2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING AND CHARITY on: June 14, 2019, 09:53:55 PM
As a gambler I do always lose money in betting but it does not regret me because I might be able to win sometimes and that enjoy me during my free time. I have already chosen a good platform that has suited my desire like having a greater chance on winning and does not have any problems when it comes to funds deposit and funds withdrawal.

Now, I have done something that I never did before and that is by donating money to charity. Whenever I win I am not going to give some percentage of money to the charity in the hopes that I can help those individuals who are in need. I have already seen the effect and that was very heart melting knowing that many are thanking for the donations.

So, I encourage everyone especially gamblers with huge profit to share or to donate those who are in need. Besides, I get the feeling that I am bless in betting if I will share profit.

What do you think guys? Do you think that the charity had made me fortunate to win in gambling?

Big gambling sites are already doing that, they donate a portion of their earnings to charity, but these are gambling sites, and they do not often lose, you can give to charity anytime but you cannot make it an alibi to continue gambling because you want to donate this could be a big trap to you to gamble more.
2782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thefts, fraud hit $1.2 billion in Q1 report on: June 14, 2019, 03:47:11 PM
Can you believe that losses from the theft of crypto from exchanges due to fraud hit $1.2B?

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-crypto-currency-fraud/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-2-billion-in-first-quarter-report-idUSKCN1S62P3

I still can't wrap my mind around why people wouldn't want to have compliance with AML and KYC to better help that this doesn't happen

Yeah I find this very alarming, and this is what those against Cryptocurrency adoption are pointing out and why some countries and companies do not want them, something drastic should be done against like a world body to regulate and strict compliance to KYC and AML but on second they are already very strict on this.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties and airdrops still worth it? on: June 14, 2019, 03:24:02 PM
https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-bounties-and-airdrops-still-worth-the-effort/ <<< they are killing them. They think their days are over.

Thoughts?

I'd like to think about it that way, it's like hitting the wind because  bounties  are not a guaranty that you can make money anymore, I missed those good old days when things are easy and real, maybe because of the lack of regulation and how easy it is for developers to run away they can do it over and over again, so if you think that maybe after a year those tokens will have value, that's unlikely.
2784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 14, 2019, 06:21:46 AM
Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run.

It still depends on the project, there are coins that are not worth holding lucky to dump my Konios and Icechain tokens at the right time dev have run away and not looking for them to develop their project anymore, this is something that every holders and investor should watch out, will they or will they not develop.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 14, 2019, 05:11:19 AM
Gamblers can control their emotion but I don't think they can control the urge to gamble, they are good in hiding their feelings and their denial that they need help but they cannot control the habit or the urge to gamble, and that story is not an isolated case there are a lot of unreported cases like that.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake allocation on: June 14, 2019, 04:21:07 AM
More percent of stakes goes to senior members like Sr member, hero member or legendary under bounty campaigns. But except for few cases, their performances are similar to those by junior members like member, Jr member.
The percentage of stakes allocated is much far between senior members and junior members. Moreover, it is really hard to get merit nowadays unlike in the past when merits would be given based on the quantity of posts. Except for few cases, merits are awarded to only the nearer and dearer.

So what do you guys think about it? You are welcome to comment.

It's one of the privileges of being high-rank members you get to show a prominent signature new members should show that they deserve to be here by contributing to this forum, all forums have these ranking members system, this is to differentiate people who are long-time users and what they've accomplished as a member of a forum.
2787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 14, 2019, 04:12:25 AM

The general sentiment of the market is getting very positive on Bitcoin as it is experiencing some upward movement. A lot of people are expecting that Bitcoin will soon breach the $6,000 level and can possibly go beyond that level in the coming weeks and months...and there are those already predicting of $8,000 or even $10,000 before 2019 ends. I know this is just another speculative notions but this can be reflective of the ongoing confidence the market has on the King of Cryptos.

With this backdrop in mind, will you advise a newbie to bitcoin to enter at this stage so he can be able to ride the coming "boom" or will you tell him to wait some more until the market is dipping?

I would but I would like first to explain all he wants to know about investing in Cryptocurrency, I don't want him blaming me when he loses his investment, and I will advise him if he wants to get it to only invest what he can afford to lose, I'd like him to decide for himself, people should invest in their decision after analyzing the situation.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Wallet - Site Disappears on: June 14, 2019, 02:13:41 AM
If you store coins in online wallets and if the site disappears in a sudden one day, you will lose everything.

Are you scared?

This is not something it happens in the past because of server update, but if the site was created in open source code and coders have proven that it is safe to use the site and your key will not be stored, then we have nothing to worry about, we just use other online or desktop wallet as long as we have the private key we have control of our coins.
2789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: June 13, 2019, 04:21:20 PM
We all know gambling is random. We like to call it as "luck" as it sounds cute but it's like "choice of odds" in mathematics.

I'm an atheist and when I started to play, I had a fun experience despite of what I won or lose because I bet small amounts. Then I got addicted because of some big wins so I started to gamble much.

Even if I wanted to think that maybe my winning and losing isn't getting impacted by anything external, I believed otherwise. I believed my winning is the result of the color of the shirt and wearing, music I'm listening to, time of the day etc. Then when I lost big, I prayed to God to help me win/recover. I saw gambling as life and winning is heaven and losing is punishment from God.

Then slowly I stopped and the addiction got away a bit.

What's your opinion, do you believe in God/power that you think may help you win? I think gambling has the potential to turn an atheist into theist because of fear/risk it has. Smiley

God will never help anyone to become addicted to gambling, he knows that once a person becomes addicted to gambling his life will be a ruin, you are winning because you have a good run of luck, nothing more than that, God has nothing to do with it, so don't attach it to anything religion.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: June 13, 2019, 02:14:51 PM
Here in our countr, betting is one of the common forms in gambling and that include spider fight.betting. Spiders could be easily spotted at night in the mountain areas where they will going to make their spider web to catch its prey.

Now, since spider do fights when meet, gamblers take this chance for.betting. Do you have experience on spider fight betting?

Note: Not all spider's fight for it will depend on its classications and some are too poisonous if got bitten will result to death.

These spider's are the common spiders that are not poisonous.

I don't, but this is my brother's past time and also his favorite betting, if you are good in looking at spider condition before the fight you are likely to make money, my brother is good at it he wins a lot, but this is illegal because they sometimes kill endangered species, because the hunter have no idea what kind of spiders are endangered.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Stands as Underdog vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: June 13, 2019, 01:24:51 PM
It's better that he is an underdog he will be motivated to train harder and fight harder and to prove once again that he still has it, I'll still go for Pacquiao not because he is my countryman but he still has the old form he just matured but he is still the Pacquiao that we all knows.
2792  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nodvix asking bounty hunters to invest 0.01 Eth to get paid for their work on: June 13, 2019, 01:10:16 PM
Hi all,

Did someone ask my opinion here? No problems

I'm not a NODVIX project manager, but just helping a team with the community and I duplicate information on behalf of the NODVIX team in their telegram groups. I don’t understand why this screenshot was taken exactly with me, but apparently the guy stumbled upon my "reply" message.

You guys are weird, apparently you don’t read between the lines ... this was created in order to eliminate this whole bots in the NODVIX bounty campaigns, quite an adequate decision of the team. Or spend a lot of time trying to disassemble all these 80% of bots in the telegram campaign or guys copying articles from each other. This is a good solution is to make the procedure by which you will save a lot of time and thus, it will be quite a significant barrier for for bounty scammers, trying to collect all the bounty pools. Plus, apparently you did not read the message well:

"As a Bonus - you get additional NDVX tokens - in the amount equivalent to 0.01 ETH, which you sent to confirm the right to receive bounty."

I.e your ETH are returned to you as TOKENS

To summarize, no one forces do it forcibly send ETH, this procedure is done to facilitate work with the bounty and nothing more, because there was a crazy rush of bots and copywriters and it would take a lot of time to check everything. Set a goal - to make money on this procedure, it is ridiculous.

John Pomelov / Community Manager for PayFair

Thanks for dropping by and posting your side, but what you have done is a bad precedent if we let these things pass we will soon see ICO's asking not only 0.01 Eth or even 0.1 Eth just to get their rewards that they've worked for months, we hate ICO changing rules just to abuse their bounty participants, we have seen how Dexage lock their bounty hunters token for 6 months for a reason that was not bounty hunter's  fault..

Please stop abusing bounty hunters

Just do away your deposit rules and everything will be good

Don't invest here this could be a scam project they are asking bounty hunters to invest first before they get their rewards I have never seen this kind of condition before it has never been implemented if they are very abusive to their bounty hunters their next target are investors.

2794  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nodvix asking bounty hunters to invest 0.01 Eth to get paid for their work on: June 13, 2019, 09:21:27 AM
All bounty hunters should delete their campaign if they are a blogger and participate on this campaign create a blog post about this scamming, this is unacceptable, this is the first time I read those bounty hunters should invest to get their rewards, this is another way of scamming bounty hunters, they are now targetting bounty hunters.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcointalk not issue a separate coin? on: June 13, 2019, 09:13:14 AM
More and more new projects are born. For a successful project, the bitcointalk forum is an important step in promoting the project. So why does bitcointalk not issue its own coin to manage and make requests for projects to post on the forum. Like a project running IEO on exchanges, bitcointalk acts as the exchange for the purpose of minimizing phishing projects. Help forum remove spam messages

They are the official representative of Bitcoin, so why to set up one, why make things complicated, they are already making money from advertisement and about spam post, we already have moderators who take care of that, look at the issue on Stake.com campaign they are addressing it because so many spams is coming on that bounty, this is according to reports not mine.
2796  Economy / Economics / Re: would you give your fingerprint or eye scan for a fair money supply? on: June 13, 2019, 06:04:48 AM
I am creating a money supply which distributes duration to addresses but need a way to verify each person has only one account

would you give your fingerprint or eye scan for a fair money supply?

see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-based_currency
unlikely I'm a big fan of decentralization, and all my information are mine and mine alone I cannot even prove that you'll have a project that will have a potential in the future, the worse thing is, you have one of my information and I have your tokens which have no value at all only a promise coming from you that it will soon have a value.
2797  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: June 13, 2019, 05:36:31 AM
Few months back when I was reading this forum, somebody said Bitcoin investors and supporters just think of Bitcoin $5000 or $10,000 or $40,000. They do not know anything.

$1 to $5000 in 10 years and Bitcoin people still say Bitcoin is an investment and not super-HYIP or ponzi.
Talks of Bitcoin as global currency and Bitcoin taking over Gold and Silver.

Just like billionaire Warren Buffet who keeps saying buy Apple inc. shares and other shares and thereby pushing DOW Jones to 25000 with the help of financial cartel because people are too foolish and they believe in $1000 to $10,000 in 12 years.

We can't stop people from thinking that way, because this forum is full of people talking about profit hodling and trading this is, in my opinion, the best part of investing in Bitcoin, because we all want to be financially free but people who talk this way are also well educated on the risk and how this technology works, you will not invest blindly or you will lose everything.
2798  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2019, 05:28:24 AM
institutions especially those on the private sectors are definitely investing not only on Bitcoin but also top cryptocurrency in the market, these private investment institutions must sustain their business model and Bitcoin is a good option for them to make a profit both from short term or short term.
2799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know xCrypt IEO on IDAX? on: June 13, 2019, 04:47:40 AM
I know that project, I used to think about whether to participate in its bounty. But after finding out, I decided not to participate. But I heard that it sold the IEO to collect $ 3 million within a few hours. But there are people selling them on ForkDelta for 10 times lower prices
Bounty campaign is over and will be distributed after the IEO, this is not the only token that is holding an IEO and at the same time actively trading on DEX, but those are coming from the bounty hunters, on the xCrypt case, they haven't distributed the campaign rewards, where are those tokens coming I hope xCrypt IEO will still generate more funds.
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitter Truth about Bounties on: June 13, 2019, 04:27:17 AM
How many of you bounty hunters are actually making up to 500$ per project after months of promoting the bounty project this year? I heard that those who make thousands of $$$$ in 2017/ early 2018 are fortunate because of the bullrun ,so thus that means if no bullrun all bounties won't bring huge profits???

Let's talk about bounties that are not looking for funds like ICO and IEO ,they are always better and you don't need to wait forever to get your tokens,I like promoting already listed coins or tokens ,it's gives better rest of mind

I miss those days I made 1 to 3 Bitcoin in only 3 to 4 months of the signature bounty campaign, but now in 2019 you can hardly make $100 the last one I'm in was Icechain and after 2 months I only made$ 40, see the huge difference, I stopped doing ICO signature bounty anymore there's no guaranty that you will make a profit anymore because of the very long time for token to get listed.
