2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 22, 2021, 02:29:05 PM
Now I am observing strange movements of tokens of NFT-games. For example, eggs of Duck Wawes have increased by many times from the launch. And other coins as well (Axie Infinity, Skills). I have invested in PVU recently, it is a promising game to my mind.
In spring we saw how meme coins increased by 100 times just because of hype and advertisement from authoritative people. So there are a lot of strange things in the crypto market.
We go with the hype and eventually we will be profitable, 100 times increase is not impossible especially if the market is bullish.

Lost of coins in the market has already increased 100 times in just years.

For example, ADA which is currently over $2.. looking at the chart, https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/... it was once valued at 0.02 USD only.

Axie Infinity also has already increased 100 times in less than a year. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS dead? on: August 22, 2021, 01:38:31 PM
EOS will be pump soon. Their marketcap is still huge. We will see EOS glory before Bitcoin reach ATH.

it seems you have high hopes for EOS, which now seems hopeless to grow but I'm sure there will be a time for EOS to develop again but it takes a lot of patience.

First, I looked at the trading volume and it has over $1 billion trading volume a day, so it's not dead.

It's not profitable now unlike other coins but I would not say it's cheap at the moment as for a coin that is almost 1 billion in supply to value at over $5, I think it's still high, so I will not try to accumulate. I will watch this coin though, and just wait for the right timing to accumulate.
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 22, 2021, 01:18:04 PM
Casimero said Inoue is a Japanese Turtle, MF, and afraid of him.. the Champ should respond the right way, and that is by accepting the challenge.

Yeah I saw the clip on YT. I was wondering If Inoue have made a real response with the trash talking Casimero did in the press because I've read an article where Inoue was a bit upset with Casimero's statement calling him a turtle, then proceed to post some remarks of his own in his twitter account.

Though I am from PH but I guess I'm rooting for the Monster here. I feel like Inoue is in a different level than Casimero in terms of intensity, speed, and power.
However as fellow Filipino, I'm a bit excited of what Casimero could bring to take down the Japanese boxing prodigy.

I think being a trashralker is Casimero's trying to build as a trademark just like other foreign boxers. He's trying to build a different personality that is different from other boxers from the Philippines. However, we shouldn't underestimate Inoue because as we've seen in his previous fights, he's a giant in the ring.

As you said, he is just trying to make a trademark as a trash talker and whatever comes in his mouth may not reflect his personal life and we can also expect that he does not underestimate Inoue, if given a chance, he will certainly trade harder as he know if he wins, he will be in the top.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting Or Gambling ? on: August 22, 2021, 12:38:33 PM
Understand that sports betting is part of gambling, and there are typles of gambling, I like to name few of the most popular that I also played.

1. dice
2. crash game
3. roulette.
4. Poker
5. SPORTS BETTING.

I played more on sports betting because I loved sports, and I also believe that this type of betting does not only won by luck, you can grow here as a gambler and in the long run, you'll improve your skills.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 12:07:30 PM
at least I enjoy the fight and possibly the last fight of the 8th division world world champion.
I hope it is Manny's last fight. I love him as a boxer and he is probably one of the best of all time but it is clear that he is losing his ability / fitness in the later rounds. He has a very good record and it is always sad to see these legends pick up unnecessary losses on their record because they do not know when to give up the sport. All the legends Tyson and Ali went on for longer than they should have and ended up picking up these losses on their record. The only one that has not in recent memory is Floyd Mayweather but he is playing it smart fighting Youtubers.
Manny's power is already gone, he is not strong as he was before that's why Ugas is very confident in fighting him toe to toe. The counter punch of Ugas is effective, most especially his jabs, and I am one of the many who underestimated him but I admit, Ugas is a smart fight, hence very dangerous to fight him in the ring.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 22, 2021, 11:48:47 AM
But I guess Donaire can still be a house hold name Top Rank could easily negotiate a fight with Donaire since there's no barrier. I mean Donaire has his wife as manager, so I guess what makes her happy specially about the purse, she can put Nonito's signature right away. As opposed to Casimero who have a lot of people behind and it could make the negotiation more difficult.

Donaire came into the picture after he won a title but when it comes to which will be a better fight it will be the Casimero - Inoue fight, remember Inoue fully dominated Donaire, fans would like to see what Casimero and Inoue will bring to the table when they clash, there's excitement between two fighters who love to get into the ring when they clash.

It will definitely one of the best fights in the sports of boxing, both are monster, at least Casimero claimed that he is the rea monster, or just saying like he is the real champion, so Inoue has to beat him so people will be convince that he is the beast in the division, and no other.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 21, 2021, 09:56:49 PM
Although there are few participants on the poll I'm surprised that many supports Casimero than Inoue, Casimero is very brazen and arrogant while Inoue has the making of legendary boxer, very strong, fast accurate I don't know why Casimero is getting a lot of supports compared to Inoue, it's still unclear if these fighters will meet this year, we still have to read the official announcement and signing of the contract, if there is none then it's all speculation.
Maybe they actually believe he is the best fighter out of the two, or maybe what is happening is that they are letting this attitude to become some sort of showmanship and that is why they are picking him up, after all we know that this is part of the business and fighters love to display their arrogance to show some level of superiority over their opponents, however I agree with you and I think Inoue is the best fighter out of the two but we have to wait and see if they are actually going to fight this year.
Inoue has a good ranking in the pound for pound list and obviously based on his record, he is the best compared to Donaire and Casimero, however, being the best, he should prove to the world by beating the one who is claiming that he is better than the best.

Casimero said Inoue is a Japanese Turtle, MF, and afraid of him.. the Champ should respond the right way, and that is by accepting the challenge.

For now, we will enjoy every game inside our house no live audience until this season end.
No problem with me, but it's better if we have a chance to watch the game live.

The strategy of the government in handling the pandemic is not so effective, now with the threat of new variants, I think our hope to see the game with live audiences will be delayed again. Some areas are already in lockdown, this measure is the last resort if the government can't handle the situation and we know its effect to our economy especially those employees who are just relying on their job to feed their families.

For me, I would be okay with just watching the games live on my TV.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: August 21, 2021, 08:40:20 PM
I doubt it that you won't affect you when a crash happens.

You're relying on the market, you've got holdings while you trade and if that happens, you'll be mostly affected by it and that's why everyone is affected during bear market.

Although the good thing with day traders, they can cope up with their daily trades but not with what they hold unless they DCA.

We have our own way of managing our funds though, as for me, I'm pretty much aware already of the market volatility, the pump and dump are not new to me, so I don't panic anymore. I just do trading like a game and I'm confident that even how big the dump is, the market will eventually bounce back, and it's the best timing to sell if you trusted your instinct by accumulating during the dip.
That's good for you.

But not everyone is like you that you can manage your own funds and aware of the market's volatility. There are some that are too confident but aren't prepared for the worse to come.

They need to learn though, not everyone can be profitable in investing and trading, otherwise that is not realistic any more. It's just like gambling and we are gambling against each other, some people have to lose because the other wins due to their correct prediction. It's a guessing game, you guess it right, you make money, but the one that makes consistent money are the exchanges because they always enjoy trading fees the moment we trade.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 21, 2021, 08:20:52 PM
An addict's budget can only be all the money they can borrow, through appropriation as well as their basic source of income, advice still has their ears but their hearts prefer to hear the sound of gambling, the sound of winnings after a bet and their lives are also left with chaotic disasters, almost no one wants to reach out to help such people, sometimes gambling addiction is identified as the scum of society. Under any circumstances, our budget for entertainment should not go beyond what we admit, a little flame of borrowing can burn us to ashes.
I like your suggestion, the budget for entertainment should not be higher than our income
Gambling addicts are not much different from drug addicts, they are the trash of society and that's a disgusting thing

I once had a colleague at work but he was a gambling addict, his debts were very large, and that caused him divorce from his wife
Setting a budget for gambling is very important, it is non-negotiable

I only had a realization that greediness and abuse could lead to addiction. One of the common mistakes of gamblers that goes into gambling addiction is their abusive desire to continually win once they taste a good profit which is a wrong mindset. An allocated budget for gambling no matter what's the result of our gameplay and bets should be enough.

That's a stupid desire because we are getting unrealistic, hence it resulted in bigger losses in the long run, I know there are times we lose control in gambling lose with the unexpected amount but we should always learn from our mistakes, never stop learning as eventually we will get matured and will be able to enjoy gambling by staying disciplined all the time.

Enjoy the winning if we are lucky, but let us not be greedy and it always makes us suffer in the end.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 21, 2021, 01:05:03 PM
NBA market update - Two teams are currently battling for a possible acquisition of Paul Millsap. I'm talking about Brooklyn and Golden State. The two teams would have expressed their interest in the 36-year-old. However, it seems to be a complicated operation for both of them. The Nets have 16 players on their roster at the moment and they already have Blake Griffin and James Johnson - or even KD - in that specific role. As for the Warriors, they have 13 players with guaranteed contracts. Nemanja Bjelica landed in the "Bay" this summer, but Millsap could add some skill to the bench.
Base on ESPN, the Warriors also have a 16 man roster already so if they will trade somebody for him them they might get him but if I will choose between the two teams I think the Warriors will be the one that will fit him. @cryptomaniac_xxx said that the Lakers are also interested on him. Let him join in the Lakers then so that the veteran and old players will be on the same team Cheesy. Maybe it would be better if the Lakers will make their roster right now a roster of aged 30 years old and above Cheesy.

Paul Millsap is already 35 years old, and his production has dropped already compared to his stats with the Atlanta Hawks, but his experience could help a championship-caliber team, so he will always fit in a team like the Nets or the Warriors. I would remember David West if he ends up playing with the Warriors.
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 12:41:11 PM
If you think of a reward, please don't start in gambling, unless you are good with affiliate marketing and you can use your referral to promote the site, that way, there's no risk on your part and you will make money based on the number of sign-ups you will get and of course, they also need to gamble.

Enjoy gambling as it's intended for entertainment, if you have a job, you are good to go but if you go gambling as your source of income, then always think twice as you are in the wrong journey.
2753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCAMMERS NEVER GET TIRED on: August 20, 2021, 09:58:32 PM
They will never get tired because they know there are still a lot of uneducated investors in the market. It will always depend on us, if we will educate ourselves before investing, then eventually these scammers will get out because they know they cannot scam people since we already know how to spot the difference between a scam and legit.

I'm not saying I'm good but I learn from my experience as I have been scammed in the past.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 20, 2021, 09:41:57 PM

The problem is they can't complain about it as gambling is not really a necessity that people should do or take. It's just an entertainment and the government has all the right to impose whatever taxes they want, or worse to ban it.

That's the thing, actually in the Philippines, when the government increases the taxes on liquor and Tobacco, people did not complain as they know it's harmful to their health, the government calls it as a SIN TAX, and it really helps the government to generate more revenue through these industries.
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: August 20, 2021, 08:55:19 PM
I have been observing the behavior of many altcoins and many of those that I expected to grow a lot have not yet done so despite the fact that BTC is around $ 45k, such as DOT, UNI, they are currencies that stand out above the others, of course LINK and SOL In this case, SOL catches my attention, it is a currency that they predict can reach 50USD, for now it is at 38USD but do you think that BTC when reaching $ 50k these coins and especially SOL react with new ATH?

Quote
If bulls thrust the price above $44, the SOL/USDT pair could rally to the psychological resistance at $50 and then retest the all-time high at $58.38. A breakout and close above this resistance will signal the resumption of the uptrend.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/price-analysis-8-11-btc-eth-bnb-ada-xrp-doge-dot-uni-link-sol

Nice call, it has rallied already and in fact, SOL has 78% in a week according to CMC.
This coin is really valuable and it is now rank at the number 10.

We can expect more uptrend especially if bitcoin will break the resistance and hit the price to $50k and higher.

As the price movement of bitcoin stays to be bullish, investors would be happy to invest in altcoins too and that would make altcoins grow particularly a solid project with great community.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 20, 2021, 08:35:44 PM

Great news for the followers of this sport, there's a delay but only a short delay, and what matters is the PBA will resume soon. We just have to watch the Pacquiao fight then we will focus on the news about the PBA.

The practice will also resume next week.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/pba-practices-set-to-resume-next-week-in-pampanga-a795-20210819?ref=feed_1_section
Good suggestion, lets place our bets now for Manny and enjoy his fight while waiting for PBA, as
another more than a week of wait and the game will resume back.

Just enough time for players and coaches to take their practices and start warming those created plays for the remaining games.

Not only us will enjoy the fight, though their training will resume soon, I'm sure they will also find a way to watch the fight this Sunday. Everytime Manny had a fight, everyone watches it as every fight of Manny is historic since he is the only 8th division champion, and who knows, he could be the GOAT in boxing someday, so missing it is something we will regret.

Quote
Thanks for the effort of everyone as they make this thing to happen letting us fans to enjoy the games again.

Good news came earlier than we expected, so let's hope they'll be able to realized the plan.

@bisdak40, maybe you can activate the thread [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight again, this fight is probably on already, so to not derail this thread, we can do the discussions on the right thread.

here's your thread created last Jan 2020 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220020.0

sending you a PM as well, in case you'll not read this one.

Nice suggestion, I'm sure bisdak40 will read this as he is very active in sports betting discussions, especially in boxing.

I realized it's been over a year already since the fight was cancelled, both fighters have won several fights and now it's happening.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 19, 2021, 08:35:43 PM
Things are getting better and better on Casimero.

Casimero on doping as he pushes for title fight

Quote
LAS VEGAS – Now it’s Naoya Inoue who’s stalking Johnriel Casimero.

The undefeated world bantamweight champion raised the issues surrounding doping and weight management should a fight with the outspoken Filipino is finally made.

Inoue, 28, again took to social media in following up on his earlier demand to arrange a fight with Casimero, hopefully before the end of the year.

“Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing,” said the reigning WBA and IBF bantamweight champion.

The tide has changed, Inoue is now more aggressive in making this fight happen.

We might see a great fight this year, and hopefully, there's no hindrance to it.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 18, 2021, 09:03:40 PM
Who's going to fight first?

I think Casimoero's strategy is very effective, Inoue was disrespected by him so he wants to fight him now.

Here's the latest news about that.

Inoue takes notice of Casimero antics: ‘Please organize a match’
Smells like this fight would really push through rather than on Donaire vs Inoue but lets see if Donaire would be still next on line to fight with the monsters but it seems there would be some changes in the wind on here.
Casimero might looked to be bad ass but i wont be surprised if it would be shutdown by Inoue. Honestly, the recent fight with Rigo doesnt really show up something remarkable.

Even though he won that fight but doesnt really convince me that kind of performance would really be enough on taking down Inoue.

I guess we should blame that to Rigondeaux for just running the whole night. He does not engage well with Casimero and it resulted in a boring fight.

But THIS!... I'm sure Inoue vs Casimero is a firepower fight as no one would certainly back down, and this is also a chance for Casimero to prove that h is not only good at talking trash, he is also good in the ring which could KO the Monster of Japan.

Casimero should continue doing trash talk before the contract is finalize, it's helping him.

More betting odds are now available.

I'm currently browsing on the odds and I find the "Pacquiao , Manny by KO 2.90" (from sportsbet) interesting, I know Ugas is strong but he is not fast so most probably Manny will always find an opening to hit him clean and hard and Ugas will not survive the 12 rounds.
