2661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PROGROCK TOKEN [PRG] PROGRESSIVE ROCK-- NEW 10,000 TOKEN AIRDROP!!! on: September 20, 2017, 07:46:05 PM
Hi everyone,

Thanks for the awesome support.  We have some translations coming in and many have asked for the Tokens.

I got an interesting message the other day.  I wish I had it saved but maybe it's good that I didn't because I would have posted it verbatim.

It was basically an offer to keep this thread at the top of BTT annoucements for a price.  Some people who have Hero and Legendary accounts here post in your thread if you pay them.

So, let's show our members that we can do that without paying them, that there is stuff to talk about.

I see this as one of many WAVES Token that will be used to support people involved in good causes.

You can already sell your ProgRock Tokens on WAVES Dex.

You could ask your family and friends to get into crypto and buy some to support your Prog Rock habit, but then that would be like Multilevel marketing.  You could write articles about WAVES, POS wallets, using ASIC miners as a heat source in winter, and so on.

This of it like this.  Every time you post on this thread, you are supporting Prog Rock bands.

This is another one of those "random pos wallets" like RAIN.  It would be great to see it up and running.

Dev has to realize a lot of BTT members are only in it for bounties and the support is very low for any given coin.  The dev has to do most of the work or offer large bounties to get things done.   Early adopters anywhere are very scarce.

This is dev/coin support team 1.0, make everything as mysterious as possible, or expect people to wait days before answer slowly float to the top.  More good people need to come into crypto.

It would be good if people can post some facts in the top most recent posts of the thread.

When did this hardfork happen?  It's unclear because this is an old coin.  Many people like myself don't know if you are talking about something that happened 3 weeks ago, or two days ago.

I was wondering if one adds more coins, does it slow down the time to the next stake.  I've been staking RAIN for about four months now and its been about six days since my last stake.  I've added two amounts 2 days apart between now and my last stake.

For those of us who just downloaded the wallet last week, do we have to upgrade anything?

Both exchanges wallets/withdraws are now frozen?

Yobit was this morning and now Coinexchange.io is.

What is the problem?
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JSUS] JESUSTOKEN - OVER ONE MILLION GIVEN AWAY SO FAR -- AIRDROPS on: September 19, 2017, 09:55:36 PM
Hi everyone,

I submitted again the WAVES Validated Token submission form because they changed requirements midstream.

Here are a few sections of what I had to submit:

We have two major team members,  Robert Pearson and __________(left blank for BTT, his name was given out in slack and on the WAVES form, not sure how anonymous he wants to remain), both of whom are working on the Roadmap.  We have had others do translations in different languages.

We are decentralizing charity with it, giving the token away to those who do certain things related to the aim of the token.

We are working on a positive cash flow, utilizing the past value of cryptocurrency as an incentive to fund growth by evangelizing for purchase of the token so there will be incentive to take part in airdrops and bounties.  If no one buys the tokens, then the value of it will remain low except for those who have faith in the whitepaper.
2669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: September 19, 2017, 08:52:37 PM
Buzz coin is the best atm, EMB, 808 are good as well. check a blog called POS-monkey.

Buzz coin is okay however I would still put 808 coin ahead of it only because there is less 808 coins circulating compared to Buzz coin, EMB and most other high APR pos coins. 808 coin still has a lot of room to move unlike all the other high APR coins out there. It is good to see Buzz come back as it was almost dead thanks to many people promoting it on Twitter and now POS monkey is working with the dev to help out with developments so I do think it has a future but right now I think 808 coin is better.

What is the minimum amount of Buzzcoin do  i need to store in my wallet to enable staking? Is it 100k, 500k or 1M buzzcoin?

I made a stake with 35K a few days ago.  It might be 50,000 now.  Caution against buying on Yobit.  They just froze the wallet.  You can buy it cheaper there but who knows if ever when you can take it out.  They have many frozen wallets there.  I bought one coin there at 1 Sat when everywhere else was 6 sat.  It's been frozen a month now.

An authentic source of motivation the ultimate reflection of determination.BEST WISHES FOR SILENTFILM.

Thanks everyone for the great support.  That means everything for people who develop these Token and are the main support of them.

There is some confusion on the Airdrop.  Just send me a sentence or two showing me that you watched a Silent film horror movie.  Kind of like a short report on it.    I personally don't watch much horror movies, and maybe others don't because not much airdrop requests on this one so far.  The Devil Doll with Lionel Barrymore from the 1930s is my favorite.  You haven't seen a great movie until you watch that.  It's kind of funny but it's very high quality.  It's the first "mad scientist shrinks people movie."   It's not a silent so it doesn't count.

You can also watch one of the many Silent Sci Fi movies since people use Sci Fi movie figures for costumes.

2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SAND] BeachCoin! A digital currency for everyone. *X11 PoW* on: September 18, 2017, 11:01:36 PM
Code isn't open source at least not linked in the OP.   Not much you can do now if the code can't be found and dev doesn't show up.
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EMBERCOIN [X13, POW/POS] on: September 18, 2017, 10:59:47 PM
got my 2nd stake reward from 3 million coins. roughly you have to wait around 9 days for rewards. Just installed the new wallet. Synced up right away.

This coin stakes well with hardly any coins as well.   I stake a lot of coins and trade dozens so not much is in each one.  I got a stake with only 35K.

I am using an older wallet before the market for accounts was coded into it.  What is my easiest option for upgrade to sell the early accounts I have that came from finding 3 blocks?

You get the newest version here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin/files/

Thanks.  I am curious if I should just install it from a set up or are there any other things I should do.

2675  Bitcoin / Mining support / Netgear Router Issues/Internet Service Providers on: September 18, 2017, 07:07:19 PM
I was mining with two antminers fine for about six months and turned them off in the summer.  I wanted to upgrade my router firmware and the process failed on me.  Netgear wants a huge amount of money for customer support, the router is less than a year old, and I did nothing wrong.  They have a bad reputation now for this practice.

Comcast was giving out the IP address of 10.0.0.1 which didn't work with the old Antminer style, which is why I had to buy the router.

To make things worse, I was assigned a dynamically changing IP address which I just had them change it to a static one (a 7*.# one).  I turned on an Antminer and the power is there but it's not engaging and I can't reach it through a browser.

Any suggestions?   Is there a way of going around netgear support and making the router work again?

Buzzcoin or one of the other huge percentage POS coins could go up 100x.

2678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY][AIRDROPS] SILENTFILM TOKEN [SLF] - NEW BIGGER AIRDROPS! on: September 17, 2017, 08:59:22 PM
New Airdrop Announcement

I really love this time of year because it's the season of the best holidays.  I always try to spend them looking at vintage things, because the old artwork, books, and movies really make a person feel special if they just give them a chance.

Someone suggested another airdrop around the theme of Halloween, and I think that's a great idea.

Find a list of silent horror movies by googling "silent horror movies" and give me one sentence or more in a pm that shows me that you watched it.   Haunted house movies count, which are usually more like mystery movies, such as "The Cat and the Canary," for those who spook easily.

This airdrop is worth 1000 SilentFilm tokens.  I know that's more than the first one, because that's the thing about silent films, they just keep getting better!!!

Try to keep this thread more at top people by talking here.  It will help the value of your tokens.

Just wanted to bump this to keep spreading the love of Silent Films.
2679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New and good 1 Sat POS Coins with good teams on: September 17, 2017, 08:21:06 PM
I'm looking for the next RAIN coin, something worth buying a lot of.  If you go to Novaexchange or Yobit you see a lot of 1 Sat coins but its hard to know which ones are new with good sincere teams.    Linda was an example that they're still popping up.

1 satoshi coins specially on Yobit are very misleading because you look at it and think to yourself that there is only one way to go and that is up but you will be mistaken because
- there are nobody to buy that kind of crap and there is a huge wall of 100BTC usually to even go past 1 satoshi and last buy was days ago in the size of a couple of satoshis and no more.
- also because these coins are usually worth less than 1 satoshi like worth at 0.01 satoshi because they are being traded elsewhere with Doge for example. you can buy 10000 of them with only 1 Doge! and in 1 week you can buy 20000 with only 1 Doge.

Thanks.  Your post covers all the basics.  No one wants to usually buy a 1 Satoshi coin, but if you've been around enough you know sometimes they do take off.  Often they are older coins which sink for a while then go back up.  Sell walls are also important to know about.  1 sat coins with no significant sell orders at 2, 3, 4, aren't as bad as ones with huge 8 billion sell order at 2 sat.

I think there are only a certain amount of real crypto devs that code at the core level and they spawn many coins.  They wait for others to come up the food chain, supporting what they started.   Most people really cannot either start or tolerate what happens when you start something.   I see nothing wrong with Devs acting anonymously and starting new projects.  As long as the code is on github that's all that matters.
