2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 25, 2019, 11:44:15 AM
Controlling yourself while gambling is hard, especially if you are enjoying the game from your winnings and if you are experiencing a lose streak that you can't get back all of your lost,
that is obviously Greed is what you are talking about, sometimes the love for money is what brings us failures,so many times that we are already winning but we don't find it enough so the thing is we demand for much more.

No, it is not the love for money, it is the needs and our own mindset of money is all that we need. It drives a person in everything when it comes to money.

that is why a lot of gamblers are greedy and ends up getting addicted to it.
and that is what we need to overcome, not just a controlled mindset but the Lust and Greediness in which part of characteristic and not just an ordinary attitude.
Which is really hard. There are some people who can overcome it, but most of the gamblers, they just end up in the same direction where they will become addicted to it.

I think the best way to control yourself while gambling is by limiting the amount of your money to avoid spending a huge amount of profit and to continue to play.
but if you have no control this is impossible because we will always seek for opportunity to get/provide money to play still.better to prepare our self first before getting into deeper gambling habit.
It will only become possible if there is someone that will guide you and stop you once you can't limit yourself to gambling. Having self-control is hard but with the help of someone dear to you, it will become possible.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 25, 2019, 07:10:52 AM
Online, I'd say crypto. It's easier to just send money to the casino from an exchange. Of course the latter likely also have KYC but when doing stuff online, it's better to not link it directly with your bank account.
Of course, since it is built to make our life easier, and we don't need to take unnecessary actions.
We just have to send our funds in gambling site then after it was confirmed, we can play anytime we want. It is less hassle than to gamble using fiat.
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 24, 2019, 11:48:56 AM
Next bottom has to be below $3k, that's what you need to remember.
If it will happen then so be it Cheesy.

I don't care if it goes at that level since I'm a long term holder of Bitcoin although I'm using some of it to buy some of my monthly expenses and needs. I'm ready whatever happens to Bitcoin whether it goes down or goes up Wink

Same here, actually it is a great opportunity for long term holders like us, so even if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops to an expected price, then we can use that chance to invest and wait for more months to harvest our profit.

before we decide to invest in bitcoin then we should know about bitcoin and look for reliable information about bitcoin, so we will know and be ready with all the risks that might occur including when the market goes down
Well, that is what newbies need to do but unfortunately only few of them are doing it. Maybe some of them are just relying to what they know and they are not doing their own research about it.

We know that every market has ups and downs so this is just a normal move for Bitcoin. Bears are in control at this moment that is why we encountered a sudden price drop in Bitcoin.
That is because the common thing that newbie does was to think about how they earn. They will first see if it is effective then they set aside learning and continue what they are doing.

Yes, this is just a normal scenario in the market for a decade, we don't get in here at the same time, but the history repeat itself, so we all have the same expectation when its price will go up and down.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of some Deflation tokens on: November 24, 2019, 10:44:14 AM
Dynamite token is the next big hyped deflation token today and this token is been listed on good exchanges as well, i won't be surprised if it get listed on huobi or binance because deflationary tokens are way too over hyped and people are rushing them
So does it provide a service or has a product?
As I have done with taking a sight on the information of Dynamite,
they don't have a product but they provide services like for example, community-based and also they are conducting a social experiment.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRADING A SINGLE TOKEN IN BETWEEN EXCHANGES on: November 24, 2019, 06:06:47 AM
Arbitrage trading is very lucrative.  It's an opportunity I have been looking to exploit. The challenge is that most of the arbitrage opportunities I find have very low volume and there is always the risk of the order being picked before you deposit is confirmed since I don't keep my cryptocurrency on exchanges.
Such opportunities always accompanied by risk, there's many points to consider as open opportunities lied with how you understand the market. Keep dealing with your good research and knows the proper way to earned from this strategy. Arbitrage if executed correctly will give decent profits.
Risk is always on the line everytime you invest or do trading but it's true, considering things should be prioritize to at least avoid unnecessary losses. Making research will make you grow and fully understand the things to consider in the market while trading.
Yes, as long as it is done correctly, expected profit will come, if not, the opposite thing will happen and great loss will come at you.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 23, 2019, 04:03:55 PM
This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?

And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?

Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects
to be able to work with binance is very difficult and requires very large funds. There are a lot of requirements given by them. More details, you can visit their website.
It will not be hard if the project is really good and aiming to gather more investors and to raise enough funds. It will be hard in their part but after having those hardships, they will be able to make a good name for their project and if a certain project decided to enter in binance, they won't be having a lot of problems whatever it is if they are really a good project.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 23, 2019, 07:26:51 AM
Yes I can stop whenever I want most of the times and it is become possible for me by staying aware while betting and how much I can afford to lose but we can't say we could always be perfect sometimes our ego wins our self control which happens due to continuous loss or with the intention of taking revenge on rival if its game like poker.
The same goes here, because it's better to know our limits while gambling. We should set a target funds that we can afford to lose, if we take more than that, we can no longer take control of ourself when it comes to playing. We will no longer be able to stop playing once this happen.
2168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam? on: November 22, 2019, 12:30:39 PM
First of all, it isn't very wise for you to have someone else handle your money and trade for you. And it seems like you have little undrstanding of your crypto venture and just let this guy work with your money whichever way he likes. Most of us would recognize this instantly to be a scam. 2 btc at this point is quite a huge amount of money already so you better be careful. Question is, will heed the advice you get here?
OP seems to trust so easily that he was able to let someone handle his money.
You have a point, for us that have been here for too long will easily recognize this as a scam and will not trust someone with our own money, trust is really important and it shouldn't be given to anyone especially to a stranger.

2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 21, 2019, 10:27:32 AM
I will not give a loan in the form of money to a gambler because it is very unlikely to lend money to an unknown person. Especially if the money will be reused to gamble. I don't think anyone would lend it to him. Maybe I would suggest to the gambler to stop while playing gambling, and if there is already a lot of money please to gamble back, but must be ready to lose back.

Even if you know that person who wants to borrow money was your friend, you will think twice to give that money to your friend because you know he already loses in gambling. Maybe it's better to ask him to stop gambling and search for a real job, so he doesn't have to borrow the money for just playing gambling. Borrowing money from other people will give another trouble to that person.
It's hard to decide,
If it is your friend and you know what he has done, you will have second thoughts if you will lend him money. There are things to consider first like asking him what he will do and if does he realize his priorities, the things he needs to do and if he is ready to leave gambling after that.
There's a huge stress that he currently faces after his loss, and I think finding a job will take time since blaming himself will be there, for all those stress to be removed, there should be someone from his loved ones to support and guide him to the right path for that to happen.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 21, 2019, 09:44:42 AM
I think it would be their fast transactions and also a good community a friendly environment or gamblers.
I usually avoid gambling sites which has a KYC policy and also the low house edge would also be something that we gamblers are looking for.

you need to be specific when you say faster transactions  . what you excatly want ? faster deposit or instand deposit ? or do you want instant/fast withdrawals   ?  also , faster transaction can also be refered to how fast the game was or how fast the site was  .  there are sites that lags somehow expecialy on mobile or if your having a lot of tab open on your browser   .  kyc and house edge are also a comon trait that a gambler always request  .
I think what he want to say is, having fast transactions when it comes to deposit and withdrawals. Fast transactions are referring to the transfer of funds and it is self-explanatory, there is no need to be specific. If you refer to how fast a game was, you are referring to easy betting games and for the website, you are referring to its performance.
That is also the common thing that gamblers are looking for, to have an easy transaction, better performance and also for easy betting games.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 21, 2019, 08:52:28 AM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.
There is no need to visit scam accusation, just see the profile's trust rating who created ANN or bounty thread because if a scam accusation was proved then he will get negative tag from multiple DT members.

But when we are not sure then we can see the discussion about few projects.
Visiting the scam accusation section is important, not all scammers are using the same account that was accused of promoting scam projects. Most of the time they are using a newly created account, how are you able to determine if the project you participated with is a scam if there is no trust review for the manager? You still need to visit that section to at least notify not only yourself but also other users who are part of a certain project.

2175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: November 20, 2019, 09:38:01 AM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

It's too early to say something like that.
Even if there are more countries would decide to ban crypto, there are still some chances that their decision will change as time passes by.
It is impossible to control crypto but it is also impossible to ban it in the whole world.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 07:42:28 AM
My point is, politics is never about the truth, but about "public perception." What makes you a gambler? You or other people's opinions? You can keep doing what you do in secret, and keep telling the public that you are "the most honest man ever existed."
Absolutely, politicians always act like they are a saint and yet part of evil on the other side. And even if you change your lifestyle, people that knew you will always have to say about you hence you will look like a hypocrite to others, so what's the point?

Well, there are no pure-hearted people in this world, there are no people to be called a saint. There is always a dark side, and gambling should not be considered as an evil, politicians and public people think of it like that which is wrong.
I do agree. If you gamble, you don't have to change your lifestyle, even if you change it, there are still some people who will judge you and make you look bad in front of other people.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Pay for Odd Jobs With Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 06:57:50 AM
An unemployed dude comes to your house to ask for off jobs, say to throw away your thrash and mow the lawn. You had no cash but he owns a bitcoin wallet and asks to be paid in bitcoins. Would you pay in bitcoin?

Why not? I like to use bitcoin as payment, this is the easiness of technology. even I hope I don't carry fiat anywhere, and only have a bitcoin wallet to pay for everything. because in my country this is very rare, especially bitcoin is not allowed to be used as payment, quite sad, even though bitcoin can make it easier.
The same goes here, as the OP said, he had no cash so he also needs to withdraw and pay additional fees to do that, then why not directly pay the dude. I also prefer to not carry fiat all the time, whether I use CC, Debit or crypto as my payment is fine and less hassle for me.

That is the saddest part of some countries who do not allow the usage of bitcoin, though it will help every people in many ways, there are still some countries that do not allow and continue to avoid adopting it.

Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.
I still don't understand that incident? what affects so that the token is not visible, so you use etherscan to verify it. That way does have a significant risk. Please enlighten me, thank you
Please see the link below, his explanation needs analyzation since it is not clear but once you get to the point you will understand easily.
https://kb.myetherwallet.com/en/common-issues/token-already-exists/
It is hard to explain without any images to serve as an example, maybe this will help to enlighten you.

In myetherwallet you don't need to do that to view your received tokens, you just need entry the token address when you want to sent your token. So, i think it's because you use coinomi wallet so you need to enter the address manually to show the received token
There are some cases, it exists even before especially when bounty campaigns are really popular, tokens needed to add in myetherwallet where you need the information about their coin before it appears in your wallet balance.
This is very common and knowledgeable especially to newbies since they will do it for sure in the near future.
