281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to withdraw ENJ from 1 exchange to 2 - issues on: December 02, 2023, 12:39:47 PM
They have a step by step guide of migrating token version to native coin using their wallet[1], it looks like they will no longer support the ERC20 network once all circulating amounts have been migrated. I think you will no longer be able to exchange otherwise because the tokens will be automatically sent to the burning address.
Quote
A: Your existing ERC-20 tokens will be burned through transfer to a burn address, and mainnet ENJ tokens will be sent to the Enjin Blockchain address you select. You will no longer be able to access your existing tokens after initiating the migration for these tokens.

282  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 02, 2023, 11:05:30 AM
I have not found a clearnet forum that is worthy of being a competitor of bitcointalk except reddit.

To be honest, I think that Lazarus group is a fictional group. It doesn't make sense for North Korea to have so talented hackers, even if they are protected by the government, it still doesn't make sense if we keep in mind the philosophy of that country. Also, Lazarus group has so much money and so many talented people, they could run their own mixer/coinjoin services instead of using someone else's.
I kind of agree with this, I think it's just a result of investigators' inability to track crimes, why not just say that these criminals are in extreme areas that they can't access. Or (random thingking), it's actually a concocted "project" to confiscate the multimillion dollar money resstrained in a mixer.
283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hotbit stops operation on: December 01, 2023, 02:11:08 PM
I accidentally checked Hotbit telegram channel, and it turns out they're preparing to launch Hotbit 2.0 DEX version with 2 types of trading (Swap and Margin), currently in testnet stage and has a bug bounty program. The mainnet launch isn't yet known. https://t.me/Hotbit_English/3486469
Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Hotbit
284  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 01, 2023, 01:47:10 PM
- Hey, how can I gain privacy in Bitcoin?
- Use mixers!
- Cool, which one?
- ....
- I don't know, I think I wrote my recommendation once. Just look in my post history.

If tomorrow Gov declare Bitcoin btc as a money laundering source then we will see Bitcoin word in blacklist and also we will change domain??
If that were to happen I would suggest the nocointalk dot org domain be reserved, or someone should develop a full TOR version of the bitcoin forum
285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please be aware, Bibox exchange is scamming people! on: December 01, 2023, 07:14:50 AM
~
OK, I see it.
Coingecko and cmc also posted warnings about the exchange. It seems that no authorities are interested in investigating these crooks even though they have been suspected of being a scam since the beginning of this year.

286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 139btc I'm looking for the owner, it's important! on: December 01, 2023, 06:31:51 AM
Some of the evidence you provide here will not make people to believe that this is a real story
You should read his reply next, he signed the message with that address.

the OP is obviously the guy that stole the wallet that then spent the 139btc. now he is doubling down pretending to be a innocent bystander that pretends to have access to someone that hands him wallets
I think you're right, I see that the wallet was actually emptied and costing more than half of the balance as tx fees. OP seems to be using mixer service to blur the traces.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to move currency BTC pair from one exchange to another on: December 01, 2023, 05:16:03 AM
another question is how can i even trade USD - GBP ore EUR - GBP on exchange ?

it does not allow me to deposit GBP as currency

is there another way to change currency to currency on exchange ?
Does your local bank not allow that?
This may be too personal a question, why would you want a BTC/GBP pair if you're this complicated? It should be noted that too many exchange processes are also costly. I think you can simply trade BTC with your local currency on the local exchange.
288  Other / Meta / Re: DT system is centalized or decentralized? Poll on: November 30, 2023, 03:56:42 PM
This is community-oriented centralization (@shahzadafzal explains well what I think in the 2nd line). However, the admin can act without it if in his personal judgment, the system is seriously damaged.

The system is so rotten and corrupt that it allows trolls
What you're talking about is the power of influence. And almost all DT members don't blindly take sides without looking at their background.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: November 30, 2023, 02:53:51 PM
Usually a businessman will teach his children not to waste money, but to take advantage of existing facilities instead of spending money blindly, although not all teach them like that.
Even having special time with family is a challenge for rich people, I don't think they can teach their children anything you say well. On the other hand, rich people spend more time with business than average people, so environmental influences are actually more dominant in shaping the characteristics of their children.
290  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Ronaldo Faces $1 Billion Class Action Lawsuit For Promoting Binance!! on: November 30, 2023, 02:15:42 PM
Is that number serious? compare with CZ's personal fine some time ago of around $50 million. The roles between the promoter and the mastermind of Binance are clearly much different, I don't think that the Binance and CR partnership will also add a large number of new users as the public thinks. Not all CR7 fans are interested in NFT bullshit either.
291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please be aware, Bibox exchange is scamming people! on: November 30, 2023, 02:49:30 AM
^ What coin did you withdraw? Have you confirmed that they dont carry out maintenance for withdrawing the coin? And especially don't you have any problems with their KYC system?
Don't know how strict they are, it could be that depositing and withdrawing the same coin in close proximity triggers their investigation.
292  Other / Meta / Re: Has Bitcointalk lost it's appeal for projects to announce themselves on? on: November 29, 2023, 01:15:31 PM
The attraction of visitors to this forum has not diminished, but it is now more organic on those boards thanks to the algorithm that theymos implemented to prevent spam behavior that seems to be really working. As I remember most of the altcoin team representatives also hired spammers to excessively bumping their announcement threads.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 29, 2023, 08:57:28 AM
I was wondering and it's funny the website have similar code as FTX
FTX is a registered brand with copyright, FTX 2.0 is rumored to be launching (not yet launched). If you are here talking about another exchange but calling it FTX 2.0, you are actually spreading lies. I don't know how you look at the interface and code.

I dont mention any name If you can think and are smart and you really understood you will know.
What if smart people chose not to bother guessing what's in your head because it's a waste of time? You open the topic in the trading room, don't expect anyone to speculate.
294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your big plans for the Bitcoin halving coming up in a few months? on: November 29, 2023, 05:29:07 AM
I don't have any specific plans for the upcoming halving, the fact is that from previous events the price will not suddenly move in a positive direction drastically.
Bull market cycles may always occur, but no one guarantees the exact date. Just accumulate and diversify portfolios and hope one of them experiences a positive trend early.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: November 29, 2023, 05:16:32 AM
Once the guys like joe Biden will go away their kids can't handle nothing maximum will be that they easy targets for foreign sharp minded people to take advanched of the situation.
Well, that's the problem, I don't think I could enter their social circle to make them poor. This is a kind of bet on the chance of exchanging wealth levels. After all, this is just a poor guy's way of thinking that getting rich unnaturally is that easy.
296  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is freewallet a good? on: November 29, 2023, 04:36:14 AM
Please remove Freewallet multi crypto wallet!
Complementing a reply above me, someone named Stafstor https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3568746
actively fighting freewallets including efforts to get freewallet delisted in some app stores. He has also created a dedicated site related to it if you want to contribute there.
297  Other / Meta / Re: Need some support for Nexus (NXS) thread transfer on: November 28, 2023, 08:15:31 AM
I support this proposal based on my conclusions:
  • checked out github account have been actively contributing since nov 2014 in the nexusoft repositories.
  • the first reply on the old ANN was posted just 22 secs after the thread created, which means it was published in good coordination between the two of them.

And what keywords you've used for Nexus that make the old one appear more than the latest one I checked some and your thread appears to be on top.
I think it is the specific keyword "nexus bitcointalk", I tried it the old ANN was in the top results followed by the new ANN (2019) in 2nd.
298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 27, 2023, 10:46:02 PM
While there are others who have too little income, that they cannot profit from the market trading, they are always worried about loosing and because of that they make mistakes with their technical analysis and end up loosing the little money they have.
Popular quote, "trade the amount you can afford to lose".
Exchanges allow small deposits which means trading is affordable even for retail traders. The crypto market has greater volatility than other markets, even with small cap you have the same opportunities as large cap. It should be noted that profit in this case refers to a percentage of cap, not based on the amount of cap.
299  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please tag my old account (98789) on: November 27, 2023, 01:22:26 PM
I am open to ideas if anyone has any (if resetting 98789's password is the way to go, I would at least like to read some sort of consensus that that won't cause additional "shadiness" to this process).
Actually it doesn't matter, if I were you then that would be the first thing I'd do without opening a new account and starting a topic as if everyone cares about me. After all you still have access to your old coinbase wallet, even if you can't prove ownership with that address, people won't question it if you reuse that address for your business on this forum.
300  Economy / Reputation / Re: Scammer who turned out to be Entrepreneur on: November 27, 2023, 09:19:20 AM
It's no surprise that scammers usually use photos of public figures. So I'd not conclude too quickly that this scammer is an entrepreneur, unless in one of the details of this entrepreneur's profile below
