I'll review the situation pertaining my future actions on the next update on Loyce's website. Another problem are people who do not act (e.g. remove inclusions), further giving credibility to these shady/scammy practices and creating a platform of support. In the same time, you can't tag these people or do anything because it isn't "proper use of the system" according to some. When all your systems fail you despite your potential actions being objectively just (by any conceivable metric of any honest and rational person), what do you do?

Can it be done what's said by suchmoon, Lauda?

Let's not forget to red-tag and/or exclude theymos for allowing all sorts of scams to happen here and for making money off the traffic generated by said scams, including Yobit, Livecoin, Cryptsy, Mt. Gox.

Could this be the best practice according to you? Because theymos is the first person who can be called as the "Father" of this forum and nothing here is being done under his nose, everything is transparent. Why didn't he react? Why didn't he stop Yobit this time? Or even when they started spreading their X10 shit over here? I'm not trying to point my fingers on theymos but when it's all about justice, he also needs to be scrutinized for allowing such ponzis here, no?
1842  Other / Meta / Re: Thread subject - Hijacking or an opportunity? on: January 28, 2020, 10:14:35 PM
Can't that be seen as an opportunity rather than calling it a hijack? I mean what is the problem even if someone changes it (I know that all the replies ahead will have the same title added below if a poster doesn't notice the change). I still see it as a way to use it as a subject of what you are going to say, so you need to describe less in your content box here (well everyone thinks differently) but alike TP, I've also not noticed any such abusive instances for the same. Can you bring attention to some here?
1843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is officially about to enter bull market, guys your thoughts... on: January 28, 2020, 10:06:30 PM
While getting bullish on BTC sounds really interesting, let me throw a fact here that you should also not forget that the value is now big and to move the markets, it needs more and more money coming in as well as you can see now that the accumulation phase looks like it has come to an end, so some investors will also book some profits to fetch out USD from the markets at $9500-$10k stops. Watch out these levels and if defended by bulls strongly, we can say that we are in for a big bull rally where BTC will go paranoid.
1844  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 09:50:35 PM
I'm now clear with this thread that if Justice needs to be done, either it should be done in full or nothing.

That either DTs tag Yahoo if they are intended towards tagging the users who advertised Yobit in their signatures or none should be tagged. But what about those who were either banned by Yahoo or left the campaign themselves either before or after that X10 advertisement arrived? As they were also a part of Yobit's campaign some time before, should they also be tagged for advertising Yobit or they are set free? If so, how will they be found now?
1845  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 09:44:38 PM
$9.2k and this has opened the doors for a rally towards that $10k which used to be one of highly anticipated targets when we were to reach it for the first time ever. 2020 looks to be promising but not much, 2021 will bring a whole lot of surprises in terms of a bullish rally. Just prepare during 2020 while we reach the $15k mark and moreover, a new ATH till the year end but 2021 will possibly show us a 6 digit BTC.
1846  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Cryptocurrency Sportsbooks on: January 28, 2020, 09:20:01 PM

However, I checked more in-depth and didn't find so many recent scam accusations. Most of them were from 2018 or before. It's a good thing to find "not so many recent accusations" for a gambling site because all gambling sites regularly undergo scam accusations.

I've always seen a disclaimer whenever watching some people giving tips that "Past performances are no guarantees of future results and are completely hypothetical', same applies to a sportsbook and/or a gambling website so putting blind trust on such websites could land your money in trouble.
1847  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 09:03:16 PM

Read this part again.

However, in this case Yahoo actively avoided taking action for a very long time despite pressure and evidences of Yobit scamming / the x10 being a scam/ponzi, etc. This is not acceptable, and does not even come close to occasional errors, but rather a willingness to either consistently sell out (directly, indirectly, consciously or unconsciously - it does not matter, I don't care if one person can't admit to themselves that they have been bought) or that their whole judgement is fundamentally flawed (and always has been).

I got your point there, but can you deny the fact that Yahoo also stood up against Yobit itself when they came up with their X10 shit without letting him know while they directly asked the users to immediately change their signatures when he was not online (or I can't say if that was all intentionally done). Yahoo asked Yobit guys to either change the signature back or he'd stop managing the campaign. Nonetheless, I don't think that if users are going to be tagged, yahoo will, by any means, be left by DTs though I'm seeing many DT members in favor of not tagging Yahoo and even the users because it was all a dubious act to make money 'on the verge of getting people's nerves stressed' as all I see it. It was all "Yobit" that I couldn't see any other signature as most members who posted in any threads in some highly-active-yet-spammed sections of the forum were wearing that X10 signature, the whole Bitcointalk forum was in Yobitious colors.
1848  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 08:47:35 PM
I'm biased on this issue based on the fact that even if Yahoo wore a scam exchange's signature (based on factual open scam accusations against that exchange), I guess he did wrong but it may also have been asked by the company to be giving him a better financial deal he's ought to take, so he took. Another view of me looking into this is that fact we all can't deny, and i.e.; Yahoo didn't leave a single spammer aside and banged banned almost each and every of them and played his part in keeping the forum as clean as possible. Now, what could he do if the list has around 300-500 (and even more) people who joined the campaign? Is it an easy task to watch all of them? Still he banned a lot of accounts, so it'll be quite more of a dishonor to tag him. Biased as I said before.
Completely off-topic and unrelated. His "banning of spammer" does not excuse his active and passive support of the ponzi scam.

Meaning whatever he has done for the community as well as the forum since years shouldn't be counted as well against what was committed now? Couldn't his signature be the requirement by Yobit guys to pay him a good package as I stated before?

I couldn't give more fucks about YoBit.
What I do care about is innocent posters getting red tags.

Tell me something.
You're a friend of mine, you are known to a scheme that promises you an X amount in return every single day, well either you are earning through it or not that's another case but they are paying you to bring them their potential customers (here: VICTIMS) and without testing them yourself, you bring that scheme to me as a friend and ask me to go to them and show interest in that scheme. Obviously I'd do it like a blind ass if I'm not aware of the intentions they have in their mind. There's no fault of yours maybe because you were ^thinking good for both of us^ (for you as you are going to make some bucks on me arriving there and for me as I may be getting some fucking returns), but my friend, when you haven't tested it for yourself, why did you tell me about it and send me to them? What if I get scammed after they run away with my and many other innocent people's money? Whom should I contact with, then? You, right? I'm not saying that I'm in any support for tagging you or anybody who advertised them but if you were warned, it means that it is not in the interest of both the forum as well as the users of the forum in general. I don't get it why theymos didn't step in when that X10 shit was circulating all over the forum for some days.

Just the way you like soccer, it is in my blood and I love to watch the games as well as bet on my fav teams in Premier League and Serie A as I'm currently following these 2 only. As well, I also gamble on NBA matches sometimes when my mood is good and the team also looks strong after watching players' stats and condition in which they are playing. I'm not so addicted to gambling and can stop myself when I feel that enough is made and my goal is not so high, limiting yourself really helps and gains you a lot in the long run. Smiley
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 28, 2020, 07:34:54 PM
While BTC and Eth are the ones I used a lot before the surge in both its price and the fees, I later started using XRP for small value bets so to maintain my capital in an effective way with least fees. I am now a fan of XRP and use it mostly to gamble on both dice sites and sportsbooks.
1853  Other / Meta / Re: Are the negative trusts you have given so far really necessary? on: January 28, 2020, 07:17:09 PM
You really are obsessed with me aren't you? This is why I rarely back off people like you, because even when I do they still can never let their obsession go. Maybe you can regale us all with the story of how I left you that neutral rating that one time. The problem with your logic is you might know to ignore those frivolous ratings and that I am safe to trade with, but new users, a large percentage of my trade base don't. As a result those abusive ratings have a direct impact on my ability to trade even though they are left for dumb shit like accusations of "trolling" or stories about "trust abuse". The trust system is still used to punish people for criticizing certain members on a daily basis and no one kicks them off the DT.

Ehmmm... Sorry to interrupt here but I guess there's no need to go nuts here because he's given an example here and even when I checked your ratings, I can see a +31 / =5 / -3, so 10 times the green trust and you are still in a condition where none of the new people would suspect you that you'll scam 'em away. I know you're talking about some of your personal issues but there are many good ratings in your list which can defend you in your case.
1854  Other / Meta / Re: Are the negative trusts you have given so far really necessary? on: January 28, 2020, 06:34:10 PM
--snip--

There have always been allegations of trust abuse by DT members, but the fact is if that happens those DT members would be called on it and probably would be kicked off DT via exclusions by other DT members.  TECSHARE is actually one example of that happening (years ago), but there have been others too.

I'm comfortable with all the negs I've left for members, which mostly deal with account sales.  But back in 2017-18 before the merit system was launched, I was leaving negs for shitposters because there were no other tools available to combat them.  I was never comfortable doing that and ended up removing all of those feedbacks after the merit system came along.  If you're on DT, you have to be careful about leaving either positive or negative trust just because of the weight it carries.  Hopefully new DT members realize this and act accordingly.

I like people like you who actually either change or remove trust feedbacks whenever needed, but there were people on DT and some are still on DT who went dormant after leaving negative feedbacks and not coming back to the forum. I know that their feedbacks shouldn't really be a priority for them to come on the forum, but then, such feedbacks completely ruin an account if their negative trust is either baseless or is not relevant anymore to what they were given it for. Let's say someone defaulted on a loan a few years before and you leave a red tag to him back then, but he manages to repay it by time and settles it with the lender, shouldn't it be your responsibility to either remove your rating or neutral tag him? But if you are too busy in your real life and can't come online, who will take the responsibility to counter tag that person or exclude you from their list so that the borrower's account doesn't get wasted?
1855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to get genuine windows 10 ISO and why? on: January 28, 2020, 06:13:45 PM
@Loganota Who cares about what Microsoft thinks? It is for the users! Just like @TryNinja suggested. It's better to be running non-activated windows from its original source rather than installing/downloading it from an unknown source! This is the whole point of this thread... smdh!!  Undecided

@nickenburg that only applies if you were running the original version of Windows 7, this doesn't apply to cracked versions.

So if I'm running a pirated Windows 10 and not an older version and never had any such older version installed on my laptop before, I hold the eligibility to get that Windows 10 beta upgrade for free? Or I won't even be able to use it without any key?
1856  Economy / Reputation / Re: All a matter of “opinion”. on: January 28, 2020, 06:03:57 PM
You're missing the argument again.
No one here is arguing YoBit isn't a scam.

I don't get the point of discussing all this when you were warned at first and allowed a day to stop promoting X10 banner. It is obvious that people who went there seeing your signature would definitely not be the ones who were aware about Yobit's investbox scam. And about X10, did you see that it just exhausted completely and there are no buyers for it even at 1 sat now? I have also seen fake volumes and not just that, there were some players in their dice area who make bets of BTC0.5, BTC0.7 and such big bets without proof that the bets were provably fair, you can't even see your bets available anywhere on the site and I've never seen my old bets' logs. The usernames remain similar each day and they look to be their own members or bots no matter what, but I don't know how Yobit is managing to have its exchange up and running even after having no proof of coins popping up through their ICO/IEO but there are still people who trust them and I don't know the base that's making them believe that Yobit is not scamming/will not scam.
1857  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: January 28, 2020, 04:58:21 PM
This is my first Plinko gambling site I've ever played !
I was so amaze that they rebuild and revolutionized the site better.

Absolutely recommend for who seek the Plinko Gaming  Cheesy

I had been a fan of luckybit since it came into existence, can't forget those big wins, chat bot rains with exceptional amounts to users just for giving correct answers to the questions asked by bot, as well as those big winners sharing some piece of their win to some lucky members available there when that win was made. Can't wait to see all the action back, but I guess we'll probably miss out on big numbers this time considering that BTC is very high in value and the old big users like Jabra are just enjoying the fruits they reaped during those old days. Has anybody experienced the chat bot rains again these days after this new version of LB was launched?
1858  Other / Meta / Re: Are the negative trusts you have given so far really necessary? on: January 28, 2020, 04:12:54 PM
Stop abusing the forum and you won't be "unfairly accused".

Please don't mind when I try to point this out, but isn't it true that there were DTs who abused their authority of giving bad trusts by trying to show their power on the forum through false/baseless accusations? I don't want to get involved in all this drama anymore because the trust system became too obsolete that even theymos had to come up with a new thing we now see as "Trust flags". TBH, I only see the best in the interest of an individual to have a trust list maintained here, though it doesn't make any difference at first but once a DT (of any depth) is proven wrong, this might turn out to be a win-win situation for that person who was accused either due to jealousy or baseless assumptions.

There was a news in mid 2015 and even one of my friends told me about this (though I don't know if it's still a fact or not), that if you download a Windows 10 beta – build 10130 – it can be upgraded automatically for free to the full Windows 10 Home retail version. I don't know if this still works or not as I am going to install it too because my current Windows 10 OS is a pirated one and I don't want to risk my coins by using the same pirated OS.

Their mouth has been shut to see that there's a good thing happening on the market again that's why we cannot see them up posting some negative insights about the current situation of BTC, but hopefully we can reach to another ATH since for sure those haters will became supporter and they will throw out their doubts about the strength of bitcoins.

Though not showing up, hate is still inside them. This time, for losing the opportunity as Bitcoin, on every single stage of hatred proved them wrong each time they said that this thing is going to die. Remember when everyone went negative while BTC came down from $20k ATH to $3k? Thanks to their hatred we now have this name of BTC being spread like wildfire because even if some people lost, Bitcoin is today 300% higher than it's low we faced in 2019. Those who learnt a lesson and moved on by investing in BTC may be the ones who could have recovered a substantial amount of BTC, and there still seems a chance that if you buy BTC at its current price of ~9k at the time of writing this and hold till halving, I believe that this could easily return you around 50% above your capital considering that it reaches $13500.
