2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 30, 2020, 02:12:39 AM
Kobe retired at 38 year old, he was still a star though he was already struggling at that time, but Lebron is different, he is healthy so he could last at 40 years old or even more, who knows, his conditioning is extra ordinary, he spent a lot of money for that and he wants to prove something.

From 2012 onwards, Lakers is one of the underperformed team in the NBA. Kobe Bryant suffered major injuries that affects his overall performance. If my calculation is correct he was 33-36 years old at that time.

If Lebron will make it possible not to suffer injuries, he can even play at 40s in a strong built and established a new record of the most active age player in the NBA which I think being hold now by Vince Carter at 43 years old.

That's right, Kobe was not as explosive as he was before the injury, the injury really changes his career and that is one of the main reasons why LA struggle because despite of him not the same Kobe, he is still taking most of the shots, he didn't adjust and just allow the young guns to do most of the production. If you see Kobe's shooting percentage, he is at his worst.
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 01:58:55 AM
I will definitely gamble no matter what the price of bitcoin is, even if it will reach $1 million per piece, it will not change my passion in gambling.  I don't treat bitcoin as an investment when I'm gambling, so I can take whatever the price in the market.
2683  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Days ahead for the economy of developing countries in Africa on: October 30, 2020, 12:03:55 AM
Africa is a terribly wounded continent. I'm not sure the election of Miss Ngozi in the WTO would be enough to heal it. Even the WTO itself has its own enormous monsters that need slaying.

More than half of the African nations are some of the poorest in the world. African extreme poverty is multi-faceted. In many cases, the poor performance of many African economies are but offshoots of much larger and deeper problems such as the absence of rule of law, illiteracy, and so on.
Africa who has been known of its low economy which resulted into a very poor continent should still be given a chance to prove to other continents that they can still be able to survive despite of the negative issues about them. And this is the best time to bring and introduce Africa that they can still make positive changes through the leadership of a Nigerian representative. This woman might bring positive impacts to Africa now that she's in control with the possible changes in their country.
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 29, 2020, 11:21:22 PM
For all promoters which one would you prefer?

~snip

I choose all three, because the three things you convey are the most important parts for project promoters. However if the Bounty manager is a trusted person on this forum, I don't think those three things need to be applied. I think we can identify the best manager.
Reputable managers already know what they are doing so we can expect that if the project will succeed, bounty hunters will definitely receive their rewards. However, there are also new but good bounty managers out there. Bounty hunters should also give them chances so they can also prove that they are also worthy to manage a good project too.
2685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make your choice now! on: October 29, 2020, 11:01:45 PM
I don't think that being interested in cryptocurrencies is time consuming. For example, you can invest in a cryptocurrency  wherever you like (at home, work etc.). There are so many people who have free time to do different things than just working. We are human in the end. We live our life for once. We shouldn't limit ourselves just to do our job. We should learn different things, have hobbies etc. . Smiley
Of course we can do find ways if we really want to. Being a government servant does not mean you have to do it 24/7. You still have your free time which you can be use in trading cryptos. You can actually do it anytime as long as you have monitored the movement of the market and you are sure of what you are doing. Trading does not mean that you have to monitor the market all the time so you can still manage to do some other tasks aside from trading.
2686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie thoughts about altcoin investments. on: October 29, 2020, 12:59:19 AM
The thing is that you cannot take away the place of research while investing in cryptocurrency. but it is only a few newbies that gets it. Most of them just see cryptocurrency as a get rich quick scheme, that you just invest in a get rich over night. it is better to invest in existing coins that are more secured than to invest in new coins that are not sure.
Don't let yourself invest in new coins that have no assurance that they will lasts longer in the market or might only end up as dead altcoins. Instead, go for the best investment that even skilled investors are up to and that is bitcoin. I know bitcoin is a very risky investment but atleast you know in the long run that you will make huge profits from it once its price reaches its peak.
2687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 28, 2020, 11:58:28 PM
It is better to buy it now instead of regretting again in future when it reach to $20k , $50k or even $100k. you may missed the golden opportunity but that doesn't mean that was the only opportunity. there is still opportunity to get in this train and have at least as much as you can afford.
Buy it now or else you'll be buying at for higher price. don't waste your time regretting for past and missed opportunity. use your brain to make your present and fast better.
If you won't start buying today, you will regret again in the years to come. Bitcoin is risky as it is and that made people think quit about bitcoin investment but if you will start taking it seriously studying its benefits and advantages, you will probably be making fortune for your family's future. There's no room for regrets in bitcoin as it won't help you at all.
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: October 28, 2020, 12:02:26 AM
In the process of trying to be a future whales you could lost everything, trust me this got me no where and I realized that I've lost tons of money because I was never contented, be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say 'im gonna be rich in 3 years later' this is 1% out of 100% chance that it's ever going to happen, remember, been rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living a good life is.
These are the right words. Those who are chasing untold riches as a rule are always left with nothing. And the one who is reasonable, chooses the best ways for investment and is able to be content with little, the one who is able to stop in time, having earned enough - he will always remain on his right way and at the same time will be completely satisfied.
Yes, successful investors are always satisfied with reasonable returns and are willing to stop with small profits.
People can't instantly get rich overnight, making money is a long and demanding process. It's best to learn to be patient instead of impatient to get rich quick.
Yes. Investors who get rich in time surely worked hard for it and not just dreaming and depending on whales that somehow it will make them wealthy. Wise investors always start with small profits, taking step by step strategies until they come up with bigger profits. I also believe being a wise investor needs a lot of patience and perseverance so he can still overcome those unexpected losses that will surely come along the way.
2689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 27, 2020, 11:43:28 PM
I've tried to joined before copy and paid signals well the outcome for me is not good although there are some trades that you can earned but not all the time. We all know that market is always volatile and when we do trades we expect the trend is not always in favor on us. I don't expect that if I trade on my own I can earn profit right away. Above option, I prefer doing trade by yourself and it is not a waste of time, rather it is very helpful that you do on your own and the experience is worth it.

Yes. It would be more self satisfying if we learn to trade on our own based from our own experiences in the past. Although we always commit mistakes but it's a good sign to keep us motivated the next time around. There may be paid trading signals around but it won't give us an assurance that we can easily make profits knowing the market is very much volatile.
2690  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 27, 2020, 11:25:05 PM
For the title it is not pandemic that push the world to digital age but the world was already operating as digital age before covid-19. We are in the digital age already, the pandemic because one of its factors of prevention is to avoid physical contact which fiat was found to be contractor, therefore cryptocurrency became the safe heaven for use

Yes, before the pandemic the world has gradually adapting digitally, but the OP specified that the pandemic are pushing "more" to a digital world and that's somehow true.
Digital payments including cryptocurrency has become even more familiar today because people's activity outside are now very limited.
Btc has now being used by big companies to attract more clients, and I guess these companies benefits more than the crypto enthusiast.
This pandemic has definitely made a great change in our economy particularly on the part of the consumers and the company sellers. We are still heading to a digital age but this pandemic has made it available now because it's the best service that people are looking for now. And bitcoin plays a very big part in this digital age and i think people are already starting to feel its advantages towards fiat.
2691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 27, 2020, 10:59:30 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
No, they are not all scary. What makes things like that is you are investing in a ghost project which is also run by a ghost developer.m No wonder why they suffered losses, ended up to nothing. But we can also blame ourselves why we should have to invest in altcoins that we know already the possible ends? Why not having Bitcoin?

What had driven most investors investing altcoins, new projects because of very attractive offers, x2,x3 on investment returns? Greediness brings no good but worse.
Yes. We all know that altcoins will still end up the same way so we don't have to focus investing on altcoins if we don't want to endure losses in the end. Bitcoin is still risky to invest but atleast we know for sure that we will make good profits from it once we learn how to drive with its pump and dump season. I think it's a matter of patience and knowledge in the end.
2692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Different level of risk in crypto currency trading on: October 26, 2020, 11:59:04 PM
There is always risk involved in crypto, that's why you are seeing that kind of warnings. And there's risk aversion as well, so it's really up to us on how to manage it. So personally, I don't see that there are different though, risk is a risk. The big question is how you are going to mitigate the risk? Do you have plans?
Yes. Once you're into crypto trading, the risk will always be there. This is the reason why you should only invest what you can afford to lose because in trading, there is no guarantee if you will make profits most of the time. One mistake will surely left you empty handed if not being controlled. I don't think there are different level of risks. The only concern here is how you will take the risks and overcome it.
2693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 26, 2020, 11:39:52 PM
Bitcoin is a digital asset.  It can be easily moved from one place to another.  It does not require any physical touch to carry.  All you need is a crypto wallet on your phone or hardware.  It does not even require a third party to be exchanged.  Now let's talk about the guy who did it.  One thing I don't understand is how he put that gold bar in that sensitive place.  It was not right for him to take such a big risk just for the money.
If he were a crypto user, he would never have to do this.  This is the difference between Bitcoin and Gold. Physical touch is required to carry gold, but no physical touch is required to carry Bitcoin.
This guy won't be thinking of doing this illegal stuff if he is knowledgeable about bitcoin. Gold bars are really tantalizing in our eyes but if we think of the consequences once being caught, everything will surely be ruined. Bitcoin transactions are much more secured but this thing like smuggling just to avoid taxes is also not encouraged and be tolerated in bitcoin.
2694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: October 26, 2020, 11:13:22 PM
Some traders already know that if bitcoin goes up, altcoins will go down.  This has become a strong relationship, as traders will sell their altcoins to catch up with bitcoins when it goes up and when bitcoin sideways they start to choose altcoins as their next choice. But everything is need good strategy.
Yes. Since altcoins cannot ride with bitcoin movement in the crypto market, we should always think of the best move on how to make profits if we chose to trade in altcoins. Clearly altcoins won't win in this situation because its upward movement is very slow compared to bitcoin which is always leading in the market. So focus on the best strategies to make profits whether the market turns into bearish or even bullish.
2695  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 23, 2020, 03:37:56 PM
The government controls the FIAT printing process but they don't have such a thing to crypto. That makes a huge difference and I don't think we need to complain about it or otherwise, we want crypto to be controlled in corrupt hands. I don't think it was a failure in crypto ends, instead of being happy why we keep that feature. They keep printing FIAT because that is the need of the community, are we expecting that they will stop doing it? Not for sure...

Better not to compared FIAT and crypto, likely they are different from each other.
Yes. Crypto does not really aim fully to replace fiat because that's too far to be possible but having crypto as a good alternative currency is already good enough. We cannot demand for the government to stop printing fiat because it's their obligation to provide fiat for the country's needs. And for that, crypto is not really a failure because people are starting to trust it and for sure use it in the coming months and years.
2696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: October 23, 2020, 03:12:32 PM
I entered crypto world in the year 2017 and that year was bull market. If we talk about bull run every 4 years so the next bull run will be 2021? Well who knows but you know we can not really predict in the future how the market goes. I don't want to wait a bull market to happen just to make profit, better to look a crypto that has a good project.
I don't think bull run will only happen every 4 years because there's no valid proof and everything are just pure speculations. Anytime a bull run might appear because of the positive news around that will just suddenly happen and that everything will go to the moon in an instant. But let's not always think of it. We can still make good profits even if the market is in dump as long as we know what we are doing.
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Casinos to Avoid on: October 23, 2020, 11:12:09 AM
This is great thread for a compilation of all scams or maybe have open accusation casino I think it's much better if you would also include sports betting sites as well I think some of the sports betting sites lately have some open accusations, scams and more.
I think casinos now have sports betting as well, they are already merged just like our popular casinos in the forum. OP will surely do that, as of now the list are those which are obviously scam, probably he is still doing some more research to add in the list.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 23, 2020, 10:57:05 AM
Forget the instant. There is really no instant. Almost all casinos are talking about it but there will always be around a minute of processing in between. That is good enough and could be what instant really means. It is not as if a single click is only what it takes before you find your funds deposited or withdrawn.

It shows that you have less experience in this gambling industry or probably you have not tried some sites with truly instant withdrawal such as Stake, Bitsler, Primedice and some others. On these sites you do not even need to wait for a minute as you get the txid just after you click the withdraw button. However lets back to the topic as this thread is not about instant or manual withdrawal but this thread is to talk about free withdrawal fees.
I can attest to that as I have experience instant withdrawals in many sites already, in fact, that has been one of the key feature why people love to gamble in a certain site, and actually any site can do that as they can just set a limitation of the amount for instant withdrawal and any amount higher than the limit will be thoroughly review before approving the withdrawal request.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 23, 2020, 10:46:20 AM
Reading comments that Abueva might be the key for Phoenix FuelMaster to become a team to beat, it was like he was treated being overrated. For his debut, I'm expecting a non-aggressive Abueva. I think we will only see a better Phoenix as a contender next conference when Abueva is now fully part of the team instead of the current conference.

Still no reports for Abueva's return. Maybe in the half period of the bubble conference? What do you guys think?

I don't think so, Phoenix chance is now that Fajardo are still not playing, once he is back, all the attention is on him as SMB will again be dominant again.
And this is an ALL FILIPINO CUP, no import ,so teams with great Filipino players has a chance.

Perkins and Calvin are a good duo, they can dominate the paint if they will remain aggressive and I believe they can compete with the Ginebra pretty well even if Japeth is quite dominant in the inside, but you know things could be different with Calvin on the floor as he is known to guarding big players even imports.

The time has come, we will see if he will play today in the 2nd game, as of now, I'm still not seeing any signs that he will play, like a news or something, I hope this will be surprise, so it will bring significant excitement to his fans.
I think he will not play because we are all online and all things that happen in the league has always announcements or news popping out to make more fans gets excited and watch the game. Since there is no news and fans are so silent not talking about this then possibly there will be no show up.

However, I am positive that he will going to play maybe not now or not in this game. He already made it to the PBA bubble so lets wait what will going to happen next.
Agree with you, Calvin will not play today but there's a high chance that he will soon play because he was already inside the bubble and that could only  mean one thing, he is eligible to play, just waiting for the signal by the management.
Can we call this official already that Calvin will not play? If he will it should be mentioned in the first game but I didn't hear his name. By the way, good win by Meralco, again NLEX has been struggling to finish the game, they were able to close the game but their defense was just awful. Ravena had a very good game but it's not enough to carry his team against the Meralco which scores were distributed well among players.
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 23, 2020, 08:21:05 AM
Definitely, NO.
I still believe in the fair play that they showed to us despite some rumors.

Some win and some lose, that is the reality in every game. And it was obvious that the Lakers are better than Heat, so the best wins...
Heat players need time to develop their teammates and to be more aggressive. Hope they can make a good/better play next season.
The best for each season wins.

But many are believing that by the next season, they can still be the one who'll become the champs again. A back to back as their roster is really strong.

I don't believe that it's rigged too.

Each has their own opinion but we cannot remove the fact that there are really bad calls or bad plays in NBA which makes audiences doubt about the game.

When you say audience that does not mean the entire audience, maybe few, and that is normal. Those who think NBA is rig should not just watch the game instead because it will not make them enjoy watching the game as all they think is just to criticize and that eliminates the excitement.
