1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 16, 2020, 02:45:43 PM
Hi! Have you ever tried to invest into a gambling site? and my question is, is it worth it? Considering that you will not be a player! but you will be the house (not actually the house but some part of the "house" LOL), Your portion of investment will be part of the gambling website's bankroll and if they win you also win! and if they lose you will also lose.

The downside of it is, if you are going to invest, 2% of your total investment will be the fee (2% on the most of the gambling website that I see). So are you going to try it? It is going to be okay if you consider long term investing but if your motive is for short term, I think not.

Is there any people here have tried it for a long term and does investing on it, is worth it?

If you are interested to know what gambling website's are offering Investment, you can check this website: https://dicesites.com/
They list all of the website's offering it and additional information for it.

Small trivia:
the owner of that website is NLNico and the only person here that have The Glider(hacker symbol) badge

Are you going to try investing on their bankroll? Please explain your answer  Smiley
This looks interesting for big time gambler although there is still a risk because you will depend on the bankroll to make a profit, it's a good way to diversify your investment in the gambling sector, hope we see one guy investing on this kind of plan or scheme and share his experience if he made a profits or made a loses.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 16, 2020, 08:51:36 AM
ETH is witnessing a massive pump this year and hopefully I wish it to continue, if the bulls continue to reach the next level resistance it may $440. However it is important to remember this is just an indicator,  I believe it has the capability to reach this value by the end of this year.
https://u.today/ethereum-eth-price-could-reach-440-if-bullish-momentum-persists-market-analyst-edward-moya?amp=1

Remember Ethereum's all time high was over $1000 so we can safely say that a price of over $1000 is possible, when it's their old price in the biggest all time high to date and they can erase that possibly this year or next year, so if we are talking about Ethereum bullish price it should be higher than $1000 because it has been reached before.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 08:40:39 AM
in my opinion it is always better to place bets on the sport you love and know because it makes analysis a lot easier. I for example don't know anything about poker that's why I don't play poker, I just do sports betting because I know about soccer teams and how I like soccer so I only do soccer game betting.

PS: before I do any analysis, I always prefer to watch the teams' previous games and then do the analysis

That's really true most of the gambling games that I played are those who I've played a hundred times because you will develop a skill or method and an insight if you have a chance to win, some of the games I always play with good success in winning are minesweeper dice and roulette.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 16, 2020, 04:41:14 AM
We know Manny is a professional boxer, a legend, a champion while Conor, he's in different genre of fighting which is MMA.

That's why people believe he will win here easily against an MMA fighter.

But despite of that, he can actually win through numbers and profits of this match so that's why this is a good match for him. I've heard that this match will be for real.

That's what Conor wants, he wants to make this his 2nd professional fight after the Mayweather fight (correct me if I'm wrong).

If the fight is going to be MMA format Connor will have a big edge but if it is going to be a boxing match Pacquiao will win and even knock him out I read in one article that Mayweather did not even take the training seriously and yet he won in a loop sided match, what more if he fights Manny.

1725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday is a good time to buy BTC? Is that proved one more time? on: February 16, 2020, 04:25:15 AM
Until Sunday bitcoin prices seemed stable and calm; market did not show any significant movements; I kept checking on preev it showed most of the times $10070. But, suddenly today I see once $10050 and then after one hour I witnessed $9930 and then it seemed recovery in progress as I see again prices above $10k levels.

But, after 3 to 5 hours, right now trading below $9820 and all the faith which made me confident about reaching $12k got collapsed. As someone else mentioned in their topic, this must be another Monday where bitcoin suddenly turned cheaper to get into it. But, I am still confident about bitcoin prices reaching again above $10k and then testing short term target of $14k.
That's a good analysis good for short term trading and profit, I am more comfortable in long term holding, forget the hustle of always looking at the price almost every hour, I am more confident that I have did last year like buying and accumulating good coins will yield me profit after the halving.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 02:52:13 AM

If you have some tips which helped you to gamble for years, please share here. I have limited budget but want to gamble for longer duration even I will not make profits.
There's no guaranty even if you are playing for years that you are not going to experienced losses, you can win some but not most of the time house edge always rule the game, if you have a limited budget then you can bet within your means, just enjoy your games and if you are lucky then you have a chance to win.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 16, 2020, 01:25:15 AM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?
Stopping when winning is much easier than stopping when you are losing, you have this attitude and thinking that your next roll could be your turn to win, it's actually a false hope, but it happens to me several times i end up adding more funds and hoping luck will be on my side on the next roll.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 16, 2020, 12:58:15 AM
Yea, I have received the email from Stake as well.

I started to like Stake with the responsible gambling campaign and the Sportsbet functionality, even when the site design is not appealing for me. I hope more and more casinos would add similar features to ensure the sustainability of the gambling ecosystem. I mean, it would be better if gamblers could play for a long period instead of one-off gung ho that could put them in trouble and never play again.
Also received that email where you can ban yourself for a period of time, I don't think it will apply for compulsive gambler because they have this will come back and win this time attitude, only responsible gamblers can impose that, but I'm glad Stake.com has something like this, other gambling site should follow their lead.
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 15, 2020, 01:16:10 PM
Hi, I have a question if Google will have its own digital currency?it will beast bitcoin or not?

I think that it will beat Bitcoin easily! Because Google controls the whole world of the Internet! And it is very famous among the people all over the world. It can market its currency easily.
This is my opinion! What is yours?

We still have to see how Facebook coin performs in the market, because beFore Google launches it's own Cryptocurrency it will have to deal with regulation first and if they will be allow by SEC first before they can launch their own, they will also subjected to senate inquiry and have to convince these lawmakers to allow them to launch
1730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Fresh Yearly Highs, Profit Taking Push the Price Below $10000 on: February 15, 2020, 06:43:35 AM
Those who can afford to buy and willing to risk are very much into profit now I bought Bitcoin when it hit the $8000 level but also quick to sell it when it hit the $9500 mark for a quick profit but since halving is now coming and there is no sign going down, so I prefer to HODL my coin and wait for another all time high.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 15, 2020, 05:13:07 AM
I'm not on those list of gambler who successfully overcome gambling addiction, before I started on my journey to gambling I already knows the many issues and pitfall that I will encounter along the way and since I have good control of my money and my habit I never have issues stopping anytime.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: forgot which wallet, do have numbers on: February 15, 2020, 04:47:52 AM
Hi all,

A while ago I bought ethereum. I didn't think of it much and recently it crossed my mind again and I decided I want to sell them. But.... I can't figure out through which wallet I bought them. I do have the adress and something that looks like a password... Is there any way I can acces without remebering where I made the account?

Greetings,

Annemieke
There's not really a lot of Ethereum or multi coin wallet, you can compile all the wallets and make a list of it then try the password on all the wallets, and if it's a private key you will not have problem at all, just use Mycrypto or Myetherwallet and it will work on both wallets.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 15, 2020, 04:20:26 AM
Character is a strong point if you want to succeed controlling your gambling habit and also one of the big factor is family and friends with concern with how you gambling, if you cannot realize that gambling is destroying then your friends and family will show you that you are really into gambling, this can help because you are in denial.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: February 15, 2020, 03:06:53 AM
My biggest so far since I started gambling was $300 I was just in luck that night that everything I think of turn out to be the lucky number from then on I believe that gambling is really a game of luck but you can add a method into it but it's mainly a game of strategy if it's your lucky day or night then you can win a lot.
1735  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: February 14, 2020, 05:44:41 PM
I don't know anything about this Kickex until I received that airdrop, it was so huge the first time I received it, over $500 but checking on the airdrop it is shitcoin that they freezes, I think they want attention, and they do get my attention, but until now we never read any posts coming from the devs, so we can say that it's a shitcoin, because if they are serious we will get continous update but there are none and it's only a matter of time before all exchange that listed them delist it.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 14, 2020, 04:03:37 PM
I found it as one of the most interesting question from this article. http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/content/20-questions

Do you guys have that kind of feeling when you are losing in gambling?

I used to when I am new in gambling it was a bad experience on my part because it cause depression thinking that you need to get back your losses when there is no guaranty that you can get your losses right away, it took me time before I overcame that kind of thinking, now I'm more relax and can accept losses.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for Dice on: February 14, 2020, 01:04:54 AM
I used to lose a lot in dice games, i have no much strategy. I used to play at 49% winning chance but could never make a good amount to withdraw. I have tested couple of gambling sites but with dice, I never had win. How are you playing dice? What's your strategy to get the best output?

I do a variation of martingale but manipulating my bet, it's quite tedious but I do get a good results from time to time, the most important thing to do is to enjoy and let the winnings comes, it's a game of chance and the house edge will always have the upperhand, that is why you should do a lot of variations.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 12, 2020, 04:49:14 PM
Often timw, i have seen lots of Bounty hunters complain about inability to sell their earned rewards simply because it dumped massively and got de listed or wasted away or died.

But I feel otherwise, some Bounty hunters expect too much from project they worked for and got few tokens, so instead of taking profits, they hold and end up earning nothing, then they claim the project is scam.

Stop working for free
Don't expect too much profits from projects.

NB: Taking profits does not literally mean dumping tokens, for examples, i earned 4,500,000 cyfm then worth over 200$
Today it worths less than 10$.

Always dyor

After you got hold of your token coming from bounty it's none of anybody's business if you want to hodl it or dump your token you can do whatever you want to do because you worked for it it's your payment and the project benefited from you because investors got to know the project because of bounty hunter's effort.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RNG] Ring: Widest ever initial distro | Proof of Play | CPU Mining | Hive on: February 12, 2020, 10:18:19 AM

Proof-of-play: Play games inside the wallet to earn rewards. This is no gimmick; gameplay directly generates blocks and secures transactions.

Can you explain a bit more how this works... How are the blocks generated through game play?

Sounds new to me I'm not a gamer but my children and some of my friends does and I can invite them to play this game if I will be rewarded with coins have book mark this thread and will wait for the next big announcement.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: February 12, 2020, 08:50:06 AM
I dont think bitcoin fork can offer better than what bitcoin can give , for me bitcoin fork is the same as other altcoin and no special  thing other than its a fork of bitcoin and use the name of bitcoin.
In terms of use cases eth and xrp is better than other fork you listed but xrp is centralised , they are also following the movement of bitcoin BTW.
I refuse to accept your thoughts, these forks offer better performance in features, speed, fees and they implement few other things that bitcoin can never have so yes its true that these forks can do better, I'm not sure of BSV but the few ones OP mentioned are good
But the market is not on these Bitcoin fork, it's true that they offer speed and lower fees but unfortunately investors and the whole community are very much into Bitcoin, take a look at Bitcoin's dominance, altcoins and these forks has a lot of catching up to do.
