For the bettors that are with Dota 2 in here, it seems that nobody has shared yet this days old news.

I'm sure that most of us are aware of EE --> EternalEnvy. Well, our meme and anime boy has already declared his retirement and the same as Ryoya.

2742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Firm Voyager Temporarily Suspends Withdrawals, Deposits, and Trading !!! on: July 08, 2022, 09:47:30 PM
They have filed for bankruptcy and what happens to those remaining funds from their customers?
When bankruptcy happens, you only can hope that you belong to customers who will get compensation. That is solely hope.

In order to avoid panic (when crisis happens), uncertainty (when crisis is on-going and not handled) and hopeless hope (when bankruptcy occurs), avoid to store your coins on third party services. If you want to cash out, do it and withdraw your money as soon as possible.

If you store your money on third party sites too long, and feel that you are completely safe based on their past reputation, that contains risk. Black swan events can kill any company and you can be one of victims.
That's really a must when we've started to see those platforms filing their bankruptcy. I guess those customers that still got left on Voyager with their funds really have to wait for their final announcement what shall happen to them with the funds.

I just hope that those that have remaining huge funds on them will be refunded.

And they didn't just filed a bankruptcy but they've got something for those customers that have been with them at their best and still the funds stuck on them.

I've read the news that FTX/Alameda Research has a debt to Voyager of $377m. I guess that will be the compensation for those users that still has fund on Voyager after filing bankruptcy.

2744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top US Energy Company to Explore Bitcoin Mining on: July 07, 2022, 10:48:18 PM
Cloud mining days is long over I believe, there is no more customers to handle, unless they want to make public pools? I guess I do not really get that aspect.
I don't know about anyone else, but for me, i feel over 90 percent of all cloud mining programs were scam, I personally participated in a lot of them and made a lot of money quite alright but unfortunately, I was never able to turn any of those visual money into real money because the platforms i mined  on wouldn't let me withdraw.
Even though very few of the cloud mining platforms were legitimate, majority of them were scam and i believe this is one of the reasons why no body talks about cloud mining anymore.
IMO, they're actually 99%.

Only a very few of them are really legitimate and if you happen to visit those legit ones, most of them are already full and you'll get a hard time seeing one of those slots they give open or vacant.

Well, for these energy companies, they've got the advantage for mining and it'll click to them as profit despite we're in a bear market. I guess they've been so long in studying on it and just publicized it lately.

2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 07, 2022, 09:56:13 PM
As expected, T1 got sweep by Boom even without Skem. T1 still can’t synchronized with Gabbi as Pos1 while Boom and other team on SEA is already well adjusted and mastered already the current patch. I hope they can bounce back again in the next tournament they already loss there chance on majors unless Fnatic lose all there remaining games including against T1.

Outsider former VP already get game 1 against Team Spirit with a very good game performance to control Yatoro. TS has a lot of big skills but they can’t utilize it properly because outsider position is always very good and spread to counter both winter curse and blackhole.
That was a blast for T1, they're like a shocking team that don't even play as division 1. The first game was a mess and it's giving the viewers, us , the idea where they're going.

That's 2-0 for Boom Esports.

Glad that the bookies favoured  T1 though. I got a great odds on Boom -1.5

Anyway Im not sure why are you picking T1 on this game. Boom is a clear favourites when it comes to overall standing and T1 hasnt been really consistent ever since so yeah Im actually happy with the odds and Im glad I took them. Kinda worried a bit when they were playing without the usual roster though but it was all good
I just like their playstyle because they're unpredictable, sometimes they're strong and as you've said, they're inconsistent and that's what I like about them. And because of that, I didn't predict that they're going to be stomped too easily by Boom Esports.  Grin

Congrats to you.

With this match actually it is too hard to make a prediction because we know the capability of T1 with karl, kuku and Gabbi but Boom dominated them in the game one actually bristleback cannot stand with the Terrorblade and because of the KOTL spam with the ember those combo makes a snowball the reason why they losses the game because of too much chase with the game 2 Boom and T1 has a close match in the early game but in the midgame Tims makes a good steal from his rubick signature even though they committed a lot of mistakes with the Rubick and Mars combo still they manage to pick up a kills that's the reason why they got the 2-0 for this series.
While watching the first game, I thought what if Kuku's razor and Gabbi's BB have blade mail, that can probably be a different story but, they really are stomped heavily in all of that game, early and mid game.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 07, 2022, 10:46:39 AM
Boom Esports and T1 will have a match later for Dota 2. There will be no skem for that game as he's sick and their coach, Mushi, will be the one to sub and play for him.

T1 has to win their remaining games and series for this tour 3.

Because if my calculation is right, if they lose against Boom, they won't be able to qualify for the Arlington major.

Your calculations is correct since they only have 3 remaining matches and the 2 of them are to the teams that is above them in terms of ranking. They need to beat Boom and Fnatic at the same time to secure the spot in the Arlington major. But it’s very hard for them to beat those two power house SEA team because they got beaten already by RSG which already loss to Boom and Fnatic. Let’s see if they can make to do this almost impossible streak.
It's going to be a hard game for them later despite there's no skem, it's Boom's coach and also a former pro player and superstar - Mushi.

I want T1 to get into Arlington major since they really are a surprising team. Beating those strong teams but it's really hard on this region, SEA, to win and all teams are great.

Just a few minutes now and game 1 picking is about to start.

2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 06, 2022, 10:46:47 PM
I think that's really far from happening and even if Amir Khan is overrated, Manny Pacquiao and his camp knows what would be the best for them. I bet they will only accept fights that will be more interesting and not a fight with just pure monkey business because that is against Pacquiao's stand in life.

It's more much ideal if it's Pacquiao and Mayweather even if I do not view the latter as one of the boxing legends but these two deserves a 2nd fight as they both didn't had the chance to have a rematch.
If there's a big money on the line and they try to cooperate again with Mayweather. I guess this is possible.

It's like the actual retiring match for both of them and sums of money is on the pot. I think for sure both of them will have a bite on it, most likely Pacquiao is an automatic yes on it.

But for Mayweather, there could be more conditions and more portions of the pot will go for him.
2749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: July 06, 2022, 09:31:43 PM
So what if it falls?

With all of those years that people anticipated its fall, it even became stronger. So should it fall then there will be the majority that will see the opportunity rather than looking at its actual fall.

I'll still hold and buy it.

I've got more trust and confidence now with bitcoin as it held stronger than any other assets starting from the pandemic up to this point with other issues of the world and crises.
i am not talking about bitcoin's current situation bro. i know bitcoin will never fall. but if bitcoin not exist , what will happen ?
Then many would still go back to the same hard type of living without bitcoin. You know that many people have made their living better because of bitcoin.

It has given many of us the financial independence and also thought us a lot of things from finance, economics and other things related to money matters.

And to my life, I guess I'd be stuck in saving my money in bank having that 1%-5% per year that will also be lessened due to inflation and won't be forced to know about financial freedom
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 06, 2022, 08:20:00 PM
I can attest to this that really helpful , I become addicted in gambling for years and yes it makes me felt desperate and almost lost everything , till time that i ask my family how to get away and my parents advise me to leave my place for a while. so me and my family decide to go outside the city and live in country side and yes it helps a lot and made me clean after more than 6 months , now i can finally say that i am a addiction free and can stand in middle of gamblers without any betting lust.
Congratulations to you mate.

You did well for overcoming the addiction you've once got and the topic is directly connected to your experience. Having a new set of place and ambiance proved that it can help an addicted gambler.

I guess this won't be just for the addicted gambler but also to those people that are also addicted in other vices.

I do not think that everyone will afford the effect of printing more money by the FED. As you can see, despite the recovery, there goes the high inflation due to the issue of the war.

And if another printing happens, this adds up to the current percentage that every country that's affected by the war like the shortage of food through wheat and even with oil.

Was that Yuragi of OG for Dota 2 that was eating during the final clash that they have in game?

What a guy. That's totally a sign of chill for their opponents as they're winning already. While on the other hand, ATF(Ammar the F) dropped the "mantle of intelligence" on their opponents outside near the fountain.
2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 05, 2022, 10:11:45 PM
Why wait if you can DCA?

If you're going to wait for the lowest, you will never find it out or if you do then you're lucky to have it spot on. But the reality is that, many don't figure it out.

As you wait for the dip, you may miss that buying opportunity as the market is likely about to recover but we don't know, if the fall will come again and if it will make bitcoin pass back lower than $17k.
2755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: July 05, 2022, 09:12:13 PM
I don't see too much bear market this year as the current Bitcoin market situation is a usual occurrence, take 2018 for example similar market situation happen and yet we still hard all time high in 2021 even after the covid situation. Your trading formula is not different from the normal trading in between the market price, but then you have to understand one thing Bitcoin has a highly unpredictable market. Very volatile.
2018's bear market was different and it's really like the biggest. From $20k of bitcoin down to $3k, and compute how percentage was that.

This time, we can say that this is a better bear market.

Although there's also the huge drop for the entire market but, bitcoin is still up and it's the ATH of 2017.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 12:08:55 PM
Great story and that's part of his history now.

But as a businessman, going with the casino with your last capital or money isn't really ideal. Many he just got really lucky and we can tell that it has changed his life then after that.

Although it's not just all about gambling but mainly his way of managing his business and that's why it has grown. Having that said, it's a very rare occassion to have the same story as his.
2757  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: July 05, 2022, 09:07:32 AM
There is some merit to this, but rather than saying it's the best time to get rich I would look at it as another opportunity because if done wrong it could also be the quickest way to go broke.
That's just the same meaning of what RK has said. But either way, it's the truth that he said. Well, the problem goes to the investor if he has cash at these moments.

It is the main reason now why everyone is going to keep their profits in cash or any stable coins during the bull run. So, whenever the market crashes again, we're all prepared to buy at those levels and we'll take the opportunity and advantage.
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is a Museum of Bitcoin Mining History in Caracas, Venezuela on: July 05, 2022, 07:29:47 AM
I would like to visit that type of museum too. We can imagine that anyone who visits there is aware of bitcoin and you'll get to have a pal discussing about mining and everything about bitcoin once you're there.

I think those people that want to contribute a lot within their community and neighborhood that has the initiative can do the same. This is actually a good way of educating those folks that are not yet into bitcoin.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: July 04, 2022, 11:06:44 PM
In my case nothing special. I've already gambled to help my family to pay monthly bills and thank God I achieved success on that.
I have also nothing special.

But you're better because you've helped your family and was able to pay the bills. I haven't done that to support and pay the bills through gambling. I may even spend the budget for the bills instead of paying it.

In other situations, I've ordered some pizza or restaurant food and bought virtual games. But usually what I most like doing with gambling profit is to save it and invest to keep growing crypto holdings.
Yeah, these are like the typical purchases that we have with the money that we get from our winnings.
2760  Other / Off-topic / Re: I think google is spying on us ,when our phones are in the room on: July 04, 2022, 05:33:23 PM
Not only google but every app that contains ads that we just hit the agree button without reading it.

They're like that and I don't know how do they call that but it's like an algorithm and everything that our phone hears from us, it's quick to register for those ads and they'll show to our feed.

The same goes for search for our PCs, whatever we search, there's the algo for the ads that will eventually come out later on.

they spy us via the phone microphones < -- it's illegal guys ,FBI needs warrant to tap phones , and Google does it without asking permission etc...
The same for Facebook too. But I'm sure they all know that but they did nothing or did they already?

And not only with the microphones but also with the cameras. So be careful with what you agree in permissions because it's important to have at least knowledge on what you allow and what you not.

Even if FBI sues google, they'll just pay them the fine.
