2661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 06, 2020, 04:30:52 PM
If asu was in a really bad situation and at the same time if we're going to take the moral and ethical approach, the attempt would be to at least try to negotiate with DireWolfM14 for a reduction or complete removal of the interest(probably with some proof), and a delayed deadline. But nope.

I haven't charged interest since April.  All I've asked of asu since then is to maintain communication, and make payments.  He offered to pay off the loan in full by August, I only asked him to honor his word.  I know what this past year has done to many folks, and I don't want to put any one in a difficult position.  I just want my money back.
2662  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 06, 2020, 11:33:44 AM
Account coming back from a long sleep could be hacked or bought and selling stuffs worth thousand of dollars made you suspicious not to mention the tag, that's a huge amount and the account is only full member he has nothing to lose with that account, I have doubt but I hope I'm wrong and he will refund you or send you the code.

Check the date on the OP; December 23, 2016, four years ago.  According to CMC bitcoin closed at $921.98 on that date.  wetsuit was scammed for the equivalent of $480.  Bitcoin is worth 20 times more now than it was on that date.

It doesn't really matter if the (Worldwide) account was compromised or sold, it seems obvious he's trying to scam.  Check his threads, many have sockpuppet reviews that smell like total bull shit.

@wetsuit, you should create a type 3 flag against (Worldwide)

you are fucking asshole

Can't argue with that.  I will say it's better than being the whole ass.

when you exclude someone that you dont know is not Self-Scratching ?

No, it's not.  My trust score isn't affected in any way.  I've never received any reviews from OGNasty, nor have I ever given one.  However, I have seen enough to know I do not value his judgement, and only partially because of this incident.

I received a follow up email from coins.ph contains the context below. I hope that Direwolf will read this.

You can email coins.ph here: help@coins.ph
They are always online during weekdays, 8am to 8pm Philippines Standar Time. You can tell them directly your issue.

We understand that you want to get more information regarding this matter.

If you or someone you know wishes to pursue legal actions, they may report the incident to the Anti-Cybercrime Group nearest them. In the event that they reach out to us requesting for more information, we will be happy to coordinate and cooperate with them and provide any and all relevant information that they request from us to help their case.

You may also inform them that they can reach out to us personally so that we can check on this incident better.

If you have questions about this, feel free to reach out.

Thanks for your help, TGD.  I'll definitely reach out to them.

It probably wouldn't hurt to ask if they can help with the TYM issue also.  I submitted a report to the FBI Cyber Crimes unit about that, but who knows how long before they do anything about it.  Contacting Law Enforcement in the Philippines could be helpful.

Crazy game, the Seahawks look off, and the Eagles defense looks good.  WFT, over?  I tuned in half way through the 3rd quarter, and was surprised to find it such a close game.  A Seattle loss would be nice, but not looking good with 2 minutes left...

For some completely unrelated news, I'll be rooting for the Glendale 49ers for the next two weeks...

What are the odds on whether Tuesdays game will get postponed? Smiley

Lol, they should just extend the season a week, and give everyone else an extra bye week.  There are bound to be more teams affected in the next couple of weeks.

While the 9ers were on the plane headed to LA they learned that the Santa Clara County Counsel issued a ban on all contact sports within county limits.  The 49ers can't practice at their home field for the next three weeks.

Not sure what all the people do around here, but seems like not much.
Numerous staff, mods, and I have sent PMs and reports regarding this... all to deaf ears.
Ban evasion 3 times... impressive

I understand your frustration.  I've been to busy to frequent the collectables section the last few months, but after suchmoon's post I went to have a look-see.  That is quite an annoying troll, and very likely a ban-evader.

However, your use of negative reviews does give the appearance that you're weaponizing the trust system to get what you want.  People are bound to take that angrily, and some will retaliate.  I hope the ramifications are temporary and cooler heads prevail.

NFC (L)East

Lol!

The Giants are looking better the last couple of games, but I predict the ForeSkins will take the division.  Washington has an easier schedule going ahead, with at least two games they "should" win, and I think they can be competitive in two more.  Their defense is actually pretty stout, and now that they have The Game Manager back under center I think they have a better chance.

NYG, on the other hand has Seattle, Arizona, Cleveland, and Baltimore ahead.  That'll be a tough row to hoe.

Okay, back to watching the 9ers and Rams turn the ball over to each other again and again for three more quarters.

ETA:  YEAH, BABY!

Someone just tagged 2 Administrators, 1 Global Moderator and 1 Staff member.

Damn, that's a some serious drama amongst normally rational, reasonable, and respectable folks.  I don't know what's lead to this (no references to any of the feedback left or received,) but I hope they can work it out like the rational people they are.

2675  Economy / Scam Accusations / Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: November 29, 2020, 05:35:45 PM
What happened::

On October 5th, 2019 I funded a loan to member asu for 0.3BTC.  Originally, the loan was to be repaired in six payments, and closed out in April 2020.  Asu made the first payment on time, in November of 2019.

In December of 2019 asu requested a an extension for his December payment.  I extended all open loans for one month, while giving my clients a month of free interest, including asu.  No payment was made by asu in December of 2019.  In January of 2020 asu made a payment, but could not make the full payment due.  He informed me that he would only be paying the interest due, but informed me that he would be back on schedule in February.  That was the last payment I received from asu.

In late February I gave asu an extension, and recalculated his loan with a reduced interest rate (retroactive, giving credit for interest already payed.)  In March I received another excuse, and no payment.

In April of 2020 I revised my lending policy due to the pandemic, and gave all my clients an open due date, but asked that they remain in communication with me.  I received no messages from asu between March 20, 2020 and July 22, 2020.  In July I sent him a message, to which he didn't respond.  The message was to ask about a promise to pay; at one point during our earlier discussions he claimed he would pay the loan in full in August.  I wrote to inform him that I expected him to comply.  After prodding him, he did respond, claiming he'll be able to pay 20-50% of the loan in August.  Not only did he not pay, but in late August the asu account stopped logging in, and removed his signature and his avatar.  I was convinced that he was exiting the forum without paying me back.

On October 8th, 2020, over a year after he took this loan, asu sent me this pm:

Hello DireWolfM14,

Can I ask for a bitcoin address to send some of my payment?

I’m really sorry for the delay as I’ve been working hard to pay all my debts. Please give me more time. I’m really really sorry.

Best Regards,
Asu

Again he promised to start making payments, committing to making a payment the first week of November.  Still nothing.  As it stands asu has not logged into the forum since November 4th.  Again I'm convinced that he has no intention of paying me back, and is only jerking me around to avoid being red-tagged and flagged.

I really doubt that nullius is lauda's alt. I don't think lauda is gone though. I'm sure he's on another account. Nullius just seems the same sort of autist that timelord is, but more pretentious.

I also don't believe nullius is Lauda.  There was a time when I suspected nullius of being someone's alt, but Lauda never came to mind.  Now, I have doubts that nullius is anyone's alt.  There was that one Phoney Baloney alt that he created to gift us all with Sparticus' guide to anonymity.   Since it reeked of pomposity and self adoration that only a truly ripe cunt can generate, it was instantly obvious that it was nullius' alt.

I've since come to the determination that nullius is incapable of having an alt.  As mikeywith said, his skin too thin to take any criticism, and he's far to entrenched in his arrogance, self adoration, pomposity, and narrow mindedness to hide those traits.  Any alt he creates will eventually be recognized as yet another cunt.
2677  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reeeeeeeeee: nullius is a c— on: November 28, 2020, 11:18:53 PM
That is the great thing about free expression—if I have it, which I may not here, but anyway...

You are an insufferable, whiney cunt, and like all cunt's you have an alarmingly narrow view of the world; barley past the tip of your own clit.  I regularly read this forum from work, my personal PC is situated where my family can easily see what's on my screen from commonly used areas of the house, and I would prefer not to suddenly find myself staring at muff in those situations.  I assume most people who type bitcointalk.org into there browser would prefer not be redirected to pornhub.

It doesn't matter if the muff in question is deemed to be art (have you seen that chick that shaves hers in the shape of a heart?)  It doesn't matter if the muff in question is hanging on the wall of some hoity toity museum.  It's a muff on my screen, which I clearly didn't search out on my own.  Uncool.  So uncool, I want to say that's a dick-move, but I know it would fall on deaf, cunt ears.

Further replies will be made after a cleanup in Meta.

Oh, why go and spoil the surprise?  Roll Eyes

Self moderated topic local rules; spam posts will be deleted.

I've intentionally left the self-mod rules in this thread extremely relaxed, but what you did there is blatant spam.  Feel free to engage in the discussion, and I don't mind if you mention your projects as a part of that discussion, but please don't do that again.

2679  Economy / Reputation / Re: you forgot to reserve the 2nd and 3rd spots, nullius is a wee bit of a cunt on: November 28, 2020, 02:26:47 AM
Wtf happened to that nice young man anyway?  Did he get hit by the Biden bus or something? Asking for a friend....

He disappeared back in July or August I think. If I was a really snarky cunt I would observe that this coincided with the end of his signature campaign but I'm obviously above such pettiness so I assume he found more important things in life than wasting time on this forum.

You're actually more optimistic than me here. He never struck me as the kinda guy who would just give up his account and walk away entirely. He had pretty high blood pressure after all... maybe he was in the middle of angrily pounding out a response to somebody about Ukraine and Hunter Biden and he had an aneurysm or something.

Damn, I hadn't noticed Techy's on hiatus.  I hope he's well and just taking a mental-heath break from the forum.  He did start heading down the rabbit hole pretty heavy, even attacking other conservatives if they weren't part of the Q Continuum.  If any one needed a mental-health break, it was him.

I'm bored of talking about what a cunt nullius is.
2680  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Question] Why was Retina u=2508950 auto-banned & who are they an alt of? on: November 27, 2020, 02:23:11 PM
I don't know why Retina was banned, or if I did at one point I have forgotten.

There were a lot of anomalies that seemed to suggest S. Therapist was indeed an alt of Mday.  Hilariousandco picked it out first, and he has a bit of insight (behind the scenes) that the rest of us don't.

By the time the Retina account was created, the forum had already run Mday and S. Therapist through the wringer, so I would imagine that if Mday did create another alt he would have taken precautions to ensure that account's anonymity.

From my personal perspective I can't say that I've seen conclusive evidence that Mday and S. Therapist are alts, but I've seen enough BS and squirming from both accounts to say that's a strong suspicion of mine (and I'm not alone.)

I will also say that I haven't seen enough to be convinced Retina is indeed an alt.  But, I am inclined to trust Hilarious, and I don't believe a single word Mday writes.

When the recovery team was in the process of recovering my account they checked my current IP (since they asked for it this means they have checked all the IP history they had in the system connected with mdayonliner), they even asked for my located city, country kind of things too.

That's a strawman argument and it's completely meaningless.  Alts aren't against the forum rules, so as long as the banned Retina account wasn't connected to the same IP, the recovery team won't do anything about any other alts.  Who's to say that recovery team did check to see if you've accessed the forum from the same IP as Retina?  Did they?
