2641  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: October 25, 2019, 10:21:50 AM
Do you think that banks, governments and investment companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and other will try to replace the decentralised coins and try to lure their clients to invest into their own private blockchains? What can be done to prevent that?
Whether private companies do it or not, they will just waste their time making another alternative private coins, because seeing how the present and existing altcoins are doing right now in the crypto space, despite of the exposure and all, bitcoin still has the place of being the King of Crypto and leading the trend.  There's no way that the supposedly made coins by government, banks and private companies will be able to dethrone bitcoin for investors aren't that dumb to completely dump bitcoin over private altcoin.
2642  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: October 24, 2019, 11:44:46 PM
According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?
I think you're reading too much conspiracies. There's no way the government will make something in contrast to their power. There are even countries that have bitcoin and altcoins banned and blocked. We all know that the government that aren't supporting cryptocurrency  hates the idea of it because it is a decentralized currency and they can't touch it anynways and manipulate it. Also, if ever they really are the one who made bitcoin, they would've predicted and see it before hand that this could risk banks and fiat's situation in a bad situation and threat of being eliminated.
2643  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency value and Economy debt on: October 24, 2019, 11:21:05 PM
I think after economy  boom and the end of huge debt wich will be never repayed there will be Economy slow down and fiat currency Will have huge value!!
During the boom assets Prices going up... So More money Will Go the asset owners Once boom is over the most of the money Will be hands of the rich... Everybody Will be debted... Simply everybody is looking for money but simply there Will be significant smaller ammount of the money.

So in my opinion Bitcoin Can Go up like 100k to 500k.  Even 1 milj.... But at the end it will crash.
And after crash the fiat currency Will have biggest purache power.  Crypto Will be zero.

The point is that  debt and quantive easing will Give at the End More value to fiat currency!

So those who talking about fiat currency devaluatiion or so You are all wrong.
No one could predict it correctly but there are possibilities that you're assumptions could make sense but surely not guaranteed at all. Let's say that you're upbringings about bicoin's price will really take place and will reach 100k usd to 1 million, once people knew about it, they will surely do a  massive patronage of bitcoin because of its price then drive bitcoin's price even more higher, if that's the case, I don't think it will still fall for there are lots of users  and they will be the one feeding the movement.
2644  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 24, 2019, 11:02:05 PM
Is KYC is benefit to crypto people or not. what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing KYC.

Universal money and Anonymous is the biggest strength of btc BTC, now every country follows KYC and then it can be controlled by someone.

Now KYC is trend in crypto market..... Cheesy
Bitcoin, or the whole cryptocurrency was known because of the anonymity of the transactions due to the blockchain technology's service. KYC is really highly beneficial when it comes to the legitimacy, safety, and the assurance that you are doing your transactions with highest legality. KYC prevents scammers from joining the investment you're into because they will be needing to provide personal informations. What I can see as something disadvantageous about KYC is your privacy will be compromised because of the infos you need to provide.
2645  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Quantum Computing News Utilized to Manipulate Markets and Crash BTC on: October 24, 2019, 10:51:54 PM
There is no way to verify it. We can only connect the dots, but it's possible that those connections never exist at all.

Just because Y happened after X, does not mean X cause Y to happen.
There's not single assurance that the news about Google already achieving Quantum Supremacy drove and manipulated markets, there's no way to know or trace the real reason that have caused it. It could be caused by how the people are doing inside the space, but I don't think that freshly reported news already had that effect in the market for the markets movement has been moving unpredictably just before this news.
2646  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: October 24, 2019, 05:33:56 PM
To your question on the new world order, I see that bitcoin will be adapted soon because of the use case of blockchain. Blockchain will be a top priority since the world is going to be more technologically driven. Blockchain will definitely not be left out as it is already being used at the moment.
There's really no question with blockchain being overhyped and trendy at this age of computing because of the technology it has and can provide to the society. I don't think this one world order is possible for there will be much misconceptions and problem upon implementation, there are reasons why the world's governments are separated and I don't think there's a need to change it because if the only concern was to build a Connection and good relations to each countries, there are already alliances of countries
2647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum supremacy. Is your trade (coins) Quantum resistant? on: October 24, 2019, 04:48:13 PM
Google had already claimed a break through to this quantum computers.  Its been in the played over and over on Vermont public radio for sometimes now and it looks like they really meant to make this information go viral for a purpose of spreading panic to cryptocurrency holders. If Quantum computer can really beat mathematical problems faster than Asics devices and perhaps can kill BTC in the end, may we be seeing the Quantum proof project to arise?

We must not worry about it since I believe its still in early phase of development and maybe it will  take decades before a fully operational quantum computer will be commercially manufactured and be publicly available but if that happens, I guess "we will cross the bridge when we get there!" Smiley
This news has been around the forum for a long time and all have been claiming that quantum computing is the very thing that could break the encryption of blockchain technology, but despite the existence of quantum computing and all the claims and fuz, nothing has been done. In fact, It's not quantum computing's technology and ability that we have to be afraid of, it's who's hand will the technology and its powerful transaction will end up. As long as it's use is for intensive research and study, we don't have to worry about anything for it wasn't intended to destroy bitcoin.
2648  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: October 24, 2019, 04:24:24 PM
Neither bitcoin nor paper money has any real value, but notes have national credit support, and what if bitcoin also gets national credit? The government will lose its macro-control policy but it can also effectively eliminate inflation, two relative ratios. Is that a good result? Of course, I know that the government is very unlikely to support bitcoin, but who knows?
Just thinking how good bitcoin is doing right now that not all government is supporting using it makes me think how great could the market could be. Bitcoin is already doing well without receiving full support from the government that all have ever wanted was to manipulate and take control over it. Now, if the government already gave its support, bitcoin will now be able to surpass and get rid of its downside when it comes to the poor and slow adaption of it for the government has been one of the factors why the massive adaption of bitcoin or the whole cryptocurrency id being suppressed.
2649  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: October 24, 2019, 04:05:27 PM
After a year, a lot of lessons that we did learn. There are 2 precious things that I think I should remember:

+ Fear
+ Greed

I learned that from my teacher, he said when you buy Bitcoin at 10k, it's then $12k your greed rises inside you and you don't want to take profit and expect more. Then, the downtrend is coming, BTC goes down to $8k, you'll be scared to cut loss, and what'll happen, you lose more while BTC drops to $4k.

So, we need to set up your expected profit point as well as the stoploss point.

How about you, what is your lesson?
What I learned and has been the biggest lesson I've learned here in the crypto market is, never get too emotional while doing your job or business here. Getting too emotional while in the midst of the rollercoaster movement of the market cap will surely screw you and will mess up your rationality, leading you too make impulsive decisions. Since then, until now I had that lesson with me, to never let your feelings and emotions get in the way, not only in crypto space but also in every aspect of life.
2650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Serious Bitcoin Security Warning!!! on: October 24, 2019, 02:21:27 PM
Here's another privacy issue and extra-carefulness is always needed!
There are a lot of people who use QR codes to share different data (also to share bitcoin or other cryptos) from their smartphones and the article below states the risks of using QR codes.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/09/12/researchers-have-issued-a-serious-bitcoin-qr-code-warning/#3254ef2c6d12
QR codes has been giving people the very convenience people had been looking for, Imaging making transactions just by scanning a code. But this QR codes are also prone to counterfeiting and manipulations especially if handed to the wrong hands. So for people to avoid being victimized by QR code scams, make sure to only use QRs that are from a trusted source and are not from anywhere around the internet. No one is to be blame if you've got yourself into scams for you are the one who decides what will you let to happen.
2651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum Computing Threat to BTC... Correct me if I'm wrong on: October 24, 2019, 12:55:53 PM
Quantum computer is expected to have the capability to break a 256 bit encryption within seconds. However, it has not yet become a reality, only a certain degree of it have been achieved!

Now, I would agree to the point you are trying to establish! Having an weapon doesn't always mean it will be misfired and used against the humanity! So even if the quantum computer is built so capable enough to break the encryption of bitcoin network, it is least likely to be used for this purpose!
Although it was expected to crash bitcoin's privacy and security, Until now, not a single move was done against bitcoin, IBM's latest quantum computers are just about to be launched around October and it was said that this isn't the fastest computer  that will ever be made. The fastest qunatum computer that is existing so far is the one that Google has developed and is said that has the quantum supremacy. despite of it's existence, not a singke damage has been done so there's nothing to be worried about.
2652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: October 23, 2019, 05:53:06 PM
I am just curious to know if you can buy lottery tickets for your own national lottery in your country. I am not referring to all these scam gambling sites with supposed "Provably Fair" lottery systems.

I bought some lottery tickets online and I was only presented with the old traditional payment options and I figured it is time for us to approach these Lottery operators, to ask for a Bitcoin payment option.  Wink

If enough people ask for this, they just might consider giving us that option to pay with bitcoins.  Grin  What payment options do you have for online lottery in your country?
Our country is very accepting and is allowing us to use bitcoin m, in fact there small businesses like tech shops that has bitcoin as one of their payment option. We also have a big and well known online shop that also uses and accepts bitcoin as payment, but our national lottery doesn't support any option that involves bitcoin, not in a way that they are supressing players to use it, but its just that the idea hasn't been implemented yet depsite of the freedom to use bitcoin.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: October 23, 2019, 05:41:11 PM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
As what the saying goes, people can't ruin what they don't know. This is just so fit with this topic, privacy is of all things we need to consider and prioritize just like how blockchain is securing us and our transactions. We need to be cautious with who we trust be it inside the crypto space, like avoiding scams and malwares that could steal your data or outside the space where you interact with other people, be picky with whom you'll share what you're up to for you might be doing the right thing but is trusting and telling it all to the wrong person.
2654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: October 23, 2019, 05:34:21 PM
Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
We cannot fully erase scammers in this industry or anywhere, we just can't and they just won't stop. They will still continue to do cybercrimes and scams to earn and whatever we will do to counter their attacks they'll just come up with new ideas to continue their activities. The growing rate of victims of scams are what taking investors into thinking twice whether to trust or not to, so for us to help rebuild the trust, we shouldn't contribute to the fast growing rate of victims by not being victimized by scams.
2655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: October 23, 2019, 05:26:06 PM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

Well, I am expecting that bitcoin will manage to keep its position as the trend builder and will have the highest percentage of dominance in crypto space and that the adaptation will be having an enormous progress, and it's seemingly keeping up with my expectations for it still has its dominance and isn't overthrown by altcoins yet knowing that there's only 2 and a half months left for 2019. As for the adaptation of bitcoin, my expectation is also reached because even small scale businesses is surprisingly using and accepting bitcoin as one the payment options.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Common Mistakes Beginner Cryptocurrency Traders Do on: October 23, 2019, 04:55:44 PM
Well!! Did you know?

Trading crypto is one of the risky thing as a lot of people starts trading without the knowledge of cryptocurrency market.
As a crypto beginner trading crypto safely is one of the best idea ever.

What's your take on this?

What could be more best than trading crypto safely is getting to know it and the whole cryptocurrency deeply. Understanding how it works, be it mining, trading, investing and such, you will be needing to study it so well so you won't be putting yourself in anything that could mess you up. Crypto space at this rate, is full of scammers and cyber criminals so being naive and innocent here is like wearing a deer costume during hunting season, you're surely putting yourself in danger and will be doomed.
2657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 23, 2019, 04:17:31 PM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.
Altcoins could survive and follow the trend just like bitcoin but I think not all of them could make it any longer in the future because people will prefer what's on the mainstream. So if they couldn't make it to the mainstream like ETH and Litecoin, I don't see any potential of them surviving and co-existing in the crypto space. They could build their way through it if  they will be sought after investors and merchants because of the technology they are using and its usability for companies tradings.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 23, 2019, 03:01:11 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
You're idea is good, but I don't think people that keeps on promoting fraudulent projects are doing it for free. People won't do anything for free especially if its as damaging as this, they won't just do it for free and waste theirntime over anything. They're probably earning out of it, and if they're earning out of it, I don't think we can stop them from doing it over again. What we can do niw is not being a victim of these projects because if there are no one to buy their schemes, no.matter what promotions they'll do, their projects won't earn.
2659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 23, 2019, 02:26:11 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
Bitcoin's dominance and emerging adaptation caused and has been causing its counterpart to meltdown, specifically altcoins. But there are altcoins who has the potential to withstand the hard time that bitcoin's dominance is giving them. One of those are Litecoin,  it was beung referred to as "silver to bitcoin's gold" and was among the initial cryptocurrencies that following bitcoin and has similarities to the latter in many ways, it offers faster transactions and faster confimation and has growing rate of merchants that has been using it. Next is ETH or ethereum, it is sought by many developers that are planning to run applications at ethereum platform, investors are also looking into using ETH for other digital currency transactions.
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 12:54:10 PM
What is Scam?
Scam is a dishonest scheme that is carried out by an individual or groups of persons in mode of taking away something that is valuable to others. Those who perform these acts are reffered to as scamers.

How do people get involved, how easily are people scammed and reasons?

Many individuals think of the internet as a get rich quick scheme and once they are exposed to any form of investment promising high ROI, witjout a second taught they jump onto it, you and I as well know how this will end? In a nutshell, GREED is a factor

Secondly the inability to conduct research and make real findings on our own. All this as a result of laziness.

Add yours!!

I entreat all of us to be on the look out for scan projects, make our findings and proof beyound doubts their scam intentions and also avoid been greedy when making an inveatment
Well, the worst thing that you can do when starting up your involvement in crypto space is, entering without knowing anything. it's like going into a war without having any weapons with you., and its like digging up your own tomb. For you to be able to manage and survive, you need to be open with continuous  learning and research everything regarding cryptocurrency, trading. mining. investing and such so you won't end up losing all your assets because you got scammed. It's also essential reading threads about scam experiences of others so you could learn from their mistakes.
