261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Incorporating BTC the way forward for most companies? on: May 06, 2021, 09:00:08 PM
As far as I know, Tesla did a "Liquidity Test". Something like that, Elon somehow mentioned that in one of his tweets before when Tesla sold some amount of Bitcoin, because of liquidity, instead of using cash.
To be frank when Elon Musk said that he was testing the liquidity when news came out they sold the coins what they invested recently and made a huge profit he came out and made another tweet claiming that it was a liquidity test which is another troll.

In terms of Bitcoin profits instead of their company itself, it's really good since that Bitcoin itself is just their investment which included on their balance sheet, so overall, it's good for all companies that got Bitcoin on their balance sheets, just like Microstategy.
It depends upon the company whether they want to diversify their asset to investment. Tesla made the choice to investing in Bitcoin and so does investment firms such as Microstategy but that does not mean that every other company should hold their assets in cryptocurrency.
What i would like to see is that majority of the companies accepting Bitcoin as a mode of transaction and if they are incorporating Bitcoin in that aspect that is the way every company should proceed moving forward as i do not care whether they are holding Bitcoin or not in their balance sheet.

But it doesn't mean other franchise owners are not rich they are also rich as far as I know but since they have no obligation to do it then they won't go for it. And it also not advisable to leave India now which may be a reason for spread in other country so staying here until everything becomes normal is wise which can be affordable I guess.
The franchise and the IPL governing body does have obligations to the players which were present during these situation and why would they want to stay in India far away from family members if they are not having any work and that too living in a bubble that is not even secure. You cannot wash your hand and say that you do not have any obligations, you need to take care of them and make sure they reach home safely rather than asking them to stay here in India.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Binance coin (BNB). on: May 06, 2021, 08:44:58 PM
BNB has a lot of potential because of the way the binance is developing just recently binance is making announcements of NFT which means Binance will always develop however it will be un wise to sell your ETH to buy BNB because ETH is also a very good and have potential just like BNB
I do accept the fact that Binance is trying to own everything and have a say on the market with multiple developments either by purchasing its competition or simply copying other products, like the BSC chain copied directly from ETH, they have Pancakeswap copied from Uniswap and now they will be creating their own NFT and so on which means the price of BNB might grown even higher.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: April 2021 set a new record India. How much effect in Indian economy? on: May 06, 2021, 05:23:19 PM
Despite the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic effecting several parts of the country.
Indian business have once again shown remarkable resilience by not only complying with the return filing requirements but also paying their GST dues in a timely manner during the month.
Hope you are well aware of the present situation when people are dying in the streets and it should be said that almost of the businesses are closed because the pandemic situation and do you think they will be pulling good numbers for the past one and a half years, everyone is suffering and we are in a country where the Prime Minister thinks that other states represents other countries which are against their concept of ideology and they are not doing their work as the ruling party and so is the reason we are seeing these pathetic situation as they never did anything even if they had the time to prepare for the second wave.

Do you think these are not affecting everyone's life including the businesses and the small scale businesses will be suffering the most and there is no vision what so ever on how to help these struggling business owners either.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 06, 2021, 03:50:15 PM
Elon Musk periodically ranks first in terms of wealth on this planet. Therefore, it makes no sense for him to make money on his tweets in cryptocurrency. Most likely, he is just interested in watching how people react to his statements on social networks. This flatters his pride and he does it half-playing, half-joking.
Since his actions generate general interest in cryptocurrency, I take them pretty positively.
Initially everyone thought Elon Musk was trolling the entire cryptocurrency market with his tweets about Dogecoin but when the news of his company invested billions in the Bitcoin market then it is a different aspect as there is no clarity regarding his Dogecoin investment when he was tweeting about it as he clearly knows that his tweets would garner attention and people will invest and if he was doing that to increase his profits then it is a really wrong concept.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: May 06, 2021, 01:20:59 PM
It is now official.

Athletes who will go to the next summer games must and they will be vaccinated (with Pfizer).
The games will starts soon and they will be from the 23th of July till the end of the 1st week of August.
That is a good news that all the athletes will be vaccinated but any updates about allowing audience if they are vaccinated. In the history of Olympics we have games moved due to wars but we have never witnessed an Olympics without audience and there is a possibility that this will be the first Olympics without audience, hopefully we will have some updates regarding this as well.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: May 05, 2021, 11:22:35 PM
As a form of investment, many are buying cryptocurrency in smaller quantities and saving for their kids in the future. With the continuous rising and falling of the currency and the volatility of the market, how do we know the coins to buy and save for future use or is it a waste of money.
Everyone had the opportunity to invest when the price was really low and if anyone invested a couple of thousand dollars last year in any of the top coins in the market they could have made a fortune in the altcoin market especially with the way some of the coins with lower valuation started to rally in recent times. If you are looking for your kids future it is better to open a savings account in bank and have a long term investment rather than in the cryptocurrency market.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 05, 2021, 09:34:13 PM
Yes, the corrupt rulers and politicians are the ones who control the people in Africa and the poor countries. They do not care about the people or their suffering. All that matters to them is to fill their pockets of the corrupt money that they steal from the people, so they make decisions that keep power and money in their hands while the poor people suffer.
Most of the countries are corrupted to the core and the politicians will not change as the greed of making more money is their ultimate motive and hence they keep accumulating millions while the country remains poor.

But despite this, I believe that Bitcoin has given poor people a window of hope to obtain their financial freedom and get rid of the unjust restrictions that the rulers impose on the poor people, despite all the laws that try to ban Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but people can still do so and overcome all these difficulties.
Bitcoin is supposed to help create a market without restrictions but there are many hurdles to overcome to obtain the financial freedom they want including free trade and commerce globally and if a country bans the use then it is hard for them to use bitcoin in trade and commerce and it will be used just as an speculative asset.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price of Dodgecoin since 2020 in 34 secs on: May 05, 2021, 08:21:39 PM
Who would ever thought that Dogecoin would pump crazily like it has today? that's seriously a lot of percentage that has brought it to itself.

Elon and other pumpers, the popular people who have been investing on Dogecoin and telling that it's a big thing which everyone shouldn't miss.
It turns out that Dogecoin is the best investment coin during the rally, no one expected it to outperform and even surprise the Dogecoin developers and they needed to upgrade the platform because the number of users and transactions per day started to increase and we can very well say that Elon Musk with his troll tweets started this uprising and it turns out to be a million dollar troll as anyone invested in Doge made a huge fortune.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Hates BTC: "Forget Bitcoin: Here are The Crypto Assets To Follow" on: May 05, 2021, 06:32:33 PM
Ugly move from Yahoo: "Bitcoin is to the crypto market what Netscape was to search engines in the early days of the Internet. There’s a need for a better solution, and the market is responding."
Netscape was more popular as a browser to me than a search engine and what they are telling is that there will be an alternative that would take over Bitcoin and anything is possible in this market if someone is able to come out with a better solution than what we have in Bitcoin then it is possible that coin could take over Bitcoin in terms of adoption, till now we have not seen anything that shows that there will be a major shift anytime soon.

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is May 8 the Dogecoin bubble burst date? on: May 05, 2021, 05:39:07 PM
Elon Musk shows on SNL on May 8, Dogecoin reaches $1 and then the bubble bursts! I hope it reaches $1 so I can buy more BTC with it to round up my BTC holdings Cheesy
I have no idea what is going on with Dogecoin as the price keeps on rallying and it looks like the market is dominated by the rally from Doge and ETH but later on BCH and other coins joined the rally and finally Bitcoin. Even now i cannot imagine the price of Dogecoin going to a dollar but considering all these pumps which i never thought would happen i wont be surprised if it moves up further from this valuation.

Easier said than done though. It usually takes years to get competent at any form of Jiu Jitsu simply because of muscle memory. You can actually learn the moves very quickly, but it all changes when your put in a competitive environment, and that's without taking into consideration that you have to defend from punches, and could be buzzed by a punch too.
Kevin Holland will not be an expert in wrestling but he can learn the basic defense techniques and positions and BJJ is the easiest to learn and then if he take some time to drill he can get out of certain positions. The fighters he fought were not elite level wrestlers but they were able to get him down so he needs to seriously fix certain areas.

He does need to fix it, as its going to be exploited a lot of often now that its been highlighted twice. Although, maybe Holland cherrypicks his opponents from now on. I can't see it, at least one positive with Holland is he seems like he'll fight anyone they put in front of him.
He is trying to be the present day Donald Cerrone and he will be a gate keeper rather than a champion and if he plans on doing that then it is fine and in the UFC it is hard to cherry pick fights unless you have a huge fan following.

~
There was a situation a couple of years ago where we had a severe epidemic of the injury bug Smiley It was the second half of the year and fighters were getting injured left and right, you could almost bet that someone on the main card would bail due to an injury. Actually, now that I checked it seems that the most injuries were around 2013 and 2014. Considering everything, we actually have a slighter injury rate now.
After the construction of UFC Performance Institute things are improving as they are taking care of injured fighters and they get these treatment for free and it made a huge difference unless it is some serious injury that needs surgery.

Considering all things happens in recent month it was obvious that they were trying hard for the WC as any world event is good for the economy, one of the major reason they hosted IPL in India as test, which failed royally.
After failing royally in conducted the IPL successfully there are discussions about shifting the T20 World Cup to UAE, the BCCI has to take that decision and it is difficult to predict what the situation would be a few months from now but still they can move the T20 World Cup to UAE and hopefully conduct them successfully. I hope the government will be more cautious from now on after seeing the lapses due to complacent decisions by the central government and hope they will not repeat that again.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge Success Force Bitcoin to Improve on: May 05, 2021, 10:09:28 AM
Doge is having outstanding success in Price and utility usage increases.
Some believe this is due to the facts
Doge has Greater Onchain Transaction Capacity than Bitcoin
Transferring the same $100 fiat value in Doge & Bitcoin
Doge only ~50 cents
Bitcoin costs ~ $23
If you follow the market and the top coin development you will understand that even the Dogecoin developers were shocked about the price rally and they rushed to implement the upgrades when the price started to rally and the network started to show slowdown. So do not claim about the onchain capacity of Doge Tongue.

Blockspeed
Doge   1 Minute
BTC   10 Minutes
If you think that lower the block speed will improve the speed of transaction then think about what happened to ETH as the block speed is a few seconds and yet you need to spend huge amount of money for transaction.

Should we all just bite the bullet and recognize that bitcoin use as a digital currency is dead,
and it only has investment value verses fiat, but too expensive for the normal guy to transact onchain.
If you are not urgent in making a transaction then you can still process the transaction at lower fees and you will get it confirmed within a day.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 03:47:59 AM
Yeah, Bitcoin will be fully accepted across the world, some countries might not ready to accept Bitcoin but eventually, their mind will change as every country accept it, to put it simply it is just a matter of time they could impose some regulations, of course, like imposing a tax or something.
You are bound to pay your taxes for the money you earn through cryptocurrency and there is way around that unless you are making direct cash deals which is highly risky and regulating the market means the exchanges that are run should be regulated and monitored so that they are held responsible for their actions and we wont hear about exchange owners running away with the money.

They hate crypto because they cannot able to control but I do believe that some of them even use it for their personal gains cause we know how much really it can provide. Besides even if they impose a ban on it there will be still some ways to access it that is why crypto adaptation is inevitable.
A government can regulate the market and it is possible for them to monitor the exchanges running in their country and since all of the exchanges have mandatory KYC it is impossible to hide behind a change address. What i am trying to tell is that basically if a government wants they can control the market up to an extend especially for the transaction taking place in their jurisdiction.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Munger hating on bitcoin on: May 04, 2021, 08:34:14 PM
Charlie Munger's disdain for bitcoin demonstrates that boomers are feeling challenged because they became complacent and missed out on the next big thing.
Three more years and he will reach 100 years old and if anyone is taking his words seriously then there is nothing much to say. I do understand that his brain is not allowing him to understand the new technology and if he cannot find his conventional investment patterns they will find it hard to understand and they will vouch that it will fail and because bitcoin is a new technology and it is not what they knew as an investment potential asset throughout the years they are against it.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 04, 2021, 07:21:19 PM
I will not do that because for bitcoin is the best investment ever. Don't spend bitcoin at all also bad decision, it is not good the economy and ourselves. I spend some of my bitcoin to fulfill my necessities but most of my bitcoin investment fund are still in my wallet and exchange site.
The price when you invested is a major factor, you cannot invest at this price and expect it to be the best investment ever. I cannot understand your argument about the economic issues you create if you are not spending Bitcoin. One advice i would give you is that if you are planning to keep your coins in exchange wallets it is better to sell everything and enjoy life rather than expecting your coins will be taken care by the exchange.
Do not make the mistake of holding the coins in exchanges, we have endless bad experience and why to stretch your luck as well.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 04, 2021, 05:56:42 PM
penalty for chickening 😁   and the penalty fee goes to the one who respond as replacement.  so you can expect kevin holland in every weekend.

although i dont think nate diaz will really back away a fight. weve see how tough he is so this must be a serious injury.
They are preparing for a fight and injuries are a part of this competition and so is the reason it is called the hurt business and you cannot go around fighters for getting injured during practice sessions. Nate Diaz is also not getting younger and if he is injured he knows that the recovery takes time and when you are young you could get cured easily but that is not the situation when you cross a certain age.

Kevin Holland needs to fix his ground skills before competing again and he really needs some rest.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 04, 2021, 05:07:56 PM
I guess they will need to wait untill the restriction has been removed. BCCI made it tricky, when they knew that the situation in India and especially in Maharashtra is so bad they should have stopped IPL for the time being and should have rescheduled it later. Strict action should be taken against those responsible.
That is how confidence looks like, when you have a second wave and people dying around you, you need to be confident that nothing will happen unless anything serious happens and now they knew that they cannot handle the situation when multiple people from different teams started to get infected and rather than delaying things they paused the series indefinitely when they should have done a few weeks earlier.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 04, 2021, 03:55:04 PM
I know we already heard the rumor if Alibaba has bought $20billion in bitcoin. They will publish their unaudited Q1 2021 report on this May 13th,
We heard the same news about Facebook and later came to know that it was just rumors. Alibaba is a Chinese company and hope you have heard about the disappearance of Jack Ma from the public space and there were rumors that the Chinese government has kept him prisoner and it was not a secret that his company was facing many regulatory issues by the government and if you think that they will be investing billions in Bitcoin then you must be joking without knowing the ground reality Tongue.
