The consequences of gambling should be taught in school also, especially to a country where gambling is very prevalent, although home is where the discipline should start, it is on the school where they interact with friends and people and they see vices around them.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 23, 2019, 07:10:24 AM
It's hard to say that to a gambler when they are on it, when they are deep into gambling there's nothing that anyone can do to stop them or have control, there's always that hope that the next roll is their turn to win, you can say that to a gambler who is just starting out but never to a gambler who's into it for years.
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: June 23, 2019, 06:37:05 AM
Recently, a Korean National has been robbed here in my place while riding the Taxi going home and lose the money that he won in the casinos, Its around 4Million Pesos or $75,000. This is not new in gambling industry since many incidents like this before. Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunities to become a millionaire, and yet it is being taken easily by a more greedy people. Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?

Here’s the link for your reference (it’s not translated in english but I’ve already share the summary of this news):
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/balitambayan/balita/679284/koreanong-nanalo-ng-p4m-sa-casino-hinoldap-sa-pasay/story/

this is why i hate winning money at the casinos, you feel total paranoid checking everywhere on you way out and back home. you cant trust anyone and you never know if the have some kind of scouts inside the casino just looking for targets to robb.

Based on the story the guy is not a high roller if he is he will not ride a taxi, this is just a regular guy who made a jakpot winning a large amount and done a foolish thing of riding a taxi on his way home and what a coin incidence the bad guys are so lucky to rob a guy with a huge winning, it's really an inside job my take.
2704  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says- If Bitcoin Breaks 100k you can bet it will break a million on: June 23, 2019, 06:29:35 AM
John McAfee, the future presidential candidate says that If Bitcoin Breaks 100k you can bet it will break a million.

What's your point of view on this, let me know!

The way the price is moving it will take a lot of years to happen, he should just prepare his dick to eat, he has predicted that he will eat his dick when it failed to reach 1 million dollars this year, and it seems that it would be impossible for the price to reach that in just a short period of time, he should extend it to 10 more years.
2705  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: June 23, 2019, 05:58:00 AM

I am seeing few people started wearing the yobit signatures again. Is anyone wearing the Signature is being paid too ? Huh
If so, we might see another flood of spam coming in. Better to stop the flood before it gets out of control.

They are only experimenting on it, no one has confirm yet that he is paid wearing the yobit signature.
Hopefully one will confirm about the status whether its still paying or not. Smiley

I think yobit if really are interested to advertise again, they are now looking for a manager to manage their campaign.

Are they really looking for one, well I guess this is to manage the campaign effectively we have a lot of good managers here, but they should first resolve all issues, a friend told me that they have disabled all the former participants so not everybody can join if ever Bitcointalk allow people to join this campaign.
2706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: June 23, 2019, 05:30:13 AM
All sites now should be mobile friendly, the majority of the people are accessing the sites when they are in travel or on faraway places, it's a big disadvantage for gambling sites for not making their gambling sites mobile friendly, their users will want to visit their dashboard from time to time check everything.
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: June 23, 2019, 05:16:13 AM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

They are not lazy after all, in fact, it took a lot of time and effort to learn how to hack, they are always updated on the latest tools and news on how to hack, not everyone can hack it took years for you to learn that, yes there is karma but they are doing it without thinking of that, they are criminals who don't respect who don't give a shit.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: June 23, 2019, 05:09:26 AM
You have given us 6 reasons, actually, only two is enough as long as the investors will not complain of getting scam, but these are good reasons and  enough for them to make a shift, I feel sorry for good projects that cannot make an agreement on an exchange to do an IEO for them so instead they end up doing ICO.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 23, 2019, 04:25:19 AM
can this world stop in gambling?
someone who like to gamble hard to escape from the gambling trap. almost like a drug addict. Even after they went bankrupt still struggling to gamble by borrowing money for gambling. Actually what do they expect?

A country can ban and stop with stiff punishment, but if you are talking the world, that is not possible,  Macau, Morocco and other countries which depends on their income from casinos and gambling sites especially cities like Las Vegas will never do that, all we can do is if we have a friend who is in gambling is to help him seel professional attention.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: June 23, 2019, 02:00:17 AM
I always have a mindset that gambling is fun and entertaining, I used to played for profit but now I played for entertained myself, I like to share my point of view about gambling, but I afraid when I introduce gambling to someone who cant control himself or herself then it can become a problem, and I can become the one that make him/her become addicted

So in one my hand I'd like people to enjoy gambling but in one hand I afraid it can turned into disaster and I could the person that cause the person become addicted, so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?

If you know the guy to be a discipline then you can tag with to gamble and enjoy the game with you, but of course, in between rounds you must tell them, that you are both here to enjoy here and not to go winning a lot, if you both then that's great but after you've lost do not add more funds to try to gain that lost, it will lead to something bad.
2711  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: June 23, 2019, 01:23:13 AM
This is surprising that some able to get in again I used to be on their campaign that was over four years ago checking the link to their signature page and asking some of my friends, they have disabled it for inactivity, I'm not even trying to wear that signature because of the so many bad reports, but if they will have an active manager here, mods might allow them to promote.
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you comfort yourself after receiving token from the bounty program? on: June 22, 2019, 11:21:27 PM
In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low.
So, how do you console yourself?

I first:
I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price.
As a result, I received the corresponding ETH.
I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha!

For example:
I received 1000 ABC token.
ABC token ico price: 0.2$
Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$
Current ETH price: 150$
So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E
If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$. Smiley)

You can look at the best and the worst scenario compute on both,  these two are just potential and you are just speculating on the potential price, and you will continue to do that as long as you have that coin in your wallet, better look on the development of the project and based your decision on what you see on the project.
2713  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: imusify bounty - KYC required after bounty scam on: June 22, 2019, 10:45:57 PM
i thought over was this a scam or my mistake, but do think that this behavior is scam

in bounty thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105001.0 was not listed that KYC is needed, even now, when the bounty is ended, on the thread there is no details that KYC is required

i have done Blog bounty, and was on position 163 in the spreadsheet, final sheet has only 48 approved participants for article/blog bounty, than means at least third is rejected because of KYC, which is a large number, and this is because KYC is poorly communicated at the end of the bounty, which is changing rules, and scam to participants that done their work

there is a bunch of people on their telegram group claiming the same

So many ICO's are like that, they know that most of bounty participants do not like KYC and they rather leave the campaign or do not bother to get the stakes, sometimes they do it intentionally like what you said, they almost don't want to pay their bounty hunters, they are delaying it, locking it and do whatever so they will not distribute it to bounty hunters.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newest Slot Games Released This June 2019 on: June 22, 2019, 10:33:31 PM
Free trials or absolutely free? Are they normal games or  combination of gambling and gaming?
The first and third look nice. could be a right choice for kids.
I Don't play that much.

This is not recommended for kids even with your guidance, they are to young to be exposed to this kind of games, they might end up get hooked  with this kind games, all the design are great might as well try some of it and use the free play, everyone love to trial new slots with free play.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 22, 2019, 03:06:00 PM
I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

I voted the second option, it will make the site appealing there are people who wants this kind of features and a good options for gamblers to play anonymous, but when it comes to winning a large amount some gambling sites will ask for AML or KYC to make their site compliant, this is something a gambler should expect when he wins a huge amount.
2716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about the bounty manager on: June 22, 2019, 02:32:33 PM
Bounty manager Hhampuz is running a good campaign I only known three campaigns right now that he is running, the system he is using is good, and I get my payout always at the same time, looking forward to working with him in the long run.
2717  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty cheaters using reputed members accounts to register for bounty campaign on: June 22, 2019, 02:29:49 PM
Cheater just copies your username and profile link and registers for the bounty.
Cheater can do this with as many accounts as they want well aware that reputable members like you could never visit the bounty section to participate in the bounties
This mostly happens with bounties who managers do not emphasize proof of authentication

I have encounter that so many times I have at least three entries scammers using his own wallet, that is why only participate in a bounty campaign, where there is a proof of authentication, or visit the spreadsheet more often to check if there is double entry of your name.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: June 22, 2019, 01:22:34 PM
Being addictive to gambling is probably the worse kind of condition you can possibly have, it will ruin everything in you, your family, your relationship your financial, you are left with nothing, and your health will deteriorate, you are living a zombie if nobody helps you to overcome it, that is government set up an intervention for people like this.
2719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔴 Time to BOYCOTT ALL Advertisers & Conferences associated with FakeSatoshi 🔴 on: June 22, 2019, 08:45:56 AM
We really need something like this this is a continuing support for the real Satoshi this is to fight those who claims to be Satoshi but cannot substantially prove that he is the real and failed to go to the right process by accessing the real Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet and his account here in Bitcointalk.

I support this boycott.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 22, 2019, 08:24:26 AM
Profit and entertainment these are the two main objectives why we gamble, but entertainment should be your primary reason, if you go for profit you will find your self in a quick sand, every time you try to escape, you will go deeper, I have seen so many gamblers who are after profit only to lose everything.
