcoins and keeping money?

I think to a large extent, people that are very good at saving fiat could be as good when saving and holding bitcoin. And perhaps the possibility of holding bitcoins for a long period of time could also have an effect on how people could hold and save fiat as well.
And yes, I think the awareness to hold bitcoin for the long run promotes the idea of savings in fiat as well. There’s a similarity as both bitcoins and fiat currency are both valuable and a form of currency as well. Getting the zeal to hold one could also help extend that zeal to hold the other as well.

Totally agree on this. I think it will be more easier for them to save Bitcoin if they are really good on fiat savings since Bitcoin price is consistently growing for long term while fiat money value depreciate due to inflation. Volatility is just least of concern for them if they will just think in long term goal.

What we can buy in the future using same amount of fiat that invest on Bitcoin will be far more better rather than if we just save fiat in the bank and let the bankers use our money in exchange for a penny interest rates.

Fiat sucks in short when you keep it in long term. Even Billionaires save their wealth in stocks and not in fiat.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: March 10, 2024, 01:19:53 PM
Really funny act. How will you accuse someone of such when you never had them in mind if you win the money? If you make a mistake, take responsibility for what you did and own up for your actions. Don’t try to make anyone suffer or pay wrongly when they are entirely innocent. If I had the power as the judge, I’ll make them pay even more time in jail because it could have been an innocent person.

If you read carefully this old news. The mother and son is just using the victim card to recover their gambling losses by pretending that someone hacked their bank account and do the transfer on sports betting site.

The title of this thread is kinda misleading to the real issue that attached on the content because they are not really blaming someone but pretending to become a victim of hack which is not just to get away with the messed they created after losing so much.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 10, 2024, 12:32:20 PM

He is wrong again, and his losses have gotten bigger. I hope it's not a big deal for him since he is making a lot of money through his career, but if he is a compulsive gambler, the time will come when he will be living on the street. What's the reason for publicizing this kind of loss? Is he promoting another gambling site aside from Stake?

He plays like a compulsive gambler if you watch all his gambling stream but we all know that it’s part of his partnership with Stake.com probably including this one that’s why I don’t really convinced that he think about this loss as important to him.

Afaik he is only promoting Stake and he was being paid 38M per year for just promoting Stake probably like this bet. https://blockworks.co/news/crypto-casino-stake-revenue#

Quote
Anyway, regardless, for the majority of us, it's still a huge amount of money, so it's normal that we will buy into this news, and we will feel that he is wasting his money. No one has infinite money, although he has more than $100 million in net worth, but it's not that big compared to his bets, which are close to a million dollars.

Agree especially those users that doesn’t knew Drake partnership with Stake. This news is surely a hit for all the gamblers.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 12:27:20 PM

As a gambler, it doesn't really matter who is Happy or not about your winnings. When we gamble, we spend our own funds and not that of others so weather someone is happy or sad doesn't really matter to me as a person so long you join me to celebrate this winning. It's fine for someone to be jealous about others but wrong when you go behind their backs to gossip about them.

Your only concern by sharing your win is being jealous sometimes results to more envy acts by someone since it’s a human nature to become envy to someone success. Sharing your win will not benefit you while you are just making others feel jealous.

There’s no benefit on doing that so I personally don’t preferred doing it if I don’t have something to gain on doing it. I personally have a bad experience on doing it because I once become subjected to criticism for sharing my gambling win just because I didn’t share profit with them. But just like what you said, it’s not their money so I don’t have any remorse feelings for not sharing it with them.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A personal view on: March 10, 2024, 11:53:28 AM
👉how do you feel when peopel ask you for money to gamble?, do you gamble with debt?

You have answer on the other question somI decided to just answer the last 3 questions that newly added on this thread. First this one.

Of course no one like people asking money for gambling since he should earn it by himself if he want to gamble. I never gamble with debt because I never ask loan for gambling.

👉Do you set rules or limits on how much you stake per week to control your addiction or you are disciplined enough to know when to stop?

I’m disciplined enough to know when to stop because I only use campaign earnings for gambling so I have a very limited bankroll that being addicted is almost impossible now.

Quote
👉behind the mask of loving to gamble if you get rich would you still gamble or never again?

Gambling is a source of entertainment for rich people because it promise a high chance of lose to players. I’m not gambling because I want to get rich so I will still gamble more frequently when I’m rich because I have a lot to spend. Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately this is true, the main problem with P2P is trust. If there is no trust or ESCROW then all your money will be wasted and you will not be able to do anything.

For me, here in my country, we use a reliable Telegram channel for mediation, where the broker  receives the transaction in his wallet and then sends it to the buyer after making sure that he has transferred the amount of money correctly to the seller.

This is the only method that works here and you need to trust the broker in the first place because he is the one who provides the guarantee.

Good for you to find a decent mediator channel to do P2P escrow. It’s very hard to find a solid one that run for long time without any issue because most of this service usually run whenever they deal a huge amount then just restart with different name.

We have this kind of facebook group before which admins act as escrow but later on the group becomes in chaos when the admin run with escrowed money even though his identity is exposed. This is how blatant scammer in my country so I really don’t trust P2P on decentralized way. Even P2P on Binance which user is verified still trying to scam users with fake screenshots, I really doubt that decentralized P2P will really work well in my country.  Cheesy
276  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines SEC will Ban Binance. Effectivity End of Feb. 2024 on: March 09, 2024, 03:13:17 PM

277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 09, 2024, 02:51:14 PM
When I see that the price is flying down steeply, I sell everything and let it fall down. When it stops, then I buy cheap and I have earned...
BTC is going down now, so let it go and buy when it stops. We can all make money from it and then we will again get it up together! Unfortunately, there are always a few "geniuses" who go against the flow and they are buying when they should be selling, and that destroying everyone's earnings...
I'm seriously upset because a couple of such  " smart "  people just ruined my chance to make up loss... I would like to kick them somewhere!

Sounds like someone here left by the moon train of Bitcoin. Your target sell price is not everyone target. We have different speculations on how much will be the price ceiling for Bitcoin price pump so just shut up and wait if you manage to sell early while the price keep pumping since you already ended your chance to earn more.

You can’t force everyone to follow your target price because there will be no trading happening. Think about everyone sell on the same target as yours, do you think that the market will hold for that certain price? Trading is simply just transferring of wealth from people to other people. Not everyone can be in profit on trading so be thankful that there’s still someone buying on time like this to continue the growth of Bitcoin.

279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Restricted games on one casino but playable to other one on: March 09, 2024, 01:59:42 PM
I believe this discrepancy on ToS depends on the license which the casino using since their location varies and it has different set of law. I notice that you use a mirror link of bc.game which probably the reason why you can access the casino including the games that is originally restricted from your country.

@Oshondy suggestion is on point since each casino ToS will govern and they can use it against you in the future once you win huge amount on game provider that restrict you from playing.
