2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: July 12, 2017, 11:46:06 AM
The token distribution starts at July 16 ?

About that time-period, though I'm not very sure as the
last time I checked they said 3weeks after the crowdsale ended or 'mid-july' .
2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 12, 2017, 03:19:15 AM
Conor delivered at the beginning of the conference but I see that Floyd also delivered some of his trash talking and it made Conor uncomfortable. It was very entertaining.

I just makes the match really exciting.
Although Conor's chances rely on him knocking Mayweather out and not letting the decision come from judges scorecards.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: @Philippines An addicted gambler gone wild on: July 12, 2017, 02:48:29 AM
The ironic thing is that he also worked for the department of finance, perhaps he had a way to get more money than a regular person would?
I mean, he's 4 million in debt... Must've been really addicted to have let it escalate like that.

The article doesn't mention if it was 4 million dollars or Philipino currency.
Addicted indeed since he already do criminality stuffs on such addiction. I do believe that his 4 million peso in debt since if you escalate or assume on 4m usd then its really worth for him to steal but sadly he ended up on burning himself. This situation should be pictured out by most gambling addicts out there that treat this as a lesson and they will surely come to this point if they wont stop on playing excessive gambling.

It is Philippines Peso. No amount, not even a billion can worth more than the lives of those who died. This that happened is the reason why casinos should also be implementing the law for responsible gaming wherein gamblers who tend to be very hooked should be limited or banned in the first sign of addiction.
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: July 12, 2017, 02:31:51 AM
I think bitcoin can disappear the bank. But it needs a lot of time. I am sure that one Bitcoin will take the place of bank.

The functions of a bank cannot be performed by bitcoin alone. What we need is a better banking system that is open for platforms being introduced just like bitcoin's platform. But I doubt this will happen anytime soon. But banks won't disappear.
2725  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: July 12, 2017, 01:33:30 AM
This is true but somehoe primedice already pass that time when they come into update some feature that is why they keep on giving some great giveaway in order to gather people around to play on his site.
Your statements are contradicting w/ one another.

Primedice is still the number 1 'bitcoin-only' dice site. And no, they are giving bitcoin just because they can.

Mean while other give good promotions because they need to get more players to try on their site to uodate new feature or other things. Among primedice and other sites there has so much gap

What gap are you talking about?

2727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you teach me please, What is ICO? on: July 11, 2017, 06:54:40 PM
Initial Coin Offering(ICO) means crowdfunding the release of a new cryptocurrency unlike an Initial Public Offering(IPO), acquisition of the tokens does not grant ownership in the company developing the new cryptocurrency and unlike an IPO there is a little or no government regulation of an ICO.
But joining on ICO is very risky you need to background check about their projects and about the coin because other ico are turning to scam after they get the funds from the investors.

Hello,
I like how you post.

Hi guys

Quick reminder, the second Heroes promotion is ending tomorrow in case you want to qualify for the prizes.

The promo was published on the blog and the forum, https://forum.primedice.com/topic/25159-heroes-for-a-week-again-double-prize/#comment-106255

It is a nice promo though some may have been trying to do a work around so one can be up in terms of reputation.
Even if you only can give reputation once a day. Just my thoughts.

Just wanna share my newest winning at Fortunejack, it is a 0.05mbtc bet and I won 50mbtc or x1000 of my initial bet. My best hit so far even though not my biggest win on slot games.

Congratulations m8, enjoy your winning!

Sweet!
I guess marlboroza we both have that same dilemna.
When I lose my balance, I try it with play money yet it is very hard to hit.

Congrats bitinity.

Hello ICObro,

I have received my payment although it is half less than what I expected. If I am right, I have posted more than 50 because I wanted to promote the project. On top of that I made sure that every post I made was according to the guidelines.

Pls. Check.

Sorry for flooding this thread, I just want to clarify things about the rules and regarding payments. In my 51 posts, after double checking them today(I manually copy-pasted my post 1 by 1 on a Word document to be sure about the character count), I just found 3 posts that doesn't fall into the requirements to be counted. 0.00207 is not a big amount but I want what I signed up for. Again, if I am mistaken, can you please enlighten me.

P.S.

As you can see on my quoted post above, I have asked for clarification yesterday. Also PMed ICObro, did not get an answer. Then I saw he just posted here but did not answer. I understand that some may have been banned because of spamming and other reasons.

Pls. Enlighten me

Coin_win nor Icobro failed to correct this. Perhaps you Bitcoin_BOy$ can also look at this. Thanks.
2734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: July 10, 2017, 03:38:39 PM
What is the average time for the tokens to be listed in an exchange right after a crowdsale? I do not think Civic has mentioned of a definite timeline on when CVC will be listed and in what exchanges.

They will deliver our tokens on July 16th. I would think they will be listed on an exchange within a week after that.

this project is long time project ,so don't mind it can be listed on exchange or not short period

Long preparation that yielded a very succesful outcome.
Unlike other coins that sprouted like a mushroom.
Having it listed on exchanges will just broaden good result of civic.

During the last 100000 rolls before the 12Billionth roll,  the rolls are as usual but by the 50k mark, I did not know what happened. It came very quick. And when the rolls passed 12B, a shower of Burst from the generous Baryom. 10days and we should be at the 13B mark if we continue at this rate.

Im guessing burst bets are eligible for this too?

Any bet is counted. Bitsler Owner guarantees a 0.01 prize no matter how much you bet.

Which I think can be improved. Instead of the exact roll hit, if the bet was below the minimum amount per guidelines, Bitsler will look for the next eligible roll.

2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you teach me please, What is ICO? on: July 09, 2017, 08:20:29 PM
When we are talking about an ICO (initial coin offering),
I think there are 2 major types of ICO:
Crowdfunded projects and Altcoin.

Crowdfunded ICOs(Betking for example)
what they're actually doing is really just creating shares. Each coin represents the percentage of the site/project ownership or future profits. With this in effect they are selling part of their company in exchange for money (in bitcoin/Altcoin) to expand/market etc.

Altcoin, I do not know a lot yet. Let others tell us more.
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: doge 0.01 cent possible ? on: July 09, 2017, 08:03:35 PM
What can you tell about doge coin in long term ?
I am sorry but your post should be posted here :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=224.0

I have had some Doges and held them for a year. Around a 100k doges that I have held for 6-7 months and the price back then plays at 23sats a coin.

Should've kept it longer I guess.
2740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 ICO Profit / Loss on: July 09, 2017, 07:56:03 PM
ICOs are designed so that if you buy on the first day you mathematically end up being in profit. But even without the bonuses, yeah, he would end up being in profit, and very nicely.
Depends on which ICO he invested in. A serious investor would not invest in just any random project.

That's not how math works. There are no guarantees with ICOs.

True. There isn't a sure ICO investment. If one claims to be a no-risk investment, well that is scam for sure.
