2201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is twitter a good source of info? on: November 15, 2019, 12:30:33 PM
of course you can get good information from twitter, preferably the latest.
But this is not on the whole there can always be false information and spamming of the same.
you can easily choose the social networks from which you obtain information, and not just one but more sources of information. According to my recommendations I use facebook information from selected profiles, which are trusted by me.
Indeed, I actuall get the news about my coins in twitter, every coin now has their official account , a reliable one they tweet their lastest update there as well as the currenct status, listing and change in their plan. I can really trust twitter in gathering source and info. I trust twitter than facebook in this such thing.
Every project has got their official Twitter that gives regular updates about their projects. Most of the cryptocurrency investors always look for the official Twitter updates. Illegitimate projects won't give regular updates regarding the progress of the projects. These days people are much into reddit than Facebook and Twitter for information related to different altcoins and other crypto projects.
But even scam projects are using twitter to give updates and tweets false information to make their community listen to all their lies.
Not all information in the twitter is trusted, using social media is no longer guaranteed to get legitimate information. I do agree with using Reddit since it is known as a reliable source of information, there is a reference where the information was found and any details that will prove the legitimacy of the information.

Lol of course investors should know the risk investing. Why would you invest all your money if you know that there is no guaranteed that your money will grow  thats suicide idea. Yoi can invest in bitcoin 5 -10 % of your money but dont use it all.
That's right, there is no investor that will invest all of their money with no guaranteed return of when and how long will it take. Investors should think of the possibilities they might face after they invest and its circumstances. Investment should be done by realizing and analyzing your investment, using a small percentage of your money as you said is a good idea to minimize losses and to at least control yourself and avoid investing too much.

2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: November 14, 2019, 11:20:25 AM
from the beginning I had thoughts like that. I initially thought this would happen and expect the famous game to adopt the blockchain. I am a lover of FPS games (frames per second). I spend half of my time playing this game, initially I wanted to sell items in the game using / transactions with crypto assets, but I remember that in certain countries prohibiting transactions with crypto assets.

I'm sure these 4 games if you accept / adopt this blockchain technology are very good news and crypto will grow significantly.
There are so many volumes of gamers around the world, and your thoughts may become true if this really happens.
I am also a gamer and I can't still imagine its effect in the gaming industry and its effect on the crypto world, we should expect positive and a negative effect once this was implemented.
2206  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: November 14, 2019, 07:00:49 AM
If looking at the market or looking in the chart will not give you any hints on the possible outcome in the cryptocurrency prices then what is the sense of technical analysis and why it is widely use by almost all of the traders in different market not just in cryptocurrency? Technical analysis is such a huge help because it gives them ideas on what type of move should they execute in order to make profit.
I think what he mean is that, looking at the chart is not enough to complete market analyzation. There are more consideration needed to predict the possible market movements. Analyzing the market chart is helpful but doing only this will not complete your own market research/analysis.

Do you Believe Exchange Volume of the Coinmarketcap?
Also Do you believe exchange volume?
I think all the exchanges are fake!!!
Not exactly, there are reports already been made about that.
You can check here : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/annacorradi/2019/07/23/has-top-cryptocurrency-website-coinmarketcap-completely-given-up-on-data-accuracy/amp/
And the owner of the website is already working on it and trying to fix the problems about this matter.

2209  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 13, 2019, 10:37:04 AM

With so many controversies arising from this tech giant's ambitious actions, we never truly asked the most important question.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?
Of course, everyone I think will try to use Libra coins, People are still curious about the concept that will be embedded in the Libra project later. I personally will use the Libra coins later as my experiment. Although currently they continue to be hit by negative issues but I am sure the Libra project will be successfully launched.
Maybe for experiment but for the long run using Libra is just simply wrong. Imagine using a coin from someone who has violated your privacy in the past I will definitely no trust such company to have all my identities and my money aswell considering that if Libra is really going to be released in the future regardless of the government backlash they will possibly requesting people to verify their account using ID and any other important data which is basically the same as asking for trouble.
It makes sense, it is true that it will be hard to trust a company that once violated the privacy law which is already forgotten in the past. It will be hard if this will happen again in the libra project. But who knows, we can at least use libra in some way.
Using Id's, you mean KYC? I think it is expected to request their community to undergo KYC, which becomes the reason for many investors to avoid it.

Poker is in a big percent skill-based, that's why you see some people constantly winning at Poker. Talent and learning strategies & risk management principles are a must in Poker pretty much like in trading. If I would be skilled and confident on me at that specific game I would certainly join the table as I usually don't back up from any challenges.

because poker is skill-based I will join him because winning in a row means that he has a good strategy, it's like a free money Cheesy
whereas if based on luck, it's better to fight him because there's no someone in a row will get luck all the time.
Luck has still something to do with poker player even though it is a skill based game. The luck that I've been talking about is the sequence of the cards. Although the only way that a professional player will lose if they were being deceive by their opponent when bluffing. So that means the luck is on his side.

I'd rather join with him he's too lucky but not in the poket because that's against with him. If I have to defeat one lucky gambler, I might have to look at the person first before trying to join because I know that somehow I still have chance to win.

when your opponent bluffing this is your strategy to play, whether you will be carried away by your opponent, or you fold, or you can also follow until 3 cards are opened, then you can determine. About luck in poker is when you have a good card then you ALL in and this is where the luck happens.
But how can you determine if your opponent is bluffing, it will be hard.
Unless you have a good card in your hand to fight even if he is bluffing.
Waiting for the flop to determine the next action will be the best trick to see and measure your chances of winning.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 13, 2019, 05:57:15 AM
the worst thing I did the most was stealing my mother's money under the bed, after that she felt lost and accused me of taking the money.
it's better to steal money from other people but not your own mother or your parents, that's unacceptable.
No, there is no such thing as you said. Stealing with other people will never be better. It is something that people should stop doing. It has no difference in stealing money from his own mother.

without clear evidence he knows I took it, because gambling can make people do the same desperation as drugs if it is not met then it will find a shortcut so that desire is fulfilled, from here I learn if gambling must be stopped by yourself by way of away from places and friends who often gambling.
I will tell you, that will be in your conscience forever, stealing is not good especially to those who struggle financially.
Look what gambling have made you, that's because of being irresponsible and not doing the right thing to spend only what you can afford to lose.

if you know how to accept your loses, you wouldn't do that big mistake.
His conscience after stealing the hard-earned money of his own mother. Even after so many years, his sin will still remain deep in his mind and his heart. Gambling should not be done with addiction, once it was exposed, it should stop right away.
Accepting losses can easily be done, however, the experience will remain and never get back those days even he regrets it.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 13, 2019, 03:54:22 AM
I’m still a bounty hunter accumulating good tokens not the shit  Grin and I’m willing to wait. But I believe once the space is more regulated crypto will become more an ideal place to make descent income, however despite the low morale of ICO’s nowadays there are still genuine projects that are worth joining a campaign.
You are bounty hunter but joining with Yobit signature campaign, maybe you are looking instant payment and have know how much btc received every day than joined with bounty campaign without know when listing and distributing. I will joining bounty campaign although altcoin season not come soon, for me joining bounty campaign is best way how to earn free altcoin.
He is just doing another task since bounty hunting is not profitable anymore. I don't see anything wrong with that. Whether he is looking for an instant payment or not, as long as his task was done properly, it is all good to be part of any campaign.
So, you are saying you are also joining bounty campaigns, then why telling someone that he is looking for instant payment? Then you are also doing the same thing as you said to him Wink
This guy is right 👆. As of the moment I paused joining bunch of campaigns and focusing on more profitable which is the Signature. But will join bounties again if ICO’s are in good shape again but more selective.
A lot of users are doing the same thing, and it is a common thing to look for another task to do. But I don't think that bounty campaigns will come alive again, maybe another kind of offering will come and that will serve as a new source of bounty campaigns. If there will be a regulation to stop scam projects, then bounty campaigns will surely make its comeback.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 12, 2019, 05:07:09 PM
Not a good idea for me and it is much better tk accumulate more bitcoin than altcoins and it aill surely go down once bitcoin's value rises up again and right now it is heading down maybe 8200 or below than that and might see a bounce back.

And its better to buy an altcoins when the value of bitcoin rises up and it is still going down then that's the best time to take advantage of the market.

If you're looking for short or even mid term profit, I will still go with BTC.

The thing with alts though is that they're cheap right now, so if you are a mid-tier investors here, you can spread out your money and play around with some top altcoins and see how it goes. Of course, you shouldn't expect something big to happen this year, the game changer will be in coming years because we all know that the market will not go on a long bearish trend without even a good bounce or recovery.
Even in the long term, BTCitcoin is one of the best options, and use altcoins as a short or mid-term investment.

As for me, any type of investor can do short, mid, or long term investment. You can invest as long as you know what you are doing, playing or getting along with the flow of the market is easy for an experienced investor.
Crypto is unexpected, you can't say that we should not expect anything or something big to happen this year, anytime by now the flow of the market may change.
2215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: November 12, 2019, 02:09:44 PM
There's no bitcoin payment in Lazada, but what I think Wintersoldier meant to say is shopee, since they are almost the same. That's what I guess, haha. Shopee is the biggest online shopping app that is accepting bitcoin here in the Philippines (That's what I know, please correct me if I am wrong).

I've visited shopee, and have checked to see if they are really accepting bitcoin as payment.

The answer is NO.
shopee do not accept bitcoin as payment, the same goes with lazada. They only accept COD, Bank transfer, Online banking, remittance/payment center, etc.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: which exchange should I use? on: November 12, 2019, 01:23:20 PM
Your asking here like a newbie and you own that ethereum address? Seems like you are joking. With that amount for sure you already know the trusted exchanges  I think that's an exchange address and not yours. Anyways Binance is the most trusted now like everyone says.

That is the most surprising about OP, he stated where he can sell his funds, which has a million-dollar amount on it.
Gathering lots of money like that can't be done by a newbie, only an experienced trader/investor can do that. For sure he should know exchanges for that.

If im not mistaken its bithumb global eth wallet    Grin

How did you determine that this is the bithumb global eth wallet? Can you provide us a link as reference?

2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will You Do To Recover Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2019, 09:52:14 AM
In 2010, you came across a site that was giving away bitcoins. The site said it was free money so you signed up. You were logging in to figure out how it was money but couldn't. The last time you logged in you had more than 100 bitcoins. Later you forgot about the site until 2017 when a ponzi was advertising Bitcoin. Bitcoin? The name rang a bell and you stated hearing stories. You remembered you must have many bitcoins  somewhere but you can't even remember the name of the site. How would you recover your BTC?

There is a strong probability that the site where the 100 Bitcoin can be located is already dead or gone therefore it would already be impossible to retrieve them. When a person can not remember anymore the site where digital assets can be stored then the retrieval process can not commence, this is just a very important common sense. This is the reason why one must have a book or a record of the things he has registered with, who know years from now something can come up and there is a need to review the records. Now, the lessons in this story can be applied whether one is involved in cryptocurrency or not, online or not.
It's true, it would be impossible but who knows. Maybe the website is still there and retrievable. If he may be able to remember every detailed information, he will be lucky to retrieve every piece of his funds.
But there is also a chance that the website is already dead. If this happens, no more ways to withdraw the fund and will be put to waste.
2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 12, 2019, 08:53:55 AM
Some of these bounty owners might not even be aware of what the trust system is all about.  They should, but they might now.  Or even worse, they might not care as long as they can get as many members as possible to advertise for them.  I don't trust these project devs at all, but I would trust them even less (were that even possible) if they allow red trusted members to join their bounties.  It's bad business practice and the fact that they don't care makes me question how serious they are about their projects.

That's correct and that's why they should be contacted, the things explained and asked if this was intentional or a mistake.
I mean that there should be the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
new developers who don't have experience or don't have a lot of lunge in project promotion, always don't care about redstrust participants, because the most important thing for them is that many participants are involved and can attract other users. that is normal in ICO advertising, it is important that users are more selective if they want to join such a project. what else do they plan to register token on the Dcoin exchange? isn't the Dcoin exchange very shady?
It is expected if the project's only goal is to get their project to be promoted and nothing else than that.
They do not limit their participants just to make their project reach every corner of this forum including social media sites.

I have found a review about Dcoin, and I think it is not a good exchange
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/as0f6y/never_use_dcoin_exchange_they_dont_let_you/
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 11, 2019, 03:23:57 PM
Maybe they still consider it as sake of promotion so many will participate, especially now that bounty hunters prefer to earn with weekly of BTC. Many are no longer attracted in staking bounties since it takes time and not guaranteed. Maybe managers can limit it depending on the number of trust issues or on what it pertains in those account with red if tagged as scammer due to trade or not and explain to developer why it is needed to not accept.
Maybe this is the primary reason, just to focus on the promotion of the project, they disregard and give an opportunity for users with a red tag to participate in their project. They most likely that desperate to expand the reach of their project just to increase their promotion rate and get enough investors for the sake of the success of the project.
