Any Eta for Pizpie video on how to setup an Xmixer with firewall settings forwarding ports etc? I think is really needed.

And kudos for the Xchat one Smiley

You mean router side? That could be problematic as every other router is different.

What does it mean when coins are minting? Does that mean you are staking them?

Why does the reward time keep changing?
Do I need to have my computer on in order for them to mint?

Yes you are staking coins. The reward will change every time depending on your luck but will always total 3.333% per year. Your computers needs to be on and unlocked for staking.
Does it also need to be on in order for them to mint?

Once you stake an amount and receive a reward, they will be verified by the network.

9k.... ill put it up later im waiting on Alibabas IPO Grin Itll be at 161

What time will that be? I'm heading out for the rest of the evening in about an hour.

Where can you buy shares of Alibaba? Just out of curiosity.

You can't. You're buying shares of an offshore company that has rights to Alibaba's profit.

just a question ... I was wondering if xcurrency's decentralised network would work for, or be able to handel say a torrent distributation network. so that users wouldnt have to worry about there ip getting given out by some service providers. it could be a anon and decentralised system and could generate min service fees through xnodes for downloads... also could have rewards in xc for sharing files. might get alot of revenu for thoes running xnodes. this is just a thought i had. feel free to expand on idea or bash it. just curious.

Good Idea, I think XC's goal is too decentralize the whole internet.

I'll just leave this here:

My handwriting doesn't have spell-check, but I hope you can forgive any few errors.

This is my attempt at explaining XCurrency simply:

That's great, we should get this to a 'digital stage' any takers?

As our mascot, He will have to do something constructive with any donations he makes I recon, or he should be replaced with a new mascot.  Grin

He isn't my mascot.  Don't try to speak for the entire community.

Im just messing around. I find him funny is all. his pic does say official unofficial mascot. not like when we hit mainstream were gonna have a fucking goat standing ontop of the XC logo haha!

I find him anything but funny.

we noticed that laredo Smiley

Good.  You encourage, I'll discourage.
It is your opinion and here in the XC thread we value everybody's opinion.

That's the spirit...

Ahh what the hell, I'll allow it but we would obviously prefer if you donated to the PR or DEFUND FUND.

Especially since it looks like the vast majority of what has been sent to that addy has then been sent to mintpal.  Why donate to someone when all they are going to do is turn around and sell it?

PR fund or Defud fund is a much better option.

Well its up to the individual but I do agree with your point. Its also why I'm not saying he's an offical mascot and if this gets out of hands i.e spammed on every page or so, we will have to take action.

Hold on, I never said he's the official masscot. Tell you what though, I think mt. goat should save those donations until we can afford to buy a sports team and then we can have him as the official masscot. Wink

Have everything setup as per above, how can I see that its running as an xmixer?? wallet looks just the same as before :S

you cannot see it in the UI for the moment you will know that it is working when you will start to mix transactions.

It will look like this:

Yes currently its not in the UI so you just have to wait for the transactions to start coming in.

hej guys....why is the price moving upwards?

Idk, maybe theres actually some sense into some people.... BUY as much as you can early adopters..... if 10% of this is delivered, it's bitcoin all over again, and we will quote ourselves 2 years from now with a big smile on our face.

Sense and crypto markets? Yeah right.

I love to sit on a big bag of XC  Grin

Physical coins aren't available yet so that could be hard Wink You could fill it with 1xc paper wallets though.

A suggestion for future XC features that you might have fun spreading:

https://twitter.com/XCurrency/status/511525713082847232

That tweet... today is gonna be big.

Yeah having a bot at some point makes sense.

On the other hand, I can reliably inform you that the "coinjoin killer" we're releasing today is an order of magnitude more significant.

Where's the introduction for the new XC team member?  Grin

Hahah you're trying to hard now.

Remember supply and demand people. Hold your coins and the price will go up!

wrong

Looks like we have another rule:

13) Elaborate your point especially when disagreeing

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Official] Cryptsy News ** LSD/BTC, BNCR/BTC markets added** on: September 13, 2014, 08:50:31 PM
Can you please update the name of XC from X11Coin to XCurrency?

It's a top 15 coin by market cap.

Fixed.

Thanks.

Also the MultiPool could use some X11 Hash power,

currently paying out 0.00018086 BTC/day per Mh/s for X11

and

currently paying out 0.00049250 BTC/day per Mh/s for scrypt

Dan

On it.

Is the current payout for XC with SHA256 accurate?

-Nick-

It is BTC/day per Gh/s

So the 4BTC per TH per day is accurate? Thats roughly $2,000 a day. If thats the case then Ill purchase 3TH and throw it at the pool.

-Nick-

That's incorrect.

Current payout per gh is 0.00001946

Sorry for the inconvenience.
