1781  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: February 25, 2020, 02:10:37 PM
India or Indonesia?

That's Indonesia exactly. IN is for India.

@OP, it's not about racism but they stopped users from these countries possibly based on the stats they've got on their dashboard which would have shown that most of the comments are coming from those countries as well as a lot of them (after being moderated) are considered to be low-quality or spam as shown in their message. They belong to Russia, at least you should thank that they have allowed other countries too instead of keeping it limited to RU only. But yeah, to what I've seen and known about Yobit and cryptotalk, I think they'll definitely allow these countries some time later (maybe) or the best option was already told by suchmoon - VPNs.
1782  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinBangladesh.org a local bitcoin forum for Bangla speaking community on: February 25, 2020, 01:57:57 PM
Not many Bangali users are in here and the only reason is that they do not have good English writing/reading and understanding skills. I hope BitcoinBangladesh.org will fill the gap and will serve the local bitcoin community.
I have a feeling that's the case in general [lack of Bengali users] since your government [or banks] consider it to be "illegal [unfortunately]". How are you planning to drive traffic towards your forum?

I think that you need to be courageous to work out things about BTC and be very frank when you talk about it. Even in India (still having a lot of lack of Indians to follow up with the correct definition of this technology and its proper use), we had a case ongoing between RBI and IAMAI and the result has been pending since 2 years and I guess more to go, but still we have got a community here that discusses a lot about BTC - everything highly knowledgeable as well as on-topic and we are even trying to gather more and more users in that section and are successful to some extent. There's nothing impossible to achieve, all we need is the will to start.

We are open for any suggestion and support to make the community a successful and stronger.
~Snipped~
If you are not a Bangla speaker- do not worry, we have international section and I hope you will help us with your knowledge too.
You might want to consider changing the purpose of that section into something that can help attract traffic [e.g. Other tech stuff so you can promote it in multiple places]...

I think that some speculation games that we have on Indian board and more competitions where some rewards are given to the community for their contributions (even honor is enough for the brave) are good ideas to bring more Bengali members to their community and participate in the giveaways and/or discussions.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 18, 2020, 11:48:03 PM
--snip--

- Even after watching your thread, many people can't control their emotions and so, they just go with the flow and get into the trade and they regret later
That's exactly what's going to happen, because usually people have to learn from their own mistakes and don't follow advice like OP gave.  If they did, there wouldn't be mistakes being made constantly.

While said that, we also can't deny the fact that if they'd learn by the mistakes, then nobody would lose and for some to win, someone has to lose - that's the main agenda of trading (I know you know better than me hehe). For the 5% of winning traders to win, 95% has to lose and those who don't understand the message behind OP's post are the ones who can't sit calmly and do whatever they can to just "ruin their capital and end up getting busted" - these are the ones who fit in the "95% losers" category because winners know their limitations as well as keep patience while noobs don't pay attention and they just regret after realizing that they've already lost everything.
1784  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BountyPortals] Looking for partners on: February 18, 2020, 11:34:21 PM
I am also interested in marketing management and SEO for your projects, is it possible we may talk over telegram or some other social media where you remain active nowadays? I'd like to get an in-depth view of your projects and understand what are your needs exactly, and we may start doing business together. Smiley
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: February 18, 2020, 11:22:33 PM
--snip--
In this case, the more plausible scenario is that the CSW is a fucktwat scam artist that just makes shit up and throws spaghetti at the wall until something might stick, and in that regard, it does not matter hardly at all to speculate in a way that attempts to cause CSW to appear anything less than narcissistic and/or deluded in regards to what he knows or might know.

He has become a sensation no matter what we are speaking about him here or anywhere - at least he is in the talks which means he is something an important topic to discuss about. That's what he wants and that's what we're giving him - utter importance to a debate about a non-sensical scammer trying to gain fame by endorsing himself as Satoshi no matter even if he gets fucked in his face, he'd still not stop himself claiming that he is SN, yes he is a SuNky dude who can't resist the fame this Bitcoin thing could get to anyone who could actually prove that he/she is Satoshi.
1786  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: importing seed to another wallet on: February 18, 2020, 11:12:01 PM
I'd suggest you create a new seed using either the Ian Coleman tool, or Electrum. Then use that as your back up or where you send all your new coins to.

Anything that is proprietary, you risk losing access to your coins if the seed format or word list is not supported anymore.

So that means that if I keep a backup of an HD wallet that allows me to use a new address every time to maintain my privacy while still having coins in that wallet and I leave it as it is, and I come back after ~15-20 years and see that the new wallet doesn't support the old keys, should I consider my BTC to be gone forever? Do I also need my private key/s during that time? Won't the backup seed work?
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 18, 2020, 10:55:58 PM
@Kakmakr, your initiative is great and mentality is awesome, but it's all about China and their control and whatsoever will happen, they can't and won't let their power slip out of their hands into a digital asset which cannot even be touched. Your thinking is quite different and impressive about BTC and how it could save lives, but they'd not prefer to pay fees in BTC instead of trying to save a lot these days knowing the fact that all types of businesses in China are stalled and they are yet to face the worst - after coming out of Corona virus.
1788  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the most fastest, reliable and secure Bitcoin Mixer for 2020? on: February 18, 2020, 10:47:05 PM
Chipmixer - a tried and tested mixer with no glitches at all and 0 fee transactions (except if you want to donate, you can either add a change or see their donation address on their website). The poll itself shows that Chipmixer is the one and only King in terms of mixing your coins and get them delivered to you almost instantly.
1789  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Uptrend Broken on: February 18, 2020, 10:36:58 PM
We have already been talking about these things in a different thread where one of the worst predictions has been made by Tone Vays

I also thought that BTC, if risen like a star - will become a shooting star too as it has shown in each leg (as described in my comment in the link - check chart by exstasie). I believe this to be the final leg where we will probably see the cheapest BTC (for now) and then it'll finally explode to the new ATH levels (nobody knows where but possibly me - $25k) and then come back to $18250. I don't see any reason why I'd call it an uptrend broken as it was just a small, needed correction for us and it has already been recovered.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 18, 2020, 10:11:53 PM

Haha, I have this positive feeling that the decision that'll be taken would be a positive one (allowing banks to deal with users that operate with bitcoin). Just someday, it'll be legal and you and other Indians would experience more of the blockchain technology! 😉

Yeah, we literally do everything hidden under the fear of either getting jailed or just scrutinized for hiding taxes that could have been paid, but when something is not being seen as legal and they are only trying to criticize then, we felt like we've lost the right to move our own money wherever we want to (now appreciating Blockchain and cryptocurrencies too). What does BTC give to us? It gives us freedom to move our money from our place to anywhere in the world where the recipient accepts it, at the cost of a lollipop (or even less) and we even do it, but getting scared every single time we transact which is something any citizen of any country wouldn't expect.
1791  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AML Compliance Specialist for centralized cryptoexchange on: February 18, 2020, 09:48:59 PM
Absolutely not, hiring an AML specialist with no experience could put an exchange and its users in danger as if any wrong step is taken by the AML specialist or if there is any lapse. But yeah, someone with an experience in doing both the AML and KYC checks should definitely be given priority amongst those applying because it is a job of utter responsibility and hard work, lapse are least expected in this area of work.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 18, 2020, 09:29:31 PM
I'm from India and we're having a case filed between two big organizations - RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and IAMAI (Internet And Mobile Association of India) about the legality and regulatory status of BTC. It has taken around 3 years already for them to decide whether or not to allow the banks to deal with those who own or deal in cryptocurrencies, I'm eagerly waiting for some day when I'll see my country having lots of BTC ATMs where I will be able to convert my BTC and withdraw my fiat without the need of any mediator or even a buyer.  Undecided
1793  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood undeservedly post me red trust on: February 18, 2020, 09:03:50 PM
@AdolinWolf, while you described about Yobit, I'd like to say that Yobit is at least thousands of times better than coinsbit and even after having fake volumes on Yobit exchange, they still manage a very big community as well as we can still sell our coins there (at a bit loss of course) but that's not the case with coinsbit. Coinshit should be the name of their exchange (hey exchangesupport, what will you call me now - a defamatory baboon?) as I've seen many members getting scammed of their promo I've already talked about.
1794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 18, 2020, 08:54:25 PM
My take on this is as follows:
- You try to ask and convince people not to repeat those silly mistakes
- Too many threads, your thread gets ignored
- Even after watching your thread, many people can't control their emotions and so, they just go with the flow and get into the trade and they regret later and that's because their state of mind has been kept as it is and those who follow some trading channels will surely be willing to "become rich overnight" by following them and not you, you will be overlooked by them and your advice will be overruled.
1795  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + PONZI SCHEME !!! on: February 18, 2020, 08:35:49 PM
They also had some recent promo where you were going to get around $200 worth of coinsbit (2000 CNB) tokens and some 50% share (extra 1k CNB) tokens for each successfully verified friend referred by you. I don't know how many people fell for that shit but I believe that the number won't be less than a 100k users at least who tried to get into their shitty promo which didn't even give its users the amount of coins as promised even after giving our KYC documents to them.
1796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: February 18, 2020, 08:20:27 PM
I didn't get this thing that whether you were trying to help us know about such book or you were endorsing about it? /jk

Anyways, I think that people are lazy enough to take time to read even a 100 pages book, then this one is a thousand-pager. Nobody will understand the true concept behind the book if they don't read it fully and that complete reading happens in very rare cases where the reader has some interest in that field, else noobs should not even look for these. Another thing is, I prefer experience over reading and attending any seminars at a certain age. With that said, I had a reason I'd like to share - your experience as a child may be small but being an adult, you can learn a lot on your own. I know that mistakes should not take place in these things but without mistakes, you won't learn and experience what to do and what not to do. Reading experience is of some time while your real life experience that you enjoy, remains forever with you. Trading is a tough job, and crypto trading is even tougher.
1797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: February 18, 2020, 07:44:04 PM
@Op, old days have gone. Have you bought Eth when you were watching strong dips? Waves? Freak man even Siacoin (SC) has more than doubled in a day itself. Crying will leave you in heaven while you watch others taking advantage of the opportunity and bang it on. Don't waste your time anymore these days as such are the days of making money, the alt season could spindly swindle many who think they are masters while those having patience will likely be rewarded with some possible 10x and even a 100x. Whatever has come down needs to go up to maintain its credibility in the markets and even the worst shitcoins will see a gradual spike in their prices seeing that the whales have gone wild now after accumulation phase has been over.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: February 18, 2020, 07:33:53 PM
I believe there could be a space carved up for bitcoin, we could make the economy work with bitcoin helping close the gap as well.

Bitcoin is a technological improvement on what we already have right now, centralized currencies are giving only few people some power and we do not want that, nobody really wants that, however with bitcoin everyone has the power or at least we say it like that yet when you think about it if world powers get together they could completely destroy bitcoin as well.

If China and USA alone just decided to ruin bitcoin they have enough money and power to just spend billions of dollars into research and then attack bitcoin together in a coordinated way to destroy it, they may make some people very very rich along the way but at least they could destroy it. So, we have to learn to coexist or the future doesn't look bright.

It isn't only in the hands those big anti-Bitcoin bodies to destroy BTC but those bigger wallets. Did you ever think what will happen when the day comes and Satoshi ever decides to dump all his BTC? Worst nightmare, eh?!? But that's not gonna happen because he loves BTC, same way everyone holding BTC and not dumping it have some specific reasons why they are not yet out of the game. Bitcoin is not just good for the economy, but it should also become a part of economics and should be taught as a subject that how something too small, became large to such an extent that even the destroyers are not willing to destroy it because they are reaping the real benefits of Bitcoins - that's the power of Satoshi's fantastic creation.
1799  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays Stands by $4K Bitcoin Price Pre-Halving Prediction on: February 18, 2020, 06:55:31 PM
Looking for bulls to stop shorts from breaking key level at $9400 else we may see a $8600 BTC as I predicted earlier in this thread which is the only price I see possible as the least.
This is a realistic price for correction and in a worst situation it might go down to $7200 , even during the last rally i do not remember having a huge correction before the big rally, we had periodic correction with each resistance and usually pumps above and i am not expecting the same rally like we had last time but i am not expecting the market to have a huge correction either.

Just like exstasie determined in his 1D chart, I'm waiting for the last leg (6th leg if you can clearly see in the charts) before an explosive rally takes place towards $25k as the Golden Cross indicates. Though, for that to happen, I'm still thinking that BTC needs to come down to get a new support for that leg and a newer higher low which will establish a pattern that will clear all our doubts and show some optimism in the markets.
1800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: managing capital in day trading on: February 18, 2020, 06:21:01 PM
I think 5% profit margin on any coin is enough considering the fact that you know about the risks and wicks too, while setting a loss of that 5% is the max you may afford to lose. I know that the RR will be worst here but if you are interested in money management, then this would work to be the best (if you know where you're putting your bets on).
