1901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 12:36:17 PM
Borrowing money for gambling, that is not recommended and that is the attitude of an compulsive gambler which normally does not result to our good expectation. Why not just save money to raise a good amount of bankroll so at least if you are not successful you don't have to worry of anything that you will have to pay because you did not borrow that amount, maybe you are just too inspired by the success story of some successful gamblers.
You got the point, this is the least thing that you should do. Borrowing money will not result to any good.
That is the good thing to do, saving enough money or use his extra money to start gambling instead of borrowing money and then gamble it.
Borrowing money is like a double edge sword, it can be favorable or unfavorable depends on the action you may take.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: February 24, 2020, 12:38:55 PM
Not yet,
Since I started gambling I don't experienced anything like that. Even if a lot of people around me knows that I am gambling, they still treat me the same as how they treat me before.
Gambling is not really a big deal in our area, maybe it depends on the location you are in, that is only when it can affect your personal reputation.
1903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons talks about Cryptocurrency on: February 24, 2020, 12:04:00 PM
The last line got my attention because it says "we know who Satoshi is, but we're not telling." I don't know whether to believe this or not because it's just a mere cartoon but this part is really interesting. This episode was already talked on twitter and even the Binance tweet this. I want to look more on the video to look for a hint or something that's related to crypto. What do you think about this episode?

No one knows if this is real or not,
They might only show this to the public just to gather more viewers or anything, we don't know the main reason, or maybe this is real.
It also got my attention since they have predicted more scene in our cuurrent state, that makes me urge to believe that the writer really do travel through time.
1904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 24, 2020, 05:01:11 AM
Is it true? There's a possibility that this is false news since many people wanted to down BTC.

It might result in drastic changes since whales have a great factor in the flow of the cryptocurrency market.

Even if you have expertise in cybersecurity, hackers can get what they want especially if it's a group. That's why it's one of the disadvantages once crypto was adapted to be the main currency or use it as a huge business. One of the results also, people will give negative thoughts about crypto regarding this situation.

We will never know,
But the owner provided a link from his tweet to see the transaction and he is willing to give a reward for whoever can help him. This looks legitimate to me.

And yes, it will really have a drastic effect in the market, this is a huge amount of money and that can drop the price anytime soon.
1905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: February 24, 2020, 04:31:27 AM
There are so many coin out there, Please what do I look out for to make a good choice for investment into any of the coin.
~

Try investing into 2-3 coins including bitcoins, etherum, ripple, etc and gain some experience from these coins first and then you can move onto some other coins having comparatively lower volume. Never forget to check the liquidity first.
Aside from that,
Better to make a research about their products/uses/functions to know if this is applicable for long term or not. There are times that it is better to go for long term that those easy to die altcoins.
Choosing top cryptos like ethereum, ripple and bitcoin will be a better choice, aside from you can learn a lot, you can also experience a lot due to their possible movement in the market.
1906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 24, 2020, 04:01:25 AM
I have never done something like that,
Since I started, never in my life that I think of needing to have a spreadsheet since my country do not prohibits and there is no law that crypto is taxable.

One more thing, if you will show the bank that your money comes from gambling, isn't it be more questionable on your part? Like maybe they keep on asking you to provide more proof than usual.

1910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 10, 2020, 11:29:17 AM
It would be easier to stop gambling when you are winning. Commonly, if you lose, you tend to play more to get your money back. And that will lead you to play more and you won't stop until you are satisfied or win. If you win, you will consider that you should stop so you can prevent from losing in the end.
1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 06, 2020, 09:06:40 AM
this looks something great and cheaper to deal with huh?

you have given me a best idea now how i can put funds to my Sons Wallet ,because i am planning to invest for His Future(of course aside from our funds for him) because we don't know what will happen for tomorrow and having this 1$ a day?thats cool.

i will start it by monday after the payday and will ask my wife to do the thing as i can forget it for sure because of too much work.

Thanks Mate.
This idea will only work with consistency. If you think that you can forget about the things like this, maybe it is best if you do this every week or every payday. Anyways, hope for the best for your sons,  Wink
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 03, 2020, 02:11:05 PM
It depends on the game you are playing,

as for me,
I am more on the outcome. I play games that focus more on luck, so basically, the end result or the outcome is the most important.
There is no need to observe or undergo any process (for me, but it still depends on the player).
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 29, 2020, 09:44:39 AM
I will try my luck, and if I ever win that prize, I will sell it back to their president with a cheaper value, that way the problem awaits me no more. (Maintenance, space to put it, place to use it, and so on) everything will resolved by bringing it back to its former owner.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 29, 2020, 08:54:23 AM

Basing on punch power then Pacquiao had much more compared to Mayweather and i would like to see on how he would deal or bear with that.
Seeing these kind of fights are boring but when people do gets hype then they do consider it out since it would be entertaining on how a mma fighter
would be beaten down by a boxer.Practically, if there were lines to be offered on this one then for sure 100% sold on Pacquiaos side.

My bet will be always on Pacman, I've seen most of his fight, and I admit he is the greatest boxer for me among many others, his skill, strategy and power makes him unique especially his passion in what he is doing, maybe Mayweather won in that game still, I could not agree with that because I like pacman, it is because Pacman shows the good game in that i dont know why does mayweather won their, compared to McGregor, my bet will be on pacman.
Everyone is going to bet for Pacman but don't you realize what odds you will get backing money?
I guess you will not enjoy the odds, probably the odd would be 1.10 for Manny as this fight is a mismatch, if its a done deal soon, it will only for pure entertainment.
Well, Manny is considered a legend in the boxing industry. There is no wonder if that would really be the odd result. But we should not said anything like that since the fight is still far to happen as of now. Mcgregor can still have a chance if you consider the age of Manny, the result is still unknown, and there is a lot of things that might happen if their fight will come.
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 29, 2020, 04:12:41 AM
While BTC and Eth are the ones I used a lot before the surge in both its price and the fees, I later started using XRP for small value bets so to maintain my capital in an effective way with least fees. I am now a fan of XRP and use it mostly to gamble on both dice sites and sportsbooks.
haven't you tried using Dogecoin mate?well we have all love to use currencies as it fits our taste and desire but i think when talking about the fees?it is Doge in which much cheaper.IMO
I think xrp is much favorable nowadays unlike before. Dogecoin is still popular for its old users but for now, I think users now prefer to use xrp due to personal reasons.

Voting for xrp since it's also quick in sending and receiving and also have cheap transaction fee.  Though there are different sentiments
from each gamblers as for me I'm only using amount of money where I'm willing to let go in case luck is not on my side. Using alts
or bitcoin as long as you are enjoying.
seems like there are so many gamblers now that had like XRP using for betting.is there many sites now that accepts xrp also?or still limited?
I think it is still limited, for now there are a few numbers of gambling sites that are accepting xrp.
1916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 12:39:03 AM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.
-No,
-Yes, or more than twice, but it depends on the situation, sometimes I only gamble if I have enough money to play but most of the time I play everyday that is only if I really have a spare money.
-Most of the time, I cannot stop myself, I always end up having zero balance after playing, since I always targeted to win.
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 27, 2020, 09:58:01 AM
I never would have thought that this tragic event will happen so sudden. I woke up seeing news about Kobe's death and I can't believe for what happen to him and his daughter. At first, I thought it was just another lie just to hype the social media, but then I confirmed it later on. Life is really short but he will stay forever in our heart, the legend, Kobe, rest in peace.

What makes is more heart breaking is that he die with her daughter who is also turning out to be a good player like his dad. He just retired from professional basketball and focusing on his daughter. That's why it is really very sad to hear this news, very unexpected.
Think of his wife, the mother of this daughter, he lost his spouse and his beloved daughter at the same time. I can't imagine the pain she's in right now, the stress that might bring negativity in her life.
There are a lot of opportunities are waiting for his daughter, this is really sad that Kobe wasn't able to see the growth of his daughter, and her daughter wasn't able to show to her dad her maximum accomplishments.
1918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 27, 2020, 09:15:57 AM
Everyone wants to get rich and successful in so many ways but unfortunately, I'm not so lucky when it comes to gambling so I don't think it could be the best way for me to reach success. That is the reason why I still grab other opportunities being offered by crypto because I see no guarantee of gaining a sure profit in gambling. I only do gambling for fun but I don't see it as a permanent source of income.
Gambling is not all about luck, if you think that you are not lucky, you can play other games where you can use your skills.
I also think that way at first, but then, I realized that I should stop relying on luck if I am not really lucky. I should consider my skills especially in card games, it is more on skills than luck.
1919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Bounty Hunters are almost alone! on: January 26, 2020, 04:54:35 PM
Sad but that is the reality. They are both different that is why you should not expect the same treatment. In the services section, they are hiring/offering services such as promoting a built-up or already launched project, they don't undergo any crowdfunding, more on coming from their own pockets unlike in bounty campaigns which are really the opposite of it.
1920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you love to see die soon and why? on: January 26, 2020, 03:00:42 PM
Personally, i don't really have a particular crypto coin in mind but I wish all the crypto coins that do not have any specific product or technology solving real problems and gaps in the crypto space and the world in general will just die off. These coins with no technology or product backing them are the reason why the crypto ecosystem is having challenges in terms of mass adoption. They are the source of all the problems seen in the crypto space.
Basically, you are pointing those useless coins which is just a waste in the market, those shitcoins.
I also want that to happen since there is no reason for those shitcoins to stay in the market. For me, they don't even have enough space here but they still keep on increasing. Well, that is all part of the business, that is why, I think it is really impossible to get rid of those.
