1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 22, 2022, 09:17:53 AM

Honestly, if Donaire haven't won on his recent fights with an impressive result, I believe he already decided to hang up his gloves and didn't pursue to have some fight with the monster of Japan as he know his chances is slim. But, as we know, he did ended his recent fights with impressive wins and that's is also why I believe he can still pull a victory in this rematch.

I also think the same, but that fight was really his ticket to fight Inoue again because he is the current champion, and a unification fight is always good to see. He is still the underdog in this fight, but we never know, maybe Donaire has prepared something that could shock the world.

Donaire has proven and tested already for how many years in the world of boxing he became a champion in his career and also in the ring he stand among those mans who will be defeated by him. If the result of this fight and still inoue will win in the second time it's better to give up not because he is weak and can not defeat Inoue but because he already prove himself that he is the champion maybe because of his age his moves effected.

Yes, no question about that, Donaire is really good and his wins are very interesting. That's why this fight is very interesting despite we already seen them fight already, this rematch is good for Donaire as he came from a huge win, it gave him the confidence he needs to beat the monster of Japan which was still undefeated until now.

A new strategy may give the possibility for Donaire to win over Inoue. As he has faced Inoue before, he already knew what needs to be done and what to avoid. As people are highlighting his age to be one of the factors that may affect his performance inside the ring. He should finish the fight as early as he can, if he can see the chance. Otherwise, Inoue may dominate him in the last rounds. But still, this fight is still exciting to watch. We will know where Donaire and Inoue will go from here.

There's no need for this fight to go to the distance, if Donaire wants to win, it should be finished by KO or TKO, that's his only chance IMO. Inoue is very young, he is in his prime, he can knock out anyone, but he is not perfect, he can also make mistakes like in their first fight that's why he got surgery after the fight.

This is a revenge for Donaire and a good achievement for his retirement if he wins this fight.

I also lost on this game, riding on the -6.5 for the Celtics to win at home.

But it's a different scenario, Celtics this time starting slow and let the Heat established a good lead in the first quarter alone. Although they cut the lead to 2 if I'm not mistaken, the Heat is composed not to let this game slip away from them.

Marcus Smart injury is painful to watch though.  Sad

Looking forward to the next game: Warriors vs Mavs again.

But Marcus smart still managed to finish the game, so I presume that he is okay. Heat got the lead but the series is still not over, once the Celtics were able to tie it in game 4, this series will be more interesting as it's just going to be the best of 3 series.

Next game, Tatum has to explode, Brown alone could not help his team to win, he needs his buddy.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 22, 2022, 07:42:38 AM
^^ There's no "Warrior like comeback", from Boston. The Heat manages to hold them off and win the 4th quarter with good defense.

What a solid game from Bam, tonight, he leads the Heat with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Lowry played limited minutes but it was enough to help the Heat as well with 11. Brown taking over with the absence of Tatum with 40 big points but it wasn't enough.

Big statement by the Heat, I thought Celtics would take games 3 and 4, but Heat is there to surprise us. Great game so far, Lowry is really big help, he gives energy to the team and I like what Bam did, it was his best game so far in the series, with consistency, I think they'll be hard to beat.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 22, 2022, 07:10:00 AM
let's get realistic here, TerraFirma is not a team a player would want to play because it's a trash team and players are not as motivated when they are playing on a big team like Pangilinan and Cojuangco owned teams. PBA is just being monopolized, that's the real score actually, that's why I understand why players are upset when they get traded in a weak team.

That's the reality in our beloved PBA  Grin. Every trade has its own drama but fans/community can do nothing about it even if we rant on social media, that will not still have an effect on the decision of Willie Marcial.

In this case of Javy and Gray, i could that Terrafirma really needed guys that could help their campaign ASAP which they could not get from Gray as he is suffering/recovering from an injury while Ginebra could wait for his return as they won't need him as they have reliable guys on his position. Fair trade for me.

We will eventually find it out who wins the trade once the season starts. It will start next month, so we better prepared our bet for that as for sure everyone will be putting their bets again. It's a long break, but the good thing is that everything is back to normal already.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: May 21, 2022, 08:44:58 PM
Currently, the bitcoin price is still in the price range of around $39k-$40k making it difficult for bitcoin to increase significantly to reach its target price of $100k by the middle of this year.

Today bitcoin is getting close to $35k or maybe it will drop below $35k, looking at facts like this of course we regret not selling bitcoins when the price reaches $60k or $50k, I bought the last bitcoin around $650 at $48k and seems to have to be patient to get RoI or profit.
5 days after ? it drops not only below 35k but below 30k , actually almost belor 25k days ago as now we have recovered and we knew that there are some chances this may turn oppositely .
Bitcoin is currently ins table value m and we can find some things to enjoy this market .

Exactly, Now bitcoin market very tough to predict bitcoin price. Bitcoin price already huge dropped this and and the previous month bitcoin price was $40k around. But this month bitcoin price continue dropping and the last few days bitcoin price staying $29k-30k.What do you think, bitcoin price will be early rising next month?I think bitcoin price will recover again but need long time for that.

There's no assurance that it will rise next month, we just have to make our own guess and do the right action. It's very unpredictable, we might think that we have already seen the dip but it's also possible that the price will dump more. The scary part is that bitcoin has not recovered yet, instead, it stays at $29k, so I have a feeling that we will see a lower price in the coming weeks, but like I said, there's no guarantee it will happen.

If you are bullish, then buying now is the right thing to do.

1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going on??? on: May 21, 2022, 02:35:45 PM
When I purchased early on, the price for a btc was $11,000 . a few months ago, I can recall the price level
was $63,000 . I just knew that it was going to hit the $100,000 mark...Now as of today its $30,180

What is going on???  Also, can anyone predetermine if the btc will reach the $100,000 and is the btc
worth the investment...An educated guess, is acceptable!

This is simply just market volatility, you should be aware that investing in crypto is very risky because of its volatile nature. You purchase it at a lower price, cheaper than the current price, and although you already see a $63k price, you still choose to hold, so I suggest that you should do the same, bitcoin will eventually bounce back once the bear market is over.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 21, 2022, 02:06:56 PM

Will we see a 3-0 after game 3?

It's hard to answer that question because the Mavericks would not allow that.
However, Warriors are just a good team, it's hard to beat them, so Luka does need more help from his teammates especially on the defensive side.

Once again, Dinwiddie was inconsistent, on game 2, he only scored 4 and made 4 turnovers, he need to score like 20+ so Mavs will have a better chance to win.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 19, 2022, 08:36:11 AM
Miami Heat have already got 1-0 ahead in their series against Boston Celtics. And truthfully, this was a thing that I was expecting to see. I knew that Celtics were incredibly good in the last games against Bucks. But this is a brand new series and Heat are also a very strong opponent for them. I expected Heat to show their quality and threaten Celtics at the same time. And they did this very well. Butler was amazing by 41 pts. And I feel like Heat will be winning the second game also but let's see.

Yup, Miami Heat did well on their 1st game and they succeed. Actually, I also expected that the first games of both conference will be dominated by Miami Heat and GSW, so it did happen. They may have a good start on the whole series but they should not lower their guard because these opposing teams are capable to eat them if they let it happen, both teams are watching for these mistakes so that they could turn it into their advantage.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 18, 2022, 06:06:34 PM
Now that the last year's rival in the NBA finals has gone, I preferred new teams this time and I think the Mavs have all the chances to defeat GSW if they managed to pull out the same gameplay when they beat the number 1 team in the western conference but this is the conference final and not the same as the games they have won in the fast and I think this is the first time Luka managed to push his team up to this point, I really wanted him to win the championship since he might not get any chance to step back in this point in the future.

As much as I want to see the Mavs winning the championship again since Dirk, but on the contrary I'd really love to see the Boston Celtics succeed this time. I mean they have been working so hard since LeBron was still in Cleveland but they can't get passed on the ECF. Now, that they're facing Miami another tough opponent, I know they can make it.
Whichever team goes out to the Finals from the West, I'm pretty sure Boston can match them.

Yes I understand your opinion but for me, I also want some fresh face and teams in the finals this season that's why I'm rooting for both the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics as these two teams are much deserving to be the champion this season because these teams have been impressive throughout the season.

But on the contrary, they should prove that they are really worthy to be called as a champion as both of these teams are against heavy teams which is Miami Heat and GSW.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: May 18, 2022, 05:34:52 PM
The Bivol - Canelo fight result is something we least expected and we could have it again in this fight, we considered the Bivol Canelo a mismatch but look what happened, Bivol teach Canelo a lesson in boxing, will we see the same scenario here can Romero come out a Bivol like performance I don't rule it out but his team should come out something new for Tank, they all know how Tank works, they should anticipate this.
How could you tell that this fight would result to a same scenario like the Canelo-Bivol fight? There maybe a chance but those chances will not be always the result as Rolly Romero is nowhere near Dmitry Bivol and so does Tank Davis and Canelo.

I understand your point but we cannot just anticipate that the underdog (Romero) will also win in this fight just because we have seen some few upsets this year especially the Canelo-Bivol fight.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 18, 2022, 04:18:34 PM
Tomorrow's game will be between GSW and Mavs. Would it have the same home court win or Mavs will snatch game one and take

the early series advantage?
This remains to be seen though, but I like the Warriors to win the series, they are now the favorites so I'll go with the line set by the bookies.
Mavericks snatching a win on the GSW's homecourt is unlikely to happen especially on Game 1 where most of the Warriors roster especially the Splash brothers are really used in their homecourt. But yes, this is just a speculation and only time will reveal which one of them will have a lead on the series.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 18, 2022, 02:37:24 PM
I'm surprised with the poll result so far.

we have 27 posters who voted for this fight and Kambasos got 51.9% of the total votes, or 14/27.
Bookies may make Haney a heavy favorite, but we posters here are bettors who see which figher offers a good value.

Oh well, it sports bookies and the boxing fans in this community is not agreeing, it simply means that the fight is going to be very close and really hard to predict.

As been mentioned before, the styles of this two fighters are very contrasting and we don't know which style will be dominant. Or if the other side will adjust in the fight to counter the other. So for me this is a very difficult to predict and who to choose on betting.
Yes, I know that because there are also some users here in this forum are not interested in answering those said polls, that's why we can't really tell that there are more Kambosos's side here than Haney. As of now, the discussion poll has been tied.

The way I'm seeing it, the people and boxing spectators are still not sure on who have the higher hand on this match because both of them have their own unique skill set which is truly different to one another. That's how interesting the fight is Cheesy
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 18, 2022, 02:10:36 PM
I surely hope so that Donaire have another strategy this time because he should know that getting into a toe-to-toe fight with Inoue is certainly not a good idea at all. I think his only choice is to pull a KO on the early rounds so that his chances to defeat the latter will somehow increase and be smart not to exhaust all stamina and energy he needed in the following rounds of the fight because that is where the monster will go for him just like in the last fight.

Most of us here who followed Donaire already know how lethal that counter left hook of his which I think will still be his weapon of choice, he only needs to land it at the perfect timing and you are right, he needs to watch that gas tank of his so that he still has some left in the championship rounds which is very critical for both fighters as either one of them will go for that knockout.

Indeed! That counter left hook will still be his specialty and weapon of choice as he's more used to it, now is not the right time to have some experiment on what should be his special card to Inoue, he should use what is on his possession and his best asset. Finding the perfect timing when to land it will be difficult because if he cannot land it properly, Inoue will just shake it just like what he did in their previous fight.

I still believe that Donaire can still defeat Inoue with a right pace and timing.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 17, 2022, 08:55:10 PM
PJ Tucker, Danny Green, McGee are few of those lucky players,  Grin.

So let's see if Tucker can make it back to back with different teams, this will be a good accomplishment, but they have to go first with Celtics and then on the other brackets winner. I will go with the under on this first game, 203.5 at 1.93.

It would not be so easy for them like in the 2nd round because Celtics are a complete different team that they beat before. In fact, Celtics now are the favorite to win the series, so I wouldn't be surprise if they'll steal game 1 in this series.

Heat has to win the first 2 games if they want to have a good chance of winning the series. Heat surely have a plan against Tatum, they'll find a way to slow him down but at the same time, I'm worried about Butler because it seemed like no one could defend him from the Celtics roster.

Same here, I believe that the Miami Heat have the upper hand now against the Boston Celtics because they are much more experienced team and their rotation is much more different. While the latter will have some time to adjust and that includes losses on the series as well but they have to find a way to limit Jimmy Butler's performance because if not, they'll be just like the 76ers.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: May 17, 2022, 08:31:02 PM
Boston Celtics now finally end the series. I don't know what happened to Milwaukee Bucks.

Still, this series is hard to predict at the start as both teams are doing well. The Celtics will now face the Miami Heat at the Eastern Conference Finals.

Salute to Giannis. He did his best. Milwaukee Bucks will come strong next season.
Giannis has always been doing his best in all his games, but i guess today's season is not really for his team. Bucks wilted and made bad moves, and end up defeated by the Celtics. I guess many have expected that Bucks will win this game, and that Celtics are the heavy underdog. But oh, it turned out that the prophecy of Celtics' coach made into reality, and that they end up the game sweeter than in their previous games.
Bucks were able to give a good fight on the Celtics despite missing Middleton, so even if they lose, it's not really that bad because they tried their best to be in the conference finals.  Giannis is the best player of the Bucks, but no enough support from his teammates, against the Celtics team where everyone makes a great contribution.

Yeah Middleton would have definitely changed the series.  Too much on giannis to lift the heavy bag by himself.  Jrue is good, real good but not enough to spell giannis on a down game or 2.  Boston surprised me and taytum is top 10 in the league, possibly top 5 right now.  Dude is unbelievable.

It was Grant Williams who played impressively all of a sudden, that was surely a big help for the team so that Tatum can focus well on defending Giannis and can go for an offense anytime as they also have Jaylen Brown waiting.

I also thought that Middleton will be forced to play on the Game 7, he was rumored to play though but it didn't happen. Also, I don't think he can be a big help for now because of his condition. He should recover well this summer so that they will have a fresh start again next season.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 17, 2022, 08:07:35 PM
Well, the truth is, Kambosos could start with a good strategy that would be to give a KO, but I think it is a very risky strategy, because he will spend a lot of energy and I know that he can do it, but Haney has a very good preparation, and also one of the main characteristics of it is resistance.

If we focus on the physical characteristics and the styles of the boxers we see that there is a combination of styles that, if they had each one, would be even more complete.
That is exactly why I want these kind of match-up because these boxers are the kind who wouldn't take an easy defeat as they are both eager and willing to give their best shot in-order to have a sure win no matter what would cost them. I just surely hope this will be a clean fight though.

Either way, both boxers shouldn't be complacent to each other because they are both capable of giving a knockout punch. But on this fight, I won't deny that I'm with Haney.
I would like to have an idea of some kind of advantage that either of the two boxers could have in this fight, for me Kambosos has explosiveness and that at any moment he can give everything and have little resistance, that is where I think Haney will have all the advantage, because if he manages to contain everything from Kambosos it could be the best of all scenarios.

I have not seen the bets for this fight and I really do not want to see them yet, at least until May 28 that the fighters have shown something about themselves, their training or any other advance, to have an idea of what they are prepared for, so I can have a better judgement.

They both have their own advantages as well as the disadvantage side, that's why we are seeing Haney showing his training to the media in hopes that they could set a trap on Kambosos camp because it's also expected that the latter's camp will use that video to study his movements. But I think Haney's camp have another goal that's why they revealed their training on the media, to think it's very unlikely to see some scenario like that. It's up to them on who will be the smarter one and that would have more chance in winning the fight.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 17, 2022, 07:41:13 PM
I have to agree with you on that, though I would support Magsayo but I can't help but notice his weakness. He has the power but he doesn't have the head movement that most great boxers do have, and his last win is not impressive, so he has a lot of convincing thing to do in this fight.
I think Magsayo will prepare stamina, defense pattern and whatever preparation he considers to cover all the shortcomings of every boxing match, I'm sure Magsayo is aware of his weak record from previous boxing fights so maybe for the next match he will deliver impressive wins.
I surely hope so, having a good defense against Vargas who is much taller than him will indeed be helpful because the latter's power shouldn't be underestimated. In terms of stamina, I know he can work for that because coach Freddie Roach is with him as well as the training needed. Defeating Vargas would be a good additional on his rapsheet and that record will help him get bigger fights in the future.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 17, 2022, 07:20:16 PM
I like to see an early KO or upset by Donaire, but I think the chance of it happening is quite low.

Well, actually if you believe that Donaire will win in this match, that kind of scenario should happen in the fight. No way Donaire will win if the fight goes to the judges' scorecard, he won't last 12 rounds having the same power he has in the early round as Inoue is faster than him, so Donaire will be exhausted.

I also believe in that scenario, if he can pull the trigger and KO Inoue it should be on the earlier round, just like what happened last time

he did tried to box Inoue but the monster manage to take all those solid punches. In the last few rounds of the fight, Donaire loses his stamina

and that's the cue for Inoue to start throwing solid punches and take advantage of the slowness of Donaire. Hope not to see the same thing,

and the camp of Donaire already got good strategy to win this one.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 15, 2022, 03:22:08 PM
This series has really become about home court advantage. There is still a lot of time in the second half but I already stopped watching after Suns trailed by as many as 20 points. I'm still rooting for the Suns to wrap it up but that's unlikely to happen in Dallas. See you in game 7. I expect that to be more physical and intense.

Finally, a game 7 from this NBA season's playoffs would be amazing to watch because every move and decision matters in that crucial game. I wonder how will the Phoenix Suns survive this since even though their players are complete, they still lack something when Luka and the Mavs are playing well. Since this is the playoffs anything could happen and most likely it would be an unexpected turn of events. nevertheless, we thank both teams for giving us such good games to watch that we will gonna missed after the NBA championship games.
I think Suns will still win, however, I have a feeling that the game 7 will be a close game and therefore Suns will not be able to cover the spread. They played well on their respective home court this series, but game 7 is the last game, so they have to give everything they have.

If it's going to be a close game, then it's safe to bet on the Mavericks handicap, they are +6.5 now, I think it's a very attractive odds considering we are now in game 7. It's a Luka vs Booker show, and CP3 vs Brunson, all these players should play well so it's going to be a great game 7.

Good luck to all the bettors, don't forget to bet and watch the last game of the series.

BTW, some significant line movement.
Total open at 209.5, now only 205. (under is screaming)
