2721  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Any genuine Virtual Credit Card Sellers here? on: April 07, 2018, 05:25:31 PM
Oh! I see! Yes, i was also charged 10$ for the first time i purchased~ I will pass it, because i can't charge less than 5$ as because Paypal deducts quite a much...In case of change of mind lemme know! You can PM me or contact me via ICQ provided in above post. Thanks ^^

I am an Aws EC2 provider at Invites & Accounts thread, I can provide this for $5 each I can provide many as you need if you want MC/VISA VCC loaded with $1.You can add me on skype or you can visit my thread since I am selling AWS EC2 accounts for only $6 each here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3064334.0

To both the sellers, I am willing to buy them through Bitcoins only.
@darkie199, so tell me, how will the fee be high if I pay using Bitcoins?
I'm not willing to spend more than $3-4, because if the account doesn't deliver what I'm expecting of it (in most cases, due to cards), I might incur a loss which I'm not here for. Hope that one of you will understand my side as well.
2722  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Any genuine Virtual Credit Card Sellers here? on: April 06, 2018, 06:09:13 PM
Yup!!!  But may i know how much are you willing to pay for each VCC ? You can easily verify AWS account's with our VCC's.
For further details you can contact me via ICQ: 721 383 059 | PM | Skype

I have quite a few genuine people in my list, but they have now started charging as high as $6 per card, and I'm not willing to pay more than $3-4 (negotiable, but not more than my mentioned amount). If you can give me for such price, please PM me or let me know about the price here itself.

You only want for aws?
Please have a look at my thread. I sell vcc https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3207586.0

Thanks for your offer, but checking your price, I will need to let go your offer.
As I only need $1 pre-loaded cards used just for the purpose of verifying AWS and I believe that $25 is not what I'm looking for. I need low-priced and low amounts pre-loaded in cards.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IS IT THE BEST TIME FOR GAMBLING? on: April 06, 2018, 04:13:53 PM
There's nothing bad at doing it. I believe that doing it the spread-betting style will make you more gains.
As well, you can buy more and more during its bearish periods and gamble more, win more.
But, the only thinig needed here is LUCK, to keep winning at such a pace that you hold your capital in terms of the value of BTC no matter if it goes up or down. Losing to a level where you get down more than 50% of your portfolio shows that gambling isn't the right thing for you even in this bearish market. Try to be very precise with the choices that you will make, there are many seasonal matches going on. If you are good at them, try your luck. Follow tipsters like Joca & CarlesPuyol who already have a much stronger track record.

2724  Economy / Digital goods / Any genuine Virtual Credit Card Sellers here? on: April 06, 2018, 03:06:53 PM
I've lately noticed that there had been few services only, those which have turned out scams now.
And others stopped selling VCCs. I need a $1 loaded VCC to pass AWS verification in order to create some accounts for SES requirements.
Is there anybody who could help me out here? Please don't bother to contact if your intention is purely scamming as I know how to assay people.
If you really have a card and you know that it will surely work out for me, then only post here.
2725  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: About possibility to Sign messages in Segwit address in future on: April 06, 2018, 02:41:30 PM
Yesterday I added my signed message to the Tomatocage's thread for stacking bitcoin addresses, but then I realize that I cannot verify it online, only in my wallet, and deleted my post. No point to post it if it cannot be verified online.
So thankfully found this thread and I know why. Almost no info in Google tho.
Seems that the SegWit addresses cannot be used to sing messages at the moment, even if you have this feature in the wallet.
I guess I have to create a normal address only to verify my account here.

What's the problem when you can do it with electrum?
NOTE: To stake your Bitcoin address, why don't you use Legacy address till a solution is found?

OP which wallet are you using? Because electrum can very well sign and verify messages signed from bech32 addresses. I think some of the other segwit wallets like samurai don't have a feature to sign message yet. I'm assuming since electrum can sign message then bitcoin core 0.16 also should be able to do that when its released.

Just signed one with electrum.
Code:
Message: Signed message
Address: bc1qyjqygpulgd6y69ync6wvd256qjltszekd2pz0x
Signature: HwNkc1x7GtforrqObazbOOure4XV5Jpx51Uf/dQ7hLQNEhkO+914HqUupdYJd3LH0eBtfENXBWRj3mb+HbQOoDw=

Things are still being developed before such a feature is allowed, because if any bugs take place in this, many scams will take place under signed messages. It's better to wait, or use Electrum's Bech32's addresses as they are completely verifiable in the wallet itself. There's nothing else that anyone here knows about, which either allows you to sign or verify a message from SegWit addresses.
2726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: April 06, 2018, 02:36:42 PM
Stop believing the FUD! This is all well-planned for the value to slip down near $6000 level, which it did.
The Government played the act in a well manner, possibly G20 countries had all this planned because they know that India holds a big % in crypto world, as well as they also know that Indians react based on their emotions and don't even think twice and that's because of our media which adds up a lot of spice to any news and make it look more serious. Bitcoins are probably going to be bought by Banksters and they will probably make it too much expensive for an average user to even think of buying it. I've read an article that gives a good explanation of what to expect from all this FUD:
https://itsblockchain.com/rbi-banning-cryptocurrencies-fud/

Just stop believing them and sign this petition: https://www.change.org/p/rbi-make-india-at-the-forefront-of-blockchain-applications-revolution

Let's show them that we are not going to be their slaves. This is our country and our money and we have the right to use it wherever we want to.
2727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They are coming with a new way to attack Crypto currencies! on: April 04, 2018, 12:15:48 PM
Regardless of Governments, things are already centralized even in mining where the Governments may actually involve theirs heads by diving into these companies that send miners to their users and/or ask them to take KYC of their users. Nowadays, all the ICOs ask for KYC even for an airdrop amount, and you know what? People give their documents for just a few bucks (and sometimes, even pennies). What would these ICOs do with our KYC? They will surely give them to their Government Officials to keep themselves safe and let the game going. Who is in danger now? The users who gave their KYC, be it for the purpose of some airdrop tokens or due to their investments. I would ask just 1 question to everyone out here: These Governments say that they are trying to protect us by going to REGULATE crypto. Now think twice and tell me, who are they trying to protect? Regulations will not do anything but just f*ck our asses by making us their slaves once again as this is the only thing that's our weapon to fight their all-time traditional banking systems which have been looting us since years and making rich richer, poor poorer!
2728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: about Bitcoin on: April 04, 2018, 12:02:43 PM
Literally speaking, there won't be enough answers to satisfy your desire of knowing more about Bitcoins here!
The more people will post, the more you will get confused with different definitions (according to their knowledge).
Check this thread that contains all that you need to learn: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1992622.0
Go for the first few pages and try to understand the basics (as I believe that posts after the 5th or 10th page makes a thread look like a megaspam one, and most threads are megaspam threads only due to everyone saying the same thing in a repeated way).
2729  Other / Beginners & Help / Interesting debate between an Avg Joe and Legend over how was life before Merits on: April 04, 2018, 11:53:55 AM
As everything in the world of crypto (and this forum) progresses, an average "Joe" (who doesn't know much about Bitcoins and its technology) meets a Legendary "Steve" (who's been in this since 2010 and possesses a lot of comprehension in the various genres of cryptocurrencies).
They start talking about their experiences and an interesting debate takes place, let's see what will it conclude!

Joe: Hey Steve! How are you man? I have been here over Bitcointalk lately but I think that things have changed a lot, eh!?

Steve: Hi Joe! Yes, you are right! Things have changed a lot over this forum for various reasons like stopping spam, making users work on their posts at higher levels by putting them under radar, letting them work on their quality to gain merits to become higher in Rank.

Joe: Oh! (With a sigh) Don't you think that this is somehow an injustice to us? I mean, to reach higher ranks with merits is just as impossible for me as walking from Washington DC to New York! Don't you think that this is something not good for the new users?

Steve: Ummm, no! Not at all! I believe that after seeing the increased level of shitposts spewed out by many users containing nothing but a 1-2 lines (or sometimes, even words) of garbage, done under the "intoxication" of making too much money compared to what they earn in their 3rd World country as a salary, this step is a harder one in lieu of making this forum a much better, beautiful place where people like you, should come and learn with the best answers and not just try to find out of those 1000s of shitposts that contain nothing but the same ODL thing told again and again. I really wish this would have been injected already since the beginning of the forum, we may have had this place to be one of the best sources to gain the highest amount of knowledge about Bitcoins! And no, it's not that hard to gain merits if you gather some basic knowledge about the technology and start helping others. Even some good people on the forum are here to help you by giving merits to your posts that deserve it.

Joe: Ah! I'm not so convinced yet, Steve! Tell me something more, man.

Steve: Sure, why not! Let me give you an example here:
Take Bitcoins for instance. It was started as an initiative by Satoshi to let people rule their finances their way without the interference of any third party.
It was worth less than a penny once, tell me Joe did it reach this level immediately that it holds ATM? No, right?
It took years before it went mainstream and people understood the concept behind, many take it as a get rich quick scheme, others trade it as an asset but what's the purpose of this crypto?
To let users send money to their loved ones with any intermediaries and send it for least fees and make it reach to the receivers at a go! Everything takes time, and I believe that forum didn't have such rules before because it was not giving any opportunities in the start (as it was just the beginning). But this has now become a home for many users who either earn Bitcoins as their side income or their full time salary. So, when comes earnings, comes competition! And this is what's created by the admin to stop all the SPAM that's eating out the credibility of the forum. If even 10% of users like you understand what is behind this harsh step, you will surely gain way too much than those 90% who will always spew out negativity and bullshit if they witness anything new.
CHANGE is the rule, you need to ACCEPT it and you will always be happy.

Joe: Hey! That's a nice explanation! I'll watch out for my posts to be well-worthy against those who just spam for some pennies (like those bounty guys) and those who only post for the purpose of making money (even if they don't deserve to be in the list due to their low-quality posts). I've understood the reason behind this step and I'm all up and learning more and more, will contribute to the best of my understanding towards the good of the forum and will also appreciate others who will do the same way (by giving them merits if I earn any), and draw spammers' attention towards following these rules to become good posters in their near future and understand the seriousness this thing holds in itself.

Moral: Well, it's not just a debate but a matter of understanding, that things change over time and acceptance is the only alternative we have.
Barking our mouths off and trying to outplay the rules by going against them, breaking by spamming will get you nothing but trouble.
Learn a lot, try to understand everything before posting because such things will surely help you improve, improvement is what is needed if you are not getting merits!
I'm not trying to make this too serious, but this will become serious over time. So, it's better if you understand this well before, and start taking steps to IMPROVE yourself.

It's your choice now, whether you want to be one of those 10% who will listen to me and move forward into the mode of advancement, or you want to be one of those 90% who will always keep complaining about the system instead of going on with what's there already. Think about it, choose wisely!
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Need to Do Before Choosing a Tipster on: April 01, 2018, 11:04:46 AM
Hope this would also be an alternative in choosing the BEST tipster out of a list of tipsters:

6. Ask them to give/accept a challenge from a tipster of their level
To testify the skills of a tipster, it is necessary for us to put them under the rules of probation and ask them to compete with someone already having a good (or even better) track records than them. As it is our money we will be betting with, and even paying a higher fee to such tipsters, we do have the right to see if they are actually the ones we should rely upon, and whether they really deserve our money or not? Choosing a tipster is a very arduous task and we need to have all odds on our side and see if the tipster we trust - makes it through their years of experience, hard work and research or not against whom they compete.

well no I don't think so , as long as you have the records for both tipsters there is no need to make them compete against others
I mean if you already have the info about them and you have the records you can use your judgments to choose between them , at the end there is no one forcing you to subscribe for a certain tipster

Checking for each tipsters' track records is what came to my mind as well, mate. But, I thought that each tipster is good in few genres, and if not - their sub-genres. So, let's say that tipster A asks for $500 as a fee for his 1 month tips for English Premier League and tipster B charges $290 for Serie A matches' tips per month. What I'm trying to convey here is: ask both of these tipsters to get out of their genre and take the challenge and let tipster B give some bets for English Premier League matches as well tipster A should give tips on Serie A matches. I know I'll be criticized over my thinking, but I believe that their skills should be tested at extreme levels to check whether they really deserve our money or not? As it's not just the money that we'll be giving to them, it's about the money that we'll be betting with in order to gain better ROI back (what we gave them) and make good profits.

@Oceat,
I believe that when it comes to money, we always go beyond limits to keep our end safe.
2731  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox2 - exchanges sell Bitcoin he not really have on: March 31, 2018, 01:55:29 PM
haha, hey kiddo you are way too late to the FUD party involving MtGox and you are not just embarrassing yourself with a dumb topic like all the post history that you and your alt account (which is also giving each other merit) are sharing Cheesy

this is the same thing with slander, discussing a matter without evidence.
you better lock this thread because over time this can menghmeh yourself, and you will look stupid by most people.
I give advice on good name ente

Why do you keep ridiculing her looks stupid.
is there something wrong from the topic him, if there is !!! give him a good direction not a mala you sayin with stupid words. You are more senior here is not properly you guys give good direction. Naturally if the master JNiks_ZLisa has to the mistake because it is clear that the science of JNiks_ZLisa master no nothing compared to your science that has already plunged into the world of cryptocurrency.

Too concerned about him/her/whatever?
The person didn't even write a correct statement, making everybody confused as to what they meant to say!
Now, here comes the second person xbiv2 (or maybe the alt account only Wink) who gave merits to such a post which is not even worth half a merit!
What has science to do with the presentation of OP here? Any logic please?
Who, and how can somebody give this guy a better direction without even understanding what they are basically trying to say?
Please elaborate - what did the OP try to convey us in their 3 lines and another 5 words statement?

"hacked" mean come unknown person transact all bitcoin so yourself, it do the owner to avoid loss and initiate bankruptcy, and no one can do anything against it.

Did they really do that? Heck, my bad I didn't knew! Aww snap! /s
Hacking and selling both are two different things, moron! They declared themselves as bankrupt because of a hack that took place over the exchange (but if they mislead everyone by telling that to everyone and possessed the BTC with them only, that's where selling can be considered as a crime committed by them as it was people's money and not theirs.)

Bitcoin mean no one can find you`r money, even policy.
Oh yeah, really! Right?
WRONG! Even Bitcoins are traceable (if you leave any evidences online of your transactions, be it signing a message here or using an exchange to sell your coins where you need to do a KYC before they allow you to do so). Bitcoin is not completely anonymous, it is pseudonymous.

2732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do's and Don'ts to get merits - Read carefully! on: March 31, 2018, 01:30:28 PM
There's a lot of postings about merits that I've been reading about but I think this is one of the better ones that's worth your reading time if you really really want to earn merits.  I think it's a cool system, and it looks like its here to stay.  Even Reddit has its own version of merit which is called karma.  Merit is still new, in its infancy, and I would say that we should give it a fair chance to manifest itself into this forum.  Instead of whining, we newbies (including me) should figure out what it takes to earn the merits rather than complaining or debating whether its fair or not.

Case in point, I am a newbie, barely a day old, one of my posts was awarded a merit even though I didn't expect it, or with intention to earn it.  I only wrote what came out of my mind and from my heart.

We humans tend not to embrace something that's new because we're comfortable with the old.  Embrace the change I would say, for in life, the only thing that is certain and inevitable is "change".

I can't express how glad I'm feeling when I saw this comment of yours!

@Everyone,
That's what I have been trying to explain each and every member of the forum that - ACCEPTANCE is the only thing that can make you or break you.
Either ACCEPT THE CHANGE and move on with it, try to learn and contribute with your efforts (and once they are observed, why wouldn't you be rewarded by us?) We are not going to keep it to ourselves as it will be decayed (and so, it'll become worthless for us) OR keep whining and spreading negativity in the community about what you don't like and keep getting disliked for whatever you say being a naysayer. Come on, grow up, learn and understand that this is for the better of the community only.
We need you to dedicate yourself to the power of your words and show it to the world that YOU ARE THE ONE WHO DESERVES IT.
CHANGE IS NEEDED, YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR THINKING TO LIVE IN A NEW & BETTER WORLD!

2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why kyc? on: March 31, 2018, 01:13:39 PM
I never knew primedice ever asked for kyc while withdrawing big amounts.
Though I believe kyc is necessary for withdrawing big amounts as it safeguards the gambling website, and if you notice, the ones asking for kyc are more reputable than the others, and this reputation only let's them have the ability to ask information from its users.

I believe they never did before they found cheatsheets by users like HufflePuff who found the seed and looted the house edge badly, and was even into making more unless they decided to stop this by asking for KYC. Reference - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=843892.0
This is actually good if they are doing it in the interest of both - the users and themselves to protect both the ends from getting scammed in either ways. But, I am against regulations and if they will be doing this to present the data in front of governments, well all I have to say to such gambling sites is - FUCK OFF. When we deposit at their sites, we give their house edge a chance of the % set by them to be won at their end, but if these things will ever take place surprisingly to harass the users and not to let them withdraw - by making them stop the pursuit for their own money is ridiculous. Unfortunately, in today's world where Bitcoins have gained too much, everyone is becoming cunning under the name of, let's say, Governments asking for blah blah documents to process your withdrawals or like we need to have them for future reference that we are paying the correct person.
2735  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: What about HitBtc? on: March 31, 2018, 11:59:48 AM
Hi,

I've read some things about this exchange..
Is it good or not? Can someone advice seriously without whining, please?

Thanks a lot.

In earlier days, I used it for the first time when I sent my BTC there and purchased TRX (Tron) as it was being hyped by too many people.
I made BTC0.05 out of BTC0.009 as the value of the coin rose exceptionally. It was being said that the exchange is keeping the prices higher for each coin listed there compared to other exchanges (which looked something really serious to worry about). But then, somehow I managed to get my withdrawal processed and it took more than 3 days for them to send me the funds (that too with the least fee and it was the period when fees were higher - you must be remembering those $10 per transaction days). My advice would be to stay away from this and trade on better exchanges such as bittrex, binance, poloniex, etc. which possess a good reputation and won't harm your capital (either by manipulation or by scamming their users by running away with their funds). And as BitcoinMarshal said, please move this to Service Discussion board to get much better experiences heard on this.

Thank you for this mate. Merits should be earn in a hard way. A long way to go for newbies like me but we will all go there soon.  Wink

This the best advice anyone can ever give and have, very nice piece worthy of reading, such a good job in writing this

Welcome all of you and I feel highly obliged that it is of some help to all of you, but I will feel much better when even one of you will get the advantage of the information that has been given here. Please take everything seriously and upgrade the level of your posts as high and competitive as you can, and get those merits for all your work. I really want this community to follow one simple rule: "EACH ONE TEACH ONE." If this is followed, I believe that this forum will become the most beautiful place where all of us would love to visit.

You just need to discuss things you know about, and learn new things before discussing them.
Never make a comment that's already been said 10s of 100s of times as that's what is considered a spam.

I think I have seen same topic somewhere in Meta section before. I will update this post once I see it again.

Thanks a lot for drawing my attention to this thing.
I've checked the Meta section thoroughly and found this - TMAN'S guide to getting merit.
But, after checking their thread, I believe that there are a few more points that I've discussed here and as well, there are do's and DONT's too.
I'm seriously a big fan of TMAN and by watching them and many other posters who post there, I would add one more advice here in the DO's part.
Please watch for the same.

Updated the thread with 1 thread that lists all those places over the forum where you may get a chance to get merited for your posts.
Hope this really helps in your journey and may you earn many merits if your posts are worth it. Smiley
2739  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: It is NOT secure to use hardware wallets (and it never was) on: March 29, 2018, 02:02:21 PM
I think that hardware wallets are still one of the safest ways for safe storage of private keys, although from time to time a security vulnerability appears, but also very quickly after that we have update which fix the problem. This is something quite normal, not only with hardware wallets, but with any other device or operating system which exists today.

It's not normal at all. Hardware wallets advertise themselves as being the most secure way of securing your private keys, but they continue to find themselves in a position that draws negative and unwanted attention. How long will people swallow this? I don't think much longer, because you can keep releasing firmware fixes and whatnot, but the more often you have to do this, the lower your overall credibility becomes as hardware wallet manufacturer. I was doubting whether or not to purchase one, but haven't done so because I am not going to put my faith in a piece of hardware that I personally don't know of what leaks its firmwire may contain that we don't yet know of, or even in the hardware part itself. I have been reading here and there that people owning hardware wallets will revert back to the old and solid paper wallets, and rightfully so.

I understand your stand, and many others think in that way,but is there so far even one recorded case that someone lost BTC or any other altcoin from hardware wallet and that the cause was a security breach? To my knowledge such a situation has not yet occurred, for safe storage and everyday use hardware wallets are currently the best choice.

But if user have large amount of coins and has no intention to spend them in the near future, then paper wallet represents the safest option for long term storage.Although every users need to know that paper is not something that lasts forever(or ink),we have users on this forum who have problem to read private keys because ink is faded.

We all are here for privacy and safety, both.
And as said somewhere, past performance does not guarantee future results. Everything is hypothetical and so is the usage of these hardwares, when even computers are not safe with our so-called perfect Anti-Virus which guarantees us that it holds the best properties and all the data that could prevent our PC from being hacked or be malware-affected, still can't fight the newer ones (Viruses) that are being badly released by those hackers with the intention to steal all our data - can you guarantee that such hardwares are trustworthy even after reading the complete PDF given herein by the OP?

Depth 2 Merit Sources - Users who will receive the re-allocated sMerits (Won't generate new sMerits)

This is exactly what will already happen.

Merits aren't currency, Theymos can allocate as much as he wants to whom ever he wants. The "decaying" concept just means if you aren't going to use them you're going to lose them. Theymos can offer up more merit if the "spending" gets slow or the system starts to stall a bit and their granting of more to anyone doesn't diminish the value of those already received.

I think you're over complicating it. Creating a system of automatic reallocation would require way too much effort for the benefit.

Don't you think that decaying of Merits is actually good?
It's because those who have merits, but don't have the time to use them will have their merits called as worthless to them and they deserve not to have such sMerits with them. Think of it, anyone seeing that their sMerits' number is being reduced or completely down to 0 will either make them leave that thing as it as (as they are not interested in giving it to anyone or don't have the time to check for such high quality posts) or work for it to get sMerits back through their posts to understand the value of their "lost" sMerits.
