2621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: May 24, 2021, 11:16:12 PM
Well, it depends on the situation and who you be lending with. If it is a life or death situation of a friend or family, I could give consideration and remove some of my capital/profit to lend out. I know it can affect the way I trade but I do trading for my life and the people around me. But If the loan reason is for another way of making money like trading, investing or gambling, I personally wouldn't let that pass. It somehow limits the things you need to do when your funds were insufficient.
2622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 24, 2021, 10:27:41 PM
The current dip that happened was what must people don't really expect, must people don't really expect dump from bitcoin so when the dump happened it affected must people expecially people doing futures where liquidated because must people don't really use stop lose when there are trading. Some people panicked and sold all there coins which is very bad most expecially newbies people that are just getting to start investing or trading cryptocurrency because must of them have not had this kind of experience. before but if you have been long in Cryptocurrency I believe this is just normal and you don't have to panic to sell your coin but must people that it affected are the newbies and people that are involve in futures.
I think most of the newbies or new to trading are the ones who don't use stop loss, sold at the bottom and frustrated because of the crash. Experience could greatly help you in every market situation, Those who did the same on the 2018 market crash surely didn't do the same this year. If you got rekt because of these mistakes, I hope you do learn and put pre-caution on every trade you are doing so you can avoid getting rekt.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 24, 2021, 09:30:10 PM
KYC is a much-needed component in gambling sites nowadays. If you can't even offer such services as a gambling firm, you can't expect patrons and gamblers alike to trust you with their money. So of course it would be okay for me to follwo KYC regulations in order to give security and peace of mind as well that the gambling site I put my money on is not a bogus or scam.
Disagree, KYC is not there to protect you , KYC is there to protect the casino of you or anything that you do that could go against their interests, also since we know there are many scams casinos out there especially those that do not bother to come to this forum to open an ANN thread it is fair to wonder if you should give your personal information to them as you run the risk of being victimized twice, the first time when they steal your money and the second time when they sell your personal information on the dark web.
That right. For me, KYC is a double-edged sword for gamblers. The risk of stealing your personal information is high when a data breach happens in a casino but the advantage of submitting KYC is if your account is hacked or stolen, You can recover easily it by simply appealing and submitting the recovery procedure with KYC. Though I still wouldn't risk my personal information just to allowed or to access a casino.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 24, 2021, 08:56:43 PM

it's more on bankroll management and how you'll able to manage you emotions during the game.

I agree with this, it's hard to implement a martingale with a small bankroll if you can get an allocation of up to 12 losses in the roll you will have a good chance but it's not a guaranty that you can win I have set up 12 bets my bankroll was wiped out although I enjoy my session because it lasted almost an hour, if you want to have fun, martingale is a good method to implement because sometimes the session lasted for hours.
When it comes to gambling, it is all about luck. If we're lucky even with small bank roll we can be successful profiting big. Same time if the luck isn't on our side even with big bank roll we can end up losing big. In simple there are people who have lost big trying the martingale strategy with big bankrolls and ending up bankrupt.

In my opinion it is good to go with random moves than martingale strategy.

No doubts that you said it right, far better to play randomly than using this strategy that most of those users ended up losing a  lot.

Find some luck with your own ways, whatever game you are into, either sports or casino based gambling, trying to use your own understanding with the game and hope that luck is behind you will give you a much interesting outcome.

When you lose, take the entertainment as a cause while when you win, enjoy your profits of success.
Depending on the situation. If I am confident with the bank roll I am having, I would probably use martingale than betting random moves  Tongue Of course, luck is a big factor in playing gambling, But using strategy gives me a bit of assurance or confidence to push through a bet rather than playing on random bets.
2625  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: May 23, 2021, 11:56:35 PM

At sa axie kasi may sariling app (android and desktop).

Sabi nga niyan, opportunity is something that you see which is not yet obvious. lols  Grin ano daw?

If may puhunan ka naman, Mas better own team para atleast walang pressure sayo sa everyday quota and lahat ng gain mo for that day is sayo lahat.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE VERY TRAGIC MOMENT IN FUTURES TRADE HAPPEN AGAIN. on: May 23, 2021, 11:26:43 PM
Oh yes, Too many traders were being liquidated lately because of bitcoins big movements. Even if you're on altcoin, You will be affected if bitcoins crash. Those who experienced the 2017 crash will feel nostalgia for sure and as of now, I can tell that most of them left their position or put their money into stable coins for now to avoid the expected market cycle.

If ever 2021 crash victims experienced a bull run again, I hope they know that it will happen again and they should be ready.
2627  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pi Coin: for Future or another scam? on: May 20, 2021, 08:00:10 PM
Hello!

2628  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin correction thread. on: May 20, 2021, 07:16:36 PM
Ganun talaga especially if hindi binabantayan ang market, Mostly mababalitaan nalang nila ang market crash and mag papanic kasi on loss sila. Newbies are still newbies, Sila yung kadalasan madali mabiktima ng FUD and FOMO kahit sa sobrang gasgas na FUD line. I hope na alam ng newbies ang market cycle na every bull run is may kaabat na correction and hindi pwede bull run lang all the time.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be Prepared for the big dump. on: May 20, 2021, 05:29:24 PM
Avoid trading futures for now. too risky because you can lose money quickly. For bigger dumps, bitcoin is likely to drop at $ 25,000 and I think buying altcoins incrementally for now in case of a trapping again is a good move. Currently there are many negative sentiments towards bitcoin and it should be used as a reference to be more careful in investing. many people complained about yesterday's decline
Even experienced traders don't recommend futures trading. Anything can happen on bitcoin right now. There are so many speculations about the market right now but most speculation is against bitcoin. If you're into futures trading, I recommend doing your own research and TA because the speculations today is very confusing to follow.
2630  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: May 20, 2021, 04:57:33 PM
Following big people's influence isn't that bad but believing in everything they said without verifying on your own is a stupid move. I personally follow Elon Musk but I don't follow his FUD and FOMO tweets. In the past few months, We can see that Elon can easily manipulate the market because of his tweets. Well we can see that Elon is a double edge sword for a crypto user depending on how smart you follow these influencers.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 20, 2021, 01:03:19 PM
...

I think it's not only Covid 19 that is driving online gambling to become more and more popular...

Online gambling is increasingly popular because it really makes it easier for us, we can do anything and be anywhere while gambling only with a smartphone or laptop. online gambling will continue to grow.

I disagree.

COVID-19 is the one who boost it up, because people have no choice but to stay at home to obey health protocols and to make sure they are safe from the virus, that is why they adapted online gambling, for example is Online Sabong here in our country where they would conduct s live cock fighting and people will put bet on whichever cock they like. Mode of payment is via GCASH (an online wallet) if I'm not mistaken.
I have the same thoughts. There are also new gamblers during this pandemic who just got really bored because of lockdowns and quarantines that just want to have entertainment. Online Live cockfighting really got its trend during the pandemic and even now, more and more players where keep playing it because people love how easily it works.

It's not just the new gamblers who were born during the pandemic but there are also many new casinos and gambling platforms that were made.
2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is heartbreaking on: May 20, 2021, 12:26:01 PM
There are so many newly created "meme coin" in the market right now that serves no real purpose. Most of this project is just a pump and dump scheme where investors who bought first will only take a big profit. We can't blame investors for investing on these projects, They are only investing for quick profits and I know they know the great risk of investing in this kind of project. If you don't know how to play their game, You will be burned by them  Wink
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A common enemy in the crypto world--Elon Musk! on: May 19, 2021, 05:17:15 PM
It's a usual thing in crypto that any news will affect the price of cryptocurrency, elon is the center of the news right now, many people are following his tweets and everytime he tweeted market will move a second after his tweets.
Yeah many people hated him right now because of big losses caused by his statement, but also there are many people already become millionaire thanked to him. So it depends on the people, with a smart strategy and a big luck, this kind of condition will make profits
True, If a trader wants to become a millionaire because of him, You need to follow him smartly and take advantage of his tweets and put up a good strategy. Correction from the market is very expected and feeling if it is near is a trader's job. It's just Elon Musk accumulated a lot of crypto fans because of his recent tweets and now they are haters because the market gets a correction.

In our current situation right now, This is what I feel from the last correction in 2018. Many people have lost their profit from the bull run and the only thing people have today is that they blame Elon for this market crash.
2634  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pi Coin: for Future or another scam? on: May 19, 2021, 04:36:42 PM
Read this PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!]

Naging interesado din ako one time sa project nato and hindi ko na tinuloy yung pag gamit ko or pag mine ko kasi I can't see a good future in it. Even though may mga merchant na nag aaccept ng kanilang token but I think it's only their promotion lang.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: May 19, 2021, 12:32:44 PM
Religious conservatives have a lot of political power, disproportionate to their actual population size. We always see them pushing these negative narratives around things which they find morally unacceptable. We rarely see people who are willing to counter against them so the moral crusaders end up getting their way more often than not.
The religious conservatives will against gambling games because that is related to the forbidden thing in their religion. They can force the political people who have the power to prohibit gambling games. But the most reason why gambling games are prohibited is that playing gambling can make people addicted to gambling, people will lose their money if they can not control it, and people can ruin their lives.
Religion is one of the major groups that oppose gambling as far as I know. We can't blame them because it is their religion but if they employed it into their whole country, Other religions will be affected since the law will be the one who will stop them from playing. Most vices have the possibility to make you addicted to them, Gambling is one of those vices. Self-control and Limitation is the best way to make yourself not addicted to it. It will only be dangerous if you can't control yourself from it.
2636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons for bad trading on: May 18, 2021, 11:50:49 PM
Greed and emotions are two things a trader should learn how to control to be able to make the right decisions at  the right time, no doubt all this point you mentioned are the reasons for bad trading, for a trader to be successful he needs to learn how to set goals in crypto and works towards them, always try to check on updates about the crypto market because it really helps a lot, being informed and knowledgeable helps you to make good decisions for your self, and also try not to be greedy, if you must have hits about 50% profit on a trade and still not satisfied, it's better to take out capital and let the profit flow till any point you are satisfied.
Emotions and greed are human traits that cannot be avoided. Everyone has it but with different limitations. what becomes very important is how to regulate emotions properly so as not to be too greedy to take advantage. The main goal or strategy must be set in order to achieve what has been planned. learning trading discipline is very important.

It is better to make a small profit often than to bet your money on an undetermined threshold. Because some of the predictions that will be made will not be accurate. securing better capital.
True, I believe that greed is human nature and we can't completely remove it. Setting up limitations will significantly reduce it to the extent that we can't call it greed. Recently I've been contented on any profit that I can get from my trades on this past few weeks, I don't exceed more than the target profit I set up on my trade to avoid losing because of greed. You will never lose trade if you profit from it, so profit is always a profit.
2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: May 18, 2021, 11:21:44 PM
Energy consumption becomes an issue to creat FUD but seriously, the consumption is huge but I can’t imagine how much energy and raw materials do you need to print fiat money? I guess this should not be the real issue here. I don’t panic on that kind of news, i just focus buying a cheaper good coins because I know they’ll rise again.
Famous people can easily create FUD and by giving the "Energy consumption trap card" to people and giving FOMO on those cryptos who are more "greenier" than the other one. Energy consumption is getting bigger and bigger over the past few years because almost everything now relies on energy and adding new technologies such as electric cars will make the consumption go higher. Since the born of bitcoin, Energy is required for it to be operated so why do people use their energy trap card now when they can use it before. It's just for FUD I guess.
2638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: May 18, 2021, 10:29:25 PM
You get the lesson a bit rough. I can feel the devastation that you experience because I've been in the same spot before. The most painful loss I got is when I trade just using my guts, No Technical analysis, no research, no everything. I know that you can rebuild your bankroll again because you have been doing it for the past 6 months, just don't make the wrong decision that you made before.

I'm sure there are many stories like this today after so many liquidations happened. I just hope that your not the type of broke people that has literally zero money or the type of broke that affects you badly in real life.
2639  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: May 18, 2021, 09:54:02 PM
I'm having trouble opening a game from the Hacksaw Gaming provider I've even tried changing some IP but it still doesn't work blank screen display
please tell me did you guys go through the same thing? This is not just one game, it happens to all Hacksaw Gaming games.
Have you ever played on some game that the hacksaw gaming provider offers before? or it is just now? Maybe hacksaw games have been restricted in your region. Changing IP is not recommended in this type of casino, They can use it as a reason for you when a problem happened. I recommend just try playing on those game providers that are available in your country.
2640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much can you predict this sh*t?! Or is it pure gamble? on: May 18, 2021, 09:24:30 PM
From 50/50 (it could swing either way and you can have zero knowledge on which way it'll swing), to %1-100 being able to know before hand, how much can you know?

What causes prices to go up? What causes them to go down? Obviously, no one knows for certain when it would happened, but has there been a consistent "pattern" lately? When prices have gone down, have you known to a reasonable degree than they would bounce back up? How?
There's no such patter because this market doesnt really react on technicals on precise manner so its really hard to tell.
Reasons for rise?
1. Adoption/Recognition
2. Hype/Shill
3. Unknown factor(Increase by its own)

Reason for dumps?
1. FUD
2. Hacking incidents
3. Profit taking
4. Again, no actual reason
There is always a pattern in the crypto market, I believe that technical analysis is a strong way that traders could rely on. Support/Resistance,  Historical Data, Market patterns, and other factors matters that can help people raise their winning chance in trading. Those reasons for pump and dump that you provided were justifiable but if the market doesn't react on technicals, why would traders study hard learning all about charts?
